5.0 Okay
Pros: Location, amenities
Cons: After reading the new gold standard years ago I was so excited to finally have my first Ritz Carlton experience. Unfortunately it was one of my worst experiences at a hotel ever. Upon checking in staff was anything but top notch. Everyone seemed overwhelmed at and irritated by the heavy traffic on the holiday weekend. The room wasn’t clean. We asked to move but they did not accommodate. We decided to go to dinner to hopefully change the path of our trip but Highball restaurant food was not good at all. We ordered the fish dish and they were out of the vegetarian side and were not told and were given a sausage patty substitute without even being asked if we eat pork (we do not). We still didn’t let this tarnish our plans to enjoy the pool. Upon returning to the room we gave our daughter a bath and when I picked up a towel to dry her off a roach came flying out. I called the front desk immediately to please just have the now dead cockroach removed from the room. After two hours and three more phone calls the roach was finally removed. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone. Apparently the Ritz customer service is gone.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Ive been in Orlando a couple of times, inside Disney, in Condos , but this time I want to try the Ritz flavour and don’t dissapoint at all, great pool , restaurantes , etc
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Club lounge was outstanding!
Cons: Room wasn't ready, but they more than made up for that. Treated us great.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: I love the art work and the gardens. The staff is great. Very well located.
6.3 Good
Pros: The scent when you enter the lobby is overwhelming. My sinuses went through the ceiling every time we entered. Why have a coffee server in the room if it isn’t t replenished Sitting in lounge trying to enjoy a cocktail when all the furniture around me was moved outside for a special event. Needless to say I left!
Cons: See above

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love the location of this hotel the most. Its a very stylish boutique hotel with people there that know you and care for you. The room was super comfortable.
Cons: The room is a little dark. It could use better lighting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We decided to have breakfast at their Hamilton dining area since the in-room menu wasn't as extensive. Great decision. Breakfast was several steps up from typical hotel offerings, delicious, and with unique offerings. The Alfond's art collection is amazing and well worth a docent tour. The hotel hosts seasonal if not more frequent jazz and other music venues outside as they feature wine, craft beer, and other tastings. Plus, it's an easy walk to events at Rollins or shopping and dining on Park Ave.
Cons: It was our first time stay and because the room safe is in the front room of our accommodations, we left without checking the safe. Fortunately, staff found our left items and the manager contacted us to retrieve them. A minor inconvenience and handled very professionally.
7.0 Good
Pros: Swimming pool.
Cons: There was no one at the front desk for checking in for a long time. The staff was busying doing "banking" and we waited there with our children eager to go to the room, change and get dinner. The lady at the front desk informed us that we did NOT need reservations. Guess what happend? We arrived at the restaurant at 9:45PM, the hostess asked if we had reservations!? :-{ It looked like they didn't want kids around. We went out to find a restaurant under pouring rain at 10:15PM with 2 little ones. Second night, we got to our room at 10:05pm after a long day at Disney. The in-room service was closed. We had to bag for HELP, since the children were starving. The person agreed to deliver flat bread pizzas. He made loud and clear he was doing us a favor, a big favor. He had committments that evening and was letting us know he wasn't happy about it. We all said thank you. The next day we went to the swimming pool. At 6:00pm promptly, the bartender close down and left the building. Have a nice day! So, after all, we got a real ride for our money!

Pros: I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. However, I can give you ONE NAME that made me feel this way: Corthee, at the front desk. I have never encountered such a kind, friendly, and exceptional employee at a hotel. From the moment I stepped up to the counter, to the moment I turned in my key for checkout, she went out of her way to do above and beyond the norm to be considerate and generous. Thank you, Corthee! You make that Hampton Inn exceptional!

Pros: The pool area

Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are amazing, the staff was courteous, and the location was perfectly suited for my vacationing destinations. Thank you for a great experience!
Cons: The menu prices at A Land Remembered was a bit high for the petite portion sizes. Still, that was the best fillet I had. Maybe rethink the Gator Drool beer name; it's too good to have that name.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The value of what you get at the property was disappointing. Having to pay such high prices after paying so much for a room was ridiculous. The room was basically the quality of what you get at a minimum priced hotel not a resort. Didn’t realize leaving money on the table was meant for a tip for housekeeping. I left $6 to complete a load of laundry later that day, it was gone when we returned. That’s another issue, $3.75 for laundry is ridiculous. Also, powdered coffee creamer is so low budget.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The accommodations, good bed, nice view to the golf course, excellent pillows
Cons: The air conditioning in the room wasn’t the best but still good, don’t get me wrong, just need to give it some maintenance I guess.

Pros: The staff were very friendly. Hotel Is well located for the parks. 1 night stay gave extra early hour on checkin day. And check out day & 2 days express rides at Universal, making for a much more pleasant universal experience. The most comfortable night sleep I have had all vacation. I would defiantly recommend a stay at this hotel. $36 + tax is what we paid for 2 days parking.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel and location. Will only stay here in the future.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hotel has the wow factor! We booked for one night because it worked out cheaper than getting Universal Express unlimited passes for 4 of us for two days. It was so convenient! Parking was straightforward. We arrived early, got our passes that double up to become room keys once a room is allocated later in the day. Left our case securely in the luggage room then headed off to the parks. Super easy and the Express passes were just great! Ate at Jake's and the quality of the food was excellent (worth every penny) and the beer was delicious! On day of departure we checked out early, left our case again and headed for the park because the Express passes are valid for two days! This so far has been the highlight of our vacation. Oh, and the beds were super comfy and staff were accommodating and friendly.
Cons: Would have expected free bottled water in the room instead of having to pay over $7 for a bottle! The room keys didn't work when we got to our room but the staff quickly rectified this.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location for visiting Universal Studios. We only used the water shuttle once due to the fact that we could walk to the park entrance in less than 10 minutes. The pool was great, especially the beach balls!!
Cons: Our hotel room required us to walk quite a ways to the pool and fitness facilities, but it wasn't anything which had a negative influence on our experience at the hotel. The place was wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location to Universal, Islands of Adventure and CityWalk. Super helpful staff and great atmosphere. The 3 restaurants offer good food and good selections for kids. Water taxi is a great way to get to the parks each day but the hotel is only about an 8 minute walk along the paths. Express pass being included in the stay is WELL worth it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: LOCATION, EXPRESS PASS INCLUDED, CONVENIENT CAR RENTAL RIGHT FROM HOTEL, GREAT STAFF
Cons: BREAKFAST WAS VERY EXPENSIVE. WOULD LIKE A SIMPLE CONTINENTAL AVAILABLE IN PRICE.
9.5 Excellent
Cons: Would expect to have coffee readily available to guests. Disappointing to pay $5 for a cup of coffee on the way to the boats.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location to parks was great with water taxi and express passes for parks meant we managed to do the rides in both parks In 1 day
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool was a blast for the kids. Food out at the pool was amazing!

Pros: The express passes were well worth the price of hotel! The hotel was beautiful!

Guests are thus able to easily go from one attraction to the next without having to inconvenience themselves with extensive traveling. This interactive experience allows guests to blur the boundary between cinema and reality with a heart-pumping, full throttle experience. There is also Universal Studio’s Cinematic Celebration, which provides an awe-inspiring experience filled with music, light and water, incorporating it all into a memorable cinematic experience. 9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was great
Cons: don't like that they hit your card for way more than you spend and now how long does it take to get back
5.8 Okay
Pros: The hall
Cons: The price for what was on offer. Over $2000 for 4 nights stay and they tried to charge for the parking. Just one free yoga class per room. Taxes charged for breakfast that should have been included in our price!!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The various restaurants and the pool. Outside space was beautiful. The rooms were clean and the Bathroom was very specious.
Cons: The check in process. We parked our vehicle because we weren’t sure if our room was ready. Unfortunately, the bellmen couldn’t go down to the parking lot to retrieve our bags, nor could we take the luggage carrier. My husband had to walk in 100 degree weather to get the vehicle and drive it to the check in area. Parking is horrible, if you don’t valet. Then we were told we cut the line by one of the guys guarding the valet, even though we were parking on our own and had already checked in. You can’t leave the resort without having issues with parking...poor Also, the pool areas are beautiful BUT there has to be a better way to get a lounge chair. People were saving seats and it was difficult to enjoy ourselves at the pool. The second day, my husband had to wake up at 8:30a just to put towels there to save our own seats....horrible Maybe, have people sign out their towels when they are done. This way it’s easier to get a lounge chair.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything! The hotel is beautiful inside and out. Extremely clean with wonderfully polite staff. The pool and landscaping are the crown jewel of this property.
Cons: Resort fee is a rip off if you have the option do not buy it. Parking fee is excessive but area is very safe and gated. Wish we could have had more separation from all the convention attendees. Pool issued floats are one size and many of the men and women could not use them comfortably. Disappointed the hotel pool staff wear Nike shirts. We know it is political but we can't see Nike without knowing they are pro profit and anti-America.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing. Anything you could think of. Bar service was great around the pool. Lifeguards notified you promptly if there was lightning in the area.
Cons: The room service cleanup could have been better. We had to ask twice for room service to pick up trays on our floor from another room. Had been there for over 24 hrs.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Food and swim amenities spot on.
Cons: Way too overpriced leaves this place in a not first choice category
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool area was amazing.
Cons: Very long walk to fitness center. My husband can't walk long distances, but he does work out everyday. He uses a recumbent bike to get his heart rate up. A golf cart ride would be a nice addition.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The bed was great.
Cons: They need more security in the parking lots. Drunk guy was attacking everyone that drove by. All we received as an apology from the hotel was candy for the kids. Plus the parking fee is $30 which makes no sense if it is not safe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Great for families, kids game room, water rope course is terrific. Several food choices to eat at. Great pool area.
Cons: Hotel fee and parking fee is silly. Several great hotels in Orlando charge one or the other, which is completely acceptable. Charging both is not ok.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice pools and activities.
Cons: There were not enough Pool chairs. Super crowed. Also needs more pools for Kids and Adults who did not want to go into the lazy pool. Most people were standing in the way.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amenities and dining options. Beautiful property inside and out!
Cons: Alcoholic drinks over-priced.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Pools and lazy rivers cleans nice rooms and eating at Primo and The kitchen

It was a dying cockroach and granted I was on the first floor but still, gross. That was the ONLY thing that i didn't like about my stay. Everything else was wonderful.

I loved how beautiful the lobby was and the seating area. The Breakfast was incredibly delicious and I loved the different varieties of food.
Cons: So because there was a total of 5 of us and only my husband & I slept on the private king size bedroom, I didn’t like that everyone else had to go through our bedroom to use the bathroom. Also, the pool area doesn’t have enough seating area. There’s about 4 layout chairs and the rest is regular chairs.

Pros: excellent location for early morning flights out.
Cons: Faster service at the pool. Rethink the waitstaff station receiving and communicating the orders. This should happen directly in the kitchen with its own staff of servers.

The area is home to Wine Riffs, Velvet Unplugged, the Universal Catwalk, and the Blue Man Group.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and the location of the hotel was great. The free boat ride to Universal parks was a big plus. There is also rickshaws to take you to the park (you need to tip them) in case the boats are not running due to lightning strikes.
Cons: Went to the Kitchen restaurant twice. The first time for breakfast where the staff at the receiving counter was not too friendly. The second time we went for dinner and had a wonderful experience. They even had a magician going from table to table performing tricks.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff at the club level
Cons: Pulled money ($4k) off debit card and put it on the room key for purchasing gifts/ entertainment.... Still waiting on remaining balance to be refunded.
1.0 Poor
Cons: The price and stars did not match the terrible view. A standard view room should not mean the view of a tin roof with wires sticking out or of a parking lot not for --- per night. If that is the case then you should be clear of that in your description
8.3 Excellent
Cons: I had to ask a few times for the extra bed to be put in the room. Eventually arrived at 22.30 so quite late
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the location and the rock atmosphere. it was like being at a non stop party. we even enjoyed the store, where we bought nice things for us and as presents. the pool staff was amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The people that work there were top notch!
Cons: Loved everything. The only thing I would suggest is that the music that is played in the lobby be turned down a smidge. This hotel really is great!
6.3 Good
Pros: The fact it was close to universal
Cons: Room was a tad dated and needed a regub
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Check in was very fast, you can arrive very early in your day of check in and enjoy the park all day. Fast pass was an excellent inclusion.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is spectacular to access the parks. With the hotel card you can go through the “express line” in the parks without extra costs. Food is good and in massive quantities (which personally isn’t my style) but good anyway. The gym is super well equipped and the pool area good.
Cons: The rooms are a little noisy and if you have a noisy neighbor can be very annoying.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Loved the lobby! Pool looked nice but we didn’t get chance to swim. The decor in the vanity area was cool.
Cons: Two double beds which is not good with two kids who hate sharing. One bed had no bedside tables. Nothing in fridge. Awful view. V expensive for a standard room. On check in they kept saying they’d text us room details but, despite explaining I could only use WiFi over here, it didn’t sink in and we received no code. At the end of our day we had to go back to lobby to find out where to sleep and at that point were given badges etc that could have helped in our first day. Our bags weren’t in our room either so we had to wait for the bell hop to get ready for bed which was a bit of a downer by that stage of the day when you NEED that cuddly duck in your luggage!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Live band in lobby
Cons: Slide not being open
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had breakfast in the Club room which is on the Club floor level - great for a quick bite to eat and bottled water before hitting the parks! At other times of the day you could use the Club room for a snack and drinks which was great. The pool bar and cafe was excellent. All the staff we encountered were really helpful and friendly. The location is just fantastic - being able to walk to the park was so convenient.
Cons: Whilst initially it was fun to have very loud music blaring everywhere (it is the Hard Rock after all!) a little respite from it would have been great such as in the adults-only bar.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent in every respect
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and courteous. We were also able to utilize the pool at the Hilton which was great for my children.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Good pancakes, comfy beds, great staff
Cons: First 2 rooms were dirty, had to repack and move, pool was full of debris and dead ants!!!! The Hotel was NOT worth the money. Everything was way over priced.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and close to Disney. Great to be able to enjoy facilities at the Hilton next door as well.
Cons: Can’t think of anything!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: excellent
Cons: We stayed at this resort previously. I noticed a different attitude in general with the staff. I don't believe they are as happy or motivated to "wow" the patrons.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spa access
6.3 Good
Pros: Luxurious property
Cons: cookie cutter service. Just because you have a luxury property does not make it a luxury hotel. Plus food beverage, ridiculously priced even for the wealthy. Would much rather stay at four seasons. PS carpet in the room stinks.... And try replacing dirty cups instead of just taking them,
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel room Bathroom....
Cons: Double charged everything on my credit card. Had to call for them to fix. And request a bill. Everything was also overpriced for it's worth.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The service is excellent
Cons: Bad WiFi
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, shiny, clean. Very good service. Restaurant little pricey but delicious. Nice location for Disney visitors. Very comfortable and clean bedding.
Cons: Pool is really small and I would not call it clean. Customers can visit the Hilton pool next door which is claimed to be Nr.1, but honestly did not see anything in that league. Also could not get any service neither at Hilton nor at Waldorf. May be timing was not good. I would not call the pools clean either despite the fact that the weather was very stormy and it can be difficult to keep the pools free from all the leaves, dirt etc. But, in the end this is top rated hotel which should find ways to do it I believe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: excellent service. The concierge took down my cell and was daily messaging for any service requirements.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Beds are very comfortable
Cons: Should not be a Waldorf as not adhering to any Waldorf standards. Extremely sloppy service

Overview Reviews
Universal's Aventura Hotel gives guests the kind of architectural experience that seems straight from the future. Towering high above the flat Orlando landscape, this hotel’s shiny, reflective glass exterior makes it an instant landmark. The flavor of the decor inside is similarly impressive in its simplicity and style. Rooms are simply designed with a modern touch. The hotel enjoys floor to ceiling windows, and some of them even afford guests the ability to see the nearby theme parks. Plenty of light streams in through the windows, giving guests the chance to enjoy the shine of the Orlando sun in the comfort of their rooms. Also inside the rooms guests will find free Wi-Fi, mini fridges and coffee makers. The family suites even provide guests with the chance to add another sleeping setup thanks to the sofa beds that pull out and accommodate another guest. The hotel has a subtle theme of thoughtful consideration with not just the sofa beds but other helpful additions that make life easier for guests. There is a free shuttle to the theme parks that will get guests to and from what is likely the main reason they came to the area in the first place. Young people are adequately cared for, as well, due to the kids’ section of the outdoor pool. All ages can enjoy the gym, and the game room is sure to pack in fun as well. Add to all of this the fine dining options, and it’s clear to see why so many people flock to Universal’s Aventura Hotel. They focus on putting guests’ needs first, leaving them free to enjoy exploring the theme parks nearby and the rest of all Orlando has to offer.

6.3 Good
Pros: Location for access to parks
Cons: They had a power failure on the day we arrived, we couldn’t check in until 8pm and only then because I insisted on speaking to the manager. The reception staff told you to come back in 20 minutes, when they had gone off shift and the next members of staff came up with another delay tactics. If they told the truth we would have gone off and done something else rather than waiting around!
6.8 Good
Cons: Bed linen what appeared to be blood stains called for fresh linen. After waiting over an hour had passed midnight so I walked to guest services to pickup fresh linen to make up . Very disappointed.when it was very obvious that that the bed was made for new guest this way
6.0 Good
Pros: Good location and free parking.
Cons: The room was not to the standard you would expect in a 4 star hotel. It was small, even the King bed seemed more of an oversized queen bed. It was okay but the rooms in many other 4 star hotels are a lot nicer in Orlando
