The flight was held when our previous flight was delayed so no rebooking was necessary.
Food/drinks are overpriced. Seats are too small. There’s no entertainment for long haul flights. Water isn’t even served. The front desk was very dismissive of any customer service when our plane was late.

They really did a great job, kept us informed about what was going on,staff was quick, organized and pleasant. I have to say, best food on a flight that I have had in a very LONG time,!
Pleasant crew and good food/snack service almost forgotten as I stood at the baggage carousel for 40 minutes.
Baggage claim very frustrating (40 minutes) particularly after 12 hours of airports and airplanes. Messed up our ground transportation plans for no apparent reason. Totally unexplained!
Crew nice. Space was better than most. Felt like Jet Blue.

Having had bad experiences with Aer Lingus before, I was hesitant to book with Aer Lingus again. But sadly, I was booking this flight last minute and had no other option. The route was Dublin to Calgary, via Toronto. I left myself plenty of time im Toronto to clear customs as I know it can take a while. The day of, the flight ended up being 1.5 hours longer than usual due to headwinds, leaving me with only 2.5 hours in Toronto. I ended up waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes for my bag and missing my connecting flight (my sister who was also on the same flight received hers in 30 mins and made the flight). Westjet was wonderful and put me on a later flight but Aer Lingus didn't have any assistance for me.
Aer Lingus lost my sister's luggage going to Ireland and never contacted my sister once the luggage was found. She only received it the day we flew back to Calgary. Poor customer service when inquiring about the bag, no compensation for necessities purchased.
