Cons: "The flight was delayed initially because of plane late arrival then rerouting and then delayed and cancelled. Spent the night on the floor with no offers for food or beverages or at least offering vouchers for delays not related to weather. Tried to lie and say it was weather related."

Cons: "Have the plane ready for take off. We had to taxi back in 2 times b/c of an electrical error. Flight attendants were rude, didn’t smile and annoyed when asked for a beverage. Every single leg of our trip was delayed significantly without any offer of compensation. No help to find a lost item."

Cons: "- Seats are very tight - Pay for luggage even on a transatlantic flight and your seat (if you want to choose) - Food was below average - even for airline standards, ran out of drink options even for dinner (the second time they serve drinks)"

Pros: "The crew was unpolished in the aspects of customer service. That being said they did respond fully to medical emergency, sought aid and landed us safely even if they panicked the entire time."

Pros: "When our flight was delayed in Denver the agent at the check in gate worked very hard to get our flight plans changed with as little impact as possible."
Cons: "We understand that delays happen but due to a delay on American Airlines we have lost our luggage and it doesn't seem likely it will be returned. We had five pieces of luggage lost during our flight from the U.S. to Spain. When we arrived in Madrid we were told that all five pieces had been located. When we went to pick them up the next day there were only four pieces at the airport. We were told the fifth suitcase would be delivered when it was located. It's ten days later and there's no sign of the luggage. It has taken multiple phone calls to get the information about the luggage correct. They assure me that they have everything correctly documented and then when I call back they haven't changed a thing. It has been a very frustrating process overall."

Cons: "When you are running late to make the flight it’s stressful enough. The last you need is an employee at the gate telling you that your caused the flight to leave late. By the way we took our seats and waited about 15 minutes before we pulled away from the gate and landed early. Airlines should recognize this is stressful for their customers and be trained to handle it differently. Furthermore most delays are not caused by customers. Also don’t charge $10 for a stale sandwich."

While standing in line to board the plane (no jetway), there were three groups waiting for three different flights. Crew was uninterested. When we arrived LAX, there was not gate available, so we sat (and sat) until they found one. Quite unpleasant."

Cons: "Connected from Cabo through Phoenix... seems that AA has really done a great job with passengers, but luggage is a whole other story, waited over an hour in Phoenix for luggage to come out, of course it didn't make the connection (had to clear customs in Phoenix)"

Cons: "Flight was delayed 30 minutes. Gate crew never announced business class boarding. As a result getting to the gate was a madhouse because all passangers jammed the boarding area. The food was not very good at all. Chicken was very dry. Earphones did not work So we could not enjoy the movie. Same problem on the way down. The seats on the 737 are anything but comfortable. Clearly more roomy in business class but not able to relax."

Cons: "I reached the Lima airport an hour before domestic flight from Lima to Cusco. The lady in charge told me the gate was closed. I told her it was an hour before and i had valid tickets and she was not ready to listen to anything. Horrible service ! Who closes gates to a flight an hour before ?"

Cons: "Neither of our bags made it to Jacksonville. We have an hour drive home and it is 10:15 PM and I am yet to be served by customer assistance because there is a line and only one person working the desk!"

Cons: "We waited on tarmac to depart from San Jose Cabo because of an AA paperwork screw up! Tower didn't have same flight info as pilot. The pilot apologized and crew was nice - but I missed my next flight and the replacement flight was delayed 2 hours. Bummer of a way to end an amazing vacation!!"

Cons: "my first flight was delayed by 4 hours so I automatically missed my connection. i called american to reschedule my flight for the next day in order to spend the night at my house and not have ro ask for hotel, they said no problem. when I go to she counter to explain they said that they would put me on a later flight and that they where sure I would make it. when I arrived miami I had missed my connection and they did NOT cover the hotel expenses they rebooked me for the next day at 5pm. no food no hotel no nothing. the next day I arrived at the airport counter the people at the american airline's counter did not want to let me thorugh because I had a one way ticket... after explaining for over 25 minutes they let me go.... the miami gloght to Bermuda then was also delayed for a total of 2 hours and they changed gates 8 times from one end to thw other and so on.... the worst service ever........"
