Pros: "As expected of Delta. With Covid, even the food service understandably was limited. They had prepackaged goodies, albeit not much flexibility, but I had no complaints. Mid row was empty per Covid, for flight comfort, this was somewhat a plus. Knowing air was filtered with HEPA filters every 2 minutes with fresh oxygen and outside air mix was also reassuring."

The gate crew keeping us updated is what saved the name of Delta. If she didnt do that people would have been angry."

Three out of seven of the flight crew were not happy about how badly they were being treated by call center and /or management while they were delayed with us at gate. Snacks were brought out because of delay but they were just junk food. Nothing I could eat due to allergies."

Airline again missed my special order, even though I had reconfirmed 24 hrs before. Eurowings charges for the blanket and for alcoholic drinks, which are typically provided on international flights. I had bought ticket for Lufthansa but was shifted over to Eurowings, which was not my choice, and will not be my choice going forward.

Seat in Economy Plus was OK for comfort, but I resent having to pay more than $100 for it. Plane left on time. Ground crew was very nice and helpful and friendly."
Cons: "This was a Lufhansa operated by United flight. My audio key pad stopped working and I could not hear the movie audio after the first movie. It was stuck on one music channel, which had a short playlist. The light stopped working as well. I could not use the personal device entertainment system because the United system doesn't work with my Silk browser on my Kindle. My biggest complaint, however, was the boarding process. Every three minutes a flight crew member would announce, "Please move into the seat area and don't block the aisle, we have a lot of people to board" in a very exasperated voice. I felt assaulted. I didn't see any United crew members helping people with their luggage or trying to find additional luggage space for customers as I have on British Air, Swiss, and Lufthansa flights. I get that luggage is heavy and people can sometimes be uncooperative and flight attendants may not have signed up to be baggage haulers, but could you please HIRE someone strong to help with loading luggage on international flights? I don't like being treated as someone who is standing in the way of a smooth boarding process."

I may understand that food is not served but to pay for water is not a right thing to do. I asked the crew about this and I was told that bc other airlines charge for drinks/ food, BA also ask passengers for money. I have not had to pay for my drink like water on any other flight. I fly with all big airlines like American, Delta, Lufthansa, LOT, etc"
Cons: "Dear Sir or Madam: My two colleagues and I bought our tickets from BWI to Geneva, via London Heathrow, through Kayak as I have many times in the past. However, the Kiwi.com travel agency did not flag that the ticket from BWI to London Heathrow allowed for one piece of checked luggage, but the ticket from London Heathrow onwards to Geneva did not allow for any checked luggage. Also astonishingly, we had to pass through Customs, reclaim our checked suitcases from the baggage carousel, and check in again through Customs to board the onward flight, both coming and going through London Heathrow. In addition to the extraordinary inconvenience that we could neither transit at London Heathrow to our connecting flight without going through Customs twice and that we could not check our luggage through to our final destination, we also had to foot a higher baggage charge to allow for checking in our suitcases, now that we had arrived in London Heathrow only to discover this that our onward ticket did not cover one piece of checked luggage. Had we known that the seemingly better price posted by Kiwi.com on Kayak’s comparative offerings came at such a high price of inconvenience and additional expense for the luggage, we would have taken our business elsewhere. It was deceptive of Kiwi.com to engage in such practices, even if it disclosed these conditions in fine print (for no one would expect, nor have I ever seen previously in the hundreds of flights I have taken as a Million Miler on United), without flagging this. And similarly, it was irresponsible of Kayak.com to allow this “apples with oranges” comparison on its website. I’m making three more international trips in December, but I’m inclined not to use either Kayak.com and most certainly not Kiwi.com for future airline ticket purchases."
Cons: "I paid extra for exit row seating, but what they didn't tell me was that the flight attendant seat was facing ours, so much for leg room. The actual placement of the seats were aisle row and middle row-so neither of us had a window to look out of or wall to lean against, no overhead lighting or air vent either. Can you say "rip-off?" My husband, who is tall and broad shoulder was constantly being knocked around by the flight attendants and carts. This flight was miserable. I guess I should be thankful for the hour plus delay in departure."

When we attempted to contact kayak to see about moving us to another flight nobody bothered to help us we lost our entire round-trip flight on British Airways and we lost $1,000."

Pros: "Effortless flight from CDG to LHR before returning home to New York. Had the opportunity to spend a night in London to visit a couple friends and some of my favorite shops in town. BA kept my checked bag so I didn’t have to lug a suitcase around for my 19 hour layover."

I will never fly AA AGAIN!"

The two delays (leading to approximately 48 hours of travel) would have been stressful enough, but the callous, ignorant and unprofessional attitudes of American Airlines staff (and staff in general at Chicago O'Hare Airport) really disappointed me. This was even more striking compared with the professional service I received from British Airways (from whom I purchased the tickets). I was ashamed that my country could lag so far behind in terms of basic customer service and problem solving."

Flight on an 80 passenger plane was overbooked by 10 people. Next and last flight also overbooked, so that I had to overnight in Seattle and catch a flight the following day. Although my ticket had been purchased from Air Canada, it had been purchased by a third party, so the airline refused to pay for my overnight hotel. The gate agent was polite and did her best to get me on, but she could not do the impossible.

New York to Toronto, Toronto to Edmonton and return. Not one single flight was on time! We got put in a Hotel - only nice part of the trip - got Vouchers for $15 each - such a low amount!!! Didn't get our luggage with our clothes and amenities to use at the hotel - had to sleep in our plane clothes. Spend extra money we didn't have... it was awful! We will be staying away from Air Canada for awhile!"

They arranged for us to fly directly home rather than to our planned stop in Las Vegas."

While our flight was okay, the previous flight was overbooked and a number of transferring customers were bumped because their flight was late. I understand this is common practice, but the employees handled it VERY poorly, even yelling at the passengers when they voiced their dismay at what was going to be a very long layover after a very long international flight."

They also charge $33+ US to check one bag. If you go over the 50 lb weight limit they charge $100. By the time you add it all up, I could have flown on Delta through the US for less. Trying to get my seat selection fees reimbursed was very difficult; At the airport, they told me to go online and ask for a refund; Online, I couldn't find the way to get to the refund link; Called Customer service again, who gave me an 800# to call for a refund; the person on the 800 # told me I had to request it online but walked me through it to find the refund link; I filled in the online request and was told by automatic reply that Air Canada would investigate it and get back to me within 3-4 weeks. Ugh! No more Air Canada for me!"

We had long layover on return flight in Toronto and airport and Air Canada personnel were not very helpful or accommodating. When we asked for a suggestion on where we could go in the airport to kill several hours (eating, drinking, watching TV), were were told by many that the airport is bad and we're given conflicting or poor answers. Intimately the advice given put us having to go thru security and Custims again (even though we already had) and that process was extremely disorganized and time consuming."

I stood in line for almost 40 minutes waiting to check in before I pulled out my phone and checked in online at that point I was only half way through the line. If the flight hadn't been delayed I might have missed it. Additionally once boarded the cabin door was closed the second the last person entered the plane. An announcement was made that we couldn't leave till everyone was in their seats. But enough time had not been given to the passengers to even get down the aisle before such a snippy comment about needing everybody seated was made."
