I am able to drop my bags off up to 4 hours prior to flight. This is a nice feature when I have an appointment that could run over a bit and timing could become an issue. I like to drop my bags off, then go to my appointments and not worry about getting to the airport within that perfect hour mark. The airport security line isn’t a time consuming process, so this alleviates worrying about getting to the airport to drop off rental and drop bags off prior to the hour mark. It gives a bit of flexibility and makes for a stress free travel day.

Fairbanks airport is rather small with one terminal so it is very easy to navigate the gates and tsa. We were able to get from ticketing to tsa to gate in less than 30 minutes

Check the exit row seats! On my plane one seat on each side had a seat with no seat in front of it for easier emergency exiting, giving that person a huge amount of leg room. The downside is that the seat sides are solid with tray tables in the armrest, so there’s no “overflowing” into the adjacent seat. For the tall, fit gentleman next to me it was a score.

Fairbanks is a small and efficient airport. As with most flights it may be better to take earlier flights to minimize the impact of delays, since many folks have connections.

Ck in and download your electronic tickets beforehand so you can use the baggage check in kiosk. Will save you a lot of time not standing in line.

Bring a blanket and a charger/ something that will provide you entertainment. WiFi provided on flight for extra charge.

Fairbanks is a small airport. Staff are courteous. Be sure to use the app to purchase your luggage ahead of time.

Try to book a red eye flight. Premium class is worth it if you like extra leg room.

Check-in prior to heading to airport thereby avoiding lines

They dusted off some random rule about being there two hours before boarding when the ticket clearly states one hour. Forced to take a later flight, thereby missing my connection home. Airport camping for me.

Great flight we left a little late but the awesome airplane was super fast l love that

Customer service at Juneau was great but the handling of our luggage was very poor at Seattle after a delayed flight due to maintenance causing us to miss our connecting flight. We had frozen goods and they told us they would put it the freezer but didn’t. We lost 250lbs of halibut & salmon

Everything was great. Due to an accident on the Glen Hwy attendants could not make it to the airport. A delay while new crew was located

My experience with Alaska Airlines was great! Crew are always friendly and attentive. Alaska Airlines goes out of their way to make guest feel appreciated.

Completely full flight. Boarding was smooth, but people didn’t listen about use of overhead bins which is typical. We pre-purchased a snack which was tasty. Drinks were good and plentiful. Flight left late because previous flight was delayed.

Everyone was so kind, flight was wonderful, check in and baggage were easy. Thank you guys so much for a great trip

Ok, but nothing special. Long flight with no blanket/pillow set.

The tray wasn’t cleaned, it had crumbs from the last flight Other than that it was very comfortable by

Kayak wouldn’t refund me for a flight I was trying to cancel through Kayak. Alaska airlines said I had to cancel through Kayak. I called the customer service line and they couldn’t refund the flight that I booked through Kayak either. You stole my money. You will be hearing from my lawyer.

Service was great! 👍 Seats were small and absolutely not enough leg and feet room!!!

The staff was friendly and the flight ran on time. Boarding was a zoo. This process could be greatly improved. They have done away with the entertainment they used to offer in favor a wifi signal for our phones and that wasn't working in half the flights. The beverage selection is poor and the quantity was minimal. I'm sure when the airlines can come up with something cheaper to serve than pretzels they they will switch to it. If their budget is that tight what else are they skimping on? (Maintenance, fuel, safety) Over all I'm underwhelmed!

Flights wwere cancelled, not due to weather. Left us stranded needing to rent a car costing $925. Totally no customer service or assistance.

Am deaf and there isn't tv screen on boarding place that I don't know what time it will start and want to make sure I have correct boarding. I wasn't notified that boarding has changed without tv screen showing.

Flight was cancelled and couldn’t reschedule. Had to rebook on southwest.

High winds with a lot of turbulence, but expected with winds. Otherwise it was fast and excellent!!

Expect many people do not have masks on or have the nose is hanging ride over the top of them
