Pros: "The efficient boarding. Unlike other airlines, overhead compartment is large enough so passengers don’t need to check in at the gate."

Pros: "my flight was from fairbanks to seattle and then to orlando. i was very comfortable and the attendants were caring when someone felt ill. not a medical emergency just a woman who felt odd."
Cons: "the on board thing to do with the tablet didnt work. when we landed in seattle i asked the customer service booth for help and they ould not offer any suggestions except to rent thier equipment"

Cons: "I have never been on a flight where I was bumped in the leg or arm repeatedly. Passengers were constantly up and down the aisle along with the carts hawking their wares. I trussed myself up like a turkey with the seatbelt so I wasn't on the armrest so as not to get hit again. My grandson who is a lot smaller than I, tried to put his head down to sleep on the tray table. He looked so uncomfortable. I know the deal is butts in the seats, but even the seat bottom is horribly uncomfortable. These planes have become cattle buses. I put up with it because there is no choice and I can't afford first class."

Pros: "In my flight form ANC to FAI the check in was seemless. I was given a bag for my car seat. I was able to check my pack n play no issues. Checking my bag"
Cons: "My flight back my cab driver was late. I got there at 530 first of all the baggage drop lady was rude and looked me up and down before choosing to talk to me. I was told they didn't have bags for my car seat and that I missed my flight. By the time I scheudled a new flight and made it through security to wait for my 9 am instead of 6 am flight the flight I was suppsosed to be on was boarding. Also when I checked my bags after being told I had to call the 1800# instead of use the customer service desk I was told that I had to pay for my pack n play. When it was not charged on the way up."

Pros: "Flight was fine - can't really say much real good or bad - we slept most of the time. Left tablet on board and a crew member retrieved it for me and did so with a smile. Pretty happy with the flight."

Pros: "The flight was on time and very comfortable. Nice leg room. I could plug in my phone to charge which I thought was great. They even had tablets that you could rent and watch a movie. Checking in was uneventful - very smooth."
Cons: "The only problem was that we had one piece of luggage that didn't make to Syracuse with us. It was taken off the plane in Seattle and not put on our next flight. We are waiting for it's arrival. Hopefully soon."

Cons: "Look, I understand things happen, but by arriving near midnight in Seattle (five hours late), I missed a dinner my father drove several hours to make happen, and I also had to pay $55 for a cab to a hotel (he would have driven me). I asked three different Alaska staff people, and they all told me to talk to somebody else about compensation. Poor service."

Cons: "The seats were uncomfortable, but it may have been that I was squeezed against the window because of the extremely obese person in the middle seat. It would be nice if there is a person who cannot fit in the seat to have them be moved to a larger seat. Not sure if that is realistic or not, but it is pretty uncomfortable to have a stranger's stomach fold laying on your leg for 3+ hours."

Cons: "Kept on the tarmac with no information on when we would be leaving. I fell asleep and the flight attendant instead of waking me up rudely moved my chair upright in a startling and rude way. When I asked him to next time tap me on the shoulder or ask me to move he went ahead and began speaking loud."

Cons: "On the red eye from Anchorage to LAX in Business class the A321 was ok as far as comfort. Same duration flight fromLAX to MIA, same plane, but we received a nice pillow and blanket, as well as a little travel kit and bottle of water. Seems strange there are different standards for the same duration"

Pros: "The pilot got us to Dallas ahead of schedule which was a big help because I was concerned about making my connecting flight. The stewardess assured me of the process and said not to worry."

Cons: "This was an updated 737 with pleather seats and a sleek look inside. But what matters most is leg room for me. There was none. I flew for 5 hours in totally cramped conditions. I loved the page in the mag about seat exercises to keep your leg circulation up. Couldn't bend my knees even. Disgusting"

Cons: "This is my first time with the airline. It’s safe to say I’ll wont be booking with American Airlines again in the future. The crew members were rude, unattentive and just bitter. It started with simply boarding. The lady at the desk was rude about telling me I needed to consolidate my bags. I ended up just checking the carry-on in. We asked one crew member on board if we could throw our trash away and she just seems annoyed. We also asked for ear buds and she never arrived with them simply stating they will offer/hand them out after they come around. She just seemed like she hates her job. Just terrible attitudes. very unpleasant flight."

Cons: "You better hope you don't have a short connection. Sacramento fails to allow you direct access between the A and B terminals. You have to leave and hunt for the other building through the parking garage with no guidance and then go back through security. Unacceptable!"

Cons: "24 hr trip. Morning business meeting- How did my bag not make my flight? I would have carried it on, if I didn’t trust AA to provide excellent service. This is now impacting my business."

Pros: "Entertainment aspect of flight was excellent. Good was not bad and staff attentive."
Cons: "Check in was terrible. There was confusion and it was terribly disorganized. I arrived 2 hours before my flight and almost did not make bag drop due to the long line (atleast 50-80 other people in the same situation). Then had to rush through security and the terminal to make boarding. Cleared second passport check to be told when the flight shelf have been taking off that the flight was delayed. I get sick when I fly and it helps to eat and due to all the check in delays I could not eat. So when the flight was delayed for mechanical reasons I wanted to go eat to be told that for the next three hours that I would be stuck I could not leave to walk around get a meal or anything. The communication for the staff was poor and their attempt to keep their customers comfortable was lacking."

Pros: "I loved our flight from Anchorage alaska to Los Angeles California. Flight attendants were kind and helpful. We had plenty of leg room and it was great flight. Loved our window seat."

Cons: "Delay, first told it was weather related, then mechanical. Re booked on a flight by AA that would never make connection. Paid over $1,000 for a flight leg that one way and direct on another airline (Alaska air) was $281.00 and the agent took so long to find redirect flight that they couldn't book. Total mess! While struck on the second leg and speaking with AA customer service about the reschedule I was told that they didn't have the ability to rectify the error because they no longer had control of my ticket and that I had to take into consideration that three was an event in San Antonio that caused delays network wide that added tio the initial issue... HOGWASH! 1) it was another AA issue where an AA aircraft drive of the runway while I was in flight on the first errant leg. 2) if they had just been straight from the outset, I wouldn't have been delayed. I will never fly AA AGAIN!"

Cons: "Frankfurt was rebooked by AA to PHL connecting to LGA. LGA leg was cancelled. They wanted us to take a flight to LGA the next day. We got ticketed to DCA connecting to LGA same day. Finally arrived home after 18 hours of travel. NOT HAPPY. We don't blame AA for weather cancellation but it was not an easy trip home."

Pros: "The accommodations. Loved the high tech tv and choices on the entertainment, as well as the more advanced reading lights. LOVED LOVED LOVED the charging ports available."

Cons: "Getting there, flight was rescheduled by AA, left not enough time to catch 2nd flight. Ran to that terminal, staff was curt. Rescheduled 2nd flight, had to check in my carry on, which made the people picking me up wait."

Cons: "We had purchased the tickets months before flying - It was Quantas, but we flew on American and Alaska- no one seemed to talk to each other - not one site had the complete itinerary. Took hours of phone calls and a lot of anxiety before we completed the trip. I used my American airline frequent flyer card and even though we flew over 14000 miles, we got credit for 500."

Cons: "The plane was freezing and made me very uncomfortable! I asked the flight attendant for a blanket and she told me no. Even though I saw some in first class.... I would have purchased one. It was very hard for me to fall asleep because of how cold I was. Comfort is one of the main things I expect in a 4 plus hour flight."
