Probably could have had better seats earlier if she could have listened to my issue but she wouldn't listen to me. Didn't even have the chance to tell her what had happened."

Pros: "I loved the attitude and helpful approach of the female flight attendant working the AA gate for the flight I took from DFW to COS last night (6/13). Truthfully, it was almost like I was back with Southwest. She was kind, calm, polite, efficient, and capable. Very rare in my experience with American Airlines yesterday. Interacting with her was refreshing."
Cons: "Getting home to Colorado Springs at 11:30 PM, taxiing for 15-20 minutes, and then waiting another 20-30 for checked luggage! Never have I waited that long during and after a Southwest flight! AA could truly learn something from their more modest counterpart. I have all but decided to resume my drives to Denver every other week rather than risk more and more time and poor experiences with AA flying in-and-out of Colorado Springs."

I understand that these issues occur, but better communications and empathy from the ground crew would have gone a long way. Boarding was also a disaster because everyone tried to board at the same time and again, the ground crew did nothing to control the situation."

Other airlines I've flown the past months always do something for military."

Really? My $300+ ticket isn't worth pretzels AND two cookies? Seems silly. And, you know that have BOXES of these free snacks."

Second, the gate agent charged me and let me board, but her boss came on the plane and pulled me off because I wasn't Executive Platinum status! The plane took off with an empty seat and I had to wait two more hours for the first flight. When I complained to AA about it, they sent me a $50 voucher. I don't plan on giving any business to AA for the rest of my life."

Cons: "No one could get their story straight and actually lied! I was sent a text (I was already at the airport) that the flight would be delayed due to "aircraft maintenance". Not true in the least bit. Then when we finally landed in Denver (nearly every person on that flight missed their connecting flights) we were told the system said the delay was "due to weather". Another lie. Then they announced there would be gate agents to meet us when we got off the plane to assist with connecting flights. First gate agent said "I have no information you have to go to gate 56". The person at gate 56 said "I don't open for another 15 minutes so you have to go to gate 39"! The real story? They made us change gates 5 times in Fargo! The gate attendant was using the "F-bomb"! It wasn't aircraft maintenance or the weather. They couldn't get the walkway to work! In the end, we still left from the original gate and had to walk outside on the tarmac to board the plane. Why didn't they just opt for that to begin with and avoid all the missed flights? My measly voucher isn't nearly enough compensation and if United ever expects me to fly with them again I am expecting a full refund (as other passengers received- I witnessed the manager in Denver authorize a full refund for another passenger but only offered me $50)"

Very poor management I was stuck in Chicago with no money or food for hours then after they start boarding for my new flight they tell me that I may not be able to get on even with ticket in hand. Cons: "To start, my flight was delayed an entire hour due to our plane being towed from terminal B all the way to terminal C. I feel that is something that should have been looked into considering where the plane was coming from previously and the flight should have been planned for a later time to accommodate the wait time. Then as I am about to board the plane overhead compartment space ran out of room forcing me to check a bag which is why I brought a carry on to avoid any confusion when it came to checking the bag itself. When I arrive in Denver I go immediately to the baggage carousel and wait almost a half an hour for my bag which never shows up. Turns out when being forced to check my bag at the door it was tagged incorrectly with someone else's name and also a different flight schedule then my own. The Denver United team helped me find my bag, but after an hour and a half the ride I had arranged had left, I was over two hours late for a get together I was attending, with no way of getting home. I have never had such a terrible flying experience like the one I experienced on 12/11/15. I will never fly United again. I work in customer service I understand that people make mistakes but bottom line is to mark someone's bag with someone else's name is an extremely careless mistake that cost me my way home, my time, and my patience. Needless to say I was extremely unhappy and disappointed with United yesterday."
