Cons: "The redesign of seats means that very few of Delta's planes can actually accommodate a sherpa-style pet carrier, even though they are an industry standard for in-cabin travel. Further complicating the problem is that the clearance under the seat varies depending where in the cabin you're seated. It's become an extremely stressful proposition for which I have the privilege of paying an extra +$100 each way whilst having to give up one of my carry ons. As far as I can see, the charge is just straight up greed, since no one would be able to use the space beneath the seat in front of me, anyway, and carrying on my cat cause zero extra work for the crew. I'm going to have rethink my loyalty to Delta. At least with Southwest, they'll let me check two bags for no additional cost."

However, upon arrival, we were stuck on the runway for 3 hours!!!! Our flight landed at 1, we did not exit plane until 3:40. They were not curtious enough to give us accurate time frames on when we would be allowed off. They told us 40 minutes initially, obviously was a lie. We did not receive updates whatsoever. We had to stay seated the entire time with seat belts even though we were not moving!! I got up to use the restroom and was instructed to sit back down even though attendants were aware that we were not moving and were not getting off any time soon. A 2 hour flight turned into 5 hours on the plane instead so of course many passengers needed to use the restroom. Flight attendants offered no avail with extra attention, drinks, snacks or even by allowing fussy babies to be strolled down the aisle as the aircraft was completely still until the last 3-5 minutes when we FINALLY pulled to a terminal. We had to have a terminal when southwest would have gladly brought stairs to our flight so we could at least wait inside a less compact space, such as the airport, for luggage. I know of many people on our flight who missed connecting flights, which I'm sure AA did nothing to accommodate. By the end of it all, my family member who originally was going to pick us up from airport went home as he waited over 3 hours for me to get off the plane. I had to pay a taxi cab to bring me home and did not make it home until 6am when it was all said and done. To add insult to injury, the flight attendants did not even thank us for our patience or have the decency to address said issue. Never flying AA again."

Cons: "The auxiliary power unit on our Airbus 321 (the engine in the tail of the plane) was not working, so the air conditioning vents were non-operational before takeoff, and the engines had to be started by an additional device at the airport. Not the greatest way to start a trip. I know there are tolerances that allow flights with certain broken parts, but auxiliary power on a flight starting in the Southwest United States seems important. Also, the Gogo in-flight WiFi was not working. I am a T-Mobile customer, so it should have been free, but I never got more than Google's home page to load, so I watched a movie on my iPad instead. I wasn't expecting the WiFi, so I flew fine without it. But, for it not to work after they announced it was available was a little disappointing. The "new" American Airlines seems worse, to me."

The whole time, we kept trying to explain to the different airport staff that we had a connecting flight that we needed to catch, however nothing was being done by any of the parties to ensure that we would make it to our connecting flight. All parties (Customs, TSA, & American Airlines) just kept trying to pass the blame to each other instead of helping us and were rude on top of that. The delays were out of our control causing us to not only miss our flight, but also caused us to have to spend more money to stay at a hotel in Phoenix since the next flight available was not until the morning. This situation has also caused both my husband and me to miss work, causing us to miss out on today's wages. This entire situation has been the worst airport experience we've ever had, and we've traveled all over the world. We usually fly with American Airlines, and would hate to have to go with another airline, but we would have to if this situation is not rectified, and if we are not compensated for all of the additional costs imposed on us."

Also, no USB charging outlets were available. I live in Korea and don't have an American style outlet to connect to a USB, so my devices died. The provided tiny aisle TV which played programmed shows and movies kept freezing, skipping, and turning off. Entertainment is usually the saving grace for budget int'l flights, whose food, service, and comfort can be expected to suck. Next time I'll shell out for Korean Air or Asiana."
Cons: "First, my original DIRECT flight was cancelled bc of weather. I was switched to a flight w a connection no joke less than an hour later. Why not just postpone original flight? Then, I had a middle seat. I was in between two extremely overweight people that had no business buying only one ticket. It was clear that there was no room for three people and no one checked in or tried to accommodate. Trying to go to the bathroom was a huge ordeal bc the person next to me was barely mobile. If there was an emergency , it would have been a hazard. When I was able to go to the bathroom (after ten minutes of maneuvering ) flight attendants seemed annoyed when people were in the lane. While this is understandable, it was not possible for me to quickly scoot back into my seat. Overall , this was a terrible experience. Entertainment was lacking. It took about 30 minutes to get any beverages after being requested."

Cons: "My first flight was delayed by an hour and 20 min. I arrived at Dallas for my connector to Austin, 25 min before my departure time. I could have made it, however, the plane taxi'd at the gate for at least 10 min, then the door wouldn't open. When I finally got off, I sprinted to my next gate, thinking they may hold it for a few minutes as there were many people connecting on that flight to Austin, but instead they did the opposite. When I arrived there were other people waiting who had arrived 10 min before the departure time (also from a delayed flight) and the doors were already closed. There was no representative at the gate to even tell us this, until we had waited over 10 min, and when he arrived, he said the doors were closed, and all of us were too late. Why would you close the doors early, knowing that other connectors were coming in. Additionally, on my return trip, my flight was cancelled, and I never received a reason for its cancellation, just an automatic rebooking that put me back in New York a day late. I had to be on the phone for an hour, rebooking a flight that United didn’t have. They instead put me on an American airlines flight last minute that I barely made. This wouldn’t have been so bad if this wasn’t the second time this exact scenario occurred within two months, when my siblings attempted to return home for the Christmas holidays. United is terrible."

Many people were put on standby, but the next flight was overbooked so not even everyone with tickets made it on the plane. I ended up having a 2 leg, 6 hour journey that left 5 hours after my planned departure (which was a direct 3 hour flight)."

The planes feel like a budget experience with cheap fold down trays and arm rests that slam down making lots of noise, and there is very little foom under the seat to put a small bag. My same small back pack that fits under other airlines seats wasn't even close to going under forcing me to straddle for the the entire flight. I will NOT use Frontier again. The airline feels like Alligeant that costs much less. I'll stick with Southwest!"

It has become evident that airlines do not care about their customers anymore. I mean if you are going to make us pay for everything then at least be polite. And on the return flight we had to sit for a half hour and wait while they moved another plane that was occupying out gate."

After the above 3 items, I DID NOT SAVE with Frontier and should have chosen another airline."

One would have thought after such an inconvenience that Frontier could afford to let go of some of its $5 sodas or pretzels for free to the passengers, are you kidding...NOT! We were offered about 4 ounces of warm water. Yup, they would not even let go of their ice. I guess the lesson is that you live and learn, I will never fly Frontier again."

On my return flight was told by the (unfriendly) staff member that I needed to place my bag in this VERY small contraption and if it fit I would not need to pay for my bag. Unfortunately, my bag did not fit however; I was able to place my bag under the seat in front of me for the entire flight. Previously in November I had to pay an additional $75 for my checked bag being 4 lbs overweight. That is highway robbery, I could have checked in another bag for less than that. I will no longer fly Frontier because I am extremely dissatisfied with their service."
Cons: "First of all, they charged me to check into my flight. My $131 ticket turned into $183 and I hadn't even checked in for the way back. Not only did I have to pay for a seat at check in, but I had to pay $40 to brin a carry on!!!! So what the heck did my ticket pay for?!?! Once I choked down the extra $53, I went to the gate and the flight was cancelled. The gate attendant offered a refund or to put me on a flight the next day. He wouldn't look at other airlines for me. The only nice thing they did was make the refund process easy on the phone, since I had to leave the terminal to find another ticket counter to help me. I will not be flying frontier. Ever."

Not only do they charge you for checked bags, you get charged $30 for a carry on bag, $60 if you don't check in online before your flight. You have to pay extra for pretty much any seat on the plane. My wife and I paid $16 per person to sit in the window and middle seat in the second to last row. Nothing is complimentary. They even charge you if you want more than one cup of water which should be illegal. The seats are horribly uncomfortable (think stadium seating at a baseball game). Also, the customer service over the phone is awful. The employees literally read from a script and say the same thing over and over again until you give up. This is officially the worst airline I have ever travelled with and will never choose Frontier again."

The representatives at Dallas were disengaged and didn't seem to look for options to get us out of there,. Finally, a representative came and told us we had 2 options: OPTION 1: Stay in Dallas 31 HOURS!! and take the next flight to FLL (no hotel arrangements were offered) or take the next flight to Orlando and move ground to FLL. Very disappointed with your service. NEVER FLYING ON SPIRIT AGAIN"

I would definitely travel with Spirit Airlines again and recommend others to it as well. Thank you for the good experience for me and my child."
Cons: "The one and only thing I did not like was the DFW airport Spirit front customer service rep that assisted me before security, she was rude and was upset that I was at her booth. The rep asked me who told me to go to her and I had to point out the person who did, that for me was unnecessary as it shouldn't matter who told me to go to her for assistance and make me feel uncomfortable asking for it. Then she was upset that my infant was not added to the flight, as I mentioned before it was my first time traveling with my infant. She added her on the flight to Phoenix but for some reason did not add her to the return flight and the Spirit customer service rep from Phoenix had to take the time and add her to the returning flight to DFW. He was very polite and friendly had a smile on hes face the whole time, even asked hes lead to assist me with a good seat for me and my child. That is the type of service every rep should be giving to every customer no matter what time of the day it is."

After 42 minutes we were told "we are waiting for paperwork from Maintenance" that is it! Not how long they expect the wait to be or come around and offer us some drinks or snacks. The Flight Attendants DID NOT even walk the aisle....not even once! We finally took off after 75 minute delay. It was if we were on the plane alone...this is not how I would have handled the situation. I also obtained the Spirit credit card to rack up some miles, but not I am giving it a second thought!"
