Pros: Rental bicycles in front entry for client use.
Cons: Room view overlooking roof of adjacent building.
Pros: If you want a hotel that is truely Vermont in downtown Burlington this is the place. It is totally Vermont. Beds are wonderful, the staff is great and the hotel is beautiful.
Located 3.8 mi (6.2 km) from the airport, Hotel Vermont offers a great location, putting you within just a 10-minute walk of Church Street Marketplace and Waterfront Park. Guests can indulge in deep-tissue massages and enjoy local cuisine at Juniper, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a fitness center are other highlights, and rooms offer LCD TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: Booked the Green Mountain Hotel for a recent ski trip for my fiancé. We went with another couple and shared a room. I'm not a skier so I stayed behind while everyone else went to the mountain. This hotel was AWESOME! The room was quiet and so so comfy. The outdoor hot tub was so cool especially since it was about 20 degrees while we were there. The gym/sauna is so clean and so nice. We had brunch on Sunday and drinks at the restaurant. The whole place is sparkling clean and everyone is so so nice!! Location is perfect close to downtown restaurants and shopping.
Cons: A little far from the mountain. Was no big deal for us and they have an awesome free shuttle that will take you straight to the mountain but if you don't feel like dealing with the shuttle or if you don't have a car that's good in the snow to get you the 15-20 drive to the mountain you might want to stay at one of the resorts at the mountain.
Pros: My room was very spacious and clean, had a whirlpool tub, working gas fireplace, and luxury bedding. On-site restaurant was fantastic. Literally steps from other restaurants, cafes, bookstore, arts and gift shops. Keurig coffee machine, small fridge, and robes in room. Wineglasses also appreciated.
Cons: Breakfast was on the pricey side, but portions generous.
Pros: Very nice inn. Staff terrific. Perfect for a visit to Stowe.
Pros: Wonderful stay although short. Would love to stay again someday if we ever get back to Stowe. Would recommend to anyone.
Pros: The quality of rooms, furnishings and food in the dining room
Cons: The dining room was very busy and only one bartender, waited much too long for a simple glass of wine right at the bar with I my 4 people sitting there.

Sterling Ridge Resort is a great choice for a stay in Jeffersonville. Guests can get a morning swim in at the seasonal outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Rooms feature bonuses like kitchens and sofa beds, along with fireplaces and pillowtop beds.
Pros: The hotel itself was great for a short weekend getaway. We enjoyed the heated pool and the hot tub as soon as we arrived. We missed the hot breakfast that was complimentary because we decided to sleep in but I'm sure it would have been great.
Cons: Our room description said full kitchen but it was only (2) hot plates on the counter. The picture showed an oven, our room lacked this feature which wasn't ideal. There is no place to fill an ice bucket either, but the front desk staff grabbed some for us
Pros: We love this hotel! After many disappointing stays in at other area places,we feel in love with this gem! The staff is friendly, the location is great, the room is clean and comfortable. We will be back again & again & again. It's awesome!
Pros: All the amenities..and the pool.
Cons: One day, the housekeeping forgot to do our room...We did not leave any sign at the door.
Pros: The staff friendly. The 2 bed suite is large & comfortable for a family. We prepared dinner in the room. The kitchen is well stocked, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The dishwasher was nice as well. The hotel is located out of the city and is very quiet.
Easy access to major highways and short distance from Burlington
Pros: Spacious, updated, super clean rooms and great included breakfast in the morning.
Remember your swimsuit! Great pool and hot tub.
Pros: The service was outstanding, the best in Burlington, and we've stayed at more than 10 Burlington hotels in the past 3 years. It had a comfortable, well designed, elegant suite with a gorgeous kitchette and free wifi comes standard. Oh, it was quiet too
Cons: Initially, I thought it was out of town, but Winooski is only a mile from UVM and is charming, on the river.
Overall a great value. I plan to stay again.
Pros: I needed to work from the room and the connection speed and reliability was great. It even had a wire connection. The room was clean, the free breakfast was very good. Having the kitchen was a big plus.
Cons: You can hear people from other rooms a bit but everything was always quiet at night and early morning so not a problem.
The suite was big. The kitchen a big surprise.
Pros: The staff was very kind and friendly.
Cons: The picture of the pool made the pool look bigger than it was.
The pool area was very clean as well. Always a plus in my book. The breakfast is one of the best I've experienced. They don't just have cold cereal and make your waffle. They make eggs, bacon, sausge, homefries...you name it but it changes daily. Highly recommended if traveling with children.
Pros: You can't go wrong most of the time with a Marriott. My room had the small kitchen. It was perfect for our needs for 4 days! They made good use of the space in those type of rooms. I would stay there again for sure.
This is not a Saint Bernard. THis is a 10 pound dog that I would never allow to stain or doing any bathroom stuff in the room. I get it, that a lot of people abuse rooms with their pets , but lets be reasonable . I have stayed in this hotel a few times, but after this episode I do not think I will. It is the principle of this.....
Pros: Modern hotel. Good space planning, nice room.
Cons: Yes, I was very shocked that you charge $100.00 for a pet stay. That really put me off I have never paid such an enormous amount ever! When I booked the hotel on line it never mentioned this cost. I have a tiny shiu tzu that is well trained. Th
It's a little far from downtown Burlington, but that was an extremely minor issue. Wouldn't prevent me from staying here. In fact, it's worth the tiny bit of extra distance. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was beautiful, and the pool/laundry/excercise areas were very nice.
Pros: We were given a king suite on the first floor very near the pool and an exit. Perfect! There are several public spaces, including a gas grill and gas fire pit for guest use. Hot breakfast is included and the kitchenette was well stocked with utensils.
Cons: No complaints!

Pros: The beds are amazing. I don't know what linens they use but they were the most beautiful sheets I've ever slept in. Bathrooms are gorgeous. The pool and resort are quite beautiful and I can't wait to come back in the winter, when I think it will be even more fun.
Cons: Our stay felt slightly like an off-season experience. It was a little quiet but more than that, there was only one bath towel in the bathroom, and lots of empty trays were maybe soaps and things should have been. Also, I placed a room service order and received something completely different when the food arrived, turns out we had an old menu from last year. Finally, I opened the fridge to put things into, and there were 2 containers of takeout left in it. It just seemed like they were short staffed or something. I definitely expected Stowe Mountain Lodge to be on point with details like this and they weren't. Finally, upon check in we didn't receive any information regarding amenities, restaurants, etc. not very welcoming at the front desk, which they need to work on otherwise you get the sense they just want to run your credit card and that's about it. Valet and bell service is outstanding however.
Pros: The friendly staff and customer service are second to none. We've stayed in many nice hotels and we've never seen such friendly staff anywhere else. The hotel was wonderful and we'll never stay anywhere else in Stowe!
Pros: We loved the hotel and all the amenities. We had a beautiful room with a good view and enjoyed some down time. All the staff could not have been friendlier, even just passing in the hallways.
Cons: The only disappointing experience I had was that, in this being a leisure trip trip and having the room we did for the money I was looking forward to a little extra relaxing sleeping time in the morning. The main point of the getaway trip was to leave the working world and busy schedule behind to relax. However the room next to ours has young kids that were screaming at 6:00am, and out on the patio being extremely loud, We finally gave in after 40 minutes and realized that we had to get up at 6:40. I thought for the amount of money being spent a night that something like that would have been avoided or more controlled.
With ski-in/ski-out access, Stowe Mountain Lodge - Destination Hotels & Resorts allows you more time for downhill skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. Pros: Great location near Church Street and within walking distance of Central Burlington's attractions.
Cons: Very poor welcome and interaction with staff. As a family member of a Marriott employee, I utilized the Explore Rate discount for family members. My initial greeting was a very cold "I can't believe we're offering that rate tonight" followed by what felt like an interrogation about my relationship to the Marriott employee (my mother). A packet of room keys was tossed across the counter my way with no explanation of where the elevators were, how the parking lot worked, etc. Upon asking, I got a repeated "I just can't believe we're offering that rate tonight". Very very poor way to treat the family members of fellow Marriott associate.
Pros: The staff were absolutely wonderful. We had a terrible experience the evening before, so we switched to the Courtyard. Seeing and listening to what happened, the staff did their best to allow us to take care of our vehicle while we waited for our room, and even accommodated an early check-in because of our needs. Thank you so much! You saved the 4th of July for us!!!
Pros: Loved the location. Close to everything in Burlington.
Cons: Restaurant was awful!!!! Service was slow and it took over an hour to get our breakfast.

Pros: Brand new and always kept clean. We asked to be moved into a bigger room and they were more than happy to accommodate us. The pool and hot tub is clean and nice. Our room was brand new and clean. Breakfast was included and very good. All staff were great. We will be staying here again next year.

Pros: We were very happy with our stay in early October. The location of the hotel is great, just a quick drive to Stowe village. It's also right across the street from the Alchemist brewery and a few restaurants.
We were very happy with the room, it was a little older - but everything was very clean and well taken care of. Each room has a DVD player and you can check out DVDs from their office! They even had new releases :)
We'd definitely recommend anyone staying here if you want to stay at a relaxed, family owned hotel!
Pros: Loved the space of the room and cleanliness of the facilities
Cons: bed could have been more comfortable
Pros: Very clean, good value for the money, friendly and convenient
Cons: Some of the lights and the hair dryer did not work

Pros: My family stayed here on an unexpected overnight. We came up expecting a day trip but the kids ended up too tired to travel home. The room was way bigger than we expected, had a queen bed and pull out.couch. upon checking they let us request to be placed by other families (less worry that our noisey kids would wake others). They provided two clean pack and plays for our kids (both under age two). The breakfast is good. There was a lot of choice for cold things and grab and go. The husband was a bit dissapointed in the lack of hot.items but there were bagela , pancakes, waffles etc. We didn't use the pool but we went to check it out and it was clean and well cared for. Our room was very clean and we really enjoyed it. If we need to stay in the area in the future.we will certainly stay here!

Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. It was my first trip to Vermont & I'm itching to go back already & I know I'll go back to Fairfield Inn. Very relaxing. No complications in the whole process. Traveling can be stressful enough so it's nice when everything goes according to plan.
Cons: The scrambled eggs were a little watery & running. My friend loved it so it's really by preference. All in all great place!

Cons: their was not one thing that i would say that i did not like. everything went well.
Pros: I liked the location
Cons: I did not feel welcome. I was uncomfortable as though I was being watched by people at the front desk. It might have. Been slow because of the late spring but it seemed like we were the only news staying at the lodge.

Pros: What an amazing deal we got for this place. We accidentally ordered the suite apparently and our room was HUGE. The staff was very friendly and it was a low-key environment seemingly insulated from the bustle around it. The complimentary breakfast was pretty standard, and was well-stocked every morning. Our room was kept clean and we overall we loved our stay.
Cons: The only issue I guess would be that there is NO indoor pool on premises. We asked and were told our key would work down at holiday inn to get us into the pool and hot tub though. We never used those facilities anyway but we would've if they were on-premises. Also, the floors of the room are surprisingly cold, thanks to the tile in the bathroom. I really have a hard time even thinking of "things I didn't like" because this place is great!
Pros: Our room spacious with lots of windows. We liked having 2 separate sinks. Very quiet.
Cons: We chose it for the cost. If you wanted to be closer to downtown, you had to pay more for the same comfort.
Pros: The room was beautifull and spacious and clean.
Pros: Room and public areas were excellent. Everything worked. Surpringly nice fitness center. Good breakfast. Very nice staff. Highly recommend!

He recommended a nice hike up to Mount Philo.
Me and my son had a great experience hiking on up.
When I came back to the hotel and thanked the male front desk person for the great recommendation.
He also recommended a good place to eat, right down the road from the hotel called Vermont Tap House. Had a great experience at the restaurant.
Pros: Great location and the restaurant that was in the lobby
Cons: Hot tub wasn't working the whole time I was there
