Pros:The pickup/dropoff process was quick and the car was ready when we arrived. The car itself was nice & clean.
Cons:The car we got wasn't the class we requested. The person at the pickup counter was a way over the top in his attempt to get me to buy their insurance. Trying to tell someone who has worked in insurance for 20+ years about how insurance works was laughable and insulting. I know they are under pressure to up-sell that garbage, but it was too much. He went on and on about how I'd be out so much money for "every single second we didn't have the car while it was in the shop." Insulting and frustrating, just stop it with the upselling on the insurance, or focus on 20 year olds who don't know any better. The final price I paid was nowhere near what I was quoted online and at the counter, so I will have to spend time figuring out where they got the extra $100. The drop-off staff member looked over every inch of the car in an apparent attempt to find any kind of ding or dent to blame on me. Again, insulting and infuriating.

Cons:They did not have the car class I reserved (Tahoe or Nissan Armada). They wanted to put me in a much smaller vehicle (Chevy equinox) in which we did not fit. They would not upgrade to a larger model even though they had that. We had to go to a different company who graciously filled our needs.
Cons:My plane was delayed so when I arrived they told me they had given away my vehicle and would give me another, larger vehicle, for significantly more money. I told them to forget it and AVIS gave me a special walk up rate to match what I had expected to pay at Thrifty. While waiting in line at Thrifty I observed them pressuring the prior customer into purchasing all kinds of extra options, even though it was clear that she did not want them.
Pros:The car was great, good gas mileage. Clean and comfortable! Great customer service, will defiantly rent with them again.
Cons:I was charged $52 at the counter for extending less than 24hrs, the reason been that Alaska cancelled the flights on the day (due to smoke). This DOUBLE the daily rate of the booking. Tried to extend the booking online, could not find the reservation with the itinerary provided. Your 800 number to call was not in service! Called Thrifty the day before, they could not find the reservation.
Pros:Staff was very friendly and helpful the whole time from check in to check out.

Pros:Nice clean, comfortable car. Very quick and efficient pick up and drop off.
Cons:We were charged a $300 cleaning fee which was absolutely not necessary. The car was left as clean as we found it.
Pros:Price was good and car was clean. Drop off was extremely efficient.
Cons:Car was blah - color and type. Pickup was high pressure to upgrade on insurance.
