Very nice agent, Carrie. There was an issue with the gasoline option which we didn’t know until drop-off in Holyoke and the agent there fixed it immediately.

Pros:

POOR customer service and response time to calls

Cons:

We had a problem because my husband was exposed and contracted Corvid the whole experience was handled as poorly as posible and lewft us with a huge bill when we informed them immediately. We won't be using Enterprise ever again

I reserved and paid for an EV ready to 530pm. My flight was delayed so I didn’t make it to the pick up counter until 600pm. My EV was not ready, it was charging, I was told it would be another 10-15 minutes. Again waiting at the counter and continuing to check in, by 7pm I had to leave as I was late for my scheduled plans. So I asked again when the counter attendant talked to his manager and I heard them say they only had a Tesla and someone else reserved a Tesla and no other ev’s were available. I heard that and said I’ll take any car at this point, so they gave me a gas powered Buick and off I went. They couldn’t make any other adjustments or changes since I prepaid for the vehicle. Frustrating pick up operation.

The electric car was nice but could only charge it 30 min at a time. The heater didn’t work when it was below a certain temperature outside. Not a good idea to rent electric cars in cold climates. We returned the car and exchanged it. The second car wasn’t as nice. But it worked. We were happy in the end to have a normal car but missed the heated seats and steering wheel.

Somehow after getting my plane tickets and hotel, my car rental was for a week after my trip. I had to pay $100 to cancel a week before the scheduled rental. That's extortion!

I used my Apple Credit card. It changed card number every month. You should know that. Hertz personel wanted same card number. I already paid but my card number changed. It took 1 hour. I had to call costumer service and change my credit card number. If you don’t accept Apple Credit card, I could use another card. You didn’t!

They tried to scam us out of $2500. They said we were on the do not rent list due to prior car rental damage. The Alamo dept. that handles do not rent issues was closed. When we did get a hold of that department they took us off the do not rent list. No explanation of why or how we even got on the list. Scam. Had to rent with a different company. Never use Alamo, national or enterprise again.

After landing, I went to the Alamo line and waited for an hour and a half in line until it was my turn. It was not reasonable. They had one worker behind the counter and he would go behind the door for about 10 minutes and then return. This happened continuously. I will never book with Alamo again in Portland

A rolling empty beer can in the back, film of tobacco smoke making the rear window impossible to see through, same for the front windshield. Apparently the manager wanted to issue some refund on my credit card upon the return, but that never happened. Plenty of apologies though...
