Cons: "The connecting flight from philadelphia to amsterdam was cancelled by American airlines due to a faulty plane. The system auto-rebooked many passengers on the flight on a 2 connections flight to arrive in Rotterdam for the following day. This was obviously not a suitable alternative. However after hours of waiting at the gate to get a better flight, an american airlines representative was able to rebook a flight to amsterdam via london that was still not until the following evening. I had to stay in philadelphia overnight and had to find a room on my own. The flight the next day went better however I still lost a day and a half of my trip. Unfortunalely for me, the issues did not end there. There was an issue in communication with british airways; american airlines never gave them the new flight details so british airways marked me as a no show for the Rotterdam flight and cancelled my return flight. By luck i called the day before my flight back to the US since i felt something was wrong. British airways representative was able to rebook me on a similar flight for the same day. Will most likely not use this airline again for international flights"

Cons: "The flight boarded just fine. Then, about the time we should have been pushing back from the gate, a flight attendant comes on the PA asking for a licensed doctor. Several minutes later, they announce that there's a medical emergency and EMTs are on the way. Said EMT comes down the aisle with a wheelchair. I assume they took that passenger off the back, because they didn't come back by me. We finally leave the gate only to find that the weather we were supposed to get out ahead of had now rolled in, and we're stuck on the taxiway for an hour and a half. Once we finally got airborne, things went well. When we arrived at LAX, we parked in a remote area and had to bus to the terminal. So, while none of this was really anything American could have prevented, it made the flight more of an ordeal."

Cons: "The check in process at JFK was a disaster. The kiosk check in machines were constantly malfunctioning, where to line up was unclear, and staff acted frustrated. After several failed attempts with the kiosks you have to wait in line to check in at the counter anyways. It would have saved almost an hour of my time to just go straight to the counter-- had I been allowed to. I wanted to check a bag which contained some fragile items. Several bottles of wine which I wrapped in bubble wrap and cushioned with my packed clothes. I requested a "Fragile" sticker to be put on my bag. I was told "We don't do that here". So I asked if they handle ALL bags with extreme care and I was laughed at and told to go on my way. When I got my bag at my destination-- the outside of my leather suitcase was sliced to the lining. There were scuff marks and torn leather. My wine had been completely shattered. Not just a crack in the bottle, but flattened completely. My clothes were stained, my bag ruined. I don't know if putting a fragile sticker on would have prevented this, but I don't understand why they just "don't do that". We are trusting our property to the airline when we check bags. I will never trust American Airlines ever again. They don't want to know if I have anything fragile, and they don't care when I tell them."

I was seated at the front of the plane and my fiancé was at the back. Luckily a nice gentleman switched seats with me and we were able to sit together but it was the last seats that did not recline on an 8 hour flight. We will never fly American again. Their customer service offered no help and was extremely rude to us."

Sat on the plane for nearly 3 hours while a mechanical issue was looked at; lateness of the flight meant we missed our connection. When we got to the table for people who would miss connections to get our boarding pass for a rescheduled flight, there wasn't one for us. We got there, but this wasn't really a great experience."

Over the course of 4 hours, the crew kept us updated with every little change and were all very helpful! Once we were able to board the rescue plane, the crew handed out complimentary candy and drinks to help ease the wait times. Highly recommended!"

Cons: "Where to start... i guess for starters EVERYTHING is an upcharge. I was suprissed the seatbelts were included! Less legroom than a Cesna 152 and surrounded by 159 of my closest friends. And i mean SURROUNDED. That cabin is SO tight! So tight in fact the seats are a blow mold plastic with roughly 1.5" of foam and fabric. Think go-cart bucket seat with some foam rubber and pleather. Then there's luggage... My carry on bag (that I've used for 15yrs) was too big for the jig at the counter so got to check it for an additional $10 (above the $30 i had to pay to bring it) and they charged me $40 for my original check bag. The hitch is that they only allow 40lbs ($1/lb) for that check bag when the rest of the industry says 50lbs is the norm. Oops, gotta pay for that too! And wait for it... sodas are $2 in flight!"

They charge you to print out your boarding pass. They don't even send the boarding pass through email, you have to download the app. Overall horrible customer service. When call for customer service you can't even get a human representative. I missed my flight and they didn't even have another flight to to accommodate me to get to my destination and no one at the front desk to talk to."

Would you like to experience the unexpected thrills of being nickeled and dimed at every turn....fly Allegiant Airlines. Would you like the answer to the question posed after paying $100 for two carry-on's: 'could this get any worse?' Answer: It does!...fly Allegiant Airlines. Here's how it all starts out they welcome you to the terminal with a wonderful opportunity to pay $5 for printing your boarding passes (unless you download their app). How could a piece of paper that small that no other airline charges you to print cost $5 you ask? Well that is the magic of Allegiant Airlines at work, if they can't make something simple; both costly and annoying then you aren't flying Allegiant Airlines. You then inquire at the check-in desk can my loved one and I sit together, and they say sure but you will have to do that at the gate. Ok some positive news here...but then it sinks in.. wait a minute what Airline are we flying again? ...Allegiant Airlines, and what is their motto?? If it is simple and easy it shall become both costly and wildly inefficient. You arrive at the gate with hope in your heart and they then tell you, umm no. Who ever told you that is a fool! You can make no changes to your seating this is a 40,000lb aircraft with a 300,000lb lift capacity and it can't handle you sitting next to your girlfriend it would compromise the avionics and we would all surely die. Then why on the app did it show open seats? Seats of course for a price! Not by section like a normal airline ohhh noo a price that was completely different for every single seat as if the seats were in competition with each other in some high altitude economy that makes far less sense at sea level.The helpful response to this inquiry was 'oh well that was then' I am looking at it right now. Unless you read the small print on one of their emails that is filled with advertisements they make it look like another advertisement, I'm going to go out on a limb and say INTENTIONALLY as it is never mentioned on: (The check-in email, the purchase confirmation email, not mentioned by the ticket counter, not anywhere on the app, not written anywhere on the electronic ticket despite them announcing otherwise) They instead tell you right as you are boarding the plane and have absolutely no choice in the matter and have done this innumerable amount of times as the flight attendant was well versed in de-escalation protocol and a security guard was positioned an arms length away as she deftly charges your card on file... I have run out of characters for this post I can only assume this comment section is run by Allegiant Airlines.."

Cons: "I have to pay for my carry on ."

Cons: "Three hour delay getting out of little rock when I paid $75 extra to take an earlier flight that then departed later than my original flight."

Cons: "Gate was changed to a gate much farther away. Flight was delayed for 4 different reasons all of which were unlikely. We left 4 hours late. On board the plane was freezing cold. I will NEVER fly United Airlines again."

Cons: "The flight was incredibly hot the whole way. Which the flight was 5 hours long. The crew was a little rude, not to me in particular but to others. They didn’t have a good attitude. Sat at the gate for an hour waiting for other planes to come in so that other people wouldn’t miss the flight. But an hour??? Really!! People were getting mad and hot and sweaty. Food wasn’t cooked all the way when it got to a passenger. It was still cold. It was the worst flight I’ve been on. I would rather ride in a jump seat on a C-130 with military!"

Cons: "Flight got delayed, 2 hours stuck on runway, made us go back to the gate deplane and out of nowhere replane while deplaning. Resulted in a 3 hours delay, missed my connection in SFO and took me 5 more hours to reach my final destination Seoul (with an additional stopover). Crew were lost, we were too, and the 30 Koreans (who doesn’t speak English) in my plane were even more than me !"

Cons: "Having to pay for satellite tv is no good. Most other airlines have free entertainment."

Cons: "United had us board and unboard and then board again due to flight delays. United also told us the delay would be only 40 minutes, but I looked at the delay in SFO and it was 2 hours. Eventually United also increased our delay by 30 minute intervals until it was about 2 hours. Once I arrivied in SFO I got a text message notification stating my luggage had been put on an incorrect flight and I would have to return to get my luggage. The attendants at the podium were rude. This was my first terrible flying experience ever."

Cons: "Myself and 10 others were kept from boarding as they had overbooked/overweighted the plan for the wind conditions...so i was stuck with a mini van rental as they couldn't get me another flight to my destination for 2 days so I ended up driving the 14hrs to make it home."

Pros: "Smooth flight and landing.. Due to a disability the pre parsing is nice.. Crew was very acini dating and friendly.."

Cons: "Two hour delay for start of engines.. Not enough chichen and pasta was not good"

Pros: "The boarding went smooth on both flights. I even got a refill on coffee for the first time."
Cons: "Why don't you have review questions about TSA and the airport?"

Cons: "Free in-flight entertainment should be offered on all flights of 2+ hours through the United app. Had a family with young kids next to me who would have benefited from it (I saw the father trying to connect to it through the app), and overall it would make the flight a much more pleasant experience. After boarding a full hour later than what was originally said, it would have been nice to kick back with a movie for the flight."

Cons: "Everything. We arrived 2 hours early and my daughter worked very hard to fit everything she needed into a carry on bag which was not easy. Her flight was delayed, delayed again, delayed again, and then cancelled. She was flying alone and should have received top priority and been one of the first called up to figure out how to get her to her destination. But that did not happen. She didn't know what to do at first then got in the long line of people and waited her turn. ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT HER ONLY OPTION WAS TO FLY OUT ON A LATER FLIGHT TO HOUSTON WHICH WOULD MAKE HER MISS HER CONNECTING FLIGHT ANT THEN STAY THE NIGHT ALONE IN HOUSTON AND WAIT THE ENTIRE NEXT DAY THERE UNTIL 9 THE NEXT NIGHT TO CATCH HER FINAL FLIGHT TO SALT LAKE CITY. I cannot even explain how angry and horrified I was that your airline thought that was acceptable for an unaccompanied minor! Clearly this one option that was offered to her by you was not accepted. Then she calls and a guy tells her he can get her there and is going to book her new flights.....only to get disconnected and never called her back. After that there was no one to be found at the desks for your airline. At this point I had driven back to the airport (spent hours driving and waiting) when a wonderful lady from a different airline helped my daughter out and got her on a different airline. However she had to check her bag due to her seating after all the hard work she put in to not checking her bag."

Cons: "Flight was cancelled and united told us on the phone that all flights were cancelled for the day. I specifically asked on the phone to be moved to an American Airlines flight later that day, and was told that flight would be cancelled. Drove to the airport because I didn't understand how both the flights were cancelled with perfect weather in the departure and destination cities. The people at the airport moved us to the American flight that I was previously told was cancelled. Would have been much easier to do over the phone, but I was lied to on the phone."
