The AA staff was aware the plane had mech issues and decided to board us anyways. After 45 mins of sitting and waiting around in our seats, the pilot preceded to ask us to deplane the aircraft. AA gave us a lousy food voucher and booked us on the next available flight to Miami which wasn't until 1145pm! AA crew/staff handled the situation in a disappointing manner. The AA crew at the gate spoke in a condescending manner as if were young kids! I was appalled by that! I will not be flying AA anytime soon!"

People were coming in line from every direction and it took forever to walk a few feet to get my boarding pass scanned. Then about 1hr into flight it's was freezing in the front of the plane, I was in row 5 and the only solution given to several of those who inquired about it was to "take a walk to the back, it's warmer back there". We were dressed for the winter up front and people in the back were comfortable. It was ridiculous. Mind you this was a tiny plane 1 seat on the right and 2 on the left so not a lot of room to stand and move around."

Her flight was missed booked to leave after mine, I attempted to rebook my flight with Luthansia but they would not let me me even partial rebook. I attempted a number of times to rebook the flight but their solution was extreme financial gain for them when more reasonable alternative could have been arranged. They canceled my entire return flight and left me stranded. I had to piece together a return flight on a shoe string budget. Thankfully American Airlines was understanding for it appears Luthansia and United are not."

Several I tried to get a crew member attention which she ignore . I was told I couldn't have a blanket because they are only given to first class customers only but on my flight to Batltimore I was given a blanket in coach"

I understand that there was inclimate weather, however, it is the duty of an airline to notify travelers of their flights status. When approaching the front desk about the flight, a desk person had the nerve to ask me if I realized that it snowed. He is quite lucky that I didn't file a complaint. I have no words to describe my disgust for his poorly timed sarcasm, especially because this flight was en route to a family emergency."

Cons: "I was traveling with a friend and the morning of our flight to return home we got an email saying that they had to switch to a smaller aircraft and that not everyone would get a seat. When we arrived they said the people that checked in the earlier would get seats and the ones that were towards the last to check in did not have seats. They told us that they would give us a $500 voucher to could only be used with Frontier flights and that we can get on their next flight 6 DAYS LATER. Also the voucher has to be used only on one trip and can not be put towards luggage or anything else. They would not compensate us for stay or food for that week. Which meant that we would spend more money by staying. They had rude employees that’s made it sound like it was our fault that we did not check in before everyone else. It should not matter when I check in when I have already bought a seat and shoes up on time. We were 2 out of 17 people that were not given seats. They then said that we should just rent a car and drive 13 hours home. I seriously would not recommend booking with this airline."

Will avoid Frontier at all costs in the future. Seats are thin, hard and so close together. No room between seats. Seats do not recline unless you are in emergency exit room. If you want to select your seat during check-in, they charge you extra. Even for a seat in the last row on the plane was an extra $5 just to select it. Seats closer to the front were an extra $25, but these are not better seats or offer more room, just the ability to get off the plane faster after landing. Carry on baggage cost extra and checked bags are $40. After paying for baggage, seats, a water on a round trip, the low cost turned out to be more expensive than another carrier with seats that are more comfortable and gave you more room between seats, entertainment and a free soft drink or water."

I approached the desk to verify with an employee pre-boarding to ensure I will receive this voucher. She was annoyed with me from the start repeatedly saying it will be emailed after takeoff, which was NOT my question. My question was to verify that the email on file was correct. She had a very hard time getting this to her head. However, it has been over a week and I have yet to receive this voucher. Unless, I receive this voucher I will never recommend this airline."
Cons: "First and last time flying Frontier. The flight from Memphis to Denver was worst flying experience ever. We were delayed 2+ hours which no one is ever happy about. However, I have NEVER experienced a crew member take this out on the passengers. She was snippy and rude to EVERYONE, in person and over the PA. She refused my husband a cup of water because he was trying to reuse a cup (he got water for me so I could take medicine when we reached altitude). She told him he would have to wait until everyone had water first before he could have seconds and refused to hear his explanation. The crew in general seemed to think it was ok to prod us on like cattle to make up for lost time. I overheard another passenger call her Cruella Deville. On the return flight (on time and pleasant crew) the crew informed us they were the cleaners at the end of the flight and asked several times for help in this endeavor."

The Captain and Flight attendants just started moving to another location! Not only will I never fly with Frontier again, I will actively tell everyone I know that flies to never fly with Frontier not just once, but every time I hear the word airplane. In the positive section I mentioned that the flight attendants were good with letting us know what is going on, well the Captain is the one that is supposed to be the one letting us know what is going on, not the flight attendants. Whatever Frontier has got going on, seems like it is overwhelming. I will never fly with them again."

Secondly, when waiting to board, the staff person at the counter made a drawn-out announcement about the checked bag fee increasing no fewer than twenty times. Similarly, the credit card membership announcement during the flight was a fifteen-minute affair that was irritating and unwelcome. I understand that it's a budget airline and that part of enjoying reduced ticket fare is a compromise to endure advertisements and extra fees for things, but when it becomes endless and annoying, preventing you from talking to your neighbor, sleeping, or just enjoying the flight, it really calls into question whether it's worth it. Finally, the cabin was much too hot and, although several people called it to the staff's attention, the air conditioning never seemed to work. Overall it was an uncomfortable and unpleasant experience that made me reconsider whether it was worth the reduced fare, which isn't all that much lower than the mainstream option. I was disappointed and frustrated."

I'm not flying Spirit again. 2nd try using them , both experiences bad."
