10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our first time in Vermont with my husband and we couldn’t ask for a better visit staying at the Lang House. Our stay was so relaxing and just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Next day, we had breakfast in bed which was absolutely so delicious and fresh. Both my husband and I decided the Lang house was the highlight of our trip. The staff and ownership were so nice and accommodating. The soaps and toiletries in the bathroom were awesome-smelled great. Our room was immaculate ( we stayed in Hayward) and the bed was extra comfortable. Loved every minute of our stay.

Beautiful dining room with beautifully set tables and many by windows. Wonderful, helpful staff. Even the simplest breakfast was set out with grace and elegance. Free parking a plus. Staff was very helpful all around and also in carrying up our luggage to our room on the second floor. Small guest refrigerator (shared by all guests) was a bonus.
Cons: We loved everything about the hotel; just weren't so excited about Burlington in the end. Would have preferred to stay in Woodstock.

Pros: The location, just a block or two outside the main village of Stowe, was perfect. The house and porch are surprisingly quiet, since the main road is not too far, but the room is SILENT! It was an excellent stay. The bed is extremely comfortable, the room has air conditioning and a fan, depending on your tastes, and the room is spotless. The private bathroom is incredibly clean and includes a bidet w/heated toilet seat. (This was a pleasant surprise.) Pros: The games room was an added bonus.
Cons: We were hoping there was a hot tub.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The cabin and the house I booked were both very cozy. And I do not mean small. I mean comfortable furnishings, and nicely decorated, with art on the walls that was appropriate for a mountain town. The house had a very large double living room, and both had patios, that I would imagine are very comfortable in the summer.

Plenty of space, cooked both nights in the kitchen with no problems. We were two adults and two older teenagers and we were very comfortable for a ski weekend. Reception staff was excellent and very helpful.

Pros: Rooms were clean and had enough room to move around with 6 people. The staff was super nice and knew the area. Smugglers Notch was a ten minute drive from the cabin.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the second time I chose to stay at Sterling Ridge resort for a Spring Ski trip to Smuggler's Notch. The staff is pleasant and accomodating. They provided us with a small jug of their own maple syrup, harvested from the property. My group is large, so I like the option to be able to book both a 12 person house (with large comfortable common area) as well as smaller cabins. It provides a lot of versatility for sleeping arrangements.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We loved that most of the rooms had their own bathrooms, pine scented toiletries were a nice touch. The large common area was a great gathering spot for our large group.

This is like a 5 star hotel in a small town, with tons of special amenities. Also loved the robes and the bathroom amenities from a local company, delicious. Plus the cute blanket rolled up on the bed, that you can take to the waterfront for chilly sunsets!
Cons: Nothing.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: Large rooms, pet friendly, great value, everything is modern and clean, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff. Just outside of downtown but for that you get very large suites and there's a 24 hour free shuttle service to any location within 5 miles and they pickup / dropoff on demand, just call. It's about a 5-8 min drive to downtown. The in suite kitchen's are also fully stocked with a full size fridge, pots and pans, silverware, sink and even a dishwasher. Feels like you're at home if staying for a few days.
Cons: To have a pet stay with you it's an extra 50 a night which which can add up and get expensive given the hotel price. I feel a one time pet cleaning fee would be more appropriate. I cleanup after my pet and there is no big mess.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The inn is centrally located with easy parking. We stayed in a luxury room with a whirlpool tub. The room was very nicely decorated and had a fireplace. The bed was super comfortable. We're spent some time by the pool. It is on the small side and was full of kids. It took a bit to get loungers because they were all claimed with towels. There is poolside bar and food service, which was nice. We had breakfast at the inn, which was nice but nothing special, although the baked goods on the buffet were delicious.
Cons: The halls were long and windy. The inn is put together out of multiple buildings and is like a maze. Lots of stairs to navigate.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff was polite and friendly. Great breakfast. Not the place for YUPEE'S.I have a rustic cottage in Connecticut. My cabin has a metal encased shower, we grill our food, our bedroom is 12ft X. 10FT.Our room at the INN and shower was 8 x 12 FEET.A little small with no TV , no Telephone , no wake up.noisy,no change of hand towels, etc. However, since Ive had my fishing cabin for 40 years it was no problem.I could not recommend my friends to stay at that INN. At 78 years old I would not recommend this INN to anyone for more than one night. Robert Vensel
Cons: My bathroom is larger than the Inn's Bedroom and bathroom. No telephone,,TV ,Clock,,Wakeup call impossible due to no phone but breakfast served between 9-10am . A large person or person with handicap cannot stay at this INN .No grab bar in 4FT x 4FT shower stall . Shower is good for children , and person under 6FT tall and under 130 LBS.Maybe the shower will be large to fit a person this size.Never have I seen an INN that was not handicapped accessible .I have a handicap. This INN should be investigated. Robert. Vensel I could name a few more things

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Valerie pays a great deal of attention to making people feel welcome and comfortable, properties like this really do endorse the reason we as a family tend to use non-branded large chain resort locations , it is really homely property , and they are just so accommodating and pay particular interest to your needs and requirements
Cons: There was nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved how convenient local restaurants and stores were. Beautiful sites and great places to ski nearby.
Cons: Nothing, it was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Valerie is a fabulous host - we loved meeting her, her family and her adorable dog! The Sugar Maple Suite was very comfortable, perfect for a family of 4, and the breakfast was quite delicious (as well as allergy-safe, which we really appreciated). When we needed last-minute dinner reservations, Valerie took care of everything. One of the best things about the inn is the common area, where people can hang out, read books, chat, play games, etc by a nice fireplace.
Cons: The walls are definitely thin, as it is an old inn. And as a skiing family, it would be great if breakfast were earlier, but we understood as Valerie has family duties to attend to as well as guests. She made very effort to accommodate us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Soooo clean, sooooo comfortable. Staff was AMAZING and exceeded expectations. The reviews I read said that the staff went above and beyond, and I thought "how can staff be that good?" but after staying there for three days I can truly say WOW. They were responsive, friendly, caring, and genuinely wanted everyone to have an amazing experience. They had a wealth of knowledge about the area and volunteered information that was a perfect fit for what we were seeking to do. Excellent value.

Pros: The scenery was beautiful and peaceful home was comfy the breakfast was delicious staff was great.

Pros: N/a
Cons: Door on the Tom Cruise suite was a bit difficult to open. Seems jammed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spotless clean large room that had a separate sink outside of the bathroom (no need to wait to get ready!) Large flat screen TV, refrigerator, microwave, single cup coffee maker . . .never expected all of this plus supplies for coffee and 2 bottles of water waiting for us. The bonus free admission to the adjacent Sunset Drive-in Theater (4 screens; built in 1947 & totally renovated) just put this wonderful gem over the top! The very kind owners (of the drive-in) built this Hollywood star themed motel 5 years ago. We were in the Audrey Hepburn room. Such an easy quick drive into busy Burlington. A true gem . . .already have my reservation in for our next trip!
Cons: Nothing . . .it was wonderful!

Pros: Aside from the ac issue this place is a gem.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location to Lake Champlain and Burlington Airport. Very friendly and responsive staff. Enjoyed check in process with Peter. We stayed in the Julia Roberts themed room. Loved the cleanliness, decor and size of the room and bathroom. Also a bonus was admission to the drive-in movie theater next door with our stay. Although we couldn’t stay for the double feature due to the very early flight the next morning. We enjoyed our stay at the Starlight Inn. Definitely a gem.

Pros: The room and bathroom was very clean. Beds were comfortable and there was a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Owner was very helpful when it came to a personal problem we had.

Pros: I stayed for 2 nights with my boyfriend for a little fall weekend away and it was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort was huge and had so many things to do. Our room was the perfect size and a good price, and we had an amazing view of the mountain from our balcony. I would definitely recommend staying here!

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice and clean.
Cons: The parking was poor only because we were at the mercy of the other folks who stayed at the Resort. There would have been plenty of parking if people wouldn't have left such a wide gap between vehicles.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Room size and layout.
Cons: Terrible hdtv setup. Could not get proper picture. Bad pet stay experience. Was not informed to of outrageous pet fee when booking online. And $100 upcharge for a 3 night stay was way out of line and I will contest it since I was not informed of this when

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all very nice, friendly and helpful.Front desk manager, especially went out of her way to make my stay most enjoyable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was well appointed and although we stayed for only two days, it’s ideal for longer stays.
Cons: I was surprised that there are no room safes anywhere in the hotel as confirmed by the front desk. Travelling with passports and would have liked a safe place to keep them. Wrongly assumed this was a standard feature. Alarm clock needed a good dusting but the room was very clean otherwise.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This was an exceptional accommodation. It is a brand new facilities. Great apartment with excellent facilities (kitchen, desk area, sofa and large king size bed). The layout of the room meant that the bed was off to one side, allowing living space also. Swimming pool area was great and the breakfast; opportunity to bbq, do laundry. Helpful staff. Easy parking. Supermarket nearby.
Cons: Location. It is a little out of town but the facilities offered make up for this.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We were upgraded from a King bed studio to a 2 bedroom suite which was great.
5.8 Okay
Cons: Very upset; Booking.com print out said “two full beds” when checking in they said no, king suite was for 1 king bed and a pull out couch! I paid for two beds as I had a 17 year old! Booking described a room I was charged for tonhave my son sleep on a couch after 5 1/2 hour drive! THEN we have construction right outside our window at 7am!!!!! I took photos to show what was outside our window!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast exceeded my expectation and everyone was really nice and helpful. Would stay again.
Cons: Liked everything
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable place to stay in terms of facilities, friendliness of staff and overall cleanliness. Even though it is just north of town- the drive is quick and I prefer a newer property. This place is also great for families as the rooms have space and good breakfast included in price.
Cons: My only complaint was the mattress- it might just be me but my back hurt in the morning- perhaps too soft for my back. Otherwise, that is all.
10.0 Excellent

5.7 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was good. The dinner was ok. The pool and hot tub were nice.
Cons: My husband was sick after the dinner. I have a bruise on my leg from the bed and the hallway has points on the corners and I have a knot and bruise on my arm. The room we had was so loud. The street noise and room noise. The pullout was hard and not comfortable to sleep on for our son. The bed was hard too.

Pros: Large room.
Cons: Couch in room was filthy. Hotel is in need of updating. I had called the hotel ahead of time to see if the pool was large enough for lap swimming and was told that it was. Cons: Would have liked snacks and treats available at night like I heard they do Monday through Thursday. Felt left out and we were paying a premium price. The sitting areas were very small. The front one felt Like I was in the parking area. It would be better if It was more secluded as I was coming from the pool. The back sitting area also was small. I really just wanted a nice place to lay in the sun.

Cons: The only issue was wifi for mobile devices. Not user friendly!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The area.
Cons: Long wait for check in, attitude of some staff, poor food quality, food presented luke warm and burnt!!!! Breakfast service poor, not even told they had a la carte menu as well as buffet, buffet luke warm, missing any form of description as to what food was in tureens!!!! Bar service, could not believe that main hotel building did not stock bottle beer/lagers despite having their own Brewery on site. Overall a very poor experiance from a hotel living on past history. Whole place needs an upgrade and bedrooms and facilities brought into 21st Centuary
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a beautiful location with amazing views. It is a charming place with a very friendly staff. The beds were extremely comfortable!!!
Cons: Most of the rooms are a bit outdated and could use a refresh, but still maintain the charm of the "lodge" theme.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best pancakes & sausage. Loved the Bierhall.
Cons: Further out of town than we thought
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is great! Calm and serene landscapes. Amenities are great; indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, exercise room, sauna, coffee house and beer hall
Cons: Rooms are in desperate need of a microwave. A light where the coffee pot is located; also bed a bit lumpy and pillows were too soft. Maybe have couple of bigger pillows in addition.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Grounds and room were beautiful. There was a charge for everything, which seemed too much for the cost of the room. The only free entertainment was the piano in the lounge
Cons: Every tour of the property cost money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the balcony and the fireworks
Cons: Bathrooms could have better lighting to assist makeup application or perhaps a lighted make up mirror.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Massive property and amenities. Unfortunately it was raining, so we couldn't enjoy everything. Very clean and neat. The Biergarten restaurant was awesome, and we really enjoyed the radish appetizer and chicken schnitzel.
Cons: We booked here because we thought free breakfast was included, and no one explained to us anything about the meal plan. I felt that wasn't truthful, because when I booked it said free breakfast. We didn't find this out until after we got the bill for $20,00/person breakfast buffet. Had we known that, we wouldn't have had the buffet, but gone to the bakery. It would be nice to have "The Sound of Music" playing at various times.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was centralized , excellent food
Cons: Distance out of the town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views were breathtaking. This was the best place I’ve ever stayed.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The scenery is outstanding!
Cons: I know it is in minor detail, but the bathrooms could be updated and a little more roomier. This was our second stay and we will probably book again in the future.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I thought it was just a hotel but it’s village! Very much like other ski resorts like Tremblant. Really nice lodge.
Cons: Everything is ridiculously expensive. A bowl of tomato soup almost 20 bucks. Bed and pillows were awful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, multiple dining options and friendly helpful personnel.
Cons: There was nothing that I found lacking.
5.5 Okay
Pros: The pool was nice and the parking staff were lovely. The room was a good size and quiet.
Cons: The reception staff were rude and unhelpful. The room was not prepared properly (used water in the fridge, items from last guests in the safe, broken lights, alarm not reset etc etc). Our first room had some guests on the balcony outside our room...one of about 4 with adjoined rooms and balconies. Our balcony door did not lock so we asked to move and had to pay $110 just to have a little privacy. Most of the bars and restaurants in the "village " were closed. The hotel has no other amenities near by and is not particularly easy to get somewhere else to have food or drinks. I feel the hotel is not invested in the satisfaction of guests and because they have a captive audience and a good rating ( cant work out how) they have become complacent.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Ski in/Ski out with a ski valet was perfect. The staff was all very friendly and the surrounding are was beautiful.
Cons: Felt like everything on property was overpriced because it could be. It would be nice if we could enjoy more of the facilities for a little less money.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was beautiful. The room had everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was spacious. Loved it all.
Cons: Not a thing!!
4.5 Okay
Pros: The only really thing we liked about this property was the ski in/ski out feature of it. The bathrooms in the rooms were nice and spacious.
Cons: The housekeeping standards were nonexistent. The housekeeping staff were a huge disappointment especially considering the Lodge at Spruce Peak prides itself in being one of the best four star hotels in the state or even country. The staff were very poorly motivated, the room and bathroom were barely cleaned during our stay. When the wifi was not functioning, the front desk had told us that they were going to send someone to check on it but nobody ever came to check on the modem/router in the room. Be prepared for a very average experience at the Lodge at Spruce Peak.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: The armoire in the room would not shut. So, a light remained on all the time including at night which was annoying.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: eve Was amazing friendly staff great location
Cons: Breakfast was poor and so many dogs omg. I love dogs but common leave them home redicules unbelievable.
9.0 Excellent

Cons: no
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and views, comfortable rooms and helpful staff
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with great services at great location
Cons: The rooms do need to have some closets
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful resort in a great location! Our studio was well appointed, especially with the heated tile floors. Nice touch!
Cons: Resort fee was definitely too high, in my opinion. Especially for a stay the first of May, when there wasnt much going. It was obviously a slow time!

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Big room with great staff all around resort. Pool and spa was well laid out with adult only area
Cons: General appearance was worn and dim lighting in room
7.5 Good
Pros: Flannel and Roost restaurants on site were good and very convenient.
Cons: Slow service one morning at Flannel. Overall the service was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean and very comfortable. And, the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs were so fun for our group. A great getaway!
7.0 Good
Cons: First day of cleaning was not good. The rest was fine.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Had to pay extra to use spa! Was staying at hotel
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Gets a little loud there. Thin walls I guess?
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location, so beautifully set in the mountains yet not far from good restauarants. Beautiful pool too, although I didnt use it. I would have like to have some sort of wooded trail out back, for a short hike. Would have been a nice added touch, especially since you're in a wooded area.
Cons: I didnt like that the shower and vanity/mirror are all in one room. Mirror gets steamed up quickly so only one person can be in there at a time. Better when vanity is outide of bathroom or at least somewhat. I suggest you install fans, better than nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities including the rooms, spa & spa offerings, and Vermont setting are exquisite.
Cons: The food at the bar was a little disappointing but the atmosphere is terrific.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spa facilities
Cons: Shuttle service
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location. Though not aware when reservation was made, the resort is strategically located in the midst of the area where most sport activities occur and good restaurants abound. The most we had to travel in our itinerary of different scheduled activities, was under an hour, only because of snow bound roads. Impressive winter scenery, Stowe is a gorgeous place to visit, in spite of the cold spell encountered. Topnotch is a good choice if you want to be near everything the area offers for winter sports and excellent eats.
Cons: Polar vortex, what a weather, worth having experienced, though caution was a must, thanks to the Weather Channel, minute by minute updates kept us safe.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The mountain views
Cons: The Flannel restaurant did not have a friendly staff. Waited 45 minutes for a two scoop ice cream and the place was not busy ! Watch the cook wipe his nose on his hand several times! The pool was very unclean.
7.0 Good
Pros: Bed was very comfortable. Restaurant expensive but very good.
