Cons: "Don't offer a flight for an overseas destination that you cannot fly to. my flight was canceled so I did not need this connecting flight and had to wait two months for the ticket money to be fully refunded, after many phone calls."

The staff did not help and the manager kept walking off to assist other people while in the middle of conversation! We could have made our flight of they were a bit more helpful and attentive. The staff was very unprofessional, extremely rude and ignored our concerns of not being able to sit with our 7year old daughter, at least one of us! They found us a flight to Seattle which then connected to Chicago but expected us to pay for the plane tickets since they denied responsibility for having lost our luggage. They said it was our fault we missed our flight. It was such a terrible experience for my family."

After trying online and tried calling China southern. I finally got someone that speaks Thai to do it for me and reserve a window seat. I tried calling and pressing 3 for English and no one ever picked up. Very disappointed"

Cons: "Chinese airlines often require you to take a bus at boarding and then carry your suitcases up large flights of steps to enter the plane - this was the case in Xiamen. This flight often is delayed and this was the case. The food was below average. WiFi is free but it blocks google and gmail."

Pros: "The Xiamen reps at the SGN airport was insensitive and arrogant. We were not able to board because of a misunderstanding on the China visa-free program. I still fully believe they are wrong. I had to book 2 new one way tickets with China Southern and wait all day at the airport."

Cons: "This was a discount garbage carrier. I have ridden on cargo boats off the coast of Nicaragua that I would recommend before Xiamen. They don’t give you your connecting boarding pass when you leave the country. You have to go through China’s bullshit customs service three times just to get to your next flight. Chinese customs is like a bowl full of retarted fish smelling their own farts. Six people doing nothing while one blithering idiot Stubles through paperwork."

Cons: "I received an email that my ticket had been changed. In stead of a layover in Yantai, the new ticket said I had a layover in Qingdoa. I went to check in and the Shandong airlines employees said that both tickets had been cancelled. Thankfully they gave me a free ticket to Yantai, but were completely different time. I am very upset with Kayak or whoever changed my times."

Cons: "Boarding time was the same as standard flights, when this route is on a Chinese shopping destination. Plane was delayed 30 minutes because half of the passengers needed to check luggage at the gate. Either boarding should be earlier, or the one bag per passenger rule should be enforced before getting to the gate. Nearly half the plane had brought at least two or three carry-on suitcases."

Pros: "They had passcodes for certain people, but when they ran out no one else could use the internet...I was one of those people who couldn't use the internet. Dinner wasn't great, but breakfast was good. They had some options to learn Chinese on the tv.so that was fun."

Cons: "I paid for first class but was told when I checked in at the airport that there was no first class. Moreover, the airline did not automatically provide an economy seat for me. Instead, when I arrived at the airport, I was told that I did not have a seat on the flight. Only after finding an agent who spoke English and 45 minutes of discussion did they provide me with a seat in economy. That said, they owe me at least a partial refund but did not provide any information about how I can obtain it."
