(On my outbound flight from Atlanta to D' dorf an oversized seat neighbor literally flowed partly into my seat, making matters worse.) A major concern: stewardesses support the general fashion of darkening the cabin in the interest of movie watchers and general quiet. What about my right to daylight, especially during a day flight from D' dorf to Atlanta? It's helpful against jetlag. 11 hours in a darkened pipe followed by arrival at night time are unhealthy. The film program is not intetesting enough to justify this decision."

Cons: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."

Our 9:00 pm flight was cancelled on our way too the airport!!! No reason was given too us!!! So stressful!!! I couldn’t believe it!!! Thank goodness we arrived 6 hours ahead of time. We were able too get on an earlier flight. Than everything was great!!

90 min delay for a food cart that needed to be fixed.

Pros: "The seat seemed broken. The main issue was that all shades were down. I thought when we took off and landed , window shades were supposed to be up? I felt like I was in a dark tunnel with shades down and lights the entire flight out and it was mid-afternoon."

Cons: "I was told I would be able to choose the seats only 24 hours before the flight by going online. I tried to choose the seats online but could not have access to the site. I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

In fact they were offloaded at JFK and had we not noticed a sign indicating that we had to reclaim our bags and walk them through security they would probably still be in New York. It was a long flight and everyone was edgy, but it didn't help that the crew was too. We had assigned seats next to one another but that somehow got changed and we had to get them back at check in."

Woman was very gracious and understanding that she was asking for an accommodation. Ends up her flight to Philly had been moved to a different gate after they had found a volunteer to switch seats. Volunteer was totally unfazed but Desk crew made it seem as tho the Muslim mom was at fault for the time and trouble they had had to go through to accommodate her. She apologized profusely and was very appreciative for the trouble evernote had gone to for her. . As she walked away the crew looked at each other and shook their heads. Pretty crummy way to treat customers!"

Cons: "Our brand new 787 had a mechanical issue. We were scheduled to leave at 7:20pm and sat on the Tarmac until 10:45 while we waited for shuttle buses to take us back to the terminal. We waited in line for over two hours for hotel vouchers that they did not have. We paid for own our room and returned at 11am as instructed, but the plane needed a part that had to be shipped from the U.S. which pushed our scheduled departure from 2pm to at least 9pm. My family grabbed a bus to Narita for a 6:30pm flight. C'MON AMERICAN AIRLINES! COULD YOU SERIOUSLY NOT GET ANOTHER PLANE TO HANEDA?? OR AT LEAST PAY FOR OUR HOTEL?? The ground crew at Haneda was very kind but overwhelmed. Terrible experience. And it's the reason I don't fly American. In fact, KAYAK, I booked our flights on JAL intentionally to avoid American. The fact that these were partner flights on American completely and unpleasantly surprised me...also not a good experience."

Cons: "United Express flies out of Terminal A at Newark (EWR) and routinely they do not have Precheck lanes open. Despite flying on the Saturday after Thanksgiving they only had one mixed security line open. When I asked TSA they said they simply weren't staffed to have a Precheck line open. Everyone was working diligently but this happens every time we fly United out of Newark. Traveling with 2 small children it is incredibly frustrating to have to go through the full security line, take off our shoes, and take all of our electronics out of our bags."

I lost an entire day of my family's vacation because of United Airlines and their massive blunder. I find it hard to believe that this couldn't be foreseen and avoided. By the time we finally got our crew, we then had to await for a storm to pass, and then 40 other planes had to take off first. All United offered in apology were $10 vouchers that expire in two days, and a free drink on the plane."

Pros: "There were empty seats and the very polite flight attendant offered for me to move without me having to ask."
Cons: "I arrived at my final destination and walked to baggage claim. I was just standing there waiting when a young girl walked by me in a uniform and said rudely and almost annoyed, "do you have a question". I replied that I was waiting on my bag. She then said these are it and I said so my bag has been lost? Without any empathy AT ALL she again, rudely and now most definitely annoyed said Do you have your bag tag? I said yes and she proceeded to walk away to a corner office. I assumed I was to follow. She took my tag, no communication at all from her, I said what are you doing and she replied I have to file a claim. She then proceeded to tell me that Newark Airport was horrible and never travel through there if I know what's good for me. This was extremely unprofessional. I was simply wanting some guidance from her on what to expect etc. I had to ask her what my next steps were. She handed me a flyer and said if I had any questions to call baggage information listed on the pamphlet. I left. The next day at about 1 p.m. I called the number and the update said my bag had left the airport and was out for delivery. Keep in mind that I had to work the next day after the airline losing my bag and had to purchase shower items etc due to them being in my lost bag. Portland jetport and my home address is less than 40 minutes apart, yet my bag did not arrive at my home until 8:30 p.m. and I'm also not confident it would have ever arrived because I called around 7 p.m. and spoke with someone who called the delivery service to ask their ETA. I paid $25 to check my bag and yet it was lost. What did I pay for?! If I can help it, I will NEVER fly United again and I'll be certain to tell everyone I know about my experience with this airline."
Pros: "I actually upgraded to first class for $79 while sitting in the waiting area. I thought it that was a pretty good deal for the price. Seats were comfortable, and very roomy. I was in first seat and had lots of leg room, even though I'm only 5'3""

Cons: "Everything. We arrived 2 hours early and my daughter worked very hard to fit everything she needed into a carry on bag which was not easy. Her flight was delayed, delayed again, delayed again, and then cancelled. She was flying alone and should have received top priority and been one of the first called up to figure out how to get her to her destination. But that did not happen. She didn't know what to do at first then got in the long line of people and waited her turn. ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT HER ONLY OPTION WAS TO FLY OUT ON A LATER FLIGHT TO HOUSTON WHICH WOULD MAKE HER MISS HER CONNECTING FLIGHT ANT THEN STAY THE NIGHT ALONE IN HOUSTON AND WAIT THE ENTIRE NEXT DAY THERE UNTIL 9 THE NEXT NIGHT TO CATCH HER FINAL FLIGHT TO SALT LAKE CITY. I cannot even explain how angry and horrified I was that your airline thought that was acceptable for an unaccompanied minor! Clearly this one option that was offered to her by you was not accepted. Then she calls and a guy tells her he can get her there and is going to book her new flights.....only to get disconnected and never called her back. After that there was no one to be found at the desks for your airline. At this point I had driven back to the airport (spent hours driving and waiting) when a wonderful lady from a different airline helped my daughter out and got her on a different airline. However she had to check her bag due to her seating after all the hard work she put in to not checking her bag."
Cons: "Flight was cancelled and united told us on the phone that all flights were cancelled for the day. I specifically asked on the phone to be moved to an American Airlines flight later that day, and was told that flight would be cancelled. Drove to the airport because I didn't understand how both the flights were cancelled with perfect weather in the departure and destination cities. The people at the airport moved us to the American flight that I was previously told was cancelled. Would have been much easier to do over the phone, but I was lied to on the phone."

Didn’t get any vouchers or partial refund or anything to make up for the fact that half my flight was not used."

I also dislike the extra charges for EVERYTHING that was not disclosed on the purchase through Kayak like seat selection, carryon bags, early on zones, etc. No snacks were offered on the flight. I understand that this is a discount carrier, but after all was said and done, I could have paid the same for a major airline and had way more room and comfort. No pre-Check. WTH??!!! The airline attendants bumped me going up and down the aisle EVERY single time and never offered an apology for bumping me and I was NOT in their way."

Cons: "The plane was inexplicably delayed by first 7 hours and ultimately 9 hours. Rather than leave at 7:30 pm Wednesday night, it took off at 4:30 am Thursday morning. Even worse, TSA didn't START work at the airport in Salt Lake until 4:30. I was fortunate enough to make the flight, but many others did not. Frontier provided no explanation regarding the delay, nor could they explain or even bother to care that the rescheduling occurred at a time Salt Lake passengers couldn't even go through security! Overall, this was an unacceptable experience."
Pros: "The crew was nice....once they actually arrived."
Cons: "The crew was 7 hours late, thus we were 7 hours late boarding causing me to miss an entire day of my Christmas vacation. After being 7 hours tardy, they offered no apologies, no free drink or snack to try to appease us. I requested a refund of this ticket due to the airline being the reason our flight was delayed (we were directly told it was not weather or maintenance, but crew staffing issues) and was denied. What a disaster."
Pros: "The crew seemed nice, the plane was clean as usual. I fly Frontier when going home to visit family for long weekends several times a year, and the crews range from hilarious and upbeat to just polite and friendly. Never met a rude or "bad" crew member."
Cons: "Thankfully I know it costs extra to bring luggage, so we brought a bag to check for $40, but it cost even more for a carry on, and this information was/is (at the time of this writing), not easy to find or brought to your attention when booking and can be a slap in the face to unsuspecting travelers. Flight was delayed 50 minutes. Seats do not recline at all in the newer planes, the tray table is so tiny I saw people using their laps over the trays for laptop use."

Got to new gate and gate was changed again. 1st flight I went to the counter and the lady there did not call out the gate had been changed. Once I inquired she laughed and then it was like someone hit her on the head and she went oh yeh... Then called it over the PA. At 2nd gate same thing except another passenger inquired and then with her loud voice announced it... Not the person at counter. Flight home oh good lord, people who took our seats were drunk and they were very loud and rude. Guy next to me was drunk and oh my very crude.... Flight attendants ignored the guy next to them and me about the behavior. I finally had to smack the guys hand off my leg and yes it was reported to the attendant who did nothing. Oh and I had tried to check a gun and the guy broke my case, my husband came to get gun and I was told I did not get my $ 35 back for the checked item??? Would like my money back for that one Worst flight and communication ever"
Cons: "Seats were horribly uncomfortable. We were on the runway when they suddenly had maintenance issues and were stuck out there for 2 hours until the plane was fixed. It's so expensive to check or carry on a bag making the savings in the airfare not even worth it. No internet option not even for a fee. They charge for everything!"
Pros: "In order to seat a child and parent together they moved me towards the front of the plane."
Cons: "When they did I saw the exit row had no one sitting there. I asked if I could sit there and they told me no. I would have to pay the up grade fee. IS THAT NOT A SAFTEY issue, not having ANYONE in the exit row to open doors if needed."

The bathrooms on both flights were very dirty and our return flight had no hand soap and urine all over the seat. I was first one to use restroom after take off and it was so bad. So it was never cleaned from flight before. Gross."

Pros: "The staff was very personable and helpful, and there was plenty of leg room onboard. Heading into Denver, our flight was late and the staff let everyone onboard know that our group needed to exit the aircraft first. Those onboard were more that happy to ensure we made our connection."
Cons: "We had difficulty getting checked in as the website crashed and was not available before we headed to the airport. Once there, we did get to the gate easily enough, only to have our flight delayed in Denver. We had to sit on the tarmac for over half and hour before we could get to a gate. I'm also not a big fan of the 'pay for everything separately' type of fare. These days, travel is expensive enough without having to nickel and dime everything, including bags and snacks."

Cons: "Ticket counter attendant was rude and threatened me after asking about the carry on policy. A passenger was arrested and escorted off the flight and the turbulence was so bad someone threw up. The crew and pilot made no comment or even acknowledge either incident while boarding or while on the flight. I will never fly on Frontier Airlines again."
Cons: "The service, and delays were absolutely terrible. They switched gates on me 3 times, which in turn made me miss my flight. I then had to uber back fourth costing me $100 to get to and from the airport, when my friends dropped me off on time. I arrived 2 hours before my flight, and then it got delayed, then switched gates, then the lady at the desk told me that they were boarding at 410. I arrived at 409 at the wrong gate and to run to the other gate to board which was then 411 and they said they were departing at 410. Absolutely terrible. Never again."

Cons: "The seats are uncomfortable. They do not recline - important on a night flight. There is no head rest. Both flights were two hours late. No drinks were offered. You had to ask for water! Any creature comfort was nickeled and dimed to death. By the time you are finished with paying the extras you could have a seat on a major airline."
Pros: "I loved that the staff was very professional and very helpful. I was having a bad day cause I couldn't find my confirmation email and when I told him my frustrations he upgraded my seat on a flight that was not booked. Made my day."
