United crew hid in the galley the whole trip wit lititle to no interaction with passengers. My flight today on Delta was great; food really excellent (Chicken Tika) and the crew was great as usual. Then on of my checked luggage was lost enroute - which made getting off the flights even later which made me miss a meeting that I was scheduled to be at. All because you didn't have the crew needed to check in."

They brought out water and sodas while we waited. Then reboarded and got into Charlotte about three hours late. Lots of very unhappy people. They passed out 800 numbers to rebook. A lot of people missed connections."

Cons: "Allegiant 468 7/27 4 1/2 hour delay on flight 569 on 7/27 and not a single person on the ground or plane even said sorry. Allegiant also failed to update the revised departure time. Allegiant posted an initial delay of 30 minunutes but then, when there was a further 2 hour delay due to a problem with the plane in Vegas Allegiant didn't update the time. (G4 568 was showing a two hour delay, with a 1010 arrival into STS but Allegiant never updated the departure time for 569 to reflect the additional two hour delay.) It wasn't until I called that it got updated and when I called I had to point out that the airplane hadn't even left Vegas and Allegiant was still showing an 8:50 departure time. It also took the reservation agent over 20 minutes to get any information about what was going on. Lastly each and every time I call I was on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes before being able to speak to a person"

I had a problem that needed resolved and instead of diligently helping me, she would turn to another customer, totally ignore my concerns and speak Spanish with this other woman. When I was at the counter first, not the other woman. The Service Agent in Orland on my way back was rude as well. She gave my Mom and I attitude about my luggage being overweight. Told us to pay the $50 or figure it out. We had expressed already paying the $18 to check the luggage to begin with and wanted to see if that amount could be included in the $50. The Service Agent scoffed at us and turned up her nose. Great air service, horrible ground service."

The tickets are not THAT much less money than some airlines, and other airlines include your seat cost, carry-on baggage, drink and snack at NO EXTRA CHARGE."

Cons: "Seat assignment pricing slowly tickin up as I check in seemed predatory. Baggage policy confused most people and made boarding slow. Rude worker. Everything costs $$$. Not worth the headache for the few bucks saved (I saved $20 at the end of day to not take Delta.)"

Cons: "Frontier's sketchy and questionable excuse of the weather. You can't blame weather for cancellations all across the country, while simultaneously loosing planes, having technical difficulty and staffing issues. The two numbers provided for customer assistance don't work claiming that the line is no longer in seevice. Our flight from Denver to Greensboro was delayed as well. Now my party has had to rent a car, drive 24 hours to get home and naturally had to take additional time off work. Frontier is also claiming that are only giving 50% refunds. Though not Kayak's concern, maybe the connected traveling powers that be can encourage them to rethink that."

There were delays in the flights without any offer to help calculate when we'd be arriving at our destination nor any attempt to make it right (like with a small token such as a free food/drink item). You guys lost my luggage - the delays in all led to a 3.5 hour delay in me seeing my kids, who were staying up late to see me after I was gone for a week. Being inexpensive is laudable only if you provide equivalent service - my impression after this flight is its inexpensive and I got what I paid for...unless there is some overture to win back my business, I'll not fly Fronteir again and will be suggesting my friends and colleagues not either."

Cons: "The plane smelled awful. It was old. The seats were way to upright and uncomfortable. This made many people recline. This encroaches on the small amount of space of the person behind."

Cons: "My flight was delayed on my way to Denver by about an hour. I was delayed getting home by OVER 2 1/2 HOURS! And one and a half of those hours was in the tarmack due to gross negligence. I talked to my friends some of which are travel agents and all said the same. That Frontier is a nightmare and to never deal with them. From now on I won't."

Cons: "Flight was delayed both going and coming back, both times blamed on Denver... seats were not particularly comfortable and only 1st 3 rows were reclinable... no entertainment, pay for everything except cup of ice, but it was an economy flight... crew was okay both ways... boarding not bad, but should allow 1. handicapped 2. veterans and 3. passengers without carry-on luggage to board and exit first"

Cons: "First of all, when I went to check in I discovered that there was a $40 fee to carry a bag on. I was very upset about this, I booked through kayak and had no indication this was the case. Had I known I would have spent an extra $20 and bought a ticket from a better airline. Honestly I would like to be compensated this money.... what happened to transparency in flight fees? From there it only got worse. The plane and staff were terrible. The seats didn't even recline and were horribly uncomfortable. I booked a redeye planning to get some sleep but it was impossible. This was hands down my worst flying experience ever."

Pros: "The flight was on time and we even landed a little early. The crew was super polite and I was allowed to use my $100 voucher to pay for my bag and my seat. The experience was so smooth it almost made up for the 10 hour delay I experience on my flight to Denver."
Cons: "I didn't like that I had to pay for everything. No free bag, no free soda, no free snacks, nothing."

Pros: "The flight itself was nice and smooth and the pilot did a good job letting us know what was going on throughout the flight."
Cons: "There were many things that were frustrating about this flight. First of all, the flight was delayed, which is something I can look past because it was based on the fact that the plane was coming from somewhere else that had a delay. However, when we were finally able to board the flight crew did a terrible job leading the boarding process. There were many customers who were standing for long periods of time in the aisle so nobody could pass. Instead of the flight crew taking initiative to lead people through this process they just kept making announcements on the intercom for people to keep moving, although I don't think anyone was really listening. When we landed we were told that a flight attendant had called in sick on the plane that was currently at the gate that we were supposed to go into. This meant that one of the flight attendants on our flight had to leave out of the side door and go on the other flight so that they could finish boarding and leave. This process took an inordinate amount of time as we were stuck in our plane on the runway for 50 minutes to an hour. I could sense that that pilot was also frustrated because the airport would not let us approach the gate. The worst part was that the smell of jet fuel was extremely prominent for about a 15 minute period while we were sitting there with the engines on waiting to move. This was very unpleasant and lead to a feeling of being a bit lightheaded. I tried to remain as patient as possible because I really believe this situation was very random and outside of the control of basically everyone involved but it was very frustrating from the point-of-view of a passenger. We were already delayed by over 30 minutes when we left and another hour after we arrived, which made it a very late flight. I hope that in the future Frontier creates a better system for when one of their fight crew members calls in sick because the way it was handled this time was extremely unprofessional."

Pros: "Seatmate was pleasant to visit with, but that was not Frontier's fault."
Cons: "Every bit as bad as the previous Frontier flight above. I will not fly Frontier again because of their abusive additional charges after you buy the ticket."
