Fairbanks is a small and efficient airport. As with most flights it may be better to take earlier flights to minimize the impact of delays, since many folks have connections.

Don't go to Seattle during a snow storm.

Ck in and download your electronic tickets beforehand so you can use the baggage check in kiosk. Will save you a lot of time not standing in line.

Bring a blanket and a charger/ something that will provide you entertainment. WiFi provided on flight for extra charge.

Don’t waste time when arriving in Seattle. Most connecting flights require a train shuttle between terminals.

Fairbanks is a small airport. Staff are courteous. Be sure to use the app to purchase your luggage ahead of time.

Alaska Airlines free carry on's is the best deal ever. Its already expensive enough with out paying for clothes twice over.

I think Alaska to me is at the top of all airlines when it comes to checking baggage and comfort

By far Alaskan Airlines has the best boarding, and the best baggage policy.
KathyFlew with DeltaANC-SLCJul 2024
Delta does a decent job with a non stop flight option out of Salt Lake City. The draw back is there are not many options in affordability. If that is important then the late flight is the only option to choose. I would love to see a cheaper more affordable option during the day instead of a red eye flight.
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesANC-KTNAug 2024
Be careful to read the exact itinerary. It’s not obviously clear within the their system (which is currently being upgraded, to boot)
Verified travelerFlew with Alaska AirlinesANC-SEAMay 2024
Go with a larger airline. I've heard excellent things about Delta from a variety of people recently. My favorites are the overseas carriers: Turkish Airlines and Emirates provided the best experiences I've had. I used to love Air France, but now that Charles DeGaulle "updated" its airport to include miles of expensive shops, the walk from international arrivals to your next gate is ridiculous, added to the long ride from where the planes land to the airport itself. Don't fly Ryan or Aer Lingus. U.S. carriers: Delta, United, American. No to the smaller airlines that may have cheaper flights, but for long hauls, do not provide even basic amenities. Allegiant is okay for a couple-hour flight if you can fit all your stuff in a personal item (carryons are extra).

Alaska is the only airlines going to Juneau therefore, I can’t recommend another way of passage.

I flew Alaskian Airlines. Excellent Crew and Service. Plane is always packed and I mean packed, leaving from Fairbanks. This is a better plane that I have used before...leg length and wider seating. But guy beside me at 6' 4", plus 200 lbs. "Sucked Space"...between two of us. Whew... You boarding gate needs a Sheep Pen. You might need shearing prior to boarding...🤔

Expect delays - it always happens when I fly to Alaska. Sometimes it's weather related but other times it has been plane problem situations. I guess if you are flying anywhere, those are situations to be expected. Pack a good book!

Flight was cancelled and couldn’t reschedule. Had to rebook on southwest.

High winds with a lot of turbulence, but expected with winds. Otherwise it was fast and excellent!!

Expect many people do not have masks on or have the nose is hanging ride over the top of them

Pros: "I always love flying Alaska Airlines. Great crew, service, comfortable flights."

It was very good. I love flying with Alaska air.

Flying sucks these days. No airline is better than another. Alaska Air At least gives you some pretzel snacks. That is about all I can say for it.

Boarding for Alaska Airlines is always chaotic with many people crowding the gates. Arriving in on Alaska in Los Angeles is always interesting since there is never a gate available. So the planes are often parked all the way out on the west side of the airport while waiting for the gate to be cleared of the departing plane. This flight was no exception.

The would have rated higher, but I asked for a cup of coffee twice and never got one. Later found the crew sitting in the back having a meal and visiting. Just saying.

The flight was delayed almost an hour causing many passengers to be at jeopardy of missing their connecting flights. There was no help in providing passengers help with connections or allowing passengers with connecting flights to exit the plane in an expediated manner.

This was our fist time flying Alaska Airlines. Overall it was a great experience. Ticket counter, gate agents and flight attendants were all wonderful. They all seemed happy at what they do and it shows. Of 4 legs, the onboard WiFi was spotty on 1 leg. The food in first class cabin was ok. Couldn’t get the text messaging notifications to work so had to rely on Flight Aware and the Alaska App. Flights were on time and uneventful. We would def fly Alaska Airlines again :)

Airline seems to have really gone downhill and have secured a reputation for being late and nonprofessional. How sad.

Good flight times. The app didn’t show all available seats when checking in. I thought I had to pay for an exit row to have a seat but there were actually 42 seats left. Then I had to get a refund and getting ahold of a customer care representative who was able to do that was very very difficult.

The first class crew was very attentive to any needs requested. As a diabetic a few extra choices for drinks would be nice. Plus at least one meal that would be diabetic friendly.

connection was tight as the boarding gates were very far apart. Made it when they were calling final boarding

Unlike Ravn and Grabt, these are new planes. But this plane was late due to reshuffling
