Cons: My bags arrived completely wet and some things got ruined. Never flying with this airline again.

Pros: I was lucky enough not to be put into a middle seat or next to a stranger during this pandemic.
Cons: No social distancing and no enforcement of wearing a mask properly. Wearing one on your chin or half of your mouth with your nose hanging out needs to be corrected. Empty seats should be utilized for social distancing regardless of fare. First class and the back half of the planes were practically empty while everyone was in the center. We should have been allowed to spread out.

Cons: If American Airlines didn’t delay 10 minutes so you miss your connecting flight twice within 1 trip

Cons: During boarding female staff disengaged, not calling passengers to her podium to take boarding pass. She made boarding much slower

Cons: Pre-boarding drinks could have been offered to all business class customers, but again, the flight attendants with American aren’t as customer service oriented as those from Delta.

Cons: They lost my luggage and barely made it to connection flight with nobody to help find gate

Cons: Poor they lost my luggage. They did not allowed me to take my suitcas whit me because the plan was too small. I never travel again whit amercan airlines

Pros: Easy check in, helpful staff. Great seats and lovely in-flight amenities. Most of the food was really good and quite a bit was offered during the flight. Arrived early and staff was really helpful in getting through customs.
Cons: Weight limit on baggage was very strict. Boarding took a long time and seemed disorganized.

Cons: We were rerouted by JustFly prior to our trip. Instead of Venice - Philadelphia-Tampa at noon, we were moved to Venice - London - Chicago - Tampa. Flight from London - Chicago was delayed 6 hours. Of course missed connection in Chicago. Spent night in Chicago and arrived home 48 hours after leaving for Venice airport.

Cons: Flight departure was delayed by 4.5 hours. Then when we finally landed, we had to wait nearly 2 hours on the tarmac before we taxied to the gate. American kept us in the dark about what was happening -- I might have made different plans if I had known what was going on.

Pros: Food was surprisingly good. Smooth ride could have been just good weather, but it was nice. We got in early!!!
Cons: Legroom was ok for me because I'm short. Others may have needed more.

Cons: Trying to make any changes to the booking or check in was horrible. Because this was booked through kayak, then through an agent, then ultimately an Iberia booking on a British Airways / American flight, it took about 5 rounds of phonecalls being passed to another company or another department to get anything done. Sure the flight was cheap, but 6 hours of phone calls to get anything done is unacceptable. The plane used for this flight is ancient. Very tired seating, and no seatback entertainment. One children's film shown on the central TV screen followed by old sitcoms....For a transatlintic flight, this is really poor.

Pros: Overall flight was great. Crew, pilot, flight attendants, boarding, everyone and everything was great. Water and orange juice was offered even for a 45 min short flight.

Cons: a little more room between people and more padding in the seats. also delta used to have a screen in each seat and you could see where you were and how far you have gone and so on. could also see more and music.

Cons: There was water dripping from the vents. When I tried to inform the flight attendant, she shut me down so fast I couldn't believe it. All she had to do was reassure me that it wasn't a safety issue. Her attitude was like she was tired of telling passengers that it was perfectly normal. Very unprofessional!

Cons: The boarding was unorganized, the person calling for boarders had a heavy accent and hard to understand, many of us missed our group call. Boarders were positioned every where and it was hard breaking thru the crowd to get to the boarding area. A real cattle call. Inside, the plane is very confined environment. The wine was a nice touch but I don't drink. The food served was not the greatest.

Pros: The only thing to like was arriving on time.
Cons: Paid extra for priority boarding, that was a mistake. We got boarding group one but by the time all the families with kids, first class, and frequent flyers went ahead of us they called all remaining groups together. Forget about overhead space left over, we had to gate check carry on. Seats were very uncomfortable, no room under the seat because of a big metal box for power outlets. No leg room, sat shoulders and thighs touching with neighbors. No meal service, just drinks and pretzels, luckily we ate before departure. Never again!

Cons: The airline overbooked the flight,so even though I had a ticket and was NOT standby, I almost didn't make it on even though there were seats available (after two people forfeited their seats) bc they were worried about over-weighting the plane. Then they packed us like sardines into the back row of the plane.

Cons: Baggage charge. I always try and fly with southwest if possible no baggage fee and they have an overall better vibe for the flyers

Cons: The airlines cancelled my flight. I had an early morning meeting in Sydney so I couldn't fly out on the only other Qantas flight (which was 2 hours earlier than my scheduled). Spent 4 hours on hold with American and Qantas before being rebooked for the following day. Had to pay for another night's lodging and food.

Cons: Boarding was a mess as needed crew members that knew Spanish. Plane overloaded so had to hard check bags.

Cons: I have dietary restrictions and called Qantas and ordered a special meal. Little did I know I was supposed to call American Airlines so I never got a meal I could eat. Apparently Qantas doesn't relay the meal requests to American. Awful service!!
