Our flight was delayed by almost 2 hours and caused me to miss my connecting flight. Next available flight was a 6 hour layover that I was not expecting.
No help with baggage when boarding the plane, they hurry you up for nothing, because we had to wait 20 mi utes to take off.

I miss friendly Southwest. Even the assigned seat is kit enough for me to use AA again. People smile at Southwest and seem to enjoy their job.
I did like that "new plane" smell. Good pretzels.
Plane was too new; computer system hadn't been set right. Left 45 minutes late, though made up some lost time in the air. Very rude passengers (obviously not the airline's fault, I know). Everyone thinks they should be the first to get off the plane!
Potable water was down so no coffee, tea, or more important... water to wash hands. Then they didn’t have my second choice of beverages after coffee either.
CRJ900 is a small plane. no WiFi
I liked that they provided blankets and complimentary drinks.
They didn’t provide entertainment properly, you needed to have the United app downloaded ahead of time if you wanted to see any movies. All food was made for purchase they did not offer any free food.
Flight was on time, smooth with efficient boarding and quick baggage retrieval.
Only one beverage service shortly after takeoff. No additional offers of drink or snack on 6 hour flight. Attendants were sitting around in rear galley. One was knitting! I told them that trash receptacle was full in restroom. The response was "I'll put on gloves and "push it down" but it was still unusable fifteen minutes later. Had to pay $7.99 to access flight map. No earbuds were offered. Attendants were invisible except for collecting trash.
For the first time I did not fly on a puddle jumper. Not only was it a real jet, it had good seat comfort and leg room even in economy class. The crew was friendly and attentive. They came by with offerings of water at least 4 times for a 2+ hour flight. Contrast that with my last two 5 hour flights on Virgin and American where they came by with water — ONCE. WiFi wasn’t working for either flight and of course the lack of decent food is discouraging. The coffee has improved which is a plus. Overall, good job, United! Nice not to be jammed in like sardines for once.
Every time I fly to Denver, we land in one terminal and your connection is in another terminal that requires a train ride to get there. ,ayovers are short — generally barely an hour. If the flight is late you stand a very good chance of missing your connection, as I’m betting happened to over half the passengers on this flight. I was the lucky exception — this aircraft was actually the connecting flight too. Why can’t all United connections be in the same terminal? It makes no sense.
There was no free in-flight entertainment available on the tv screens. Half of the screens didn't work. The seat belts were not long enough to accommodate the passenger sitting beside me. The space for my personal item was smaller than the other flight.
