Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel rooms surrounding were noisy with folks coming and going all night. Interior was dated. Bathroom door was falling apart.
Room was neat and clean. Room directly connected to ours (there was a door connecting the rooms) was being used by a prostitute who played music too loudly and yelled at her John at 2 in the morning to get out if he wasn't paying up front.
The latest cation is good. This hotel is old and in much need of updating. Not anywhere close to the Crowne Plaza standards.
Bed was good and firm. Front desk staff was great! In need of a refurb. Hallways, carpets, bathroom, shower all have seen better days.
I got a great price on the room and I think they definitely improved over the bad reviews I read based on the room I stayed in. The design was great, the bed was clean, no mold, no weird smells, and everything worked. Besides just be relieved to know the room didn't have those problems, I really liked the lcd TV, the abundance of power outlets with usb phone charging ports. More: -Great check out time (12 noon) -Room Service if wanted -Nice Staff -Cool Furniture -Big pool -Restaurant (did not use but it's nice to have) -No microwave -Could have had more towels I was just here for the rooms but if you want a nice lobby I will just say they are currently under going some renovations and you might see some dust and dirt around. I did not mind it since it seems they are trying to repair their reputation. -Parking structure was not awful but could be improved by removing the debris
The rooms were nice & clean. Location was perfect. Breakfast was a nice addition. But truly, the staff was absolutely friendly, professional and just plain awesome. I believe the person at the counter whom impressed us the most was Henna. She absolutely needs to be acknowledged. Aloha from Hawaii! Can't think of anything untoward about the place at all.
Gym awesome pool nice set up
Arrived early and was able to get an express checkin. Nothing.
Soft bed Reserved 2 double beds for our family of 4. On arrival only a king handicapped room was available. We were told we would have a king bed, a pull out sofa, and a roll away. There was no sofa. That was too squishy for 4 people. Can't get a mimosa or Bloody Mary on Sunday morning. The bar in a sold out hotel wasn't open.
Decent bathroom amenities, mostly quiet hotel and seems very well run. Outstanding complete hot and fresh breakfast, delicious coffee, a television I could understand how to work, ample parking, excellent security. The wall behind my headboard of Room 331 started humming like an idling vehicle with varying levels of loudness and intensity at 2 am and continued until 7 am. We overslept because of it. When I mentioned it to the front desk clerk upon chec- out, she was very polite in thanking me for reporting it and seeing to having someone go check it out. I think I should have been offered something more, though, as an appeasement such as a free dessert or beverage or some additional showing that they cared about my lost sleep.
Great staff, very clean and has very good facilities. A bit far from all the attractions.
Hotel itself was great; extremely comfortable bed, very clean, and free parking was a triple plus. Reserved a double bed and was given a single king. They offered a fold up bed to make up for the mistake because there were no double bed rooms available. Last thing I wanted to do was share a bed with a friend on our weekend getaway.
I loved it! So clean and the staff was accommodating and courteous! The breakfast was delicious! The room was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and I didn't want to leave. Fantastic hotel!
Always a very good experience. Always very good service.
The hotel itself didn't have a very pleasant smell on the third floor, it was very disturbing the entire 3-4 days.
Loved the staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were perfect for the amount spent. Very relaxing environment and easy to get to from the airport.
Loved the styling of the room and its amenities
Rooms size was great
Beds were super comfortable. The place was clean. Presented with contemporary features and furnishings. Check in/out was quick and painless. Efforts were made to stay as green as possible.the staff was super helpful and available for anything we needed. Nothing to report here.
It was great! My boyfriend and I were travelling and needed a nice place to stay but didn't want to break the bank. This was a great choice. Such a highly rated hotel, and yet for less than $200 a night. I will definitely come again next time we are back in the area. One of the few downsides was our room placement. It was at the bottom floor and so you could see the cars parked right outside your window. A bit annoying when you're trying to have some privacy, but I just pulled the curtains down. Also our booking was pretty last-minute so I can't complain about where we were put. The other downside was that our lamps were unplugged when we came in, so we were confused as to why the lights weren't working, the floor lamp shade was crooked and bent as well. These are just minor aesthetic downsides however. Our stay was great overall and the style of the hotel in general is very modern and I loved it.
Extremely clean and welcoming! The room service robot made my stay worth it. Everything was great.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We asked the front desk if they could extend our check out time since our dinner reservations were at 6PM. This allowed us to extend our stay and relax by the pool. I would definitely come back to this hotel again because of the great service. Online it states that there are bathrobes and an iPod dock in the room. This is untrue.
The staff is really friendly and I would love to stay there again.
There were several minor maintenance items such as worn painted surfaces and light fixtures that needed attention but not enough to affect my stay which overall was great.
My family has stayed at this location on several occasions. It's a great central location for the bay area. Very relaxing, modern, accommodating and friendly. I always look forward to a weekend at the Aloft:)
The weather That I can't use a prepaid master debit card to pay for hotel.
Great location, beautiful setting, friendly helpful staff.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was convenient and it had all of the amenities I was looking for. No. I was very happy with it and will stay there again.
View A bit dated
the comfort and staff no everything was perfect in out 21 days trip was the best hotel we had
Well located for SFO International airport, but out of any flight paths. Quiet marina location with convenient restaurant 2 mins walk away (Horatios). The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and the complementary breakfast was excellent. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay within 30 mins of SFO or Oakland Airport
The fact that it has a wonderful breakfast and is close to the Bay Breeze race area. The front desk employees were not as friendly as previous visits and the room was not as clean and fresh smelling as previous visits. This was our 3rd stay in this hotel and when we mentioned this the fellow at the front desk just said," oh."
The view from my room and how quiet the location is
Very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast and nice view. They also had a shuttle that was free of charge and could use for your traveling around the city
There was a live band playing in the lounge until 1 am. There was no physical buffer (walls separating the open air of lobby and lounge from where the rooms are located) between our room and the music other than our thin door. The music was deafening inside our room and kept us and our baby awake until it stopped at 1 am. Having to be up at 5:30 the next morning for the purpose of our trip was miserable on 4.5 hours of sleep.
I liked the staff at the hotel. The staff were helpful and accomodating. Never is there an issue while staying at this hotel. The hotel seems old and not all rooms are quite up to date in regards to being a true Doubletree hotel.
No mini refrigerator in the room and no vent in the bathrooms.
The bed was comfy There was black dirt and grime in the shower. They were not apologetic when I called. They said they would send housekeeping. Housekeeping never arrived.
I like the staff at the hotel as well as the accommodations. The hotel in general seems to be a bit on the older side and wasn't as modern as some of the other Double Tree hotels I have stayed at. The facilities need updating
Nice and clean room polite staff No free breakfast
The lobby was awesome but deceiving the rooms were not half as nice. Sheets were dirty and soiled. Room was not properly cleaned or updated. The lobby was awesome but deceiving the rooms were not half as nice. Sheets were dirty and soiled. Room was not properly cleaned or updated.
everything is great !!
I really enjoyed the customer service of all the staff. I have no complaints. Marriot is simply the best and I will be definitely coming back.
We liked: Grand entrance Large heated pool Cleanliness Comfortable bed Nice Decour Amazing sofa Great TV and alarm Spacious bathroom Nice water pressure Had an iron and a hair dryer Coffee maker was a Kouereg Nothing
Rooms were very nice. Newly remodeled. We had a room right behind the elevator which worried me but never heard any noise from it. Nothing negative to report.
Probably the best hotel option in Newark. Highly recommend for short stays. The elevator took awhile.
I loved this hotel. I would recommend it to anyone.
The pots&pans were old, They didnt leave any soap in the shower, the shower was on when we entered our room for the first time, the AC didn't work, the bed had crumbs in it. And the carpet was wet.
Great location for food (Starbucks, TGIF, Chili's, Applebees, iHop, TX Roadhouse, etc) - ALL within walking distance!! Parking!! Be parked by 3pm around the hotel on Friday through Sunday as every single spot gets taken until about 11pm.
Clean room. Standard amenities. "Breakfast" was a choice of coffee/tea, instant oatmeal packets, mini muffins, snack bars. Wifi speeds at a crawl. 7mbps~ downloads/ 2mbps~ upload by ookla.
Beds were comfy, staff was helpful and friendly, location was great (tons of restaurants and shops and places to go within walking distance). Also easy access to the freeway. We were put in a smoking room (not a huge deal, as it was only for a night and we could open the windows to air it out) but the whole floor seemed to be smoking marijuana and we ended up having to stuff wet towels under our door to keep the smoke and smell out. It was also really loud, so keep in mind that the walls are thin.
Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Shower was difficult to work. And I was placed near the elevator and could hear people walking back and forth all night...granted it was a Saturday night.
Nice TV and good prices Bed not as comfy as other 3 1/2 star hotels, pillows not as comfy as Marriott and couldn't offer us good late check out time
Modern, large bedrooms, free parking, excellent staff There can be residual noise in some rooms from Freeway, also from outside a/c units
We asked for extra pillows and they were quickly brought right up to our room.
The gym. Loud bathroom fan kept me from sleeping. Elevators were out of service all. Vomit in front of hotel enterance. Fight broke out Saturday. Fire alarm going off at 1AM Checked out the hotel early because wasn't able to relax.
The hotel location was the best part. It was close to many shopping areas. Noise and the maintenance going on during are stay.
Cookies Need complimentary breakfast
The hotel maintains a high standard for excellence
the unfriendly manager
good room and quality bed/bath freeway noise

Amenities, front desk staff. Housekeeping vacuumed hallways and knocked on doors prior to 8:30 AM. One housekeeper walked in on my wife without knocking because they saw me taking bags to the car. I presume she thought I checked out. Please still knock.
Free breakfast in the morning along with the breakfast hours. Funny smell in the elevator and hallways.
friendly, welcoming staff. after a long day of walking San Francisco, we were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel had a hot tub. much needed. this was a last minute booking as well so I booked the cheapest thing I could find the day of the stay. I took a chance because the review suck. I hope yall see this because it's a wonderful hotel. there is a massive breakfast bar included, the rooms are newly renovated, and there is a lovely hot tub. n/a
the staff was super friendly, helpful, aware of our needs because my husband is handicap, we really appreciate. We love the breakfast it was great, we didn't need to go out. thank you. especially at the lady in the front desk name Adriana S. We know we will be back the Hartfield's We like everything
The Breakfast The bed was not comfortable , too firm
Staff was super friendly and nice. They accommodated an early check in and a late checkout for me. Everything was clean and tidy. They reminded me there would be a fine for smoking in the room but the room already smelled like smoke, as if it had previously been a smoking wing. Cigarette smell in room was not pleasant.
The young man tending the front desk was very courteous and helpful.
close to highway too old and noisy
Pool, clean landscape and breakfast AC in room smelled terrible, noisy doors banging at 6am and building construction
The night staff, Diane, was what made my stay. She was professional, friendly, welcoming and everything you could want in customer service. I will be returning home just because of the treatment she gave me! The only negative was the original room we were in made a horrible noise but it was rectified and we were moved to a different room
Very helpful staff
Location (near a softball tournament venue) and easy access to freeway and restaurants. Price was great. Kids really enjoyed the pool. Grown-ups loved the lounge seating in the courtyard. Breakfast took a very long time and seemed fairly chaotic. The food was good once it came out, but getting a group through in a reasonable time didn't happen. Room air conditioning cycled on/off at night making for a hot/cool, hot/cool night of sleep.
The hotel is located on Hopyard which is one of main roads through Pleasanton. Easy access to restaurants, Starbucks, freeway, etc. We had come down for a weekend to go to the 49'ers game and visit friends. Worked out very well. Rooms are nice and clean and the staff is very accommodating.
The price Nothing
it was a nice room I like the fact it had a balcony I found an earring in one of the drawers which question the cleanliness and I found a dog treat in the room on the floor and I did not bring a dog. the workout facilities were nice and I enjoyed the friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again no questions asked I didn't like the fact that the room was not 100% clean it was 99 percent clean other than that it was a beautiful place to stay very quiet and peaceful
Location off of hwy was good Low cost Friendly staff - brought me a clean pillow b/c the 3 already in the room smelled awful Room was not clean; the bedspread had grease or similar stains They only had smoking rooms when I checked in (at 4pm!) But the room was smelly from more than just past cigarette smoke Sheets were fine, but the mattress was old and uncomfortable Shower was fine, but bathroom floor dirty
Love the location and safeness I felt being there. The staff was kind and helpful. Also, a big plus was that when I walked into the room, it didn't smell like cleaning products or smoke. That really made a big difference to making the room and stay more comfortable. It was really clean when I first walked into the room, too. I liked that they had a blow dryer, a mini fridge, and TV there. I've experienced some hotels that didn't have those basic things, which is a bummer. Overall, it was a good stay at Good Nite Inn, good price for its value, and I would come here again. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and couldn't really sleep well for the nights I stayed there. Also, they didn't resupply us with clean towels or soaps when they cleaned my room.
Neat and clean The coffee and Muffins are of real poor quality. Starting the day with bad stuff sure ruins your day.
basic stuff all there room next to stairs had lot of noise very hard to sleep
quiet , well mantained , value for money
Pretty neat and clean. Quiet place. Sorry for free Wifi service and wider selection of TV channel.
Never got my cash deposit of $100.00 back !
Quiet, Big Bed Toilet dirty, coffee area no equal or liquid cream
Steam Iron, refrigerator inside the room. Free internet was okay. No coffee maker, microwave, newspaper. No breakfast which is a major issue. There is no restaurant within walking distance. Only MacDonalds is there.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull with everything. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful.

I like the designated room options. The breakfast staff where a bit rude
Requested 2-extra pillows at check in and I was told it will be delivered but nothing came. I called at night and it took awhile for a security to come to bring just one small pillow. He says he does not have access to to the supply room.
clean and organized helpful
The location.. The breakfast was nasty! The only good thing was the fresh waffles that you get to make yourself.
The room Front desk clerk

When entering my room I discovered a cockroach on the ceiling. Got a new room 2 lights didn't work and then I had to get a 3rd room. Terrible experience!
The breakfast is hands down, one of the best breakfasts that I have had in the US in a chain hotel. It is a hot breakfast and offers a wide variety of choices. The breakfast alone makes this hotel a great deal. The rooms are lovely. The luggage carts are a bit small. If you are traveling with a family and staying a few days, you might need to take a couple of trips to transport your luggage or crab two carts.
Excellent. This is how a 3 star hotel should be. In fact I would rate it as a 4 star hotel. The room is excellent and spacious. Very neat and clean all around. The room even had a separate living and bedroom areas (although still within the same big room) Nothing.
Almost everything was perfect

Was there for a volleyball tryout and the my grand daughter and I loved it. Would stay there again
room smelt like cigarettes room was wore down
Liked that breakfast was included and the price was right. We were given room on floor where remodeling construction was going on and it was very noisy. Requested room change following day and second room was perfect.
Top notch in almost every way! I brought a sweet gal who some might call picky and she was pleased with the whole experience and found the setting just gorgeous and relaxing. Breakfast was innovative and excellent with very healthy and other options! The jet tub: 1) the water plug was faulty so water emptied from the tub very quickly; 2) no working ability to mix air. The staff let me use another room, but no air mixing there either. They did try...I'm a tubber so this was important to me!
very classy nothing

The room was very spacious and all details were considered. Beautiful hotel with friendly staff, lovely breakfast, and nice bar in the lobby.
We loved The Rose Hotel. Staff was so welcoming. The lobby and rooms were so clean and always smelled wonderful. This hotel was like a home away from home. The hotel room could use a microwave and mini fridge.
Wonderful very cute hotel. Everything was first class and clearly thought out from the breakfast to the room. Every small detail. the GM was so welcoming - we'll definitely be back next year for Thanksgiving or anytime we're in the East Bay.
It was very charming and romantic and breakfast was as nice as can be without cooking facilities. The woman at check-in was not well trained, not personable, not friendly, not helpful. The 'jet tub' did not allow the mixing of air, an essential element to the jet tub experience without which a 'jet tub' is really just a 'water moves around' tub.
Everything was great
The pool was nice, and the staff was friendly. Free wifi I was shocked to pay $250/night for Pleasanton, CA --- maybe that is the going rate for a weeknight there, but I can't see why. The room was small, no free breakfast, no frills at all---- no fridge, the building & it's decor looks to be about 30 years old. No 24 hour room service. I once stayed at Sheraton in San Diego with beautiful rooms & warm cookies at the front desk, and expected a similar experience. A recent trip to the HYATT and I was impressed to have lots of channels on my TV including HBO but Sheraton didn't have too many channels either.
Staff Location (right across from the mall) Exec lounge To be a truly 5 star, you need microwaves & fridges in the room
The free coffee and snacks The very thin walls. Should be sound proof, I had a hard time sleeping because of loud neighbors, people were loud in hallways & the noise from the hallway.
clean, quiet, close to amenities
Great location, staff, cleanliness. It appears to a little tired (scrapes on walls, wood, etc). A little paint and stain should fix it. The club room was not available to me because of my level.the club room shoul available to all levels.
