My bag was 9 pounds over the allotted weight, which since I was on leave I typically pack pretty heavy. This is the first time on any airline I have ever been told this and this is the first time ever I had a delta employee attempt to charge me for baggage because I was not on official military orders, just holiday leave. This particular employee was very persistent in making me pay over $100 for that additional 9 pounds. Eventually she agreed to let me have my checked bag for no fee, yet she made me seem like such an inconvinience that I was 9 pounds over. I understand if it is a policy and by no means am I trying to play the poor me veteran deal, but the employees attitude towards me was insulting just as a person and that's why I am upset. Also trying to adjust a flight with delta is a complete nightmare. They have zero sympathy for anyone's situation. Will be the last time I fly delta."

I brought my own headphones, but the stewards provided them if you need them. My one big complaint was that our seats did not recline, thus making any kind of shut-eye near impossible. Our plane left and hour late, but the pilots stepped on the gas and we got in on time!"

Lufthansa really needs to fix the seat selection situation."

Cons: "Too many interruptions. Every time there's an announcement, it interrupts the movies and some of the announcements were completely unnecessary and there were so many of them, it was like constant interruptions, really annoying."

Pros: "I had a choice of movies, games and music that was very appealing. My concerns about not receiving the correct meal was handled professionally and promptly during the flight. I was surprised they couldn't discover I only ordered it for the second leg of my flight."
Cons: "Being placed into a window seat at 6' 5". Although I opted for general seating rather than paying for a extra leg room which is out of my budget. Not getting an aisle seat was disturbing at my height. Then there was the guy in front of me not willing to forego putting his seat back on my knees for over half the flight. It would be nice if the seat assignments for general boarding considered the height of the person being assigned."

Pros: "Boarded 45 minutes late, and then sat in the plane for another two hours before take off due to a problem with the lie computer. Would have been better to spend that time in the terminal and given credits to buy food, etc. My seat was a regular seat (non exit) and the seat did not recline properly, the USB drive was broken, overall the plane felt unmaintained. The crew was friendly and food was good but I felt not enough was done to accommodate the extra hours we had to wait on the plane."

Cons: "There was a flight delay. That would have caused me to miss my connection. The airline switched me to another airline and did not notify me. Caused me to run all over the airport and waste extra 4 hours in waiting."

Cons: "Well my flight got delayed four separate times. I was stuck in LAX for 3 hours. So much that booked another flight with another airline for the following morning. I had to book a hotel nearby LAX just so I could somewhere to sleep for the night. My luggage made it to Chicago safely, but I didn’t at least not with American Airlines. It took them an hour to tell us that they reassigned the pilot to another flight, not only that when it was delayed the first initial time (40 minute delay) about ten minutes before we were supposed to board they tell us that the flight attendant crew is going to take 30 minutes to get to the gate. Not only but those poor airline service staff were completely unaware of all these changes! They had to find out from the passengers what was going on. Honestly I will never fly with American Airlines ever again!!!"

Cons: "One FA seemed visibly annoyed with me; I'm honestly not sure what I did. I am a FA for another airline; didn't identify myself as such but always make sure to not be "that passenger." During two beverage services she did not ask me if I wanted anything but simply looked at me with disdain and sighed loudly. She wasn't rude; just not friendly and I never once saw her smile. She seemed tired and annoyed. I understand that feeling. I've been a FA for 16 years, still junior at my company, but it reminded me how important body language and facial expressions are when we work hospitality and customer service in the public eye. I hope everything is ok with her and I'm sorry if I did something that irritated her. I didn't get her name."
