Scores according to KAYAK customer reviews
Pros: "Movie selection, clean plane"
Cons: "Rude passengers that do not respect personal space even after notifying a flight attendant."
Cons: "The crew’s attitude. Forcing me to check my bag when there were plenty of spots overhead. Telling me my carryon, which fits perfectly under the seat, isn’t allowed to go under my seat. The crew and gate attendant were rude. Poor service. Poor flight."
Cons: "Flight from CLT to MCI was delayed 40 minutes, which made me arrive at Kansas City really late"
Pros: "On time, crew was nice."
Cons: "Seats are too tight. Board from the outsides in, not front to back. Windows seats in the back go first (after first class, ADA, etc), and fill the cheap seats back to front. As it is, literally everyone with an aisle seat ends up on first and overheads fill before people have a chance to know, requiring a lot of against-the-flow foot traffic and delays pushing away from gate."
Pros: "Like the multiple USB charging outlets and the mobile device holder on the backrest"
Cons: "I could not access the games the lady next to me, and others were playing. When I decided to watch movies the earphones were so small they kept falling out of my ears, and I am a small woman. It was a long flight from Tokyo to Dallas, and the lack of diversion became a major irritant."
Pros: "Great crew."
Pros: "Crew was great from checking in to the flight attendant and cockpit."
Pros: "I got to converse with the pilots before getting on board, and they were super awesome guys. Flight attendants were attentive and checked in frequently enough."
Cons: "Flight delays twice coming out of Augusta. Barely made connection otherwise flight was ok"
Pros: "Great food"
Cons: "Need a polite crew"
Pros: "Helpful attendants. Surprisingly roomy seats."
Cons: "Nothing. Short flight."
Pros: "The flight was very quick and the crew was very professional"
Pros: "The only good thing about the flight was the crew."
Cons: "I’m surprised there weren't chickens and goats flying with us. The seats were worn out and ratty. There was no where to charge a phone or electronics. No in seat tv screen so was forced to watch the tiny overhead screen of terrible tv shows and mediocre movies. I prepaid for a seat a head of time which was given to someone else. Also quite a bit of heavy turbulence the entire flight. Not ideal for an 8 hr flight. I’m lucky I brought an external charger and some xanax. Never again"
Cons: "The gentleman sitting next to me never turned his phone in to airplane mode. His phone rang several times while the flight attendant was going through the safety procedures right in front of us. This was after the announcement came that all electronic devices where to go into airplane mode. The flight attendant did not do anything and seemed to ignore the phone that kept ringing. The gentleman was even talking on the phone while the flight attendant was going through the safety procedures. Later while landing an announcement came over that we were to return to our seats, close all tray tables, and seats ts in the upright position. At this point the gentleman sitting next to me leaned his seat backwards. The flight attendant passed by the gentleman at least three times and never said anything about his seat back. Evidently this flight attendant did not care to do his job properly."
Cons: "Nothing wrong. Everything is excellent"
Pros: "Everything went smoothly, they gave us two snacks and earbuds and had a lot to watch for free."
Cons: "The wifi was useless."
Pros: "I liked boarding first and the additional leg room that I purchased"
Cons: "My TSA Pre was not on my boarding pass even though I have had a KTN since this past May!!"
Cons: "Cabin was like an icebox. People were wrapping up in sweaters and jackets. Many raised hands observed attempting to close the overhead vents. Multiple complaints to flight crew yielded a minor improvement but it was still on comfortably cool."
Pros: "The crew were amazing! The flight was smooth"
Cons: "I was on row 24 and my seat did not recline and the person in front of me seemed to recline more than anyone else did. Could not Get comfortable"
Pros: "The low price! It was on American Airlines which the same flight was more expensive. Professional flight attendants"
Cons: "Cramped seating but can't really complain because of the price"
Pros: "I like that it was on time"
Pros: "NOTHING !! I lost my flight because in the email I received you all put the wrong airline on it and nobody took responsability for it . I ended up paying $311.00 to get the next flight back to Austin ."
Cons: "In the email it was stated that my first flight was with British Airways, so i wasted time making the wrong line . Only to get to the counter and waste more tome trying to find me in the system to then tell me my flight is with American Airline . I double check my email where it clearly shows: 1st flight-British Airway and 2nd flight-American Airline . This is not acceptable, nobody wants to take responsability for sending me the wrong information in the email. Had I know both of my flights were with American Airline I wouldn’t lost my plane because I would make the right line to begin with ."
Pros: "All went well and without incident. Friendly crew. Easy On, easy off."
Cons: "flight delayed in Mazatlan 115 minutes, although told time would be made by pilot, not true.. No help in DFW, missed flight, had tickets in first and had to settle for coach 3 hrs. later."
Cons: "American Airlines"
Cons: "Attendant at the gate forced me to leave my troley hand bag to be checked with the excuse the fly was full and there was not sapce for people on groups 7 and 8 ( seats rear in te plane). I explained her I had personal documents and stuff inside my trolley but she told me I had to take another fly if I refused to checked. Our surprise was that the space above our seats ( row 30) was available and left empty the while fly! It was not fear and discriminated!"
Pros: "nothing horrible flight"
Cons: "This was almost a six hour flight there were no televisions available the flight was oversold and there were people on standby there was very little Lego room we were only offered snacks and drinks the crew was stressed we left late because we were instructed to check our carry-ons but that was not enforced until people were already on the plane getting on the plane and getting off the plane took a very long time there was very little leg room it was difficult to move around the plane because it was such a small plane the crew was very stressed out. I am very upset about this flight and will not fly with American ever again."
Cons: "Almost did not make it on the dieses flight because totally crowded at security check point."
Cons: "Never made it to San Juan to catch my cruise. To top things off I was a ship for two days without my luggage and underwears. Never again!!! Thank you JetBlue!!!"
Pros: "Everything was on time!"
Cons: "plane had mechanical problems - new plane and gate and an hour delay. - first drink should have been free"
Pros: "Entertainment, service, pilot and his crew were great."
Cons: "Food was not good. Can do better. As vegetarian there are lots of good places they can order the food from."
Pros: "I got to my flight with ease, my flight was on time and the pilot did an excellent job of taking off and a picture perfect landing . The attendants were quick to respond to my needs, ( I needed some trash thrown away and I had a request for coffee)"
Cons: "More space in coach. If there was a larger person next to me it would have been a different review"
Cons: "Delays and no communication on transfer options"
Pros: "Flight was late arriving; then 45 minutes late leaving for PHX, creating concern about catching connection. However, once arrived in PHX, the connecting flight was in the same concourse, which was often not the case. So, could easily make the connecting flight. Also, the push by crew to "valet check" carry in luggage was too aggressive, especially since there was ample space to store luggage above the seats, then having to wait 10 minutes or more to retrieve luggage at entryway while being concerned about connecting flights was an example of a poor system for serving passengers when a flight is let."
Pros: "The movie selection and how often we were given beverages."
Cons: "I was selected for a random inspection. I was pulled aside and went through a separate check in process. I completed everything I was instructed to do and as I'm boarding, I'm pulled aside and told I needed to go back to pre clearance because someone forgot to punch a hole in my boarding pass. The stewardess and j had to run all the way back to security so I could go through the whole process again. I delayed the flight and everyone was upset. It was completely unnecessary. Simply because one employee didn't do their job, I delayed a transatlantic flight to Chicago. Best part, I arrived at the airport four hours before my flight. Also, the seats are incredibly uncomfortable. And I was separated from my traveling companion for this entire process. Had I missed the flight, she would never have known."
Pros: "There were free movies and screen for each seat. It seemed like a new plane. Thank you"
Pros: "Friendly and prompt service."
Pros: "Flight was on time"
Cons: "Boarding is typical disorderly. Seating us getting smaller."
Pros: "Got me home safe"
Cons: "1st: the gate was changed three 20 mins before boarding 2nd: we were in the plane for an hr before actually flying out"
Pros: "I cannot even find a positive in describing my flighh experience on August 19-20, 2016"
Cons: "My flight was delayed, as I result I would miss my connecting flight. I was rerouted, making me arrive at my destination 4 hrs later than expected hence I missed my bus reservation to my place of stay. Oh! Not to mention, my luggage was lost and I had an event to attend a few hours later. Horrible experience."
Pros: "JoMarie was very helpful at LGB. And we eventually arrived at our destination."
Cons: "This was a horrible travel experience, the worst I have ever known. My uncle had died, so I had to search for the soonest and most economical flight in order to attend the funeral. Traveling with me was my aunt (his ex wife) and my cousin (his only daughter). Our initial flight was delayed 'due to mechanical issues' and they said we weren't going to make our connection in Phoenix. So they had to reroute the whole trip, which took about half an hour because all of the flights were full. So instead of flying from LGB - PHX - CLT - CAE and arriving Saturday night, we ended up departing from LAX (which we specifically were trying to avoid) almost 9 hours later. From there to DEN - CLT - GSP arriving Sunday morning. Because of this I had to contact the hotel and let them know that we weren't going to check-in until the next day, but I still ended up having to pay for Saturday night. Then, I had to cancel the rental car and make a new reservation to pick it up at GSP and return at CAE since the hotel was close to CAE, plus the return flight was through CAE. Also, wifi was an additional cost (which we didn't use because of this), the snacks were pitiful, and the seats were very narrow and uncomfortable. I have flown with JetBlue in the past, but on this occasion, last minute flights to South Carolina were prohibitively expensive. That being said, if I had known how bad the experience with American was going to be, I would have gladly paid literally double the price for the JetBlue tickets. And in the future, I will be flying exclusively with JetBlue no matter what the cost."
Cons: "I did not like the fact that American Airlines cancelled my 17 Yr old neice's flight from Dallas to Denver over a thing called "timed-out". And had her sleep in a room with a cott instead of a hotel room. And the fact that we as customers pay good money for tickets only to be subject to the airlines way of business. It is absolutely unacceptable!"
Pros: "Flight was fine, crew was professional and thoughtful."
Cons: "Crew seemed a bit out if sync....but only at first. Later, great."
Cons: "Broken headrest, no services, very loud older plane"
Pros: "Not 1 thing of it!"
Cons: "No plugs no tv no good food for a long flight."
