Cons: "The redesign of seats means that very few of Delta's planes can actually accommodate a sherpa-style pet carrier, even though they are an industry standard for in-cabin travel. Further complicating the problem is that the clearance under the seat varies depending where in the cabin you're seated. It's become an extremely stressful proposition for which I have the privilege of paying an extra +$100 each way whilst having to give up one of my carry ons. As far as I can see, the charge is just straight up greed, since no one would be able to use the space beneath the seat in front of me, anyway, and carrying on my cat cause zero extra work for the crew. I'm going to have rethink my loyalty to Delta. At least with Southwest, they'll let me check two bags for no additional cost."

We waited in line for 2 hours at the airport for West Jet to tell us that we needed to call them regarding a refund. We called them and were on hold for an hour and 45 minutes. Then we were told we had to call the travel agent...we on hold for 2 hours. We then called Korean air and they told us they couldn’t contact West Jet-no one knew what the value of the flight from Toronto to Ottawa was. We were only provided with a refund of $4 (for the taxes) when it cost us $280 to rent a car to get to Ottawa. I will never book a flight with West Jet again."

Finally after 15 minutes they actually started letting the line through when they could have just waited 15 minutes to even announce the pre-boarding line. Then we boarded the plane and it was late and another 30 minutes waiting to fly. There was no TVs.. and whatever, we brought our iPad We got to Edmonton and our car seat was quite damaged. West jet couldn’t give us anywhere near the car seat we have and not one that fits in my car."

WestJet provided a hotel voucher and food vouchers for one day but refused to refund us for a car rental that would get us home in time. Cons: "My bag did not arrive for close to 2 hours after we landed. About 15 bags were released on the carousel at an appropriate time and over an hour later the rest of the plane's bags arrived. The staff were not overly concerned. They announced a number of times that the bags were coming, it was almost comical. I have dealt with this before at Pearson I don't understand why it takes large amounts of time to unload bags from the plane? Or why a few bags arrived and the others took 2 hours? I am not sure if Air Canada has any control over this or if it is Pearson's responsibility but I would appreciate if you could forward this complaint to the appropriate folks. Thanks."

For example, I was either stepped on (as a result, being woken up) or my backpack was stepped on several times when an attendant was walking down the aisle, and neither of those things were sticking out into the aisle. This has rarely happened to me on trans-Pacific flights (more crowded, longer flights) so I can only attribute it to the carelessness of the attendants and/or the aisle width but since I think aisle width follows international standards it's more likely the former."

Stewardess told us we could make flight if we ran through airport, but when we got to the gate, we were told that we had been rescheduled on another flight 2 days later! Crew on flight did not tell us this. We did manage to get another flight to Frankfurt 2 hours later on Air Canada, then to Barcelona on Lufthansa, arriving 8 hours later than originally scheduled. Rouge flight had fewer amenities than Southwest and less legroom. Did not know what were getting when booked flight -Will never fly Rouge again!"

I had a layover in Chicago and did not receive any notification that my flight was cancelled due to maintenance. I went to each desk to try and find an associate and no one was available to help the several individuals wondering how to get switched to a new flight. All of us were just given a phone number to call. Once I found someone thy told me that there was no seats available on any of the flights. They found one seat on a plane that was going to laguardia instead of my destination of Newark and then proceeded to tell me that my bags will still go to Newark and it was my job to make sure I filed to get them. (Same thing happened the last time I flew with United) I'm very disappointed all together with how I was treated as a customer."

The attendants and pilot were SO accomodating and empathetic and assured me they were in a good position to make up time. Between your staff and the free directTV and the fact that I made my flight with 5 minutes to spare....my trip was saved!"

Pros: "Like other airlines, United is charging more fees for seats to food. And the food they sell is bad. The breakfast was microwaved to horification. Why are airlines permited to give such low levels of service? Why are they allowed to charge extra fees for ordinary seats? And no complimentary entertainment. All that NOTHING" service and for very high fees.I got suckered into paying a lot extra for premium Economy. The Premium was the extra money they stole. The Economy was the new definition of bare bones."

Cons: "Everything. I had a very tight schedule to visit my friends in canada. What was supposed to be a quick flight turned into almost 24 hours of travel and ariving 12 hours late. I was lucky to have 3 days in with my friends now i only have 2. Not to mention what was supposed to be an inexpensive trip turned i to an expensive one when you are forced to eat airport food after being constantly re routed. I bought my ticket based on ariving to ottawa in the morning this however was not the case. I will be seeking a refund."
Pros: "Curtesy of staff"
Cons: "No seat reclining at all. Feeling very stiff by the end of the fight."
