The lobby where the Thrifty desk is located is crazy loud. I could barely hear the representative when I called the location directly. It completely put me off, but I stuck with it. I had no problem with the car or staff. The walk to the lot for picking up the car is a bit of a pain but I'm not sure how they could work around that since the office is right at the dock. Pros:Staff was friendy and helpful. Car was clean. Location of agency inconvenient. NOT AT AIRPORT as advertised.Cons:Thrifty was not located where advertised. Advertised that it was at the airport, NOT TRUE. Agency is located about 1 mile away from airport. I had to get a ride to pick up carand was dropped off at airport where agency was supposed to be and isn't. Had to wait till manager could come and pick me up. Very inconvenient.Reviewed Feb 27 2021

Cons:Rental was for a commercial van and it was a bait and switch situation - instead of the van the only available vehicle was a Penske box truck. Vehicle had more than 100,000 miles, reeked of smoke and felt dangerous to drive.Reviewed Dec 2 2020

Pros:Staff was very helpful and pleasant. When I picked up the car the woman at the counter took her time to help me understand about the tolls and to choose a route to avoid having to pay the high fees.Reviewed Oct 1 2019

Cons:It was advertised there was a shuttle at the airport. There was no shuttle and never has been. I found another car at a vendor onsite, paid more and then spent 40 minutes trying to cancel my Thrifty rental. Had to drive to Thrifty to cancel in person. Never again.Reviewed Jul 25 2019
