All of her instructions were unnecessarily snappy, but that’s the one that struck me most. He’s a service dog. He’s allowed to be here. Seats are too hard/rigid, and I wasn’t able to get much sleep due to discomfort/screaming babies. I don’t blame the babies though."

Pros: "Flew in premium economy - relatively comfortable. They had really good cheeseburgers for sale. The flight attendants were all professional. Had a special captain who came out of the cockpit to speak to the passengers over the intercomm. He was funny, personable and helped get the flight off on the right foot. I have about 350,000 miles with Alaska and about twice that number on other airlines. This was the first time I ever experienced such a personable interaction from a pilot. Flight attendants can be entertaining but pilots usually are too serious to make the passengers happy to be on board."

Pros: "I actually felt San Jose Del Cabo Airport was far more courteous and accommodating best at acknowledging us and asking if one needs help or if your okay. I realize this airport is far less busy but if was noticeable and notable. I also liked that the pilot announced we would be experiencing brief turbulence and described we will go up and down as if descending, so I was prepared and less stressed when I experienced exactly what pilot had described."

Also passenger seated next to me had asked for a burger, flight attendant replied she was not sure if she could fulfill request and best to order 24 hour prior to flight. She came back with a burger that smelled super delish and I regret not having one myself but there wasn't any left. Maybe stock up or start marketing because I am still thinking about that aroma and appealing burger..."

Cons: "When we make the reservation, WE TELL YOU that we have two kids ages 3 and 5 travelling with us. WHY DOES YOUR SYSTEM BREAK US UP INTO 3+ GROUPS? It just ends up in more work for your gate agents to put us together as well as you can before the flight. This happened on the flight out and the flight back. Also, on the flight back the agent and crew had to bump people who had already established themselves in their assigned seats in order to fit us in in a sane way. Also, don't make us download a sketchy app to view in-flight entertainment. There are ways to deliver entertainment that don't require installation of software for just a flight. Not that it matters to us, because entertainment wasn't available on the flight to cabo."

The flight attendants did nothing but gossip about other flight attendants (good and bad), their home life,etc. One rammed me with the cart & their body, woke me up, didn't even apologize. Just felt it was rude. I pay for my flight. I was trying to rest on my 4 hour flight before I had to tend to daughter who had cancer, I need the rest. And for what I paid, I should be able to. Not listen to Alaska's drama within."

"I wrote a review to Delta already expressing my dislike of the fact that I could not get a seat assigned upon checkin or even at the airport until maybe 1 hr before my flight. The cabo representative (not part of the flight crew based from Los Angeles) was rude and not accommodating, so my wife and I had to sit separately, which was frustrating to say the least, given I had followed the entire online check in protocol, including uploading digital copies of my negative COVID-19 test."

Mid row was empty per Covid, for flight comfort, this was somewhat a plus. Knowing air was filtered with HEPA filters every 2 minutes with fresh oxygen and outside air mix was also reassuring."

And then at the gate, I was supposedly "randomly selected" for ANOTHER swab/swipe security check. The flight itself was uncomfortable. There are not enough bathrooms for the number of people seated on the flight. The entertainment was the only excellent and recommendable thing about this delta flight."

Cons: "I booked KLM flights (Cork - Tampa return) but the planes were in fact Aer Lingus and Delta. So I have no idea what KLM is like. When I checked in at Cork the ground staff could only give me a boarding card for the first flight. For the second one she said I would have to go to the Delta counter in Amsterdam. It was difficult to find a counter there or staff as check-in was all by computer. The computer kept saying 'error' when I put in my code. I eventually was directed to a KLM desk (nicely hidden). I was told that my seat no longer existed. At this point the flight was ready to board. Thankfully the KLM ground staff were extremely helpful and reassuring and upgraded my ticket to economy comfort. On the way back, I could only get a boarding card for my first flight. The second two I had to collect at the boarding gate of the second flight."

Pros: "Our Delta plane was brand spanking new. Everything worked and the inflight entertainment system was fantastic with many movies to choose from, free headphones, games, tv shows, etc. The crew was polite and the seating at least as comfortable as expected for a 4 hour flight."

I'm a somewhat larger person and I fit, but I know a lot of people who would literally not be able to fit on the toilet without touching both of the sidewalls or risk getting stuck in there. The boarding process at San Jose Del Cabo was the most ridiculous setup I've ever experienced. There were numerous flights boarding out of the same gates and at least 3 or 4 lines for different destinations forming on a ramp just outside the gates. There were guys with signs trying to herd people into the correct lines and then loading the people onto buses which took you out to the planes. The planes were loading from both the front and rear doors and people were getting tangled up inside because of the haphazard loading process. Very easy for a person to end up on an incorrect plane!!"

She seemed very laissez faire and there was no information about the connections gate overhead or when I got off the plane. I think that if the flight is delayed, the airline should let passengers know where the close connection gate assignments are to save them time (my flight landed ten minutes after my connection was boarding). 2. The carry on luggage section was impossibly small so I had to gatecheck my bag and it took five minutes to get my bag back. Given the tight connection, this created additional anxiety."

By the way we took our seats and waited about 15 minutes before we pulled away from the gate and landed early. Airlines should recognize this is stressful for their customers and be trained to handle it differently. Furthermore most delays are not caused by customers. Also don’t charge $10 for a stale sandwich."

Coming back was worse after multiple delays, they cancelled the flight. they put me on a flight for next day with 2 connections which will reach ny almost 20 hrs later, no aplogises, no hotel room. After more calls put me in another United flight later that night which also finally got cancelled. I had to book a new flight with delta and paid $460 on the spot for that. Still awaiting my refund from American for the return leg which was cancelled and left a lady traveling alone stranded at Detroit airport in the night. Apology or compensation -- forget it, you will never get that! Only now if they can refund my cancelled flight..."

Nobody at the gate could help us and all said different things when we spoke to different gate agents. The experience was unpleasant and the flight was uncomfortable."

Cons: "The flight was originally scheduled to take off at 8:20 pm, but due to several delays did not end up getting off the ground until after 11 pm. After being in the air for about 45 minutes we were informed that there were issues with the engine and that we would be turning around and heading back to Dallas. By this point it was after midnight, and although I was appreciative that safely is a priority, there was no communication as to what the next steps were. After landing we were finally told that we would have to deplane, and after we sat around the gate for awhile we were informed that the flight would be delayed until 5 am. Being 12:50 am at this point a hotel would have been nice, but we were informed that AA was "out of hotels" but that if we wanted we could have a $12 food voucher to use at the one restaurant that was open several terminals over. The AA employee assisting in handing out the food vouchers seemed extremely unapologetic about the situation which didn't help with the frustration everyone was feeling. I will not be booking with AA again, and will be passing along my negative experience to family and friends. It is worth spending the extra money on a ticket for an airline that is more reliable with better customer service."

Cons: "Delays due to to weather is not a new thing to worry, but flight delay should be informed early to the passengers so that I should have planned the arrival to the airport accordingly, but I was told just before the gate prior to boarding time and the delay was around 3 hrs."

We arrived a few minutes too late for my partner to check in with his luggage so they even arranged it so that he would be able to still catch the flight but the luggage would be sent on the following flight. Definitely saved us from the stress of having to be split up and worried on when there would be room for him to catch an alternate flight."
Cons: "My complaints are with Newark airport (EWR). The AirTran took over 10-15min to arrive and when it finally did we had to get off and wait for another one which didn’t have space for everyone so a group of us had to wait even longer for the next one to arrive. A guy said he missed his flight last time that happened. They had more trains going to the parking lot for customers leaving the airport than they did for people catching their flights! Then there was only one security check in line, even for expedited check in. Despite allocating extra time for our overall commute, we still made it right on time for boarding so make sure to give yourself PLENTY of time when dealing with EWR."

This supervisor then confirmed that my 30 min connection was "on the screen, if you don't like it you shouldn't have booked it, since you used an agent we are not doing anything and it's not our problem". Offered to move me to the earlier flight for $775 per ticket. For a 2 hour flight that was only one leg and also same day. Disgusting people."

When I got to the counter they said they had no record of my reservation. When I showed them the Lufthansa reservation they told me it actually was for a United flight, even though it clearly said Lufthansa . I had to wait another 45 minutes in the United line to retrieve my boarding pass, then about another hour to go through passport control and security. I barely made my flight. I will never make a reservation through Kayak again. I am deleting your app."

Cons: "I thought I had found a great deal when I bought my Frontier ticket. Later, I learned they not only charge a fee to check a bag (increasingly common) but to carry on a bag. Basically, if your travels require, you know, clothes or any personal belongings, you'll be paying an additional $30-60 each way. In my case, it was an additional $70 total which means it was no longer my perceived "great deal". On the first flight, I thought I missed the beverage service..oh well. On the return flight, I realized they apparently don't even do a true beverage service because I finally had to ask an attendant for water just so I could take my medication. What else...it was an international flight and they had zero writing utensils to lend to fill out the customs forms. When I arrived at the airport for my return flight I discovered they were the only airline for which you couldn't check-in at a kiosk. This resulted in being forced to stand in the only giant line when I didn't even have a bag to check. After realizing just how cheap Frontier has become--and that it ends up costing much more, I will never fly them again."
Cons: "It's a sham to offer an "inexpensive" ticket price, when that payment only ALLOWS you to pay additionally for your seat! checked luggage! carry-on luggage! any and all food and drink on the plane! The trip ended up costing us twice the ticket price. When we landed in Phoenix it took 45 minutes to get our luggage because they were short on workers, so the same people took our luggage off the plane, then loaded the next flight's luggage on the plane while letting ours sit in the rain, before bringing us the off-loaded now wet luggage. Flight attendants barely do anything! Mostly they stand - or sit - around in the back talking and laughing amongst themselves. Never again!"

Pros: "Both flights felt like there wasn't a sense of urgency. Although my flights went smoothly personally, others fell victim to the extra fees for not checking in a bag ahead of time. The customer service when checking into the flight to Detroit was appalling, however. The reps made us check in at a certain time and then disappeared when that time came, leaving a brand new employee to himself and I'm assuming a manager with his arms crossed. Not engaging his line, letting them know he'd be right with them. Customers frustrated began cutting the line and it's understandable, getting charged up to three times as one put it for the same bag. All that aside, I liked that I could pick my seat and naturally chose the front of the plane. The crew on way home was amazing! Very friendly and kind hearted."

Have to pay for every single thing (extra to pick your seat, extra for every single bag, they give you no snack or beverage, seats do not recline). With all the extra fees it was no cheaper than any other airline out there. And every single airline I've been on has been substantially better."

I re-booked with another airline only to find out the original flight with Frontier was not cancelled so I essentially paid for two return flights. Will never sly frontier or spirit ever again."

Pros: "The actual flight is fine. The leg is just about 60 mins and the price of the fare is the most attractive portion. For $50 RT, there is not much to expect when you fly a discount carrier. What made the trip a bad experience was the return flight, where two consecutive flights were cancelled with no clear explanation to the reason (definitely not weather related). To reach my destination in time, a separate one-way ticket had to be purchased at an alternative near by airport. Frontier is certainly a low cost carrier, but not very reliable to Reach your destination"

I finally arrived to the front of the line after about 45 minutes and 50% of the people behind me were on flights leaving in 30 minutes or less and had to go ahead of my husband and I. They obviously did not arrive with the advised amount of time allowance. It wasn't my fault I arrived with plenty of time and I had to deal with the verbal abuse from people having to go ahead. Maybe if they missed their flight, next time they would arrive earlier with enough time. It sure wasn't a very pleasant experience at all."

We were promised breakfast/lunch vouchers and a voucher from Frontier, however we never received the breakfast/lunch voucher...so people sat around waiting for this voucher instead of going to get something to eat on their own. I did receive a flight voucher for another flight with frontier for $25 off, but I must book in 90 days. I understand flights will be delayed time and again, but it was how they handled the situation, how we were promised vouchers we did not receive and how we were NOT notified earlier of our delayed flight that I was upset. Airlines should be upfront with their customers who may be traveling for time sensitive events."
