Pros: The lobby transports you to New York with its style and layout. The rooms are well appointed and have great views of New England vistas.
I visit Providence three time a year, How have I never stayed here before?
Cons: Bathroom was a bit dark, but not a deal breaker.
Pros: I loved the quick check-in process, the hospitality of the staff, and the cleanliness of the room.
Cons: The beds are the old coil spring type, and my back gave me some trouble the next morning.

Pros: Very friendly staff, and a nice laid back atmosphere at this historic inn.
Pros: It is in a beautifully restored house with handsomely decorated rooms
Cons: The hotel is next to a very busy Interstate.
Pros: Great Staff, facility, bedroom & dining!I'd like to come when the weather isn't so frigid to enjoy abit more in the area.
Cons: Ouch....cold bathroom floor! (if they renovate, install a warm-tiles heat underlay mat).Possibly getting the 'handouts' they give when checking in, via my eMail before I arrive - so I've got a little insight before arrival? Still, a joy to attend!
Pros: Cleanliness, staff was wonderful (helpful, courteous, friendly) off-street parking, proximity to all attractions
Cons: I couldn't stay longer
I would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Location very convenient, lots of character (much better than a plastic hotel), delicious hot breakfast, and very friendly staff.
Cons: Water pressure in the bathroom was pretty poor.
highly recommend. will stay there again if overnighting in Providence.
Pros: the upgraded large king room excellent breakfast in a beautiful dining room friendliness of all staff encountered cozy public reading room 'staffed' with homemade brownies
Cons: may not have cared for a 'basement' room which is where we were originally booked, presumably because of the lower Priceline price? If Priceline gets the best price at the hotel, I want to know if it is for the room with least ambience.
Pros: Thoroughly enjoyable atmosphere. Splendid.
The Christopher Dodge House is located in Providence, Rhode Island. Our beautiful 14 room bed and breakfast is a historic 3 story brick Italianate mansion built in 1858. Conveniently located within walking distance of the local shops, restaurants and universities.
Pros: It is close to Wrentham Outlets and Joe's Restaurant. The front desk staff were great and were able to accommodate our connecting rooms request. The breakfast had been upgraded with many more choices and extras. Rooms had microwaves and fridges.
Pros: Easily accessible - off the beaten path. There are restaurants nearby. Breakfast is adequate.
Cons: We stay here every year so there were no surprises. I was taken aback by the fact that housekeeping(?) tapped on our door and attempted to enter at 7:40 a.m. when checkout isn't until 11:00!!!
It was perfect for our needs to pop into Boston for an event and miss the hustling traffic in the morning
Pros: The staff working to serve and help people in the morning at breakfast... Inviting, courteous , genuine , great reps for company
Cons: The front desk people were busy on the computer and didn't take time to acknowledge our presence at desk...would be nice to receive a nod and 'be w you in a moment'....

Cons: No safe or fridge in room.
Pros: Close to the highway easy in and out. Large eating area plenty of tables.
Cons: Pool is small and was not open on time.
Staff billed me for the room even though I already paid. Housekeeping keot knocking on my door after I asked them several times for privacy. For what I paid I should've just stayed at the hilton.
Pros: Great breakfast, clean comfortable room.
Cons: When I checked in I showed my receipt from priceline showing that my room was paid in full. I said please don't charge my card. The next morning I had a bill for XXX and my card was charged. The funny thing is, priceline charged me XXX for the roo

Each room is equipped with a full kitchen and separate areas for relaxing, working and sleeping. Free services abound, like Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, daily hot breakfast buffet, The Mix (Mon-Wed) and grocery shopping. 24-hour support includes a mini-mart for food, snacks and beverages, a business center & fitness center.
Pros: The location of the hotel was great with lots of bars, restaurants and event locals close by.
Cons: Hotel was a bit below its normal price point in my opinion. Our suite was very nice but the shower sucked. I'm glad that we got a promotional/discount rate.
Pros: We loved everything. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable and ideally located. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I can't say enough. I will definitely stay here again.
Cons: Everything was ideal.
Pros: We booked this hotel because we were in town for one night, visiting the Waterfire festival. The location was great, close walking distance to the festival, downtown shopping, and restaurants.
Cons: The hotel staff/policies were incredibly unhelpful. We were informed when we checked in that if we had called and asked for the military/ government rate we would of paid less than 50% of what we were charged. Of course, there was nothing they could do about it now. What they didn't tell us at check in was that the deluxe king room we had reserved and paid twice what we should of for, was unavailable. They happily checked us in and sent us up to what I can only assume is the worst room in this 4 star hotel. The glass shelf in the bathroom was broken, there was a large stain on the carpet, the door was so crooked on the hinges there were cracks you could easily see through at the top and bottom. But worst of all, it was a QUEEN sized bed, not KING. Shouldn't be the end of the world, but paying double what we were supposed to and then not even getting what we payed for- not really okay. Assuming they gave us the wrong room unintentionally, we gathered our things and went back to check in, where we were told that A: they can't change our room because the hotel is completely booked. B: it was in the fine print of "whatever website" we booked on that the room wasn't guaranteed. C: there was no offer of a rate reduction or other forms of compensation. Well, after reading all the terms and conditions of the website, and finding nothing mentioning the room not being guaranteed, we called the website, who did everything in their power to help, but we ended up cancelling the hotel reservation (through the website, not the hotel) for a full refund. No complaints about the website, they even went so far as to call all the other 4 star hotels in the area trying to get us a transfer. The hotel on the other hand, is a buisness I hope never to meet again.
Pros: This is a very attractive hotel. The people are very nice. The rooms are attractive with comfortable beds. There is a bar downstairs with excellent music and no cover. The food at breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The booking never got through to the front desk, but they honored the price on my confirmation email.
Pros: Quiet street in noisy city
Cons: Stability ball in gym was deflated, so minor.
Pros: Clean well appointed room. Nice bathroom. K cup coffee and tea. Great location. Good staff and valley.
Cons: Some minor street noise on the alley side
Pros: The staff were great, not only attentive but cheerful and genuinely friendly, enjoyed chatting with us. Only a few blocks to walks along the river. Nice big room, really soft bed. We stopped here on the way home from Maine to Brooklyn, NY, and probably will again next year.
Cons: The coffee.
Pros: Excellent location.
Helpful, friendly staff.
We had a wonderful time.
Pros: The bed and the pillows were very comfortable.
Cons: The staff was very unorganized and were very easy to get confused. The valet parking was a joke.
Pros: It was a beautiful hotel with pleasant, helpful staff.
The room was elegant and had everything we needed.
It was centrally located. Near both great restaurants and the Providence Performing Arts Center where we caught a show.
Cons: The front desk staff was a little slow when checking out. Other than that . . .it was all great.
Pros: very clean, nice and efficient! Thanks!
Pros: Charming boutique hotel.
First-rate front desk staff—friendly and helpful.
Ideal location on a quiet side street but close to downtown's shops and restaurants.

Cons: Fitness center equipment could use upgrade
Pros: Liked the suite. Decor and size and comfy bed
Cons: cleaning ladies kept walking in early am without knocking
Pros: Quiet, friendly, nice location off the interstate
Cons: Yes, their small bar was open only on weeknights. We stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night and it would have been nice to go down to the bar and have a drink, and perhaps watch some football, with other folks.
Pros: location and clenliness
Cons: tub didn't drain. Had a cheesey window a/c unit that was loud and prevented me from closing the blinds, sun burning through the window in the morning
Pros: People there are friendly and try to help whenever you need it. breakfast there is the best in the hotel chains in the area and was included.
Cons: the ac unit in room was loud and annoying at times when trying to sleep
Pros: Great hotel! Clean rooms were amazing and well equipped with everything you could ever need. Full beautiful kitchen room felt like home! Pool was nice the grounds were beautiful. Right off the highway and close to everything food shopping gas.
Cons: It was a bit pricey but you definitely get what you pay for!
Pros: The 1 bdrm suite we stayed at was great. There was a sleepsofa, TV and nice kithen area. The bdrm was separate and had a TV also. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, lots of options. Pool was clean and heated. Would definitely stay again. Worth the price.
Pros: Beautiful & comfortable room with great beds!
Pros: Like the bedroom suite separation and roominess
Cons: Found the arrangement of furniture (sectional) in living room area awkward and uncomfortable.
Pros: Nice room. Good breakfast
Cons: Bar was closed ( I'm guessing because there was a youth sports group there) disappointing to those of us not involved. They had a very large party involving alcohol in the hotel lobby

Pros: The reception staff was accommodating and, refreshingly, genuine interested in being of service and help to all guests.
Cons: The hot tub didn't work :-(
Pros: I liked how close the Hotel was to many fun bars and exciting things to see.
Cons: I didn't like the staff, the hair that was all over my room and not having any food available 24hr.
Pros: We loved the location and consistency in Omni hotels. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very nice restaurants and close to mall with high end stores which I loved. Comfy beds and my 2 kids under 2 loved it as well.
Cons: Only occasional chair in room needed to be changed or cleaned as stains on cream shows up unfortunately.
Pros: Beds were extremely comfortable
Cons: Breakfast in room was too expensive
Pros: stayed two nights at the hotel for my 21st and Valentine's Day. the hotel is right in downtown providence. easy to walk to places. also enjoyed that the hotel was connected to the providence place mall. my boyfriend and I stayed in a premier room so we had beautiful views of downtown.
Cons: We paid extra to get a corner room which we thought would have been bigger than it was. The room next to us had a young child who spent the night screaming from 4am-noon, so we didn't get much sleep the first night. Wifi was expensive as well as parking. Also from our room you could hear the elevator every time it came up and down past our floor which was annoying at times. we purchased a movie one night to watch and the movie skipped. the front desk did not charge us for it, but you would think for paying $18 for a movie that the quality would have been better
Pros: Great location. Easy walking to many attractions.
Pros: The hotel is right next to downtown and connected to the mall and convention center.
Cons: The Internet was too expensive and parking was a bit pricey as well.
Pros: This hotel is in the heart of downtown Providence and it's connected to the Providence Place Mall as well as the Dunkin Donuts Convention Center.
Cons: Self parking is $18 per day and valet parking is $28 per day. Valet has come and go priveleges whereas self parking does not. WiFi is also pricey if you would like a decent connection. It came in at $15 per day.
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well appointed. Pool area was fun and we enjoyed the hot tub.
Cons: I felt a little nickel and dimed: the parking was expensive and there weren't other options in the area. It added a lot of cost to what seemed to be, initially, a great deal.
Pros: Actually booked the room from my iPhone while driving up 95, a half hour before arrival. Great deal through Kayak. Although it was very late, the staff were pleasant and polite. The room was perfect for my high school senior son and myself.
Pros: It's clean and was a large room.
Cons: We checked in at 11 pm after a long drive excited to get to bed. We were kept up for hours when what sounded like a trash compactor was on all night. It was SO LOUD and we live in a city so we are used to noise. I just can't believe they put us in that room and that they charge people money to stay in a room that is next to some sort of loud machine.

Guestrooms. Amenities featured in guestrooms include air conditioning, coffee/tea makers, and compact refrigerators. Guestrooms have televisions with pay movies. Bathrooms feature bathrobes and hair dryers.
Cons: The bathroom was dirty and had mold all over the shower. The room was rather run down.
Cons: Had pack and play as a crib with no mattress for our son definitely not good for toddlers or infants. The only good thing was the breakfast that you had to pay for and for the price of the room there should be some sort of complimentary breakfast. I could keep going but I was not satisfied at all.

Cons: No pool or hot tub and the fitness center is too small.
Pros: The hotel was a close walk to the mall and the park as well as a nice stroll to other local restaurants. We got a nice view of the city and the halls were quiet for sleeping in.
Cons: It cost $26 a day to park in their parking lot. And my sister in law got a fold out couch for her to sleep on and the mattress had red-ish makeup all over it and it was very uncomfortable.
Pros: Friendly staff and great location. Near a train station that can get you to Boston. Parking garage had many open stalls making it convenient to park.
Cons: Price to leave car overnight felt high. The vanity was crowded for two guests.

Cons: No bathtub
Pros: nice staff, complimentary wi-fi and breakfast, cookies and lemonade in the afternoon
Cons: no - it was great!
Pros: complementary breakfast; staff was helpful; large shower
Cons: would like a frig and microwave in my room
Pros: The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine.
Cons: First I had to pay $28 to valet park!It was $20 to park in a nearby lot(even at only 7:30pm)too creepy parking there and walk back. Why was valet more? The attendant laughed Room was freezing -60degrees, tv unplugged and no shower curtain. Never again!
Pros: Beautiful hotel! Location fit our needs. Extremely clean hotel and room.
Cons: We didn't realize we would be charged an additional $28 for parking. Guest should be asked if they want to be in a incentive program and informed about the parking cost. Guest should be told there's a breakfast and what time breakfast is available.
Pros: The location and the room were great.
Cons: Pulled up to the hotel and there was a lot of confusion, no one asked to help with our bags so we took a cart and did it ourselves. There appeared to be several attends but they were preoccupied.
Pros: It is very close to school we visited.
Pros: Helpful staff.
Cons: Only one elevator for at least twelve floors.
Pros: Very Helpful and Friendly staff
Pros: Breakfast was decent. They had cold and hot cereal, breads and pastries, waffles, and eggs and a protein that seemed to vary daily.
Cons: The room was downright frigid. The thermostat said 68 deg F, but it couldn't have been more than 60. Cold air was blowing through the vent and there was no way to adjust it. Furthermore, very noisy late into the night because of neighboring club.
Pros: It was VERY secure. The elevator could only be worked by guests and only to their assigned floor.
Cons: Parking was not convenient.
Pros: The room was comfortable and the staff was courteous and helpful.
Cons: The breakfast was worse than average. Also, when we arrived it was too cold to go back out to eat so the desk staffer gave me a handful of restaurant menus. The restaurant we chose took more than an hour to deliver! After they said it would be 30 minutes.

Pros: Easy to check in - there was a group checking in at one of the desks. Two attendants were helping them. Pros: Everything! This place is just amazing!
Cons: Nothing. THIS place IS the best hotel

Pros: Enjoyed the bars downstairs at the hotel.
Cons: The staff was pretty pretentious.
Cons: Bed squeeked.

The elevator is an old fashioned "lift".
Young people running the reception have wonderful, polite personalities!
WiFi works well.
Rooms have wood floors, nice decor, very clean !
I do like the hotel, and sincerely enjoyed my stay. I actually extended it two additional days!
Cons: You wouldn't bring young children, I say, because of the lift.

Pros: Clean and modern at a great price
Pros: Overall an excellent stay, nice towels, bedding. Everything clean and bright. HVAC worked fine.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit on the skimpy side.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and the room was better than I expected.
Pros: Good location. Clean and modern style. Everything is well organized. Service is good too.
Cons: The toilet clogged. The pluming need to improve. The free breakfast is just so so. Clearly it's pre cooked food. Not delicious. I didn't found a waffle machine. I was expecting a fresh made waffle in the morning. Coffe is good. Banana is old.
Pros: Very pleasant staff. Nice place to stay
Pros: Clean hotel, good location, and decent breakfast.
Cons: Hot tub jets barely work. Overcrowded pool due to Birthday parties they allow here which makes a romantic stay impossible. Kids running around and take over the pool area. Pool hours should be open longer, for people to use when kids aren't crowding it.
Pros: The cleanliness and very relaxing, quiet. Hot tub was big enough for 4 or more people.
Pros: Price was great...
Pros: Friendly, clean, comfortable.
Pros: Clean, nice decor. Wireless connection. Staff helped with directions and map to restaurant. And I am Gene from NAUGATUCK CT
Cons: Minor The shower curtain is in two layers of the same color. Didn't notice so both layers were put in the tub and got wet. Change one to a contrasting colro

Pros: Hotel seemed to be newly remodeled. Decor in both lobby and rooms was very attractive.
Cons: Lots of hair from previous guests in room made me question the overall cleanliness.

Cons: Empty vending machines
Loose fixtures in bathroom
Pros: Nice place. Great location. Really small rooms. Do NOT get any of the rooms with a room number that ends in 29!!
Pros: Nice stay as usual
Cons: Housekeeping interrupting us 3 times in the morning claiming they weren't notified by the desk about our late checkout for 1pm therefore interrupting our extra needed rest
Pros: Suite with 2 kings and living area good decor and comfort
Pros: Central Providence. Five to ten minute walk to area colleges, civic center, numerous restaurants, boutique and mall shopping. All rooms recently and tastefully renovated. Starbucks on site. Excellent staff. Immediately surrounded by historic buildings. Peregrine falcons nest on nearby building (the "superman building").
Cons: Expensive ($28) valet parking. No overnight parking on any of city's streets.
Pros: Room was huge (stayed in junior suite alone), very clean, staff polite and attentive, especially house car/valet folks. Proximity to everything was perfect.
Cons: I wish I could stayed more than one night!
Pros: Loved this hotel. We got a junior suite (for a great price). Had views of Brown/RISD, the Capitol, etc.
Pros: Almost everything about the Biltmore is awesome. It's a beautiful hotel. It's got a ton of charm. The rooms are spectacular. The beds are comfortable. The staff is amazing. The location is central and perfect. It's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in including various Four Seasons etc.
I could wax lyrical for hours... but the net-net is that every time I'm in Providence, I'll be staying at the Biltmore.
Cons: The quality of the room service breakfast was lacking. Poor food quality. No jam for the toast or syrup for the pancakes and the coffee was lame.
Pros: The Biltmore Hotel is a reasonable place to consider for a visit to Providence. It is an older hotel with a historic background and there is a certain charm to staying at such a place in comparison to the typical chain. That said, one must make a few accommodations in this regard. Some things may strike one as dated be it the size of the bathroom, or the trim, or the non-self-closing door (which I actually liked). The skim coat in my shower was cracked..so what?. There is no pool. There is a full-service Starbucks adjoining the lobby. I grew up staying at older hotels with my grandmother. I find them charming. The place is clean and the staff are kind. The bed was very comfortable though rather high off the ground compared to most. The furnishings were contemporary and functioned well. I got a two room suite fit for a CEO for under $200 a night. I have no complaints.

Other menu highlights include pasta, poultry, and beef specialties guaranteed to delight any palette. If you would rather dine in your guest room, room service is available.
Cons: There were ants in the kitchen area of the suite and there was mold on the ceiling above the bathtub
Pros: Comfortable bed, 12pm checkout and good breakfast
Cons: Pool/hot tub need a good scrub...very dirty
Pros: Room was nice, clean and has lots of amenities. Staff. Was friendly and helpful.
