We were stranded in bus for 10 min waiting for baording..Specially when you are traveling with kids and long previous flight. Flight has no information regarding time to destination. Wish to have screen for international travels.

Pros: "The food was good. Supposed to be Halaal (Kosher) for the Muslim population who have dietary restrictions. The economy cabin was comfortable enough. The cabin crew was friendly and helpful. We had a very short connecting time (1 hour) at Doha. They put a ground staff to receive all the ten passengers who needed to make that connection."

This itineray had to be cancelled as the connection time in Paris was only 55 min which is below the 90 min required by Paris airport. Nether Chat deal/Kayak, nor Gulf air nor American Air picked on that. I called American Air for unrelated question was then told that boarding would be denied due to the short connection time. This should have been an automatic notification from Chat deal/ Kayak or Gulf air and itinery cancelled. What is the point of inconveniencing the passenger?? The return has still not be refunded. Shame on Gulf Air, very poor customer service for an airline that has so good flight crew!

At Heathrow it was a bit chaotic as all classes seemed to be mixed up so it was difficult for priority passengers such as disabled to get through everyone crowded up to the desks and the same applied for business class as well. The IFE wasn't too bad but it could be better. Bahrain airport is a mess and the boarding gates seem to be more like corridors with seats in them so it's difficult again when they call for business class passengers as unless you are already at the front you have to try to work your way through. I believe the airport is being rebuilt. If so then things will probably improve. I'm not sure why there needs to be 2 security checks within a few yards of each other when transiting between flights. they don't have this problem in Doha."

We were on the tarmac in Abidjan for almost an hour, before we were informed that there were some technical issues. We were told it was a minor issue, until clearly it was a large enough issue as a lot of time passed by. Air stopped flowing so many passengers including myself became uncomfortably hot and dehydrated. The flight attendants only came down the aisle once with water, which was not considerate enough given that the air stopped flowing. Finally close to two hours later passengers we instructed to disembark without mention of how long the wait would be. We re-boarded the flight after about an hour and only then were informed that there was not enough power to fly the plane. Once we took off the air flow returned and the flight overall was pleasant. While safety of course is a priority, especially for a long overnight flight, communication could have been much better."

The Hifly company that operated the flights from RUN to BKK and back, was a disaster, very uncomfortable and really bad service."

Wanted to get food at airport in Reunion as we got to Reunion at 8:25 pm and had left home (to get to airport in Antananarivo at 2:30 pm, were only served a small snack on flight - it was only 1 hour long), but there was no ATM in the terminal and the only place serving food did not accept international credit cards."

There is only one security station in a cramped stuffy area ... staffed by 8 slow, useless and unfriendly people. The technology must be outdated, because although your cabin bag, laptop case etc. is scanned, before scanning every bottle (no matter how small ... even 50ml or 100ml), makeup etc. is manually searched for then taken by hand and scanned in a separate device. Also any duty-free in a sealed pouch is taken, opened, then re-packed in a new IDENTICAL pouch and sealed !!!aaarrrrggggh?? Do this x 100 passengers (all travelling to Port Louis from Johannesburg via Saint Denis) and your Air Austral scheduled 1 hour transfer time is a joke ... with this frustrating process they need 2.5 hours minimum. Coupled with Air Austral late arrival of 20 minutes departed about 80 minutes late. The joke of it is the plane from Saint Denis to Port Louis is the same plane as used for Johannesburg - Saint Denis leg ... so why disembark the 90% passengers going to Port Louis at all ... leave them on the plane and only disembark those few for Saint Denis."

You’re on your own with this airline. Our first flight was from Djerba to Malta, with a stop and plane change in Tunis. After collecting our bags in Tunis, we found the check in counter for the follow on flight. Approaching the counter, we were told it wouldn’t open for another 2 hours. We waited and finally checked our bags. Nobody told us the boarding gate was in an entirely different part of the airport. Luckily, some passing stranger told us we were in the wrong place and we had to sprint across the terminal to make our flight. On our flight from Malta to Tunis, the boards at the airport said a 12:30 departure time for our flight, with a 12:00 boarding time. Luckily, we hung around the boarding gate because they announced final boarding at 11:30 and closed the doors at 11:45!
We bought tickets for a flight on Saturday. When our plans changed, I tried to change the flight to Sunday. Repeated attempts to reach the airline by phone and email got no response. I had no choice but to buy another ticket for Sunday. Now I’m trying to get a refund for the unused ticket and, once again, absolutely no response whatsoever from the airline. I’ll have to dispute the charge with my credit card and see what happens.
