They had to change tires before we lelt in Toronto. And we spent more than one hour on the tarmac.
They were very dishonest about everything. We need to be there in Australia on Monday morning for very important event but reached Australia Monday night 8PM. Virgin Australia contatcted out their flight from SJC to LAX through Delta and Delta cancelled flights becaue no-show of Pilot to operate the plan. What a Joke???? We asked them to put us through another carrier to LAX for connecting flight they refused.Very very BAD. It was a big miss for us.. never again Delta/Virgin Australia..............
I actually felt San Jose Del Cabo Airport was far more courteous and accommodating best at acknowledging us and asking if one needs help or if your okay. I realize this airport is far less busy but if was noticeable and notable. I also liked that the pilot announced we would be experiencing brief turbulence and described we will go up and down as if descending, so I was prepared and less stressed when I experienced exactly what pilot had described.
Our party of eight departed from gate 8 which was hidden behind a post and not in view unless one walked past passenger entry doors. Also passenger seated next to me had asked for a burger, flight attendant replied she was not sure if she could fulfill request and best to order 24 hour prior to flight. She came back with a burger that smelled super delish and I regret not having one myself but there wasn't any left. Maybe stock up or start marketing because I am still thinking about that aroma and appealing burger...
Everyone from counter check-in to flight attendants were very kind. You just don't see that anymore. This is my first time with Alaska Airline and I would be glad to fly you again.
The Gogo internet was very slow to non-existent -- like dial-up slow. WiFi delivery may not be Alaska Airline's fault, but $40... woof. For that price, I want it to be blazing fast.
Alaska Airlines has been an excellent airline for many years. Being a Seattle native I have had a chance to use Alaska Airlines many times. All of the staff are friendly, professional and patient. The planes are modern and the flight crews the best.
Love that they have limited free WiFi and charging ports at every seat!
