Pros: "Seats are comfortable. Compared to other flights there is more leg room. Flight attendants where friendly."
Cons: "The flight was late on arrival, so there was more time spent in the airport. Due to this, we were right behind another flight that landed before us. Customs will only allow one plane to disembark, so we waited to get off the plan for over 30 minutes. This was the only bad experience with the trip."

Even thought we still had an hour before flight was scheduled to fly they claimed that we would not have enough time to check in bags before the departure. They then proceeded to acknowledge that it was customs fault but they can’t do anything about it. The rest of my party made it to the plane with plenty of time but my husband, 2 year old, 9 month old and I were left stranded in Tijuana, Mexico. The airline didn’t even offer a credit towards another flight, they we offering a new flight two hours later for $2,800 US. Then suggested to maybe arrive earlier next time, even though we arrived 3.5 hours before our domestic Mexico flight! Then when my party arrived at the destination they ask and complained about the incident and found out, the internal note said “ missed flight due to client refusing to pay luggage fees”! Horrible!!!!! What’s worse was that we had to spend the night the airport because they shut down shuttle/car rentals services. Aeromexico worst “company policy”and liars! Tijuana international airport is a joke! Don’t waste your time and money!"

Because according to them I'm allow to have an extra bag if im flying in first class, but they change the airplane and did't have first class so I was in coach( but i pay for first class in my ticket) anyways they just say I'm sorry but you have to pay. So I ended paying a ticket in first class plus an extra bag."

We had to pay an extra $50 to check a bag because, although when totaled we were under the weight limitations, each individuals weight combination was over the 10 kilos maximum allowed."

Cons: "I reserved an aisle seat at booking, but had a message to see gate attendent for seat assignment when i checked in. My seat was changed to middle position and there was no recourse. There are way too many people assigned group 3 and 4 , the line at pheonix and most other airports blocked the throughway for other people."

Cons: "I specifically bought carry on luggage that meets the standards so that I would not have to go baggage claim as it would weigh heavily on my schedule. As I stood in line and noticed all of the huge "carry on" bags more than 2 I was astounded when the flight attendant said my carry on would have to be loaded with the other luggage. When I offered my rebuke she scolded me and said the luggage would be there before me....how the hell is that supposed to happen? To make matter worse the flight "attendants" stopped serving half way and when they started again I got trapped by the bathroom and did not get back to my seat in time to enjoy a beverage....not that I was offered one."

Cons: "There were several flights departing from Dallas Fort Worth and they couldn't get me on one based on weather supposedly but there's zero rain on the ground they made me pay for a hotel hundred bucks to stay in a Holiday Inn Express end it's not very quaint mind you I don't get to leave and get to my destination until 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon"

Cons: "Our flight was delayed 6 hours so United rebooked the whole flight, however they made no attempt to inform us before we arrived at the airport. We found out when we arrived to our gate to board. So because we did not know about the delay until the time of boarding, we missed all other flights out because it was 8pm and no more flights could take us to our final destination. We did receive a hotel voucher but we had to pay for a taxi back to the airport as well as we had to pay extra for our car that had been sitting in the airport garage overnight. It should have been $2.50, but because it sat in the garage overnight we had to pay $20."

Cons: "I decided to take another carrier in the aftermath of United's terrible treatment of paid passengers/customers. United doesn't deserve my business (ever again)."

Pros: "I loved the ground crew. Flights were delayed, but they kept us informed an expedited turn around. Also I had to change flights to get home and their phone-support was perfect. Hey, they even had a cookie on the last flight that was quite good - go figure!"

Cons: "We're all aware of the national "glitch" the delayed flights a couple of hours. While our plane was available for an on-time departure (UA1976) @11:35, the crew was inbound on one of the delayed flights (UA1611). United could have known as early as 7:30pm that 1611 wasn't going to make it on time to turn around the crew and would hold up 1976 as a result. Instead United didn't update passengers of 1976 until 11:55 (20 minutes after it was obvious that it was delayed and 4.5 hours after they could have known). Maybe I'm missing something, would love for someone at United to explain it."

Cons: "I don't think I will be choosing to fly with United going forward. The staff at the desks were rude and very short. I had a layover in Chicago and did not receive any notification that my flight was cancelled due to maintenance. I went to each desk to try and find an associate and no one was available to help the several individuals wondering how to get switched to a new flight. All of us were just given a phone number to call. Once I found someone thy told me that there was no seats available on any of the flights. They found one seat on a plane that was going to laguardia instead of my destination of Newark and then proceeded to tell me that my bags will still go to Newark and it was my job to make sure I filed to get them. (Same thing happened the last time I flew with United) I'm very disappointed all together with how I was treated as a customer."

I ask the guy to print me some sort of itinerary to show my work, and it shows "mechanicall issues", not weather. Confirmed this with their website. I was told I'd probably be arriving in Seattle around 1-1:30AM. By pure chance, my flight from San Fran to Seattle was ALSO delayed (due to a late incoming flight), so I was able to board my original connecting flight. However, this still put me in a bad situation. I use public transportation, which wont be running by the time I arrive. LooKS like I'll be forking out $50+ for an Uber or Lyft home. Thanks, United. I only ever get delays when I fly United."

Pros: "Economy Plus was good. Economy not so. Good variety of movies. However, it is cheaper to go to the movies during the day. Pretty impressed with the timing, especially considering it was the holidays and we flew through Chicago. The captains' were also entertaining."

The Economy was the new definition of bare bones."

Cons: "As soon as we arrived to the airport, checking in was the biggest hassle. We were harassed by a guy working the ticket counter named Guilermo. He was EXTREMELY rude and continued to harass us and followed us after we checked in and we're already at the security check point. It's $25 to check a bag but if you check 2 bags their website says its $35 for both. We were charged $50 to check two bags. Even after Guilermo told both of us that they wouldn't charge us for the second bag to be checked. The guy that checked our bags was also extremely rude and clearly didn't care. Once we started boarding the flight several passengers had to check their bags at the gate because there "wasn't enough room on the plane". Not really sure how this was fair since we had just paid $50 to check two bags and were lied to about it when several people just checked their bags for free. We chose to fly with United because of the good deals they have on flights but after our experience I would MUCH rather pay more money and have a lot better customer service. We had such a horrible experience it almost ruined our first day of our week long trip. I'm. It really sure if it's obvious to the employees of United but traveling for most people is a very special occasion. This occasion happen to be a very special one to us as it was a family vacation and seeing family we haven't seen in years. The poor attitudes and rude demeanor from the United staff is all we could think about even after we reached our destination."

Cons: "PHX is a large airport, and my emailed ticket said Brussles Airlines, Terminal 4. First off, Brussles Airlines is not a carrier at PHX, and secondly no one knew that United was their partner. There was no information provided to me to go to United, which was in Terminal 2. After making a phone call to Brussles Airlines, I ended up getting to the check in gate ten minutes after boarding started. It was a lovely rest of the trip after that though! But please include partner information im the email next time!"

Instead of making an effort for several passangers to catch the flight from Guadalajara to Fresno (also ran by Volaris) they would not let us board the Fresno flight; even though the gate was still open and the last passengers were boarding. Instead, Volaris sent me to Los Angeles (they gave me the option of flying to Fresno, but 5 days later. I don't live in Guadalajara and that was not my final destination). In Los Angeles, I had to take a cab from the LAX to the Bus Station, take the bus to Fresno (spend all night on the bus) and take a cab to the Fresno airport to pick up my automobile. Thank you Volaris . . . great job!"

Cons: "The main problem was that when I checked in online, I tried to add on more piece of luggage—for a total of 2 checked in. But the computer ended up totaling it as 3 pieces of luggage. There seemed to be no way to change this online. So I asked them to change it when I got to the airport, but they wouldn’t. What was done couldn’t be changed. Another issue I have is with this review questionnaire. They are questions for rating the food and entertainment which the airlines don’t provide anymore. These should be removed from the survey. They should, however, ask how was the process of making the reservation, check-in, and customer service in general. Both from the airline, and any third party service like kayak or kiwi. I’m not satisfied with kiwi as they were closed when I tried to call them. So I had to just fend for myself and spend money needlessly."

Cons: "Seats are way too small. I was crippled after the hour flight. The web site does not work well. It is hard to order add on services like more luggage or a bigger seat."

Cons: "although they confirmed a flight to LA on tuesday nov 14, it turned out Volaris did not fly to LA on that date. It took about an hour to arrange for the replacement flight"

Cons: "Boarding took forever and was not organized. They lined everyone up to check documents and then just left us standing in line for half an hour until boarding."

Cons: "Both flights on Avianca Airlines were cancelled due to their pilots strike. MEX to BOG and BOG to UIO were both cancelled. I had to buy another ticket with short notice on another airline. Cost me a lot of money because of the short notice."
