convenient to family members we were up there to see. 2 restraunts very close. elevator for upper floors because I'm handicapped noisy and dirty, dirty, dirty!!!!!!!!!!! stains on linen, beds half made, sticky floors. sorry. but some guests appeared to like their drugs. we could smell it drifting into the elevator and our room. I wouldn't take my 6 yr old grandson there.
Good location All Good
It was close to a Bob Evans and other food options The hallway you can hear really well. Expected for this type of hotel
Staff were nice and pleasant. Everything else pretty abysmal. An older facility that didn't feel safe, clean or comfortable. Dirty shower and towels. Didn't even look at state of sheets for fear of what we would find. Came out covered in flea bites. Very noisy. Wouldn't stay again or recommend. Stayed here only as rest of city fully booked - paid way too much as a result on top of it all. Would travel out of town to find a room next time.
It was inexpensive and clean with friendly staff in a convenient downtown location that was easy to access downtown Detroit. This was a location that is not overly friendly late at night and a family with young children would need to be concerned if outside in the evenings.
The clerk on duty was exceptionally helpful
Within walking distance of Greektown! I rooms we cheaper on there sign then on this site. The double rooms have better beds.
Within reasonable walking distance of Ford Field and people mover
The idea that the Clique restaurant is attached is a bonus
Terrible hotel! Dirty and old
the staff (one young gentleman in particular) was very welcoming & helpful. He helped with directions, maps, things to do & made arrangements to check us in hours before the normal check in time. The location of this hotel is great. We love to walk everywhere, and we found everything to be within reasonable walking distance (in town for a football game) but there is a cheap 50 cent train ride to take you everywhere too my only complaint about this hotel was the noise at night. I'm assuming it was louder than usual because of the full house in town for the steeler-lions game but we were awoken several times at night with what sounded like shady business a few times. but just for the record, the loudest, longest and most annoying disturbance was an obscene, intoxicated canadian who was locked out of his room at 4am for an hour or so.... the staff made sure to apologize for this when we checked out in the morning.
friendly and helpful staff - good value for money
location near renaisance center, breakfast at attached diner
The front desk agent was friendly. The first room I checked in was disgusting. There was food smashed all over the floor. The mirrors were dirty. The shower and sink had hair in them. The sheets had hair and stains. The remote control had food smeared all across it. I immediately called the front desk and expressed my concerns. I was quickly put in another room. The second room was slightly better but still dirty. The mirrors were dirty. The shower has lots of hair and an old used bar of soap. The toilet had hair on it. There are also dumpsters full of trash in the halls near the stairwells. I will not recommend or return to this property. It should be rated a 1-1.5 star. The only good thing about this property was the friendly staff.
It was quiet on the side I was staying in... I think they allow to many young and wild kids to stay their.. That place has always been known as the party place, even when it was Cross Country Inn.. And I see that the same lady is in charge now as was back then.. Sonja I believe is her name. So I also see not much has changed with the place except the name...
The bed was huge and very comfortable I killed like 6 bugs while I was there. The 'breakfast' is pathetic.
Clean room and a great location for my needs. Hard to imagine why this hotel isn't rated 3 or above.
Price, location Smoke detector dangling from ceiling, verly unlevel floor, hair in tub drain, elevator smelt like something was burning
Great location and staff. The breakfast was a little sparse but for the price it was good. the front desk made us feel welcome. What surprised me was how clean it was! The reviews mention cleanliness but I didn't have a single issue.
The location It was filthy, out dated and in complete disrepair. Their ideas of maitnance is just to slap a rest coat of paint on broken items.
Friendly staffgood restaurant close by cleanliness of the roomcigarette smoke smell in non'smoking room
Staff was kind All good
Moderate category, clean, friendly staff. The room needs to be updated with lighter colour furniture, but the bathroom was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the TV was large and I especially love the wood floors. Maybe time to change some furniture.
Friendly staff always! The price was a little high for the length of time I stayed.
the Room was nasty stained carpet and all

Location Stink bugs
convenient location; fair accomodations for price Requested multiple times to have maintenace check on room toilet through would not flush properly. No one ever came.
convenient location this Hotel was not what i was expecting as i have stayed with this company before. receptionist was fine. The lock on my door took a few minutes to get in because it was about half broke. No coffee pots in room. do not plan on eating breakfast here.

Nothing Room was disgusting. Clearly not cleaned. Wet dirty washcloth on floor of tub, urine on toilet seat, toilet usually would not flush, makeup powder on/in sink, bag tied over smoke detector, A/C did not work, skunky smell in room, rude & unhelpful manager.
Nothing It was very nasty and dirty. I had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean and disinfect the room. I wanted my money back as Soon as I opened the door. This was the last hotel available in the metro detroit area with decent prices during our power outage.
Called the hotel and told them my flight was coming in late. No one ever logged it so the King room i requested got turned into 2 queens and he was acting like he was doing a favor by not charging me extra. That's crazy. Won't stay there again.
Cheap price Out dated tv in first room I stayed. Second room didn't have a phone.
The price The room seemed dirty and smelled like smoke when I first got there. Also on the 2nd night after my day I arrived to the room and my card for the door did not work. I went to lobby to fix cars and nobody was there for about 15-20 minutes.
Stained carpet, stained chair upholstery, broken bed, bathroom NOT CLEAN, bedside lamps not working.
Front desk man was fantastic, however the room was absolutely awful! I walked in and left immediately to find a new hotel! Everything, this motel was honestly disgusting! The smell in the room when I walked in was enough to make me turn right around and walk out
Location and price Housekeeping missed Alot of stuff !
While nothing fancy, the hotel was very serviceable. It's clean and has a friendly staff, and was great for our weekend stay.
Good location; quiet; great restaurants around the area. Bathtub drain was stuck. Couldn't drain the tub. Had to use the trash can to drain the tub.
Ideal location and decent value Customer service upon checking in subpar (questioned my identity, scowled suspiciously at me and my company)
poor lighting in the room bath towels not big enough
The room looked even better than the photographs online. The staff was a bit difficult to deal with. Mainly the guy at the counter didn't seem to have it all together. The check-in process needs to be computerized.
Nothing, was extremely shady. The first room I booked smelled like cigarettes, I had to pay more to get a better room. I didn't like anything about this hotel. I didn't feel safe.
Very clean. Nice furniture. Lack of microwave even though other rooms had one. I did not inform the hotel staff. Maybe they would have given me one.
Oftentimes I've stayed in once nice hotel/motels that are being allowed to run down. It is a pleasure to find one that is older, but is constantantly being made nicer, upgraded, and well maintained. It seems like the folks that run it actually care for it
the female office staff was very helpful. the male office person was cold and devious trying to charge a $20.00 'room cleaning fee' in cash on top of room fee. not anything like what the site depicted. way over-priced for what was offered. 2 cup morning coffee limit only available in office(which opened after we had to leave). tub did not hold water for bath, had to 'hunt' to find a tiny microwave listed w/room.
It was convenient. The staff was nice. The room: ripped comforter, peeling wallpaper, dirty bathroom floor, shower plugged up, and ashes everywhere. The motel: boarded doors and windows, drab lobby, long-term residents, and very basic amenities. I would only stay here again if it was the only place to stay in Romulus.
nothing do not go! save your time and go somewhere else
Nothing The room was horribly nasty, there was what looked like vomit on the comforter and when we called front desk they said we just have to deal with it... I almost felt safer sleeping in the car.....
