Step into the express elevators, and be whisked to the hotel’s 35th-floor sky lobby, a fitting introduction to the dazzling views of Central Park and Midtown Manhattan you’ll find throughout. Works by glass artist Dale Chihuly sparkle in the lobby, while paintings by Valerio Adami adorn the lobby lounge. Ginkgo-leaf accents, antique Mandarin silk robes, and bamboo floors bring an Asian aesthetic to this sky-high hotel.

Separate men’s and women’s areas include vitality pools and amethyst crystal steam rooms. The 6,000-square-foot fitness center provides fruit-infused water, cardio and strength equipment, and locker rooms with saunas. The indoor pool is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows, flooding the room with natural daylight. Babysitting or childcare is available for a surcharge.
At Asiate, the hotel’s French-Japanese fusion restaurant, enjoy a 6-course tasting menu beneath the glass tree-branch sculpture that hangs from the ceiling. 2 stylish bars, both adjacent to the lobby, serve cocktails. Wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for a surcharge.
Guestrooms boast more head-turning views of Central Park, the Hudson River, and downtown Manhattan. Binoculars (provided in guestrooms) let you take a closer look at the iconic neighborhood outside. Flat-panel TVs have DVD players and surround-sound systems, and wireless Internet access is available (surcharge). After a turndown service that includes chocolates and Fiji water, you’ll sleep beneath custom-designed Italian Fili D’oro Egyptian-cotton linens. Marble bathrooms have flat-panel TVs, telephones, bathrobes, and slippers, as well as soaking tubs, many of which offer views of the Hudson River. Spacious corner suites include separate bedrooms and living rooms. Pets are welcome.
Pros: We always stay at the W when we come to town to visit our daughter. The hotel is clean, the staff is attentive and the beds are comfortable. Our room always has a spectacular view of the NYC skyline. It's a short walk to so many of Hoboken's great restaurants. We look forward to returning.
Pros: Nice modern feel and friendly, attentive staff. Comfortable bed and nice late (12pm) check out.
Cons: Too much upselling in the room: fridge is full of items to purchase as well as half the counter and all over (water on bedside tables and in bathroom, etc.). It was too in your face and too expensive.
Room overlooking the club was very noisy until 3am closing.
Water pressure in the shower was awful.
Valet was expensive and it took them over 20min to locate my vehicle.
Cons: The hallway was smelly. There were too many areas on the desk to buy this or that candy, etc. The desk itself was heavily marred. Eh!! Wouldn't probably go back there.
Pros: Clean room and 24 hour room service.
Cons: Being charged for internet access at a high-end hotel is ridiculous. It's almost like the higher the cost is the more these companies think they can rip you off by charging for additional services (or thing in the mini-bar) as opposed to trying to provide the most value for that money.
Pros: Great location walkable to path, waterfront, Main Street etc.
Cons: Asked at front desk if there was a coffee shop to get a cup of tea, told I could go to the restaurant to buy tea or coffee. Meanwhile when we came down Sunday morning to go out for breakfast there was complimentary tea/coffee being served in the bar. Nobody let us know that. Lighting in our room was pretty poor.
Pros: I loved the view and the friendly staff
Cons: How expensive the room was even compared to hotels in the city and the other boros
Pros: The sky line view
Pros: We only stayed for one night but it was amazing. The view of the Hudson and the city from our room was beautiful. The room itself was great! And it's walking distance to amazing resturants and bars. I am definitely going go be staying here again.
Pros: Awesome guest service costumer service
Cons: Loud family with crying child in the early morning waking us up everyday of our stay
Pros: Staff very professional and helpful. Bed very comfortable The Valet staff was OUTSTANDING, they couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast very good.
Cons: The room did not have enough light. Could not see read etc. no t.v. Channel line up in our room. Lighting in the bar seating area near the elevators was also not sufficient to read etc. No matter how I tried the water in the bathroom ,by the restaurant just came out in a trickle, if it even came out at all. I was mad as hell because I could not clean my hands properly. I had to run up to my room to wash My hands. I know you are trying to GO GREEN, but give me a break with the price we paid I should be provided with ample hot water and light. Help us to keep clean and not spread germs please

Pros: This hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast was far better than we expected. Our stay was comfortable, and we wish all our hotel stays could be this good.
Cons: There was nothing negative about our stay.
Cons: Really bad hotel. Room didnt even come with a coffee machine u had to go downstairs the desk to get it? are you kidding me the breakfast is absolutely nothing i eneded up going out to get my own food. The room was not clean it was well kept.

Pros: Very clean and most of the employees were great specially de general manager. The person that takes care of the breakfast was great too
Cons: Difficult access
Pros: The service from the Manager, and two ladies from the breakfast station.
Cons: Entrance way to parking lot from high way was sharp curve and narrow. Outside view from the room was not
Pros: Very clean, and nice clean rooms.
Cons: Right off of the highway. A little difficult to get out of.
Pros: Service was great
Cons: Room was little small, but I liked it.
Cons: Inexperienced front desk person. Lobby needs updating. Dangerous entrance on interstate off ramp. Unappetizing breakfast.
Pros: Hotel was very clean and breakfast was wonderful
Cons: Location very tricky coming off expressway
Pros: Conveniently located off Rte 95 just over the GW Bridge. Clean and comfortable.
Cons: Disappointed in free breakfast. Brown bananas and old apples, bad scrambled eggs, stale english muffins. Great coffee, good yogurt selection, good muffin selection.

Our hotel features a meeting room which can host up to 15 people in a classroom setting and up to 20 people in banquet style. We also offer a courtesy local shuttle service within a 5-mile radius.
Pros: Small boutique hotel across from the galloping hill golf course where we attended a wedding. The hotel charged me 2x twice for two of the rooms booked. Horrible experience with unprofessional staff.
Pros: Very clean. Very nice modern rooms. Great value for the money. My only negative was that it was a very narrow path between bed and desk but it wasn't a big deal.
Pros: I loved this hotel. Very clean, nice staff at front desk, perfect location and I loved the decor.
Cons: The only problem I had while staying here was every morning housekeeping woke me up with their very loud conversations in the hallways. There was even some shouting.
Pros: Great staff: when I was stranded after a bus mishap they went the extra mile to get a shuttle to me.
Very accessible from Newark airport.
Cons: Remodel has front lobby and breakfast area torn up, giving even more of an industrial feel than the hotel already had.
Pros: Our double queen room was updated , clean , and very comfortable for us . Staff was friendly and supportive when the printer wasn't able to print my boarding pass . Location was ideal !
Cons: Lobby tables were rickety.
Pros: Very nice room! They did a very good job on the remodeling of this hotel. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.
Cons: Would like to see a better breakfast selection. No protein. Everything was carbs and sugar. Did a very nice job of setting it up though. Also, outside in the parking lot, someone had just dumped their trash in the parking lot. Not the hotel's fault, but it is a shame that this kind of element would be staying here.

Pros: I was only there one night but I was very comfortable. When I needed questions answered the staff was cheerful and very helpful. Breakfast was great too.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Close to NJ Transit and PATH into NYC. Great diner nearby. Great breakfast in the lobby.
Cons: Only flaw was that it is on a flight path for planes taking off and leaving, so occasionally you hear a plane, but just once in a while. And not overly loud
Pros: We chose Hampton Riverwalk for its location, and it truly worked out exactly, and really, even better, than we expected! LOVED having the shuttle service from the airport, then each day to and from the Penn Station! Your drivers were Great, and made our nervousness about maneuvering through the Rapid Transit in New Jersey/New York, a good experience. Thank you!
Cons: Hotel was full when we arrived, so instead of double Queen beds they gave us King bed. When I asked for rollaway bed, they had none as well, so I had to sleep on a chair.
In the morning I spoke to manager who told me to open a HHonors account so that he can give me some points. I tried to contact him multiple times, but no response.
Nice way to treat your long time customers! Will go elsewhere next time.

Pros: The staff were all very nice, and extremely helpful. In addition, the beds were very nice and firm.
Cons: The breakfast was really revolting. In addition, the AC doesn't work in a lot of the rooms. I had to switch rooms, and got a box fan for my room.
Pros: Friendly staff and super clean environment.
Pros: Curtesy van was great. Picked me up at linden airport and shuttled me to the linden train station several times in 2 day. Always on time. Rooms were clean and complementary breakfast was good. I will stay here again.
Pros: Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is close to airport, food and shopping.
Cons: The front desk lied and said late check out was not available because all the rooms were booked for the next day. There were rooms available to book via Kayak as well as the Hampton Inn website. My flight was not until 3:45. I had to sit at the airport for hours.
Pros: Excellent staff, comfortable beds, and a clean facility
Cons: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION ! I should have checked this one out on the maps before booking, it is next to what has to be one of the busiest intersections in NJ, heavy traffic kept me up Little to no sleep at all. The airport is the least of your worries when there is a drag strip of an intersection out front.
Pros: Staff was top notch, very helpful and courteous, very comfortable quiet air conditioned rooms.
Cons: Ice machine on top floor was broke down. No one had a note saying it was out of service.
op blanket was lumpy from stuffing separating from cloth, kind of annoying.

Pros: Rooftop terrace, food service, and comfortable rooms.
Cons: Bit overpriced. We have had comparable or better stays, for less money.
Cons: Definitely STAY AWAY from that place!!
I came at freezy night, the room temperature was at 76 and didn't go higher. I called operator, he sent "engineer" which couldn't do anything he said that's the highest, i called operator and said it's not acceptable, he said the they can't do nothing the whole hotel is set at this temperature (really??). I said show me another room as u sound now ridiculous. Then the same(!) "engineer" came and.. oh miracle (!) he fixed it. I said all of u guys are such LIARS!! Just made me SO mad and irritated for no reason.
WAY overpriced hotel for the way it is,
HORRIBLE "costumer service" from most of the stuff here,
no room delivery after 11:30pm
No parking space,
Spent almost $300/night for the room doesn't even have tube.
It's not a hotel, it's bullshit!.
Pros: We liked everything about the hotel.
The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the location was on Broadway, just one short block from 7th Avenue.
I would stay again. It was a very good experience.
Cons: The only thing I questioned (but was not a big deal) was the bathroom was small - couldn't fit 2 people in at once. The shower pressure was too good. Meaning that it hurt the body when the hand held was used. The rain shower was good but if you didn't want to wet your hair, you had to use the hand held which in turn was so powerful that it hurt the body. It didn't bother me that much but it was the only thing that was a bit uncomfortable.
Pros: It was a perfect hotel
Pros: The view from the room was perfect, if only I had stayed on New Years! Front row seats to the ball drop! Very clean and luxurious
Cons: Some hidden fees & deposit was larger then website said it would be
Cons: 1. Due to computer glitch, our reservation was "lost", took staff an hour to reinstate it.
2. Refrigerator in the room did not have a single bottle of water. I had to take medication without any water.
3. Ice machine on the floor was broken, no ice whatsoever.
4. Room had coffee machine, but no tea/coffee and water in the room.
Cons: No drinking water available in the room and ice machine was out of order. The coffee in the restaurant tasted like it was burnt.
Pros: Great location, value for money, loved the room, the bar and terrace were very cool. Great vibe and value overall.
Cons: Even with a hotel stamp, parking lot down the street was still almost $50 overnight. Wish hotel credit would have been worth more.
Pros: The location is great but they made little effort in making guests comfortable.
Cons: There was a huge crowd for an outdoor party on the nightclub deck. Our room shook all night until about THEEE AM. You couldn't hear the tv in the room and forget sleeping. It was miserable.
Pros: There was a problem with our bathroom that was not addressed appropriately on the night it was reported. The manager the following morning was profusely apologetic and provided complimentary breakfast for our party, in addition to addressing the problem.
Pros: Fun, modern sci-fi inspired design, excellent food, bar and restaurant were great. Staff were mostly courteous and attentive. Room service was quick. Shower was excellent :)
Cons: Wi-fi was terrible. Even after I paid the 14.95 for "high-speed" we had constant connection problems. On my third night the Novotel wireless network didn't even show up on list of available networks and was seemingly down for the remainder of the night. Not as big a deal on a leisure trip, but if I had been there for business I would have been screwed.
The sink in the bathroom was poorly designed. Every time I turned on the faucet, water would splash up and out of the bowl and get everything on the counter wet. Had to keep water on lo-flow to avoid this.
With a premium central Manhattan location and iconic sweeping views of Times Square, the Novotel New York Times Square hotel is situated in close proximity to the Broadway Theater district, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, World-class shopping, and 'Must-See' Landmarks. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable experience in 4-star contemporary comfort, whether your stay is for business or leisure.
Cons: It is affordable and that's about it. Not much service.
Pros: Great place the only thing would like to see is better air freshening in the hallways -- predominantly Asian guests on extended stays who do a lot of cooking and the strong odor of the foods can be overwhelming in hallway and on elevators but not in rooms. This is why I give it a three for cleanliness for public spaces. Rooms are excellent quiet and modern with updated renovation in 2014.

Cons: Pool was over crowded. No towels at pool to dry off. Had to air dry and drip the whole way back to the room. Oops. Also hot tub was very dirty and almost green. When sitting in it I couldn't even see my waist the water was so unclear.,
Also check out time was different depending what you read or who told you. We checked out at noon because that's what it said on the back of the door m.
Pros: Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. Liked having Red Robin connection. Would go back.
Cons: People were too loud in the hallway. Children running in the hallway. Our toilet had a seat that kept slipping when sat on. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. Liked having Red Robin connection. Would go back.
Pros: The cleanliness
Cons: Staff attitude and people skills sucked
Pros: We had issues with our room and the daytime staff was very helpful. They moved us to a new room, which had an issue too, but Elly did everything she could to make it right.
Cons: Overnight staff was rude.
Pros: The room was recently refurbished and mostly nice
Cons: Bathroom door was damaged, whole room smelled of paint, the whole building was under construction which was loud. The workers smoked in the hallway. I caught the receptionist asleep twice. Once when I was trying to check out around 6AM. She actually had headphones in so I had to scream to wake her up so that I could check out. The pool was not accessible due to the construction. The breakfast was waffles, bagels, and yogurt. I was just really not pleased with this stay.
Pros: Location. Easy on and off rt3
Cons: Was a non smoking room I thought, smelled of smoke
Black mold on sink rim and shower head.
Pros: Room comfortable, staff courteous and helpful, location great
Cons: Only one elevator working, room a little noisy (room heater and pool mechanicals I think), teenagers running in the hallway, talking loudly and slamming doors, housekeeping staff threw away my bed socks that I left in the bed.

Pros: The gentle man at the front desk was the absolute sweetest and most helpful person i've ever had the pleasure of working with. I stay at many hotels, and none the less I know that any Marriot hotel i've stayed at is built to work at its finest, but this gentleman went above and beyond to assist me and make sure we were comfortable. He helped me not only get a clean room quickly where I could put away my things and freshen up (since I had arrived much earlier than check in and had an event I needed to get to) but and when incurring a problem (When I thought I lost my ID and Debit Card) was helpful in helping me find it. It a shame on my part that with my terrible memory, I cannot remember his name. He was a caucasian male, in his late 20s promoting some football event, I believe, with a green shirt. My sister, A friend and I were attending a concert later that evening so we only booked the hotel for a one night stay in NJ, but with personnel like him and the cleanliness and professionalism of both the lobby as well as our hotel room itself, I felt like I should've stayed longer had I not already booked the rest of trip at the Ritz in Manhattan. Very satisfied. Definitely will be coming back again.
Pros: Surprisingly being next to a hockey stadium on a game night it was very quiet. We specifically asked for the quietest side of the hotel not facing the Broad Road. That might has to do with the quietness, and the floor was not so busy. The room was generally clean except the shower floor I can see black dirt residue. The front desk was curteous.
Cons: We didn't like that there was no parking or rather we needed to pay an additional $21! Tax was quite high already on top of the rate. I wish the parking could have been covered or a bit less than 21.
Cons: The hotel is very hard to get to. There is no space to pull up to check in. The parking garage is extremely expensive, and when I arrived the staff had such thick accents I couldn't understand anything they were saying.
Pros: the bathroom was perfect, the bed and the comforter were very comfortable, and the tv was a great size and quality
Cons: the food downstairs was way too expensive and there wasnt any kind of complimentary breakfast.
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. Joe's crab shack is right next door as well.
Cons: The area is not very good. Went for a walk in the afternoon and felt very uncomfortable. Had to pay for parking as well.

Pros: I messaged ahead of time for some extra towels and i did receive some extra towels before i even made it to the room. that was a plus.
Over all a quite stay peaceful stay, some kids were running around outside but that's what kids do(it gave the place a family vibe).
Cons: Made a call to get the tv fixed since it wasn't working when we got there.
I was notified to wait 20 mins for some one to come fix it.
Left the room for lunch and 2 hours later, the tv was still the same.
(phone desk person knew exactly was i was talking about, since he was fast to offer a solution and need no explanation or details)

Pros: The room was amazing and the bar inside was convenient
Cons: No vending machines on the 3rd floor
Pros: Nice spacious rooms with living area in every room. Rooms are also renovated. Good breakfast
Pros: I liked the nice sitting area in our room.
Cons: Pretty sad attempt at breakfast.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and personable but also very professional. Each individual that I interacted with went out of their way to make you feel welcome. I travel quite a bit and have very rarely experienced such a comprehensively positive staff.
The hotel lobby was open and attractive and the room was quite clean and spacious (two doubles with a sofa area). Oh yeah, good cookies for sale in the lobby! Yes, even good cookies!
Cons: The only criticism is that the bathroom compartment was small. That wasn't a big deal because the toilet and tub were in the separate compartment with the sink in the large, open bedroom. Accessibility wasn't really a concern for me.
Paramus is known as the shopping capital of NJ and is home to four of NJ's finest shopping malls where discerning guests can choose where they wish to shop, dine or play. Easily accessible from all major highways, Paramus is close to office parks. Complimentary a.m. Kitchen Skillet, featuring freshly prepared breakfast sandwiches, waffles, French toast, pancakes and steel cut oatmeal, available daily.
Cons: Parking and additional charges for incidentals after paying $----. for the room
Pros: I didn't get to enjoy the hotel as I checked in late and checked out early the next morning. From what I saw, the hotel look wonderful. I would like to come back to really experience the all of the amenities.
Cons: Not for the time I spent there. Oh wait, the water leaked out of the shower stall when we showered.
Cons: Yes my fridge broke, and all our food got ruined. Since we only Eat kosher we had food for three days. And the hotel wouldn't compensate us
Pros: The strongest asset of this hotel is the amenities including the indoor and outdoor pool, the tennis court and the hot tub. The location is great in terms of being close to Short Hills Mall
Cons: While the common areas of the hotel are very nice, the rooms definitely could use a bit of a redo to bring them out of the late 1980s. Hotel access is also a bit difficult from the highway.
Pros: The staff was attentive and provided optimal customer service. The shuttle service was really convenient.. We enjoyed the room service but wish there were more options. Overall we enjoyed the time spent at the hotel....................................
Cons: I have only two very small grievances which was the shuttle service was not available on two different occasions, its a great service! Lastly would be the very limited food options for the entire hotel stay. --------------------------------------------
Pros: The indoor pool n fitness center n the bed was comfortable
Cons: Absolutely nothing everything was good
Cons: No coffee shop
Pros: Friendly staff. Accessible to New York City by car. There is a spa attached. Free parking. Free Internet. Nice selection of late night snacks.
Pros: I liked the vertical pole that was located in the shower. It came in handy when my girlfriend needed something to hold on to when we were having fun. The bed was very comfortabke in comparison to other hotels we have been to such as Hyatt and Holiday Inn
Cons: Wouldve been nice if they had complimentary breakfast but no big deal
The staff was not helpful. Not only did I not get the room I booked but they didn't even comp me or offer anything extra after my booking was not what I bought.
Cons: The staff was not helpful and I bought the room and booked a king bed but was given a double bed room. Not happy.
Pros: I liked that the suite was spacious and separated from the bedroom by doors.
Pros: Great service from the front desk, housekeeping and drivers

Pros: The room was HUGE, even with two beds in it. The usable desk/workspace pretty much ran the full length of the window wall, allowing me to spread out some presentations I was working on among the conference materials I had collected. Spacious bathroom...that then goes to the negative category. They do have a white noise machine in the room, which came in handy. I was able to check in an hour early, so that was nice after 14 hours of travel. Validated parking for the underground garage was a plus, too.
Cons: There was a lot of disappointment. I was on the 11th floor, right near the elevator. While I didn't really hear too many people in the hallway (mostly cleaning staff), the late night ruckus from the street could be heard well into 3 or 4 AM (where the white noise machine comes in handy). Every emergency vehicle going by could be heard loud and clear. To put it mildly, the windows are not sound proof by any means.
The bathroom is beyond dated. Old tub, clunky showerhead that sprays everywhere except on you, and shower curtains that leave a gap on one side or the other because they are not wide enough. LOUD flush on the toilet lets everyone on your floor know you just took a poo.
My first night I realized that I was missing a mini-fridge, which the front desk though was odd (I think they thought I was lying). They put in a request, but I never saw anyone, so I had to make another request the next afternoon while I was attending a conference. It was there when I came back that evening.
The lighting is a miss-match of fluorescent, LED, and halogen bulbs. Some dim properly, others are all or nothing, making it difficult to find a happy medium once the sun goes down.
For the price, I might have expected a little more, especially with a Hyatt Regency name on the door in downtown Morristown. I think that a Hyatt House would have been cleaner and more elegant of a stay, which is sad.
I would stay here again, but only if my conference is there.
Pros: Staff, parking validation
Cons: Room key was glitchy- didn't always work on first try

Pros: The staff was awesome. Very friendly and very helpful, even when they were super busy! We had to lock something up behind the desk, had to ask for directions, etc, during our 5-night stay, and they were always very friendly. Really like the location across the street from the bus stop into Times Square, and the hot breakfast!
Cons: More biscuits and gravy for breakfast, please!
Pros: Location is good. Bus stop is near hotel and Manhattan too (15 minutes). Children not pay for bus on weekend.
Cons: Breakfast: egg is like artificial.
Pros: One of the more affordable in comparison to the others nearby. Overall, a good option.
Cons: bathrooms were a bit outdated.

Cons: Old hotel. The bathroom was horrible, there was not even a soap holder inside the shower. There was no place to put the soap and shampoos while you bathe.
Pros: Free breakfast
Pros: Cleanliness and courtesy!
Pros: Pool and location
Pros: Embassy Suites always has a great breakfast, and this hotel was no exception. All of the staff was helpful. The sleeper sofa was pretty comfortable.
Cons: The rooms are a little dated. I don't like that the in room coffee pots make at most two cups at a time, and you're only provided enough coffee for two regular cups and one decaf.
Pros: Just the restaurant food was good and the services, but they open to late
Cons: Bad facilities, One elevator was broken, the door room not working good , staff front desk good, but some staff around the hotel no
Pros: Loved the staff and breakfast.
Cons: The manager's hr. was weak. You could only get one drink and you were limited to what it was and the choices of snacks was pitiful.
Pros: Staff was very attentive and friendly. Bus stop to NYC nearby. Ample, covered, free parking.
Cons: Rooms are dated.
Cons: Many deficiencies in their service supports. I have already wrote a letter to Hilton. From breakfast to happy hours and internet speed , and cleanness of furniture. I was not impressed with the hotel(after many times/years and I believe I was overcharged.
Pros: location,nothing else
Cons: Shabby. No upgrading since 1985(?). Wall paper peeling off. furniture scuffed. Caulk in tub bad. Sofa soiled. carpet worn and dirty. Not very clean all around. Pass key system not reliable. Breakfast hot food cold. Sorry we stayed here
Pros: This hotel has a great location. The staff are excellent.
Cons: Hotel breakfast items on steam table were cold.
Pros: the two room suite option
Cons: It was actually pretty good. Worn, but clean.

Pros: good location next to Times Square; breakfast included; king bed
Cons: room was small; noisy - little noise insulation inside; one of two elevators was not working.
Pros: Not roomy, but adequate accommodations with very helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Reasonably clean.
Pros: Room was nice and also free breakfast
Cons: Lights went out for hours we had to eat breakfast in the dark with our phone light. Also I was billed higher at the hotel for my room. I used the book now pay later and the hotel charged me more than what website told me the total would be.
Pros: This hotel is in a great location.
Pros: Not much good to say... The bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size for New York. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end...
Cons: Requested early check in on a high floor the day before I arrived, but received an email at the time I was planning to check in that I could not do so until after 3. When I did check in, I was given the 3rd floor right on the street. The car horns and street noise kept me up into the morning. I was on a non-smoking floor, but the cigarette smell was unbelievably thick. It was obvious they were allowing smoking in the rooms.
One word for the owners... bleach. The bed sheets were stained and obviously old. They should probably be replaced.
Breakfast was horrible. Other than the bagels, there were dry (maybe day old?) muffins, 1 pancake which had obviously been previously frozen, and the juices were basically water. They had actually positioned buckets next to the juice machines so you could throw out the juice rather than drink it.
We checked our bags to go to a show. When we came back to retrieve them, we asked for a cab. The bellman went out front to hail us a cab, but had no luck. He told us he would be right back, and went back in the hotel. After 10 minutes of standing out in the cold waiting, he never came back. When I went in to the front desk, I asked them if they could call a cab. They told me their concierge was gone for the day, so I had to go flag one down on my own! Never have I been to a hotel that could not get me a ride to the station.
The Hotel at Times Square puts you in a great location, within just a 10-minute walk of Broadway and Rockefeller Center. You can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge, and free continental breakfast is available daily between 6:30 AM and 10 AM. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Pros: Great location, if you can tolerate Times Square. Stayed in a king corner room on the 16th floor. Wife and I loved the bed, the view, and the bathroom. Subway doesn't get any closer, entrance is immediately outside lobby door. Gym was spacious, if you need that. Didn't try the bar/restaurant, just too many other choices in Manhattan. For that matter, nice bathroom and comfy bed is all we needed, as we weren't looking to waste time sitting in the hotel.
Cons: Again, location is great as long as you want to be very close to Times Square and all that comes with it. Noise of the city is audible on the 16th floor, but wasn't a problem for either of us sleeping through it. Wifi has a fee, but you can avoid it if you sign up for IHC membership.
Pros: Clean room, comfortable bed, nice walk in shower (no tub). Subway entrance right outside.
Cons: WiFi wasn't free unless you sign up to rewards club.
Pros: Nice hotel friendly people
Cons: The parking people they are affiliated with are ripoff scam artists! DO NOT PARK THERE
Pros: for the buffet breakfast they write down 18% tip???
Pros: Rooms were clean, beds very comfortable, maid service timely, toiletries excellent, service excellent, fitness room spacious, and outstanding location - one block from Times Square, next door to subway stop to SoHo and 2 block from subway going uptown, near great restaurants a block away, and a block or two from most of the major theaters . We have now stayed here three times in the past 4 years - not willing to risk staying somewhere else
Cons: Nothing not to like, except it can be pricey depending on the day of the week you stay ($300-$400/night), but it is worth it.

Pros: Central location in NYC, you could open the windows, no noise in the hallways, friendly staff. Very reasonably priced.
Cons: The carpet in the room was clean but but worn out in some spots. Should be replaced in the near future.
Cons: No breakfast, elevator was too slow
Pros: Very nice hotel, close to times square and affordable. Would stay there again.
