We missed our connection in Atlanta, even though we arrived at the gate in time to see the gate agent shut the door while we were running and waving. We arrived at the gate 8 minutes before the flight departure time also. The flight attendant on the flight from Fayetteville just handed out water and cookies without asking what you wanted. She had coffee and snack mix but didn’t ask anyone, just handed them what they got. Overall I was very disappointed in the flight from Fayetteville, NC to Atlanta and with the gate agents at the Atlanta airport. I usually expect more from delta. They didn’t offer vouchers to make up for the missed connection or offer to pay for a hotel since the next flight out was the next morning."

This was a hassle in and of itself, but the flight was also on New Year's Eve and ended up getting us to Buffalo about 20 minutes before midnight, which was a bit disappointing when I had made previous plans for the night. Also, I found the cabin to be very cold during the flight, but it was pretty short so I didn't complain."

Cons: "Almost the entire trip, due to the following reasons: 1. The online check in process didn't work at all. The Delta staff at the Boston airport weren't pleasant and courteous at all. 2. Poor coordination between Delta & Jet Airways - the meal preference was selected before flight at the Jet Airways website but the same didn't get registered properly, even though the website confirmed to me that it was all set. This resulted in appropriate food not being available to the customer on the flight from Boston to Amsterdam. The customer had to literally starve on the flight. 3. The pursers and stewards on the flight from Boston to Amsterdam weren't pleasant and courteous at all. For anything they were asked, their responses ."

Cons: "United Express flies out of Terminal A at Newark (EWR) and routinely they do not have Precheck lanes open. Despite flying on the Saturday after Thanksgiving they only had one mixed security line open. When I asked TSA they said they simply weren't staffed to have a Precheck line open. Everyone was working diligently but this happens every time we fly United out of Newark. Traveling with 2 small children it is incredibly frustrating to have to go through the full security line, take off our shoes, and take all of our electronics out of our bags."

I lost an entire day of my family's vacation because of United Airlines and their massive blunder. They said it was because there was no air conditioning, but at the same time they said their crew clocked out and we had to wait for new personnel to man the plane. I find it hard to believe that this couldn't be foreseen and avoided. By the time we finally got our crew, we then had to await for a storm to pass, and then 40 other planes had to take off first. All United offered in apology were $10 vouchers that expire in two days, and a free drink on the plane."

The other passenger said he had a family obligation and the rep handed him the last ticket before I could get a word out. I felt so disrespected and like my business and money meant nothing to United. Then began my saga to get to Portland. Unbelievable."

Cons: "Upon arrival the flight attendant left me stranded on the tarmack without a wheelchair for 20 minutes. I have serious balance issues and was terrified. My connection was very tight and I barely made my plane to Portland. The pilot finally saw the problem and got the assistance I needed. This was the most frightening wheelchair experience I have even had."

Cons: "I arrived at my final destination and walked to baggage claim. I was just standing there waiting when a young girl walked by me in a uniform and said rudely and almost annoyed, "do you have a question". I replied that I was waiting on my bag. She then said these are it and I said so my bag has been lost? Without any empathy AT ALL she again, rudely and now most definitely annoyed said Do you have your bag tag? I said yes and she proceeded to walk away to a corner office. I assumed I was to follow. She took my tag, no communication at all from her, I said what are you doing and she replied I have to file a claim. She then proceeded to tell me that Newark Airport was horrible and never travel through there if I know what's good for me. This was extremely unprofessional. I was simply wanting some guidance from her on what to expect etc. I had to ask her what my next steps were. She handed me a flyer and said if I had any questions to call baggage information listed on the pamphlet. I left. The next day at about 1 p.m. I called the number and the update said my bag had left the airport and was out for delivery. Keep in mind that I had to work the next day after the airline losing my bag and had to purchase shower items etc due to them being in my lost bag. Portland jetport and my home address is less than 40 minutes apart, yet my bag did not arrive at my home until 8:30 p.m. and I'm also not confident it would have ever arrived because I called around 7 p.m. and spoke with someone who called the delivery service to ask their ETA. I paid $25 to check my bag and yet it was lost. What did I pay for?! If I can help it, I will NEVER fly United again and I'll be certain to tell everyone I know about my experience with this airline."

Pros: "The crew, especially the cabin crew were very good, personable and handling "the rules" with class and kindness. Ability to purchase priority boarding and seating. Baggage handling and boarding we're well done."
Cons: "Beverages all are at a price, even a cup of coffee."

Cons: "I am handicapped. Can't stand very well or for very long. I had to stand in line for over 2 hrs. They didnt open the check in until 2 hrs before boarding. Then it was almost 15 to 20 minutes for them to check us in once they were there. I was Furious over the $45 each for the 2 bags I had. Terrible s huh ock.. a friend had 3 bags and was required to pay $170... Had to pay for pop. Wow... the seats were tiny and no padding"

Cons: "They made me pay $45 for a 16 inches carry on back that I have as my only luggage , because according to the counter employee, my handbag (purse) was too big so it was considered as a second carry on. I requested a waiver, because I’m an Army Veteran, a senior citizen, but it was denied by the counter employee."

Cons: "The flight time was delayed 6 hrs for “maintenance” then the time changed 4x, Sears didn’t recline at all, I’m 5’9 and my knees were touching the seat in front of me."

Pros: "No cancellation. No delays. No problems with carry on placement on the aircraft. Good service from the flight attendant."
Cons: "No entertainment. Smaller room space."

Pros: "I was having a terrible migraine and one of the female on flight staff directed me to open seats where I could lay down. She also provided me with lots of water and a bag of ice!"

Cons: "Took forever to reach our gate and once we did, it took extra long for everyone to get off the plane. Ended up 45 minutes late for arrival."

Cons: "Seats are hard and our row was not allowed to recline. Late take off and late landing, plus we did not have a gate for 20+ minutes after landing. Crew acted like they wanted to be somewhere else."

Cons: "I was unable to board my flight because the individual attending the desk for check-in left more than 45 minutes before the flight. I was unable to get my boarding pass and in addition, could not check in my bag as I paid for it. I was forced to purchase a flight double the price on a different airline in order to make it back to NYC in time for my interview the next morning. I am absolutely horrified at my experience -- I am a recent graduate in the process of looking for a job and should not have had such a horrible flying experience. I would like a refund."

Pros: "Boarding the plane was simple and like most other airlines"
Cons: "First and hopefully last time flying Frontier. Carry-on baggage charge of $60 per person at the gate and only $35 online...added bag online to avoid additional fee. Boarding was fine, but had to wait 45 minutes past take-off time for mechanic to sign off on all maintenance items for plane. All the while, the crew stood around and didn't make anyone aware of anything, almost like it was something that happens to them all the time. Very unprofessional and clearly not focused on the actual people on the plane. The flight attendants were chatting with each other like they were off work and NOT attending to anyone. Very poor crew."

Cons: "I flew in standard seats outbound and they were uncomfortable and did not recline. On the return flight I paid $54 to upgrade to two "premium" seats. They were in the 4th row , and they were just as uncomfortable and did not recline. Worst red eye ever. I won't fly Frontier ever again!"

Cons: "I was stopped at loading & forced to pay 60 for my carry on even though I checked early online & it showed I had paid 40 for my bag. It was misleading, also checked with a Frontier staff at check in desk & she confirmed I was ok. "Supervisor" at gate was very rude & turned & walked away while I was asking a question & trying to show her my email receipt. I have never gotten sick on an airplane before but I did on all my Frontier flights & there was no air sickness bags in seat. This trip was ridiculous from the start as my flight was changed from non stop direct to overnight layover in which I had to purchase a Hotel room as well as all the extra fees taken after purchase. Frontier is not "cheap" at all. And worst customer service I've ever dealt with."

Pros: "The crew was great and the flight was on time."
Cons: "Unadvertised fees (meaning not shown until check in) made the flight more than double the advertised price. I would have spent less flying an airline that didn't charge for baggage, beverage and seating check in. There was nothing different that makes all the extra fees worth it. I'm surprised I wasn't charged for the air I was breathing in the cabin. I know this review will make no difference and all the fees are by design. It's doubtful I will fly Frontier again."

Cons: "Did not like the seats Did not like having to pay for all extras such as carry on bags, snacks,etc"

Cons: "Did not inform us of a 4 hr delay until it was the original take-off time. We were told then that we had no crew because they had a required "off/sleep" time before flying again. That is understandable, but why wait to tell us? The majority of us to wait in the terminal instead of being able to stay home and make later arrangements. It was a 3+ hr flight and there were no snacks or drinks. You had to pay for a cup of water!!! The baggage fees are ridiculous in price. My return flight was an hr delayed...again, no notification. My ride from the airport had to wait an additional hr and this was a late arrival as it was. We didn't get in until approx. 11 pm. Such an inconvenience and I felt terrible that my friend had to wait for me. What an unorganized, stressful travel experience. They later sent an email for a $100 credit towards another flight within 90 days...A. I don't fly that often, as im sure the average person doesn't. They couldve said a year. B. Even if I was to fly again, it absolutely would not be with frontier. They can keep their $100 credit and ill pay extra to fly with my usual airline. I thought I was getting a good deal, but what I got was a headache. Not worth the hassle!!"

Cons: "Not much to say. They flat out lied to everyone for multiple days as this happened. Flight was cancelled about 5 hours before I was supposed to take off while I was waiting overnight in the airport."

Cons: "The $45 charge for a carry on bag is deceptive. Factor that in with the low fare and guess what, it's no longer the lowest fare option."

Cons: "A dog that kept sneezing behind my seat, the little stow away table that is smaller than an iPad mini, paid cabin bags - is frontier expecting travelrs to go without bags/clothes??? The baggage was late by 1hr, 30mins -- the carousel was disfunct, and terrible."

Pros: "Planes were in good condition and the seats were comfortable."
Cons: "First, the flight was late which cut down my 90 min layover by 30 minutes. I understand that weather can be a HUGE variable when flying-however, when I asked a flight attendant if they had connecting flight information while we were waiting on the tarmac for over 30 minutes to get a gate when we landed- she responded with "I'm on the same flight as you, I don't know"....really?! That is NOT customer service and I asked very politely and was responded to rudely. The response of the people all around me was confirmation that it wasn't just in my head. Completely uncalled for. It would have been simple to say, "Sorry, I haven't received any information but let me check and I'll get back to you." Another 30 minutes later we are finally able to get off the plane. 0 min Layover. Thankfully they held the connecting flight leaving for charlotte so I wasn't stuck in Denver."

Cons: "The gates were not on my boarding pass, and I didn't enjoy hunting them down. When one of my flights landed, we circled the airport for 25 minutes looking for a place to let off the passengers."

Pros: "It was slightly cheaper, not worth it though."
Cons: "The staff does not pay attention to you if you are not buying anything and the baggage fees are obviously ridiculous. That was my last flight with Frontier"

Cons: "Charged for every little thing. Didn't even get complimentary snacks or drinks. Prices ridiculous for food and drink. Seats were not comfortable. Neck was sore. Won't be flying this airline again."

Cons: "3 hour wait to get my baggage claim, bag drop and through security. Almost missed my flight. Very stressful."

Cons: "Horrible from Cleveland to Ft. Meyers. Not one crew member smiled and acted like enjoyed their job!! Told at check in my carry on which I have carried on 3 prior times without cost would again be no cost. Ready to board and told had to pay 30 dollars. It held the plane up trying to expedite the pay process and the attendant was so rude!! I will never fly Frontier unless last resort again."
