Pros: "Our seats were comfortable."
Cons: "Snacks could be improved for Premium seats."
Cons: "There was no meal on both flights. From Kona to Seattle and Seattle to Atlanta"
Pros: "Leg room very comfortable"
Cons: "The seats in coach are tiny. This is not conducive for a long flight. Not only that, but I was seated next to a obese person and she took up some of my seat too. Unbelievable!"
Pros: "The flight attendants were super. They asked wanted anything. They kept asking if there was something we needed. Super service."
Cons: "No negatives"
Pros: "Ireally slept well."
Cons: "Second leg was a bit Spartan, but will consider Alaskan air before other major carriers going to same place."
Cons: "The temperature was about 84 degrees in row 8 and despite my complaint, and a adjustment, it was still about 80 for the entire flight. The flight attendant said that it’s always warm in that part of the cabin, but in all my years of flying (pretty frequently for the past 8yrs), I’ve never had this issue. If anything, it’s usually on the cooler side. Regardless of the reason, I was in a premium seat (paid extra $99) and to be so uncomfortable for this 5hr the red eye flight was super disappointing."
Pros: "The seats were more spacious than on many planes. The overhead bins were larger than on many planes. There were power outlets at the seat. The flight attendant gave generous pours of wine."
Cons: "The boarding was chaos because the flight was oversold."
Pros: "Clean ,new and kind"
Cons: "Not a thing"
Pros: "Because of a strong tail wind our flight time Seattle to Atlanta was 3 hr 45 min. Thank you Alaska for getting us back home safely and FAST."
Pros: "Great flight with on time arrival and departure."
Pros: "Wheelchair to plane"
Cons: "My seat would not recline (row 32). Is this new policy?"

Cons: "Have to bring your own entertainment viewing system or rent one"
Pros: "When confused about what to do next and get a bag checked someone came over from another check point to assist. We really appreciated it very much."
Cons: "Reading all about the menu offerings only to be told there is no food left when it came to my row 27, seriously they didn't know it was a full flight? The plane smelled like vomit when we boarded...anyway to remedy that?"
Pros: "knee space the free cookies/snacks"
Pros: "I always fly with Alaska because they always have a great crew, very friendly and if you have an issue they are very helpful in solving it."
Cons: "I didn't like that some older airplanes dont have the upgrades yet. I can actually tell the difference in seat size in the older model planes and the new ones. the new ones are a lot bigger seats. while the older planes the seats make me feel so big and not comfy at all"
Cons: "crowded with no room to sit anywhere and couldn't hear announcements outside immediate area. Immigration process too lengthy and almost missed flight with 2 2/12 layover in Seattle."
Pros: "Everything about it was AMAZING!!!"
Pros: "The crew was awesome, extremely attentive and addressed me by my name."
Cons: "I was siting in the main cabin first row. Was a bit tight but very comfortable nonetheless. The food consisted in a couple of snacks, but the quality was excellent"
Pros: "The crew was great. They were pleasant and helpful."
Cons: "We were on row 33 d,e, & f. Seats d & e would not recline. The button on seat d was broken. As annoying as that was, there were 3 unaccompanied minors sitting in front of us. Two of them were fine. The third one on the isle seat was up and down, in and out of his seat the majority of the flight. I couldn't sleep. This was my second flight of the day after staying in Seattle for 7 hours waiting between my flights. The kid was loud and it seemed like the crew couldn't correct him. He just did as he pleased. I wasn't the only passenger who had a problem with him. And apparently the crew did as well. I paid a lot of money for that flight and he ruined it for me. If they are going to fly children like that, the crew should be able to correct them so the other passengers can have a pleasant flight."
Cons: "unable to access internet and movies"
Pros: "The check in and customer service was really helpful"
Pros: "Ground crew and on plane crew were awesome"
Pros: "Being on time"

Pros: "Friendly crew, comfortavle seats"
Cons: "No healthy food options. Not a big deal"
Pros: "Wonderful staff, roomy seats for a 6'4" guy. Other airlines cramp my style (legs, knees)"
Pros: "We left early and arrived early! All in all another great Alaska flight!"
Pros: "Comfortable not full flights, easy to board they way they do by rows!! i dont know why more people dont do that!"
Cons: "Food options for free was weak for long flight, 1 bag of pretzels and only subpar tv shows for free. Had to buy movie on own device. Just used to seat back machines with interactive games and flight tracker. So missed that at least free classic movies."
Pros: "Nice, friendly crew! Left 15 minutes mutes late and arrived 5 minutes to army! Perfect!"
Pros: "Smooth process"
Cons: "No meal given. No entertainment."
Pros: "I liked that I got to use my status on American for this flight."
Cons: "The seat cushion for neck support was not adjustable - the American Airline flights have this functionality to support your neck while you sleep."
Pros: "very relaxing flight"
Pros: "all activities went very smooth. it was a little difficult to hear the boarding announcements but others than that no lines once boarded. I have long legs and there was plenty of room in my coach/window seat to move around."
Pros: "Getting on was clear cut & without hassle. The checked bag fee ($25) was clear & up front. All of the help at the departure gates (both sides, it was a round trip) was friendly & helpful. I don't want problems..."
Cons: "Offering to get me a better seat for $10, it was like I was dealing with a used car salesman. i never did ask (or find out about) the loaner/rental entertainment tablet the flight crew asked for at the end of both flights."
Pros: "Great service, meals and selection of movies."
Cons: "Middle seat was uncomfortable."
Pros: "Had enough leg room."
Pros: "The flight was on time; it was comfortable as possible, and the crew was courteous."
Pros: "Not a frequent flyer, but noticed the new interior of the plane. Nice lighting, new seat design which gave relatively good comfortable support for a plane seat."
Couldn’t have done anything better.
No beverages in first class for over an hour
Pros: "crew was exceptionally kind and helpful. I felt they really cleaned up, sanitized, even participated sanitary clothes and hand sanitizer to everyone."
Cons: "Nothing, perfect. better than expected."
Cons: "Better choices for food"
Pros: "The seats are not fabulous the crew was"
Cons: "They did a good job keeping us informed When we got really delayed"
Pros: "Good seats. Crew was not very hospitable. They went by with water and didn’t give us any. We upgraded for the complementary cocktails and my husband didn’t even get a chance to get one."
Cons: "More attention especially for the upgraded seats that offer complementary things. We got better service in our economy seats on the way to LA. I wouldn’t pay extra to upgrade again."
Pros: "Great crew. Old plane but comfy"
Pros: "I'm really mad about Delta service"
Cons: "bad service"
Pros: "I was fortunately upgraded to 1st class. The flight attendant was adequate. However, did not live up to the level of service I have come to expect."
Cons: "See above"
Pros: "Delta flight are always comfortable."
Cons: "Not having a 3 hour delay."
Pros: "We loved the snacks, the hot towels, the timely beverage service, and great selection of video options."
Cons: "Missed the flight due to the sheer unhelpfulness and incompetence of the gate personnel. They would not let me board, since I was about 10 minutes late. THEN THE PLANE WAS DELAYED FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS!!! I was stranded in NY, overnight, and had to pay hundreds of dollars for a train ticket and a cab."
Pros: "Amazing service and F&B offered was wonderful"
Pros: "They were friendly and prompt, joked with us as they worked. The flight was smooth and on time"
Cons: "It could have left on time or they could have told us they weren’t leaving and let us get some sleep."
Pros: "Put up at the marriot"
Cons: "Got nothing to drink in 4 hours. Crew was LAZY"
Cons: "The “newbies” were excited and loud, the main attendant was very.long.winded.every.single.time.she.spoke."
Pros: "Pilot and his ability to maneuver the turbulence. Also variety of snacks."
Cons: "Felt hot in the plane."
Cons: "I was flying standby. I checked the list on line and my name was number 5. I get to the gate and there’s just a handful of customers. The agent said there was enough seats for the standbys I wait and wait for my name to be called but no luck. My name wasn’t cleared yet. Finally I was the next to last one to get a seat. The gate agent who didn’t ask for my name tells me I was all the down at the bottom of the list. While I am glad that I got on I wish I knew what method is use to get your name on the stand by list?"
Pros: "It is a short trip from Atlanta to Augusta."
Cons: "No complaints...too short of a trip to complain about anything!"
Pros: "Video access"
Cons: "Too hot, too crowded"
Pros: "Great service from ground and flight crew."
Cons: "Not comfortable on today’s packed planes"
Cons: "The fact that I sat on an airplane for over three hours due to a delay and couldnt get off"
Cons: "Small airplane, noissy"
Pros: "Getting off the flight was the best!"
Cons: "The persons who barfed and delayed take off was a not great. Cramped"
Pros: "Good flight. Organized. Friendly flight attendants. I like Delta."
Cons: "Paid for priority seats, but weren't offered the option for my two free drinks due to the flight being short distance."
Pros: "Excellent communication, friendly staff, and timely flight."
Cons: "Overhead bin too small for expect carryons. Should offer free checked bag at check into reduce this delay."
Pros: "Efficient crew. Good movie choices. Clean bath rooms. However - I wish every airline in each bathroom had a notice on the toilet to PLEASE LOWER THE SEAT AND COVER! I prefer using the bathroom after another woman has used it!"
Pros: "The kind bars"
Cons: "They gave a hard time checking in because I didn’t mark I had a lap child. I honestly looked and the website wasn’t clear. Then (Bob who checked me in in Tucson) didn’t bag my car seat. And it came super dirty. I’ve never had an airline not bag the caraway. Especially when I asked. Southwest is a better company to work with. Disappointed"
Pros: "Flight was on time with enough connection time to board with zero issues"
Cons: "No problems on this trip"
Pros: "Delta did a really good job as always. Cheaper, more comfortable, and a WAY better experience than Alaska Airlines."
Pros: "Always nice to be on an American plane out of an American airport.....SO much more professional. :))"
Pros: "i liked that staff and crew were very communicative and pleasant."
Cons: "one crew member didn't show up and caused delayed flight."
Pros: "The Flight Personnel was extremely helpful and kind."
Pros: "Everything went smoothly."
Cons: "Like ALL planes today, too crowded."
Cons: "Spent $130 on a very uncomfortable aisle seat."
Cons: "Had a death in the family and no one would help me get back home"
Cons: "This is my third flight this year with Delta and every time we wait for the "crew" to get off from another flight. And as soon as they get there we can board. It's getting very annoying. Fix it."
Pros: "Decent food . On time arrival !"
Cons: "It was fine"
Cons: "Flight delayed"
Cons: "Super small plane"
Pros: "They offered water and snacks It was quick"
Pros: "When I finally got on a flight (see what I didn't like), the crew was very helpful and the flight was comfortable."
Cons: "When I checked in online, I received boarding passes for the first two legs of the trip, but was told to see a gate agent in Amsterdam for the boarding pass for that flight. It turns out that there was a problem, attributed by one of the KLM staff that I talked with to "a communication problem between Delta and KLM." As a result, I was finally given a stand-by boarding pass. Since the flight was full, I was denied boarding. After hours of trying to figure this out, the KLM staff put me on a flight for the next day and organized a stay at an airport hotel. The KLM staff were very nice, but it seemed to take a very long time to figure this out. They also failed to note that the denial of boarding in the records, which caused a problem in my return flight. The upshot: I missed a follow-on flight to Budapest and had to pay a huge rebooking fee for that missed flight. I also missed a day of my vacation."
Pros: "There was a blanket and pillow available on the seat and the arm rests (all of them) went up... I appreciated that when I had to move mid flight. The attendants were nice as always... they weren't stingy with the small free snack that is included with the flight. (Small bag of peanuts or pretzels) that I liked. Usually feel like it is an inconvenience to ask for more than one.... but they offered 2! I was very happy to hear that!!"
Cons: "The entertainment was a bonus! Made the flight go by faster."
Cons: "Flight cancelled at 8:30 p.m. the night before when we were going to bed at the airport. Ability to get rebooked a nightmare."
Pros: "All computers down. Cancelled flight. Spent night in airport. No accommodations. No food or drink."
Maintenance delay for 2 hours after Canceling my flight earlier in the week. So typical for this poorly run airline. Will make better choices for future flights.
I think the flight attendant and first class was terrific, but whoever had to work in coach where I say didn’t seem happy about it, extremely mediocre service, not friendly, just putting 1 foot in front of the other. Just seemed “over it.”
It was a smooth, uneventful ride. The staff was very friendly. The overhead compartments were a little small for my hiking style backpack, but I made it work.
Cons: "The WiFi could have worked"
Pros: "The airlines bumped us up to better seats without us asking!"
Cons: "They could start by not allowing a non-compliant passenger ON THE PLANE. When he was already not compliant in the damn terminal. (Dude didn’t wanna wear a mask) forced the captain to circle back and screw our timing for our connecting flight. You might say, how can we blame AA, well, because they chose to allow him to become a problem and then exasperated it by allowing him in the damn door of the plane. Now we got stuck in Charlotte for the night. Nothing like being late for your Grandma’s funeral. Pathetic AA! PATHETIC!"
Cons: "Nothing--everything was great--perhaps the best service I've ever received."
Pros: "The crew was extra helpful - Help was easy to find and the crowds manageable. As a bonus, our flight arrived at the destination 30 minutes early."
Pros: "Everything was great. I especially liked the enter active map that showed some towns and lakes we flew over and the speed and elevation of the aircraft."
Cons: "More details on the map, for example, show landforms, mountain ranges, major roadways, rivers, etc."
Cons: "The experience was excellent."
Cons: "No wifi or entertainment was available. Food was mediocre."
Cons: "I already complained about the lateness of airlines. So it all still stands"
Cons: "Confusion over plane boarding"
Cons: "App continued to crash. Couldnt watch movies."
Cons: "Never made it. Stranded at LAX."
Pros: "CREW WAS GREAT AT BOARDING GATE AND IN FLIGHT."
Cons: "LEFT 30 MIN LATE, DUE TO CONNECTING FLIGHT."
Cons: "Flight was canceled"
Pros: "Travel time was great"
Pros: "Phoenix based First Class flight attendant Kathleen Brown was very positive and called me by name...gave her an “above and beyond” voucher."
Cons: "No electrical outlets at seat."
Pros: "Getting off the plane after 3+ hour flight and 45 mins taxi and waiting for gate"
Cons: "Bought our tickets months ago, 2 travelers , myself and wife. Couldn't seat together. Our baggage ( Small backpack and a hardside roller we bought cause it would fit under the seat. Guess what I know they changed the size of the underseat bag . We had it checked going to PHX ,no issue on the way back $50. I'm done with American Airlines and Kayak."
Pros: "Totally fine"
Cons: "It was fine"
Pros: "The plane had really soft, puffy, comfy headrests. These were the best headrests I've ever encountered on any flight. I wish these were on every plane."
Cons: "1. Departure gate gets inexplicably moved to an entirely different concourse. 2. Gate agent offers to check bags through to destination, then when I go up, offers to gate-tag my bag. Why did you say you could check the bags through, then? 3. The long, ridiculous AA boarding process consisting of 9 groups and 2 short lanes, taking about 20 minutes to get 30 people outside. 4. 30 people wander around outside on the tarmac, trying to find a sign for Albuquerque. 5. BAGGAGE HANDLERS tell some of the passengers that the planes have been switched, and we should now board the plane marked Flagstaff. 6. Gate agents come outside, receive information from -- again -- BAGGAGE HANDLERS -- and then tell everyone to go back inside. 7. Once inside, gate agents tell passengers they have no idea what is going on, where they will be departing from, or when. 8. Gate agents tell passengers to go through the (long, ridiculous) boarding process a second time, and get on the second plane on the left. 9. A couple of PASSENGERS remind the gate agent that the baggage handlers specifically said that plane was not going to Albuquerque. 10. Gate agents change their minds, and tell passengers to get on a different plane. 11. We finally get on the damn plane."
Pros: "The counter attendant was helpful in changing our seats so could sit together."
Cons: "The flight attendant when first boarding was extremely rude. We had a bag we brought on three previous legs of our total travel which was considered by all of the other attendants as a personal item. This particular attendant very rudely informed us it was not, and we needed to check it. When we tried to explain the previous flights she responded with “I just explained this to the other passengers...it’s not allowed.” We didn’t argue, and gave the bag to the personnel in attendance, but the tone for the duration of the flight continued."
Pros: "The flight out was really comfortable but the flight back was a little cramped. The crew was great."
Cons: "The return flight"
Pros: "Full flight, crew worked timely"
Cons: "The fact that your company doesn't want to give me some sort of compensation for being delayed and missing my connecting flight and having to get a hotel."
Pros: "Nice seats, friendly staff and crew."
Cons: "Boarding groups are not clearly announced-and with the threat of checked baggage this makes people angry and spiteful to other passengers. They forgot to bring the immigration forms onboard, only had the customs. They didn't give us pens/pencils to fill out the customs form. This made offboarding confusing and messy. What entertainment? No screens."
Cons: "Airline throughout mentioned connecting flight passengers are okay as the flight will land almost at the scheduled arrival time but once onboard bluntly announced that we don't have further information. This is cheating"
Cons: "Watched a very weird interaction between Muslim (with a hajib) women with a kiddo and desk crew. She wanted to sit next to her child on the flight and needed to switch seats to be able to. Woman was very gracious and understanding that she was asking for an accommodation. Ends up her flight to Philly had been moved to a different gate after they had found a volunteer to switch seats. Volunteer was totally unfazed but Desk crew made it seem as tho the Muslim mom was at fault for the time and trouble they had had to go through to accommodate her. She apologized profusely and was very appreciative for the trouble evernote had gone to for her. . As she walked away the crew looked at each other and shook their heads. Pretty crummy way to treat customers!"
Pros: "The trip was on time and with no issues flying. I really enjoyed the ability to watch a movie...this was AWESOME!"
Cons: "Wow, the seating was VERY tight and I was happy for the TV screen in front of me to keep me busy. All the inflight interruptions on the movie I was watching."
Pros: "This flight was amazing! The crew was friendly and helped me when I had a panic attack from flying. It was very appreciated"
Pros: "I made it home."
Cons: "No entertainment on the flight, no plugs so my phone died, as I almost missed this flight due to my first leg being late, so I was very bored on this plane."
Pros: "Everything went smooth. Staff were professional and friendly"
Cons: " the "group system" boarding process arranges passengers in an aleatory way making the process totally chaotic. For instance last groups are the last ones to enter the aircraft and don't easily find space for the hand luggage. They have to accommodate bags under the front seat making the already uncomfortable trip more painful. Also this process may delay the departure time. Food service is terrible. no options, specially for kids or people with food restrictions. Not even the payed ones offer healthy food alternatives. No comfort at all for a flight that departs little before midnight and arrives at 7 am at its destination. They forgot about the pillows and blankets you find in other airlines. at the end, when I collected my baggage I realized 1 wheel was missing from one of my suitcases. I informed the airline and 3 days later I receive an email saying that the airline is not responsible for damages that include wheels and other "baggage accessories" I did not rate the flight poor because at least it manages to arrive to its final destination..."
Pros: "THAT i WAS ABLE TO TRAVEL AND GET TO MY DESTINATION."
Cons: "WITH A CODE-SHARE, THE TICKET SHOULD SPECIFY WHICH CARRIER I WILL ACTUALLY FLY WITH. THIS WAS NOT DONE AND I ALMOST MISSED MY FLIGHT BECAUSE ALASKA AND AMERICAN ARE IN 2 DIFFERENT - VERY DIFFERENT TERMINALS. THEN THE LOBBY AGENT COULD NOT LOCATE ALASKA FLIGHT ON THE AMERICAN TERMINAL - ANOTHER DELAY. POOR EXPERIENCE OVERALL."
Cons: "We were downgraded from Main Cabin Extra rows 7 and 8 to row 30. We were told that we will get refund automatically. However, we received nothing. Getting a refund back is now becomes a very complicated process with zero transparency. Main Cabin Extra is kind of a scam. We bought it specifically for an extra leg room. However, on the flight from PHX to BOS, all seats in the economy class have the same leg room. The agent explicitly told us that on this plane all seats are the same. So, they offer product they do not have and collect money. Sounds like a scam to me."
Cons: "I was supposed to be in stand by and the screen continue showing I could go to the counter and get a seat and I have to wait till the end so that I was going to be given a middle seat. I said forget about it, to pay 75 dlls for a change of ticket and you make me wait till the end to give me seat u want, forget it, I know this is stand by ticket but I dont like the attitude of the people, they dont help you at all really bad service you should learn from other airlines giving at least if you are delayed an apology and sometimes miles reward, not just food... Thanks for the SERVICE (i dont flight with you no more, even though cheap flights, but cheap things are expensive)"
Pros: "After having AA 776 cancelled due to an East Coast snow storm, we were rebooked and flew a day later on AA 669 which operated safely and on time."
Cons: "Seats on Airbus 321 in row 4 do not recline fully; no power outlets at seats; pilots were uninformative with any scenic details during flight, merely providing the usual departure and arrival information in a very impersonal manner."
Pros: "Standard flight , however I can't believe what most passengers bring on as cabin baggage !!"
Cons: "Evening meal of a turkey sandwich on dry bread was forgettable and considering that they co-share with Qantas , American could learn about providing a decent meal on a long expensive flight"
Pros: "Smooth flight home from Cancun."
Cons: "Late arrival."
Pros: "None at all. Very poor customer service."
Cons: "Very poor customer service. Flight attendant name Daryl H. Colored male , declined to help me put my carry on luggage onto the over head bin. Instead he scolded me not to bring carry on luggage if I can't put it in. The bin wax too high for me . I'm 4'10 inc tall and unable to reach the over head bin. And Daryl H, was sitting on my paid chair. A nice passenger offer his help and put the carry on to the bin. I will not book this airline again."
Cons: "The flight was continuously delayed and ultimately cancelled. There weren't a lot of connecting flights until much later the next day, and the customer service was fair at best."
Pros: "The pilot was very helpful And his crew extremely nice to me with much patients thank god for that crew"
Cons: "I never was looking forward to not having the help I solely deserved when in dallis as I needed help with my wheel Cheer there was no help available to me so I had to do everything completely alone as the pilot and his crew helped me out of the Aircraft entering into Chicago I thank god for that crew I fliy often however this was so unreal what I had to indure when headed back home to Scottsdale' AZ after visiting my husband in Columbus Ohio perhaps I'll find another airline to use hopefully ii will get the help I truly need"
Cons: "When it came to filling out our visa as we enter into Mexico, they handed out the paperwork as we were Landing I expected us to fill that out wild herring bounced around"
Cons: "There was no more room on the plane so me and 10 other passengers had to wait 3 hrs for next flight."
Pros: "The young woman running the admirals club front desk was excellent Friday July 29"
Pros: "Offered food."
Cons: "Communication from kayak/American Airlines was delayed, inaccurate and slow about the massive delay in the flight. Spent almost my whole day at the airport. Had to change my flight; the new one was also delayed by 2 hours."
Pros: "We got home safely and my seat was comfortable. I liked the entertainment with access to pick my own movie."
Cons: "It was a mad house at the gate. I couldn't get an assigned seat until the last minute. I had to feel lucky to get a seat. There was no where to sit and eat my lunch in the wait area while I waited for your staff to find 5 volunteers to get off the flight. I could not hear announcements due to the low volume at our gate. I had to crawl through a huge line at the gate to board as group 1 had been called and I couldn't hear them. there was no crowd control with two airline employees at the gate who clearly needed some back up to handle a crowd that large. They were courteous and professional but the situation they had to handle was a larger problem that was beyond them. Once on the plane there was no announcement about whether there would be a meal. We got two drinks and a bag of pretzels on what should have been a dinner flight. A 5 hr flight warrants something more than a bag of pretzels. It was hot and stuffy on the plane."
Pros: "The flight staff was efficient boarding people and were pleasant despite the close quarters, full plane and bumpy turbulence."
Cons: "The boarding crew woman was completely and unnecessarily rude. I have a small purse I had gotten out of my backpack to get my boarding pass that she insisted I put back in my backpack before loading. I understand the concept and reason for the request but the manner in which she did it was so uncalled for. I don't recal a time in which I've been spoken to in that manner in a very long time. While I was doing it (it took literally 5 seconds), she was screaming at me to walk over to the side and lose my place in line. After I quickly put it in she screams it must go in all the way, which it was. There wasn't even a bulge from it and it closed with ease. I'd be happy to provide a picture of my small backpack/purse."
Pros: "Airline crew did everything to keep us comfortable during the flight"
Pros: "great seats and flight"
Cons: "not that i can think of"
Pros: "Beautiful views of the mountains."
Cons: "Was delayed for hours and missed my shuttle to Bellingham. Nearly ruined my trip."
Pros: "Flight landed early"
Pros: "Crew was friendly."
Cons: "Flight delayed!"
Pros: "The seats were very spacious, the ground and cabin crew were very courteous and the entire flight went smooth."
Cons: "No In-Flight Wi-Fi."
Pros: "The flight attendants were very courteous."
Cons: "Seats are way too close together. I am 6’ tall and if I wasn’t sitting with my rear pressed against the back of the seat, my knees were jammed into the seat in front of me. Zero elbow room. I’m fairly skinny and still thank god I had the aisle seat because with arms at my sides, my shoulders touched the small woman next to me and stuck into the aisle so that when the drink cart came by I had to physically lean toward the windows to get out of the way. No entertainment unless paid for, which is fine, except that the flight attendant and the announcements both stated that at least a movie was included. Outdated jet. No where to charge anything. Couldn’t work on my computer because to type, my elbow took up most of the other persons seat."
Cons: "We were stuck on the tarmac waiting for a gate for an hour and a half once we arrived in Atlanta. Other than that, everything was fine."
Pros: "Clean plans, smooth landing."
Cons: "United Economy basic was still expensive yet you don’t get a carry on bag"
Pros: "I like that the process was very smooth in San Fransisco, boarding, crew, etc"
Cons: "I waited 45 minutes because my bag got loss in the ATL airport."
Pros: "The price was unreal so I had to jump on this, I was able to get on and off with my backpack no problem. The flights were good, captains were very communicative about times, expectations and when turbulence was present."
Cons: "The check in had to be done in person because of the need to check my bag size, I felt a little insulted that I would have to be checked on my honesty. When I got to the check in it was like watching a special forces team measuring and prodding peoples bags to get them in to the little box even when the shapes were the reason they couldn't fit, not the size of the bags. I literally watched someone fit their bag and the attendant take it out and make it misshaped for the box and show how it didn't slide in. I had no issues with my luggage, but that sucked to watch happen to others. The food and drinks came about 10 minutes before the plane landed."
Pros: "Flight on time. Friendly staff."
Cons: "Seats were uncomfortably close together but not unexpectedly for coach. Plane was 80+ degrees until after takeoff. I bet that the snack box was going to be disappointing and i lost $9. It was surprisingly good."
Cons: "An extra agent who was rude was having passengers check size of their bags and we had to check our carry on that we had fit above on previous 3 flights. Her statement to us was : “If you don’t like it we’ll have you checked on to another flight tomorrow morning”. She seemed to stop passengers she could intimidate, I’m not used to being treated rudely by service providers! I’m sure they wanted to reduce the passenger loading time, but rudeness is not acceptable!"
Pros: "The flight from Frankfurt to Chicago arrived late, had to collect bags and clear customs which delayed transfer, had to go from one end of the airport to the other on a train which operated very slow which delayed transfer, had to then clear TSA security checks which were very slow and again delayed transfer. Moving at the max speed we were capable of, we arrived at the opposite end of the airport too late to board and were left behind. United was not very sympathetic, although provided ticket for next morning flight. The entire experience was very disappointing following what was a decent tour of Italy."
Cons: "Long lines at the terminal that's primarily United; overbooked and needed volunteers to give up their seats which caused a 40 minute delay; uncomfortable seats and waited for 45 minutes on the tarmac because apparently they can't connect to the gate in the rain"
Cons: "They made me check my carry on when there was plenty space in over head"
Pros: "Comfortable even though this was a small aircraft."
Cons: "Registration and baggage process at Dulles airport for 7 a.m. was chaotic. Unsure if the automated process relieves crowds or time to check-in. Lines were long and not enough attendants to take care of issues that were occurring at kiosks."
Pros: "The flight landed ahead of schedule."
Cons: "I had to pay $75 extra because I redeemed miles for my trip and it was purchased around 20 days before the trip. Ridiculous, their customer service is the worst, and their fees are ridiculous too and the service is the worst. Their CEO and upper management need to be changed, and they need to become passenger focused like Southwest."
Cons: "The plane had 11 people on it and I can see why they are losing customers bad business practices."
Cons: "I was not contacted about flight delay. I believe that was the purpose of collecting cell numbers. Also the gate was down stairs with no elevator or operationing escalator. I have bad knees and had to walk down the steps with my luggage. The escalator only start working 10 minutes before boarding. Also they overbooked the flight and there was no room for my carryon luggage. They put it underneath and when I got it back it was all torn up. Seats were cramped not enough leg room."
Pros: "The flight attendants we very nice and helpful."
Cons: "Changed my boarding gate and I barely noticed in time to make my flight."
Pros: "The flight wasn't too packed."
Cons: "My husband and I flew from Newark to Atlanta on 03/12/2017 with United. My husband is active duty military and Alicia assisted us with checking in our baggage. She was very kind and helpful. After retrieving our tickets, we went through Security and my goodness, the process at Newark is awful and TSA WAS EXTREMELY RUDE. That's besides the point. Our flight was delayed because the pilot was not there. Our departure was at 0605 and we didn't leave until 0630. Everyone boarded the plane and we were waiting for the pilot. Then the crew members were pretty rude and not friendly. I know it's an early bird flight but jeez, they can be a little nicer. One stewardess had high heel boots and literally would stomp up and down the aisle. Then she kept saying my purse was not under my seat which it clearly was. I don't know where else she'd like me to put it, maybe in the passengers seat in front of me. I would probably not fly United unless I have no other choice."
Pros: "Organized boarding"
Cons: "Very cramped"
Cons: "How can an airline justify not serving a meal on a 5+ hour flight? No wonder there is not a single American Airliner in the world's best airlines, service and customers are not the priority."
Pros: "Boarding was well-organized and fairly quick. But be ready to check your bag at the gate, even if it's the right size for a carry-on..."
Cons: "The plane's seats are very uncomfortable, security in Newark took a long time, and there isn't enough space on the plane for everyone to have a carry-on bag (or at least that's how the flight and gate crew treated many of us when they forced us to check our bags at the gate, despite there being plenty of room after everyone was boarded)."
Cons: "My flight email itenerary was about 45 late So when I got to the airport my flight had already left. Makes for a sucky experience having to buy a whole other ticket at full cost."
Pros: "We'll coordinated."
Pros: "The snack was nice for the short flight"
Cons: "We did not get Headsets at all. We asked flight attendant for headsets and he told us the would come around passing them out. Never happened"
Pros: "We were early. I bought economy plus."
Cons: "No complaints"
Pros: "I made it home"
Cons: "When I got to the ticket counter my reservations had been canceled by united. Worst part is the flight is now completely booked. I was lucky enough to make the flight thanks to a late flight from vegas where 7 people were connecting from but it was pretty stressful to walk up to the counter to be told the reservation you have had for 2 months was no longer reserved. This was one of the rudest staffed planes I've been on. These guys aren't over worked. I don't know why they can be so hateful. I loved united but this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. It all worked out in the end, but I still can't follow why my flight reservation was canceled without me being notified. I shouldn't find something like that out when I get to the airport with my luggage in my hand."
Pros: "From Chicago to Atlanta my flight was great! It was much more spacious and just an overall enjoyable trip."
Cons: "My flight from Atlanta to Chicago was limited in space, uncomfortable, and overall not the best."
Pros: "It was on time"
Cons: "Nothing was bad, completely average. Nothing impressive either."
Pros: "The off boarding was quick"
Cons: "I paid for the extra comfort seat and this seat does not recline. My back is sore from sitting up for the whole time. Also the delays were horrible. 3 hours delayed for an 1 HR flight."
Pros: "The entertainment"
Cons: "I didnt like how i had chosen a seat a month before the flight and then its like i never asked for one"
Pros: "Efficient service"
Cons: "The crew was not very helpful with my concerns. As well, there was a handicapped man sitting on my roway and he received insufficient service."
Pros: "The crew was nice"
Cons: "There was neither WiFi nor in flight entertainment available which made the entire flight a drag"
Pros: "Easily the best flight of our entire trip. Airplanes was nicer so the others couldn't help that but the crew was outstanding on this flight. All of them were amazing! Kindness is what the world needs and all three were wonderful. The comfort was also the best on this plane. This was the first time flying with United."
Cons: "Problem was after the flight. My luggage was lost. This was the first trip with United so I'm not sure about the future. This was the first time my luggage has ever been misplaced."
Pros: "Flight speed was fast in arriving and pilot updating us was the best"
Cons: "Crowded cramped"
Pros: "It was just a mediocre domestic flight. Nothing special."
Cons: "No movies to watch for free."
Pros: "I liked that I wasn't flying standby. The man in charge of scanning tickets and boarding was very nice also."
Cons: "The comfort was terrible, no technology or internet options unless you paid, seats were not comfortable. Thank goodness I was by the window. There were so many screaming kids. It should be an option to choose kid friendly planes."
Cons: "I was in a middle seat and the woman next to me required a seatbelt extension- which in my opinion means she should have purchased 2 seats. Why should I pay full price for 3/4 of a seat because the woman next to me is overweight?? Moral of the story: Seatbelt extensions = BUY AN EXTRA SEAT!"
Pros: "Only thing I like was the coke they provided."
Cons: "There was one flight attend the only woman who was rude and very disrespect. Her attitude towards people and how she spoke to others was very unacceptable. The boarding was horrible because we had to step off the plan to let others out who didn't have room for their bags. I am not going to say the entire crew was horrible just her."
Cons: "Updates to delays not informed in a mannerly order"
Cons: "It was very hot, it seemed as if the AC was broken."
Pros: "Arrived 40 minutes early and the boarding process was orderly with boarding by sections"
Cons: "The food"
Cons: "The flight was delayed 2 1/2 hours due to a mechanical problem. They found a different plane to switch with the original plane. They pushed back the estimated departure time about 10 times."
Pros: "I love the check in process!! You go to a kiosk and print your boarding pass and luggage tag and then just go and hand in your bag to an agent. Soooo easy. Then no ones in line forever. I was very impressed with the little extra amount of leg space that is not always on most planes. The flight wasn't very full and the crew was kind and generous with a couple of us wanting to switch our seats around. The tvs in the back of the headrest definitely kept me occupied watching New Girl. Overall, I was very comfortable and got to my destination without getting upset or angry once...which can't be said for all airlines."
Cons: "The security line for united in Newark was RIDICULOUS! It didn't take very long to get through...maybe 30-45 minutes (which I planned for) but the line snaked through two floors and wrapped through the check in area. It just looked incredibly daunting. But I realize that there isn't really much that can be done about that!"
Pros: "The crew members are very nice."
Cons: "The delayed flight. I want to change the times of my return date due to the delay but I received no assistance."
The flight was on par with any flight zI had ever taken. the airport was extremely hard to navigate, harder than Ohare, in Chicago !
Pros: "Affordable pricing, plane itself seemed to be in good condition. All of the crew was pleasant except one employee."
Cons: "I was embarrassed by the crew member as I was finding my seat. She asked if I had relation to the gentleman who I was to be sat next to. Once he and I replied no, they began laughing. I asked what was so funny and another guest said "it's going to be a long flight", to which she replied "Maybe you will, but I won't." She also told me that I couldn't keep my 11 month old child in the carrier but failed to mention she's only not permitted in the carrier during take off and landing. This also made for an uncomfortable ride. Had these things not occurred I would given this flight a much higher rating."
Pros: "Spirit Airline Flight crew was pleasant and professional."
Cons: "Atlanta Hartsville TSA was highly unprofessional and extremely rude. As an Active Army Senior Non Commissioned Officer of 21 yrs I traveled quite a bit within the United States and overseas, and I have never witnessed or experienced a TSA/ security crew as unprofessional as the Atlanta Hartsville crew. They talked down to the customers and have no regards for customers with special circumstances. I was personally not affected but what I witnessed was the disgusting. I highly recommend that the Atlanta TSA be inspected/assessed on their customer service. Yours, 1SG Maurice Carter 315-262-3209"
Cons: "When flying frontier you know you're flying frontier for a low price certainly not the experience. My flight to my destination was fine ( no frills but fine) . My flight back home was Cancelled due to an airport issue ( not frontier's fault) however their overseas " reschedule flight line" provided little to no help to get me home. They simply did not have the trading or care to help their customers to get home. Their sentiment was " so your flight was cancelled what do you want us to do about it?" Very poor experience!"
Cons: "It was a horrible experience that I have. They dropped us off Tennessee airport instead of Atlanta because of the power off. They made us sat on the airplane for almost 2 hrs then tell us to get out in Tennessee airport. They offered no compensation or direct us how to get back to GA. Everyone was so upset, we basically got stranded in Tennessee. We ask customer service for help, they told us that there was nothing we can do!!!!!! They told us to call the head quarter. And of course after waiting on the line for half an hour, they told us the same thing that we should talk to customer service at the airport. REALLY!!!!!!! We just been through it. I was exhausted and had no way to get back home to GA. My parents had to drive 8 hrs from Atlanta to Tennessee to pick me up. IT was not fair that they do that to us. It was not our fault that we got stranded. They should have offered us cars rental or hotels to accommodate . I would never flight with them again!!!"
Pros: "The price of the flight was great, but even with an upgraded seat I will not be flying Frontier again."
Cons: "I upgraded my girlfriend and I to stretch seating for our 5 hour flights roundtrip from ATL to SFO. I did not realize by upgrading and selecting my seat in row 4 that my seats do not recline. This caused several issues with my bad back and with the fold down tray on the seat in front of me. I had my laptop on the tray, and when the person in front of me leaned his seat back all the way suddenly, it pinched the top of the screen between the tray and the back of his seat and cracked my laptop exterior. The main issue was not being able to "stretch" by not having a reclining seat and experienced major discomfort and back pain both flights."
Pros: "Pretty much nothing. I'M SORRY AS IT WAS MY FIRST TIME AND I have to tell you that I m usually pretty low maintenance....but damn ....this was was brutal! Price was was great... but not worth the experience."
Cons: "Seat comfort, cattle care of crew, no movie, no real food....you name it."
Pros: "i was at the gate to get on the plane. there was two minutes left before they were supposed to close the doors for take off wouldnt let me on the plane. i had to set there for over 15 minutes with the plane on the ground trying to figure out how to get to my destination. the attent was trying to help but then left there post before i could figure out what to do. totally unacceptable due to me being a minor and not aiding and assisting to the fullest. i had to leave the airport without a way to my destination because everyone left all posts all three gates and the baggage check in area was closed for over 5 hours. my father had to call and get me on the next available flight. they charged him a 100 dollar fee for changing my flight."
Pros: "The ticket was cheap. My flight from Atlanta was as good as anything I could expect. It was very smooth, no waiting, and I was upgraded at the gate to an exit row. To Atlanta, wasn't as nice. But still an affordable ticket."
Cons: "On my way home to Atlanta, they left my Prechk off my tickets and I got relegated to a center seat (which is very hard for me because I'm claustrophobic). I understand that Frontier is cutting costs as much as possible to provide cheap tickets, of that I am truly grateful, but the fact that they won't even provide you water free seems a bit much. There are probably a lot of people who don't know this and dehydration is vicious on a flight so crammed in. Also, I can understand no entertainment whatsoever on a hop flight (less than 2 hours), but nothing at all on a 4 hour flight also seems hard to understand. Heck, even a magazine would have been nice, but where would they put it?"
Pros: "The staff that handled baggage was nice. Also, I liked that we made it safe."
Cons: "My flight was supposed to leave at 3:50...I got to the airport and went through security before I found out that my flight was delayed until 7:30. The flight kept getting pushed back. I waited 8 hours before the flight took off. There no outlets anywhere...leaving customers at a disadvantage because with our delay, our electronics were all almost dead or dead. There were no food options. We were supposed to get a voucher, and I have not received it. Lastly, after waiting over 8 HOuRS, we still had to pay for snack and drink. I was ripped off and will not be flying with Frontier again."
Pros: "There was a very sensitive situation that occurred with a passenger. She had been in the wrong seat, and was asked to show the ticket for the proper seat and didn't have a ticket. The steward asked very professionally and calmly for the passenger to cooperate for the situation to be resolved. She was not cooperative to be polite. The security came and the the pilot, and everyone handled the situation very well. The last time she was asked to cooperate, she finally walked off the plane, on her own. My understanding is that she missed her original flight and boarded this plane. Not certain of the details, but I feel that everyone involved handled this very well."
Pros: "I arrived to my destinations on time....that is all."
Cons: "The whole negative experience started with having to pay for my carry on. Yes, this was my fault for not knowing or expecting the extra $45 each way for my carry on. Water was not given during the three hour flight - you pay for all refreshments! The planes feel like a budget experience with cheap fold down trays and arm rests that slam down making lots of noise, and there is very little foom under the seat to put a small bag. My same small back pack that fits under other airlines seats wasn't even close to going under forcing me to straddle for the the entire flight. I will NOT use Frontier again. The airline feels like Alligeant that costs much less. I'll stick with Southwest!"
Cons: "At no time was I made aware during my booking that they were going to charge for a carry on. It ended up adding $75 to my flight. Paying extra for sodas and for your seats. Seats that made riding a city bus seem like first class. The plane seemed like they bought it at the used plane lot, it even made noises in Flight that sounded like they had to restart the engine. Flight attendants that were rude and unhelpful. I'd rather spend the extra $ for a more dependable/reliable airline that doesn't run their business a la carte."
Pros: "The pilot was extremely nice!"
Cons: "My husband was boarded last which is always awkward when going down the isles in an isle chair. You end up saying excuse me several times not to mention all eyes are on you. Not easy to sleep on the plane. Seats were not that comfortable. Not able to recline. We were towards the back and the flight crew had the bright light on not to mention they were talking about their experiences with other people on different flights. We had to wait for 20 mins for someone to come get my husband off the plane even after notifying the appropriate people. The Atlanta staff when arriving was extremely rude and unfriendly during a non-busy time. That was the worse experience we've ever had!!!"
Pros: "Nothing other than getting from Phoenix to Atlanta"
Cons: "The baggage check in process at Phoenix is a complete joke. What is the point of prepaying for baggage on line if you still have to stand in line for over half an hour while you watch other passengers drop their jaws when they find out how much checking a bag costs, have the agents explaining the process and the price, fumbling for credit cards, processing the payments, etc, then, when you finally get to your turn, you are out of there in 30 seconds. There should be at lease one agent at all times who is dedicated to serving the passengers who do not need to pay. They should be in and out, not standing in line, when there is no payment to process. Then there is the total joke of the refreshments sales process on board the flight. It's not even worth going into that since I will never board another Frontier flight."
Cons: "I used to fly with Frontier regularly years ago without any major issues. So when I saw the cheap fares, i booked without even thinking about it. After discovering that they charge you for every little thing including a carry-on bag, i got a bit concerned. Then my flight was cancelled the night before my early morning flight, which Google informed me of at least 2 hours before Frontier did. After almost 2 hours on hold, I was told they could get me to my destination in 5 days...are you kidding me?!?! I ended up cancelling my whole reservation and booking last minute with another airline. Frontier sent me vouchers for my inconvenience, but I'm not sure I'll even use them as I'll be using other airlines in the future."
Pros: "The crew was very friendly."
Cons: "Every part of Frontier's system seems designed as a screw-you to customers. For example, I tried to pay for bags online, but the website and app were both down. But if you talk to a person, they charge you more money. The phone system is awful - it is extremely difficult to get to a live person. If you say 'operator' or 'representative,' the computer can't understand you, and will hang up on you. Also, they strongly push you to check bags (as they charge for carry-on), and the waits were incredibly long to pick up bags. It was slow on one end of our trip, and on the other, our bags didn't come out for an hour and forty minutes. The headache is not worth Frontier's rates being (slightly) cheaper."
Pros: "The pilot performed a really soft landing."
Cons: "Ignoring the fact that I had to pay $45 dollars for my carry on bag even tho it fit in the "tester box", I could barely fit on my seat and I'm not an overweight person. I'm just tall and my knees where touching the seat in front of mine. Without payin attention to that either, I spent my entire flight next to a kid that was constantly making noise, banging the tray, and hitting the sit with his heels for four and a half hours. Besides all that I was not offered water and I had to ask if I could have some."
Pros: "Not much to like other than the cost of the ticket, they kept us unmoving on the runway for almost an hour, before taking off, boarding was at 2:50 pm, flight was supposed to be 3:25 pm, we didn't actually take off till 4:15, scheduled arrival was at 9 pm, and we arrived 9:20, and weren't able to deplane till 9:35, and ended up standing around baggage claim for over thirty mins waiting for our luggage, frontier might have some good ticket prices, but next time I'm willing to pay more, if it means better service"
Pros: "I wish I had something nice to say..."
Cons: "4 hour delay due to a maintenance issue that we were not made aware of until 2 hours into the delay. The staff were INCREDIBLY rude and were mocking and making fun of passengers ( I was seated in the last row and could hear EVERYTHING! Also, the crew did very little during flight time. They instead sat in the back and played inappropriate games like Never Have I Ever and Truth or Daresnd spoke about topics like Sex...mind you that there was a 9 year old little girl seated next to me. By far the worst flight experience in my 30 years of flying ."
Cons: "Outbound flight: Delayed by 2 hours. Returning Flight: Waited in line 2 hours just to check our bag. There was only one person working the bag drop counter and we were nearly late for our flight (we had 15 mins to get through security). We had to sprint through the airport, only to find out our flight was delayed by 2.5 hours. The airline lost half of our planes luggage, we were at the airport until 2:30 am filing claims and still came home empty handed. Overall, terrible experience, terrible customer service, hidden fees all over the place - I would never recommend Frontier to anyone."
Pros: "I paid a bit more and got one of the seats with extra leg-room at the very front of the cabin. Not only was it great to not have someone reclining so far into my lap I couldn't read or do anything else, but the dividers between the seats were comfortable."
Cons: "The staff on my flight out was excellent, the one on the way back was okay. I had someone two seats away on my row who not only slugged down three vodkas in a row once we were in the air, complained about his lack of leg room, kept using the seat between us as part of his personal space and generally made himself obnoxious to me while the staff did nothing to help, but they offered to sell him more alcohol on their return pass. It wasn't as bad as the trip with the drunk white rapper who rapped at me all the way back from Vegas once, but I do wish the staff had encouraged him to move or allowed me that opportunity as the flight was not full. I do hate having to pay for a carry-on as well as a better seat, especially when some people were carrying on oversized bags and space was already very limited even though I boarded in Zone 1 and my luggage and purse were both stored several containers back and the staff did nothing to help me retrieve either after landing."
Pros: "Attendants were helpful and friendly."
Cons: "I did not like the surprise that I had to pay ANY fee, much less such a high fee, for a carry on and luggage. Therefore, what I thought was an incentive to fly Frontier because I felt as though I was getting a great deal, became Just another money-grabbing corporation who I felt was insincere upfront about the added charges. This made My flight even more than I would have paid total for a larger and more well-known carrier. Therefore, no more incentive To use Frontier.... Disappointed... In addition, the tray table was so small it was virtually useless. At least the service Was good....Cokes should not really be at a cost, since the fare was higher than a larger carrier. Hmmmm....."
Pros: "The Customer Service telephone agent and the check in/baggage drop agents were all very nice and helpful. The pilots did an excellent job of providing an uneventful, peaceful, safe, and gentle flight. Takeoff and landing were great on both the inbound and outbound flights. I was able to get to my destination and return home safely on both flights which was my major objective."
Cons: "At least 1-2 flight attendants on both flights, in general, were quite rude and seemed uncaring at times to the needs of some of the other passengers. From chewing and smacking gum, using their cellphones while standing in the aisles amongst the passengers during boarding, and appearing quite irritated/short when interacting with passengers, it seems to me customer service was not a big priority in their training course and/or job requirements. I sat in an "upgraded" ($16 extra), economy, aisle seat, not located immediately in front of or in between the window exits on my outbound flight and in a middle, non-upgraded, economy seat near the back of the plane on my inbound flight. Neither seat was able to recline and both were quite rigid and almost painful to sit in during the flight. I have flown many times throughout my 46 year life, but these had to be the most uncomfortable seats I have ever had on a flight. I understand about saving money and using a no-frills airline carrier, but I think some of the issues mentioned could have been improved without adding any increased cost."
Pros: "I like the fact that I was a really really smooth flight. The attendants was pretty cool, very professional. I was able to get a seat in the front row which was super awesome."
Cons: "What was really a bit upsetting for me was, when I went to check in at the front desk, the airline attendant was helpful and very professional. My boarding pass did not have the gate number printed on it, and I didn't even notice it until I got passed TSA. I felt like it was the attendant responsiblity to make sure everything on the boarding pass was correct, and my reason for saying so is I was too busy or focused on getting to security and thinking about the rest of my travel. it was just my luck that I remember to check my online itinerary that was sent to me via email to see the gate number. I know this may not be the airlines fault, but On my flight we left ahead of time and landed super on time, but still spend almost an HOUR!!! due to some maintenance issue at the gate in Atlanta. It was an horrible experience, I had a meeting I was suppose to be at at 8am. Everything was going so right with the flight I felt like I was going to make it. I just felt that the entire situation could have been handle a bit better :("
Cons: "The crew on board seemed to think they were doing the flight a favor by doing their job. Carelessly pouring water into cups with excessive splashing. One reached over aisle seated passengers' faces to get trash from other flyers. One in particular stored her belongings in the overhead bin above me and proceeded to lean her body (particularly her pelvis region) on my shoulder which, considering the space, was understandable to some extent, but not even a simple utterance of "excuse me," "pardon me," or even fair warning. Then, we land, only to finally get to baggage claim to stand there waiting for my bag that "didn't make it". A older gentleman monitoring the belts suggested I go to the office and check there. Office was locked and no one was inside. So I wait in the checkin and ticketing line and a gentleman from Frontier's counter assisted me and checked the belt to ensure that my bag didn't get stuck or fall off of the belt. No luck, so we called frontier back in Denver to see if my bag even made it onto my flight. They give us a "it's not here" and we filled a claim. So I sit here, waiting for 9 am eastern, waiting on a phone call hopefully saying they've located my bag and I go to a wedding in Alabama in ill fitting jeans and a small blazer I had in high school bc no store is open and my suit, along with my other belongings are just laying somewhere: back in Denver and they just didn't check when we called, or on the wrong plane, or spinning on a belt in some random city, or soaked out on the airfield of Atlanta."
Pros: "Low fare was nice.. but the subsequent nickel-and-diming business practices left a bad taste in our mouths. No in-flight entertainment or proper meal options either. A gate change was poorly communicated, and passengers from 2-3 flights were congregating in the gate trying to decipher the poorly written message (illogical, broken English) on the display behind the agent's desk. That agent was nice enough, but she seemed very untrained and incapable of handling the situation. The boarding gate agent was even worse (see other review)."
Cons: "When asked, the boarding gate agent told us the boarding door was "closing in 1 minute" so that we would hurry up and board. We did, then while waiting in line on the jet bridge, we noticed on our boarding passes that there was another 18 minutes scheduled for boarding. This was infuriating because we wanted to stop by the grab-and-go cafe next to the gate, to pickup food for the cross-country flight (SFO>ATL), especially since Frontier does not offer proper meals onboard. We turned around and confronted the agent about this, and she admitted that she lied to us so that we would board. Lying to customers for any reason is totally unacceptable, and we won't forget this."
Pros: "This is my return flight. The cost of the flight was something like $90 round trip from ATL to orlando international. No brainer. I'll take it."
Cons: "After spending $90 on the flight I got to check in the day of and find that it is going to cost me $40 down and back to bring a CARRY ON. I then find some fine print that says how to get around the $80 round trip fee. Get a carry on that fits under the seat in front of you. So I pack in a small backpack that can "fit under the seat in front of me" and have less clothes than I want for my trip but am able to offset the almost 100% increase in cost. They didn't appear to care that people had carry on at the terminal despite saying it was going to cost way more to check at the terminal than online. So some people had paid, other didnt. That seemed to irritate some of those who had paid as we talked about this with other people on the flight. I probably could have brought a full size carry on and not had to pay for it, but who knows. On our way back, we were 30min early on 5:45AM flight from ORLANDO, GREAT RIGHT?...but because Frontier did not have their act together, there was no terminal for us to unload from. We actually then waited on the tarmac for over an hour waiting for Frontier to back a plane out that was not even flying until later that afternoon. Our seats in our row did not recline back. I dont know if that was part of the low budget thing or something was broken. We were not in front of an exit row. There was not actually a button to push, so I assume it was part of the low budget thing and they just don't recline. On check in, more cost issues come up - pick a seat...not just a seat for things like extra leg room or up front. They will make you pay for a middle seat next to the toilet if you want it. No one wants that seat, but if you want to sit next to the people in your party, you are going to have to pay for it. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. I was going to give it a little bit of a slide b/c I knew that it was a budget airline, but, after all the nickle and dime issues, when we had to wait for an hour on the tarmac, I blew an internal fuse and just made my overall bad experience, worse."
Cons: "I've never met such a rude staff. Every single attendant and ticket staff was horrific. By the time the flight ended, I heard at least four different people/families mention that the experience was so bad that they would never fly Frontier again. Everything was dirty and the Frontier workers treat us like animals. I've also never been on any other airline even spirit that made you pay for a duffel bag. By the time I paid for the small bag 60$ each way, it was more expensive than a Delta flight. I will continue to fly Spirit or Delta from now on and never again with Frontier. Horrible."
Pros: "Friendly crew/staff"
Cons: "I don't like paying for carry-on luggage, especially when I had no idea until I was about to board the plane. My seat was uncomfortable. I thought Row 5 on an Airbus 320 would have reclining seats, but to my disappointment it did not. I was surprised when the attendant informed me that most of the seats in the front front of the aircraft do NOT recline. Overall, flying Frontier reminded me of the one or two times I flew Spirit. I have avoided that airline ever since, and I will probably do the same with Frontier."
Cons: "Left the gate on time. Arrived at the gate in Atlanta early."
Cons: "The flight was delayed for nearly 4 hours. This caused considerable annoyance and a significant shuffling of the rest of my travel plans. The flight should have departed at 10:30. It was delayed until 2:18. Lunch vouchers were given to passengers, however these were not distributed until 1:15. By that time many passengers had already eaten lunch (including myself) and with the flight boarding in ~30 there wasn't really enough time to get something to eat anyway. If these had been issued 11:30 -12:00 it would have been much more useful."
Pros: "The only thing I liked about the flight is that we reached our destination safely."
Cons: "I didn't like how the airline didn't stick to their schedule. I understand that flights get delayed often.gut for a flight to get delayed 3 times is ridiculous. Our flight was supposed to leave at 5:20pm MTD and land on Atlanta before 11pm EST. We were notified about the delay about less than an hour before the flight. It was pushed to 5:50. Then 6:25. The actual flight didn't leave until almost 7:30 pm and landed in Atlanta passed 1am. This caused me south inconvenience. First, I had to take a half day off from work when I could've worked and got paid a full day. Next, the airline wasted hours of my time I can't get back. Time I could've spent with my family that I'm only seeing for a short period of time. By the time we got to the airport, which was way later than expected, the concourse trains were not operating anymore. What should've been a quick ride from concourse D to T turned out to be a 20+ minute walk to get out of the airport. Lastly, I missed my ride after getting of the airport. I was supposed to ride the train (Marta), but due to the delay, I missed the last ride. Not only was I inconvenienced but it trickled down to my family and had to wake up on the wie hours of the morning to pick me up at 2am. Overall, it was a terrible experience."
Pros: "That they held the plane to make my connection"
Cons: "My connection was late, then my ticket was not working and the attendant had to manually check is in. She was EXTREMELY unprofessional even sating tons customer " I can only work as fast as I can DUDE, I'm the only one here" in which I verbally reprimanded her for her unprofessional attitude. Then we sat in the plane for an additionaL HOUR for a "mechanical issue".... which appeared to be them filling up the plane. I am so highly dissatisfied that not only will I never ever book frontier again, but I made sure to review the company in social media and all my friends/family/clients. I don't pretend to understand the airline industry, but I do know BAD BUSINESS when I see it. Absolutely TERRIBLE."
Pros: "The stewards were polite on the plane."
Cons: "Flight was delayed 7 hours for maintenance. The passengers were packed like sardines into seats with so little legroom that even my 5'5 frame had my knees against the seat in front of me, the seats don't lean back and there's not even room to put your head down on the 2×3 tray which is only there for looks because it couldn't possibly be used to actually hold anything. Two screaming toddlers rounded out the worst flight I've ever been on. I would never recommend frontier airlines, you really do get what you pay for."
Cons: "First the flight was delayed but didn't say anything until after it was past time for the flight to have already left. The flight attendees were rude making people use the lavertories in the rear of the plane due to someone laying in the crew area blocking the front lavertory. Then had an attitude when I used the front one cause the rear ones were full. Arrived in Atlanta and it took 30 min to get parked which was the case on both flights. Then because we were late it took over an hour to get our bags to baggage claim. When frontier Baggage claim was asked about the delay the person couldn't put down their cell phone and look at me the customer when I was asking about the delay on the bags. They had a very rude reaction when I got upset about them not putting the phone down to address the customer"
Pros: "Flight arrived early on first leg and on time second leg."
Cons: "I didn't like that I was charged 40 dollars each way for a CARRY ON! REALLY? 80 additional dollars? I might have considered another airline if I had known you were going to bend me over at the gate.Very misleading on the fares. Should be in big flashing letters. "HEY IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE CARRY ON IT"S $40 BUCKS EACH WAY! The new SLIMLINE PRE-RECLINED SEATS were not comfortable. The fact that even a small snack or drink was charged for was also a disappointment. Why not just be honest about your fares and and raise them a little say maybe 5.00 dollars and allow 1 carry on with an additional laptop bag or purse? Very misleading in that respect. But I give them props (pun intended) for being on time. That was the best part. I'd give them and over all 3.9 just because of the misleading stuff. Otherwise they would have gotten a 5 out of 5."
Pros: "For a traveller, without any luggage or even a small carry- on, with a very nominal fee, it is the best & economical way to travel. For example, in my case, my son & myself had to take all his stuff like sofa, bed, dressers, chairs, tables, & kitchen wares other household items in a U-Haul & drove his car ti Cincinnati, Ohio (as he finished his studies in GMC & had to start his residency in children hospital in Cin......After unloading all the stuff in his apartment, I had fly back to Atlanta with only a small backpack, there was no sense to pay about $250.00 with Delta, it was a logical way of coming by Frontier costing less than $50.00. with comfortable seats within an hour."
Pros: "Read the fine print. This airline is cheap for a reason. There is a fee for carry on bags, and nothing is complementary. Seating is randomized unless you pay extra for a preferred seat. I opted for the cheapest option, no carry on and a random seat. This placed me at the back next to the rest room, but that's how it goes. Seats were very small, with the least leg room I've ever experienced. Thankfully, my flight was only 2 hrs long, and though we were delayed boarding 30minutes, we still arrived on time. Crew was very friendly and the plane was clean. I would recommend this airline for a short flight in which you have no luggage!"
Cons: "I'm 6'1, and I wish I would have paid extra for a "stretch" seat. No leg room in the regular seats."
Cons: "My flight was delayed for 6 and a half hours. On top of that the airline charges $35 each way to have a carry on so I had to pay $70 on top of my already $200 something ticket. Then they charged $2 on the flight for a soda which is normally complimentary on all other airlines I have flown on. Then when I called customer service they said there was nothing they could do or credit any of the fees I incurred from paying for carry on baggage and said it was too bad the flight was delayed they didn't care at all."
Pros: "For a cheap, quick flight under 3 hours this was a reasonable flight. It has the bare essentials, especially if you are traveling alone or without children. The crew was friendly and unlike the flight TO Miami (delayed by almost 2 hours for maintenance reasons---the a/c was not working and the airplane was very hot. Luckily everyone was told to return to the gate and wait for the problem to be fixed) this return flight was actually early! The plane was clean and in good condition."
Cons: "Aside from previous mentioned delay to destination, the unknown fact that you have to pay for your carry on luggage AFTER ticket purchase was a bit of a shocker...but for such a cheap ticket price I was expecting some hidden fee's along the way. Having to pay for something as simple as coffee or a small snack (what happened to free peanuts and pretzels?) seemed a bit excessive also so i was extremely disappointed at this also. Also, the trays on the seat backs were EXTREMELY small, just about big enough for a tablet so I am not sure who the airline is saving that space for?.. Again, this is a great airline for short flights but I don't know if i will be using them for a long flight in my future unless they have aircraft's with more comfortable options."
Pros: "It was an OK flight. Everything is a la carte. I didn't realize this because I have never flown frontier before. I was traveling light anyways, so it did allow me a cheaper flight. I mainly picked them for the departure time. In the future, I probably would pay the 49 bucks for what they call "the works". It bundles a lot of their a la carte services into a better deal. We did catch a tail wind and turned a 3 hour flight into a 2 hour flight. I guess the upside to the paid carry on rule was that there were a lot less carry on, which made boarding and exiting the plain easier."
Cons: "They want you to pay for everything. It does keep you from paying for stuff you don't want or need, which is good for me, but it would have been very bad if it had been my wife. I guess it is OK if you are aware of this, but I didn't realize until after I bought my ticket. You are allowed one personal item for free, but carry on and checked baggage are extra. Again, I only had a backpack ( personal item) but if my wife had been with me, it would have gotten expensive fast. The crew was kind of snippy. If you want food or drinks you have to pay with your credit card. Entertainment was non existent other than the in-flight credit card sales pitch."
Pros: "I checked in at the ticket counter paid for my bag and then went to the gate. I waited two hours and then started to board the plane they scanned my ticket and I began to walk down the aisle. I was then stopped and told I could not fly in less I paid $60 for my carry-on !!!! I have flown with the exact same carry-on multiple times and never paid for it this is absurd and I want my refund ! Frontier airlines is a horrible company with terrible customer service I will never fly with them again and I want my refund for my bag. I was a long-term customer however I am disgusted with my recent flight !"

Cons: "The flight was delayed for nearly 4 hours, without notice or explanation for most of that time - even though it was a foregone conclusion, because a replacement aircraft had to be flown from CA to FL for maintenance reasons. Then, the counter personnel were arrogant and offensive in dealing with disappointed passengers (who would not be arriving at their destination until 2 am). Frontier is absolutely the worst airline I have dealt with in the past several years, and I am not likely to ever book a flight on Frontier again - especially since the hidden fees tend to make the ultimate price nearly the same as other airlines."
Cons: "When I purchase tickets, I like to be able to compare prices fairly. They do not do a good job disclosing you have to pay additional for luggage. Carry on is more than checked bags and if you don't do it online, it is more when you get to the airport. If you want a seat with your fellow passenger, the only way to ensure you sit together is by paying for a seat which is additional. Also, the only beverage you receive that is free is water. Anything you purchase can only be completed with a debit or credit card. So you can add an additional $200 for a roundtrip to your purchase price!"
Pros: "They don't comply with thier own policies. Thier website says a carry on bag and a personal item (such as a laptop bag) is allowed free of charge. When i reach their with a very tiny suitcase and a laptop bag, the front end staff tells me I am fine and can go ahead with the sevurity line. But when I reach at the gate and just as I am about to enter the flight a frontier employee snatches my bording pass and says that I have to pay $60 for my one item, as only one item is allowed. And she was so rude that she wouldn't listen to anything. Says the gate closes in 3mins if you wanna get in this flight pay $60 or else she wont let me in. I had no choice other than to pay. This was through kayak. I would request kayak to not keep any kinda relation qith such ripoff fraud companies, if they don't want bunch of bad reviews them self. Frontier has already millions of bad reviews and one more added from my side just now. I would never ever travel frontier again. N by the way the flight sucked as well."
Pros: "It was straight through, no layovers."
Cons: "The snacks that cost $3 or more apiece? There was no entertainment, not even a magazine like Sky Mall, and the seat didn't recline, and the tray wasn't big enough for my two snacks and a soda... why did I have to pay for a seat, and then for my bag? Why didn't you just include that in the price, so it wasn't misleading. My ticket really cost $98 more than you quoted it at, and had I known that I could have gotten a cheaper flight from another carrier that was more than your listed price, but included the "extras" you charged me for, and it would have been overall cheaper, and I could have had a reclining seat and a full size tray table... I mean really? I've had better amenities on a military flight!"
