The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, if I could of taken it home, too bad I couldn't strap it to my roof... Although we didn't get a chance to use the pool, we loved the fact that it was open 24 hours a day. Staff was exceptionally nice and pleasent. Only downfall to this hotel would have to be the location, although it is right off of the highway, there is nothing around it. Literally, just grass. You have to drive a few miles to get into the town.
Clean and friendly. No free breakfast
Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Had a bar/lounge which was convenient. Location view was extremely ugly. Construction in progress? Should not have to pay for breakfast EVER in these times. Too many other hotels that include it. Breakfast should be included with room rate. Place left me cold. No warmth in decor.
Excellent. Comfortable, clean & surprisingly good food in the restaurant
Great facility, great room and great price. I always stay at this hotel when I am in the Roanoke Rapids area.
The staff Jon Antenia and Marquis Were excellent and very helpful. Some of the furniture need to be upgraded
People were very helpful and friendly. The receptionist had a regular customer that got awesome service and they treated me the same! Stayed in a king room and it was really nice and homey. The beds are extremely firm.
The very personal attention of the staff given to us by the hotel staff. Nothing, great stay as always!
Brenda the night manager provided excellent hospitality on checkin We were in a first floor handicap room (I think it was room 183), and the plumbing made noise all night. Sounded like the pipes were loose and they banged in side the wall
Easy check in and check out. Clean and very close to I-95. Many dining options available nearby. Free breakfast!
Nothing special There was an very unpleasant odor in the room. Thr sink in the bathroom did not drain, therefore it was unusable.
Beautiful setting. Within walking distance of several nice restaurants. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Quiet location close to I-95. Would stay again.
This is THE place to stay in Roanoke Rapids. Excellent service, room, and breakfast. Stay away from all others in Roanoke Rapids. Liked everything.
It is a new hotel, not a recycled old unit. Friendly staff. It could use more luggage trolleys.
Nice new hotel. Der Gestapo front desk allows only 3pm check in - even if rooms ready. Check in takes approx 15 min. - way to long for everyone trying for 3pm check in. Mgr ignored the mass of people trying to check in. Pool not open. Give this place time or try Hampton Inn
The staff was very friendly and our room was very clean.
I am sooo picky about where I stay and I picked this hotel from a coupon magazine as we traveled up I-95, I selected it because it was new. It was very nice: clean, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, mini fridge, exceptional for the value. It was right off the expressway with EVERYTHING within a short distance including a starbucks! We walked to Cracker Barrell for dinner so it was convienient. But overall, VERY nice for those picky hotel critics like myself (who get grossed out at dirty hotels!). This is a good one!

Nice room after driving in traffic on 95 south over 12hrs with 2yr old... But any room was nice at that point. We called hotel on our drive down 95s home trying to find a room. The hotel said they had nothing avail, never mentioned checking online, was disappointed regardless how it is all set up was not told about rooms online avail. Quite disgusting really.
All the necessities were covered. No extra hidden charges. A good experience overall. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was a nice touch. Not a luxury stay by any stretch, but comfortable. Rooms are aging a bit, but they are sufficiently clean.
The room seemed clean and the hotel was quiet, away from the major roads and highways. It was conveniently located for my purposes. It seemed a little overpriced and the pillows were uncomfortable.
The gentleman at front desk was friendly and check-in was fast. Room was clean. They had an outside pool that looked clean but the weather was cold anyway. We left very early next morning so didn't take advantage of whatever breakfast they offered. Their so-called fitness room which was in the building next to the pool and across the hotel parking lot, Looked lmore like a storage garage with a couple of dusty machines. No thanks!
Free internet - plenty of restaurants to choose from - easy to find Room barren and cold looking - surrounding area bleak
The room was clean and adequate for our short stay. We wanted an inexpensive place to shower and sleep. We were pleased with the room at the rate we paid. The only problem was the hot water was barely warm. The shower was slightly better than a cold shower.
Room was comfortable & well staged, shower was perfectly accessible, lots of outlets for our charging needs Bed was very bouncey, sort of trampoline like. Every time my husband moved it bounced me around
Clean and comfy hotel. Friendly staff. Fresh free breakfast.
Quiet motel and pet friendly; staff very friendly and courteous. Would stay again. Like any motel the bathroom is a bit gross. I didn't even think about showering.
Clean rooms , soft beds and quiet atmosphere! air conditioning did not work would not stay in room 142 AGAIN!
Location was fine. Grounds had plenty of room to walk a dog. Dirty and scuzzy. Uncomfortable bed. Loud, difficult to adjust temp ventilation. Broken toilet seat.
It was vacant Thighs was NOT a Best Western as Kayak led us to believe. It was a Super 8 Motel. The location was directly on the highway 95, so it was noisy. We were on a ground level room where cars were pulled up in front of the rooms loading and unloading guests and this was NOISY. Not only were guests outside loud, upstairs there was a party where people were smoking weed and flicking cigarettes off their balcony onto the cars parked below, ours included. So I guess the 1st floor was for non-smokers and 2nd was for HEAVY smokers. Disgusting and felt a little seedy. The room was small and the beds were cramped into it with a tube tv and tiny bathroom that had a nasty smell. Due to the fact that it was almost midnight when we checked in and we had already looked for other hotels and all were full we just wanted to sleep at this point. We all got a little rest, fully dressed. There was a complimentary breakfast at the lobby the next morning which included do it yourself waffles, two cereals, two juices, oranges or apples, coffee, grits, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and bagels/biscuits. This was the only part of the stay which was ok. I don't know who previously gave it 2 1/2 stars but they were obviously smoking what the guests in the other rooms had. I wouldn't give it more than 1 star. Only stay there if you have to and ask for a room on the opposite side of 95. Or even better, don't.
Courtist friendly desk person. Beds were like new, shower clean and hot.
