Pros: We stayed at the Residence Inn for a weekend. This is a solid hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast is complimentary; overall, a good value for the money. My only complaint is that the hotel staff knocked on our door around 9 am on our checkout day. I still don't understand the purpose for this; I found it annoying. Other than that minor issue, we had a wonderful stay!
Cons: When we arrived we had to wait 45 minutes in the lobby while I sat on hold with Kayak. Apparently there was an issue with Kayaks credit card. We had to eat in the lobby and my guests were fussy and the front desk couldn't even fix the issue. She had to call out for outside help. Unacceptable.
Pros: Nice rooms with a very good breakfast. Staff was very accommodating!

Cons: Very dated

Cons: I've stayed here twice before and it was great.
This time, no housekeeping.
Elevators not working and you needed to step over piles of garbage to use the service elevator.
Starbucks in the lobby just didn't open Sunday morning. Staff unaware why or even that it wasn't open even though they were looking right at a dark restaurant.
Pros: As far as Towson goes, there doesn't seem to be too many hotels, and if you don't mind a little walk, everything is within reaching distance of this locale. Rooms are VERY comfortable, TVs big, plenty of place to put your things.
Cons: They could up their game in the quality of the toiletries. A little scent goes a long way.
Also, room service messed up my order pretty well, not sure the guy was really paying close attention when I ordered, but it's all good.
Pros: Location met our needs perfectly.
Cons: The rooms and hallways were dark.
Pros: liked the proximity to Goucher and shopping
Cons: While the staff were friendly and helpful when they could be, the hotel felt understaffed. Things felt a bit shabby and worn around the edges. And what hotel with a pool, business or otherwise, closes it down during the daytime hours when those of us working or visiting family/friends might have an hour to get a workout in? It's great that you pay a lifeguard, but don't skimp on the hours.
Cons: People smoking weed, parting extermly loud and having sex none stop they all could hear. Called to complain serveral times with nothing being done. Horrible stay me we not recommend it

Cons: Could have had wifi, better tv in the room and the bathroom felt tight and the ceiling was kind of eh.
Refrigerator in room
Cons: Difficult to return to from the east; I.e., the rest of town.
Pros: staff were friendly and helpful, even late at night
Cons: hall light between bedroom and bathroom was burned out
tv didn't work- buttons on tv and remote didn't work, had to unplug the tv to turn it off
we reserved a room with two double beds but got a room with one king bed. nothing was available to switch to.
Pros: The water stayed hot in the shower.
Cons: During the power outage during the ice storm, we stayed here. We have a 10 and 8 year olds. We waited in a 1 1/2 hour line to check in. Our ice machine didn't work on the first floor room 1099 G. We did not have a romote for the TV so we called to have one delivered . 1 hour later I called again and 2 hours later the romote showed, only to find the TV didn't work. Because of the ice storm , you were so busy, we couldn't move rooms . Everyone was nice , and at least we were warm.... But it wasn't fun , especially for our little boys .

Pros: Had problems with them taking money on hold and then they mistakingly made $950 deposit into my account
Pros: The rooms are nice and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The room comes with a microwave and fridge. The breakfast was nice.
Cons: The lady at the front desk who checked me and my boyfriend in, later gave him a business card with her cell number on the back for him to text/call her. My card was 'randomly' charged $60 at 3:00 at night with no explanation.
Pros: They gave a pretty good breakfast. Unfortunately that's where the good qualities ended!
Cons: There was no ventilation at all in the bathroom. The room was too small to put a king size bed in it but yet they did! No chair to sit in only the bed! The room was so bad that we couldn't deal with it anymore and went home early! TV was messed up also!
Pros: Clean and comfortable with a fast elevator and nice staff. Breakfast area was large which was a plus. The breakfast was okay.
Cons: Room was on the smaller side and parking was tight but not unexpected.
Pros: The staff was amazing
Pros: Nice clean rooms and a great breakfast. Often, hotels will give you a bagel and coffee, but they provide a real full complement breakfast.
Cons: The rooms were a little smaller than expected
Pros: How clean and friendly the staff was.
Pros: The selection for the breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of toiletry in the room.
Cons: The room was small. The location was kind of far from the destination.
Pros: The staff was very courteous and friendly.
Cons: I loved everything about this hotel
Pros: nice pillows
Cons: Quite a bit Light in room did not work, air conditioner made such a gurgling sound we could not use it, no chair other than desk chair Had to sit on bed , bathroom door did not shut, door was hard to open to get into room and slammed when leaving
Cons: Room was small and parking on cramped. Bathroom was cramped even for one person.

Cons: I was double booked. The clerk didnt catch when I checked in or checked out. I was traveling overnight and did t pick it up til I got to office yesterday.
Pros: Very nice - similar to other hotels in this chain
Cons: The room was a first floor room with a musty smell. Seemed as though it was flooded at one time - needed a deep steam clean.
Pros: The room was comfortable and the location is great for Baltimore County.
Cons: No microwave and a refrigerator that didn't have ability to be adjusted was not very cool.
Pros: The customer service was phenomenal!
Pros: Clean and spacious room. Pool with towels. Small but well equipped gym.
Cons: A bit far from Baltimore and room fridge does not include freezer.
Pros: The wall print behind the bed.
Pros: they had hard candies at the check-in desk.
Pros: price for the reservation was good since all i needed was a place to sleep and shower after an early morning check in. Room was fine and bed was comfortable. t
Cons: really the only thing wrong with this place is the lobby area is very dated and in major need of an upgrade. the hotel is old but the room was fine and not as dated as everything outside of the room.
Pros: Friendly staff, rooms was clean and had a microwave and refrigerator. The bed was comfortable.
Pros: Can't go wrong with Marriott.
Pros: Nice, friendly restaurant staff. Good food.  the front desk is extremely courteous and helpful. Quiet location.

Cons: The breakfast was not good. The toasters did not work to toast the bagels and the eggs were not eatable.
Pros: Breakfast, and sofa bed for our kids was very convenient.
Cons: While looking for my son's stuffed animal in the chair cushions, I found a sandwich baggie with the corner tied in a knot and white powder in it. I turned it in to the manager at the front desk, but they didn't say much about it. They didn't even ask my name or room number for a report. Hope it was reported to authorities.
Pros: The bed set up
Cons: The size of the bathroom
Pros: Helpful staff. Got upgraded to a suite when my room wasn't available. Also helped me with the washing machine.
Cons: Furnishing was a little old and needs to be updated. Neighborhood was ok but not as quiet as I would have liked.
Pros: Clean, Comfortable, Friendly,
Cons: When is was raining you could really hear it, because of the drops hitting the AC unit. Took a bit more effort to fall asleep.
Pros: King suite rooms were very large, friendly staff, great location
Cons: lack of sufficient lamps/lighting in the rooms. Room lights that automatically go on with motion sensors at any time of the day.
Pros: Front desk friendliness
Cons: No receipt upon checkout
Cons: We had a terrible night. The staff couldn't manage a very large family event - over 200 people -- so there was disruptive noise until 2 am
Pros: We stayed for 3 days in the middle of our vacation. Of the hotels we stayed in, this was the best. While not luxurious, it was very nice and the suite type room fit our needs well. The staff supplied plenty of towels each day and left our belongings "as is" while we were out for the day.
Cons: The restaurant in the hotel was a Vietnamese restaurant which probably wouldn't cater to many children. We went else where for the meals we ate close to the hotel.
Pros: There is a great Pho restaurant attached to the hotel. The staff was very nice and it was an overall great stay. Nice TVs but not in high definition.
Cons: Our room looked like it had a bit of water damage. It was right next to the gym so we heard a bit of noise.

Cons: Didn't inform us the water was getting shut off in the morning. We woke up to no water! Thank god it was for pleasure and not business. Front desk person basically told us "OH WELL" Really? The manager was to call us that after noon. No call. Tuesday called and she knew nothing about it. Would talk to Kayak and give us half the bill off. Never called back! Had to go through Kayak to settle the whole thing. Kudos to Kayak.
Pros: Kudos to Patrick!!
Pros: Despite what you read here, rooms were very quiet, comfortable and seemed newly renovated. Hotel was quiet but we didnt care about that.
Cons: Hot water was an issue for me and other guests I spoke to. The staff worked hard to fix it, but I think the issue was out of their control.
The hotel features 249 newly renovated rooms with free parking, a 24 hour fitness center, seasonal outdoor pool, 26,000 square feet of convention, meeting or social event space. A full service restaurant and bar, Northern Lights which is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For your convenience, room service is also available.
Cons: Tiny bathroom, no coffee maker Very poor signal quality on TV, thin walls between rooms
Cons: Wifi is nonexistent in the room even though it may function at the front desk. Threadbare and not a place to hang out. Just for sleeping.
Pros: The room was clean, the management was extremely nice and made a point to ask me if I needed anything to let them know. The location was very convenient for me and parking was never an issue.
Cons: It was pretty noisy the first night I was there (a Thursday night). The walls are pretty thin. However, I slept with no problems the next two nights. I only wish the bathroom had a bathroom instead of a shower. Bed was comfy.
Pros: The manager was very accommodating.
Pros: The manager was friendly. My checking in and out went smoothly and fast. Hotel is located close to Towson Mall. Quite and safe neighborhood.
Cons: The rug needs to be changed or at least thoroughly washed. Bedsheets had some holes, like a cigarette burn or so.
Pros: it was a very good value, a quiet stay, and comfortable. management offered me an alarm clock when requested.
Cons: i encountered some difficulty at registration, but eventually i was able to convey and receive the information i needed.
Pros: location is great.
Cons: The staff does not understand English.
For The price it's good.
Pros: Staff was great, price was good too.
Pros: Convenience, wonderful staff, price.
Cons: Non-smoking room.
Pros: It was cozy. Staff was polite. Located in the middle of everything!
Pros: This hotel is exactly as described - no frills, but clean and close to the city center (walking distance). Exactly what we needed. Good value. Recommend.
Pros: Not much.
Cons: This place is the pits. It feels like a room paid for by the hour.

Pros: Breakfast was included
Very accesable to major high way
Close to Baltimore
Pros: Positives: front desk (friendly, informed, efficient) ; room was clean....
Cons: Drawbacks (room 224): could not shower, not enough water coming through new water saver shower head , room lights need brighter . A/C not efficient and settings appeared useless , bathroom lighting worse than main room , tub drain stopper complete disconnected (take off all jewelry or you will lose it down the drain!!)
Pros: The room itself and the facility was very clean. Moved us to another room when AC broke.
Cons: AC broke in 2 different rooms, no tissues for the room, no refrigerator, closed pool AFTER it was confirmed 2 days earlier to be open, tv didn't work in either room, paper thin walls.
Cons: Beds were bad.Too noisy
Pros: Comfortable, clean bedrooms with clean bathrooms.
Cons: The front desk clerk was rude on the day we checked in - Aug 8. The clerk on the day we checked out, however, was great.
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: The wall near the bathroom was leaking so the carpet infront of tne bathroom was soaken wet, the hall way smelled like vomit. I found the issue was there was a plastic bag out front of our neighbors hotel room that had clothing covered im vomit. The cleaning staff walked past it three times no one got rid of it. For breakfast i had apple juice that tasted like it wemt bad weeks ago. Not a great place for $100 a night.

Guest rooms include a flat-screen TV, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Also, earn rewards including free nights and gift cards with our Choice Privileges Rewards program. $100.00 charge for smoking in a non-smoking room.
Pros: Room was real nice. Girl at desk (Alda) is great and apologetic about the inconvience for 2 nights of noise at all hours.
Cons: 2 nights of 20 - 30 people partying on and off at 11pm -3am waking me up. Police came to boot a group second night. Third nigt a small bus came with partiers of 30+. Truck even drove up on sidewalks (have pics of tread marks). Hotel left a bag of trash cleaned from another room at my door (full of beer cans, have pics as well).
Not sure why persons are renting rooms for parties here. Not cool when on business and you need a goods nights rest and need to get up early. Breakfast is really really below average and coffee is horrible (went to Wawa or DD).
Pros: The fact that you had a full kitchen a living room with a fireplace and all for a low price.
Cons: That the toilet was terrible clogged and the cleaning staff didn't take care of it before we checked in but they did offer to move us to another room.
Pros: The young man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We were going to a function that started before the normal check in time but he was able to get us into our room soon enough for us to get to the event on time. You can tell that they are doing upgrades to the place but that did not interfere with our enjoying our stay. The suite was roomy with a full kitchen and utensils, sofa, stuffed side chair, two upright chairs at the kitchen counter, plenty of electrical sockets, very roomy bathroom, nice pictures on the walls, and a nice fireplace. The bed was very comfortable. There were a variety of items available for the free breakfast and it was being restocked as quickly as people emptied out the containers. A different young man checked us out and he was also very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Was looking forward to having a fire in the fireplace after we got back into our suite (was a very cold, windy day.) Did not realize till after we had put on our PJs that it was a wood burning fireplace -- we had no wood and we were unwilling to get dressed and go back out into the cold to find any wood. Wish they had told us at check-in about the need for wood. It was cold in the breakfast area. The scrambled eggs and potatoes in the "heated" serving pans were cold to lukewarm. Fortunately, there was a microwave available to nuke the food. The cream cheese that was served for the bagels were in containers used by everyone -- for health reasons, the cheese should have been offered in individual packages.
Pros: The staff were friendly and upgraded our room; there was free breakfast; the rooms were large suits with a full kitchen and living area
Cons: Our room smelled like cigarette smoke, even though it was supposedly a non-smoking room

Cons: The room stunk of a really sweaty oder. Baltimore airport closed a lot of flights, leaving choices to a minimum. I booked the room in desperation. I would of been better sleeping outside. I had to take my clothes out of my suitcase and lay on top of them on the bed. The she's and pillows stunk so bad it was unbearable. My skin started itching moments after entering the room for the first time. I don't mind non luxurious rooms or need all the bells and whistles but just need it functional and clean. The carpet stunk so bad I wouldn't let my dog sleep on it. It was by far the most unpleasant stay I have ever had in my life. I never slept a wink, worse than jail. They need to demolish the place including the foundatin and rebuild..(seriously)
