There was plenty of space, and so I rven had a chance to catch some sleep on the transatlantic flight. But Uktimately, unless you are travelling in luxury, transatlantic flights are awful.
My Swiss flight from Stuttgar via Zurich to JFK was cancelled before 24 hours without explaining the reason. They should explain the reason at least. I had to take an another flight and arrived at JFK after 6 hours from the original flight. My trip was totally messed up, so I was not happy at all.
I remember a time when these flights had entertainment on them...
Crew was very friendly. In-flight food service on such a short flight with choice of a sweet or salty snack was much appreciated.
Seat backs were rock solid without use of a personal pillow.
Changing planes on Vienna was not easy so 1-hour layover was barely enough (required running)
They lost my luggage.
Even though I was disappointed by not being able to get the boarding passes from Delta for Aeromexico’s connecting flight to Bogota, I had an agent greet me after customs in Mexico to issue the boarding pass so I could use the transfer flight line. Excellent service throughout the entire trip.

Flight was on time, crew was friendly, plane was clean, and boarding was painless and efficient. Food was served which was a huge plus. I appreciate having a choice of almonds for a snack.
