Pros:Helpful staff, efficient, quick pick up and drop off.

Cons:Price, very high price for returning to another city when in this day and age rentals are so fluid same company owns all locations!
Pros:Drop off was off hours. The signage for Hertz was poor. Only Avis and budget were marked prominently on the lot. Signage and instructions could be more obvious.
Cons:Thrifty pickup was poor as no cars were available. They had to shuttle me to the local Hertz instead to complete the contract. It took about 1.5hrs to get my vehicle. Once gotten, it was fine as it looks like they gave me an upgraded car-by choice or not, I don’t know.
Cons:pushy sales person. everything was extra. did i want winter tyres... eh its winter in canada?? of course. did i want insurance...i had taken the insurance on the kayak. but apparently that is no good and on it went
Pros:We had booked a downtown pick-up at 2 pm Sunday. We got there at 2:07. The office was closed. Two other couples with bookings arrived after us. Called Thrifty. Told we could get a van at the airport, 34 km away. Phoned airport - not true

Pros:The easy way to obtain a good price for rent a car, and the good attention to pick it up, nice people.
Cons:Was bad I had to wait for almost 30 minutes in the airport to return the car, the only one employe who was in charge, was not enough she had to do everything, She saw me that I was in a hurry, and received the keys and ask me for my e mail to send my bill, of course i didn't received nothing yet, this is unaceptable, in an airport where we have to respect scheduled flights
Pros:Yes the staff was helpful and polite. Most notably the return was exceptionally quick and easy.
Cons:More counter help. The customer in front of me asked EVERY question imaginable and some that were unimaginable and then of course the attendant was trying to up sell. Sorry but the last thing you want to do after a long day of traveling is to wait in line unnecessarily. Once they got done our transaction went smoothly and we were on our way.
Pros:great price -great car
Cons:Picking up the car in Halifax took way to long, over 45 minutes which caused us to be an hour late for a wedding. A new (I assume) employee was very slow.....had to ask someone else to step in and move us along faster, in being late, my partner slipped on steps and twisted his ankle, stressful, but all in all, the rest was fine. I had called the rental the day before picking it up to see if I could drop by and fill out the paper work to speed it up, this option was not available to me.
