Then again, I was in a deep sleep most of the time and could have easily been leaning into the aisle....I'm not really sure. Overall though, best flight I've had in a while. My biggest complaint about this flight wasn't with Delta itself, but with the man next to me who half way through the flight decided he didn't need to wear his mask anymore. With so many headlines in the news of people going insane on flights about wearing masks, I wasn't about to ask him to put it on. I was disgusted by his lack of concern for the law and the health of those travelers around him. I know that Delta Flight Attendants did not sign up to be the mask police, but I really wish someone would have told him to put a mask on. People like him are ruining what would have otherwise been a really great flight/traveling experience. I'm happy Delta is bringing back meals on longer flights (in first class). The food was good but I am excited for the day when actual meal service returns. Maybe when people like my seat mate start wearing their masks and following the rules we can go back to having nice things.

Boarding was on time (if not a little early). The flight was unfortunately not properly catered for snack boxes in main cabin. This is likely a one off instance, but it’s a long flight for no food options other than pretzels and Biscoffs. Service was attentive and friendly. This particular flight offered Delta’s DeltaOne lay flat first class seats. Would highly recommend. Flight left on time and arrived early!

i missed the cutoff for luggage by 1 minute in eugene. the woman told me i have to bring my big suitcase with me and check it on the plane but i would be fine . There were several others and getting through was long and by the time we got to the gate they had just shut it . i was out on the next flight from eugene to san francisco but could not get on a flight from san francisco to san diego until late in the afternoon. i had to be in mexico to give a talk and they said that there would be no room on the first connecting flight. So i purchased a ticket on line to be sure I could get to my talk. I went to the United Agent in Eugene behind the counter and explained what i had done and she promised me she would be sure my suitcase made the new flight . It did not . i am on my way to Tecate Mexico and my suitcase with all my clothes and information for my talk is in san francisco . She was certain and said for sure the suitcase would be with me and I am very distressed -I used 55,000 miles to make sure i was on time and now i don’t have my suitcase abs necessary things and no one seems to know how to get it to my hotel .

Cons: "Please don't board us and then proceed to make us wait on the plane for an additional two hours. The flight is onnly 80 minutes... and we waited in our seats with no entertainment or services for two hours. Please do not board passengers when you know that we won't be able to take off -- that's ridiculous!"

Cons: "Zero entertainment. Too cramped"
Pros: "The app promoted me to check in on my phone and would not allow me to check in. So I assumed the time on the ticket would be my boarding time. I was late for my flight."
Cons: "My 10:00 p.m. flight was canceled so I had to spend the night trying to sleep in the airport. Have you ever had to do that? Not fun."
Pros: "The middle seat was empty, the boarding process was fast."
Cons: "I always feel a bit crowded in United flights, the seats are very close. Tried to used the free inflight entertainment and it didn’t work in my computer, which was a bummer. The arm rest was sticky."
Cons: "The day after my flight I received an emailed receipt of the the customer in front of me of her lunch order, I’m sure it was an honest mistake but to me paying attention to details like that is very important. There was no personal information on the receipt, I was just wondering on how it was emailed to me instead of her."
Pros: "The staff were fine, nothing really great, but nothing bad either."
Cons: "So, we'll start with boarding. Why airlines can't figure out to board the plane from back to front is beyond me. No, let's load front to back so everyone has to uncomfortably shove past the people who have already taken their seats at the front of the plane. Then you get back there and all the overhead bins are full because everyone takes as many bags as possible onto the plane. Then you have to sacrifice the already tiny amount of foot room, "to put the bag fully underneath the seat in front of you." At this point you should be fine, except if you're over five and a half feet tall (I don't know if that's true I'm 6'2" and 275 lbs,) because then your knees are going to be buried so deep in the chair in front of you that the person up there doesn't even need a seat they can just sit on your knees. Luckily for you tall people, they put a nice metal rod just about knee level to really dig in and cause pain . . . Yay! Being a big guy, you try to be considerate and fold your arms in to give the person next to you as much space as possible, but don't expect that back as they'll spread out and become as wide as possible. Then to distract yourself from the discomfort, you try to use the free in flight entertainment via the United app, but "it's not available right now." In summation either be short and small or be rich and buy the seats with extra legroom when you fly United."
Pros: "I liked the customer service wfrom the woman who helped us find a way with patience to get a working card to get our luggage checked in. I liked the customer service on the flight they were attentive and friendly."
Cons: "The options to pay baggage with one card is rough on the average traveler, the baggage charges cost as much tickets!"
Cons: "We had to run to get to our plane because of the ridiculous time-window you guys allowed (15 minutes if everything went according to plan--which it didn't)."

Cons: "Late departure due to late arrival of the plane from previous destination. Pushed our arrival time after midnight. Rental car agency was closed and had to rent from a different one at a very steep premium. No apologies and no assistance."

Cons: "I saw my bag come out of the baggage claim ripped open. My stuff coming out. My zipper was complety destroyed and my locking mechanism on my bag was ripped off even though it wasn't locked."

Cons: "After 5 delays, 10 text alerts for boarding and gate chances flight cancelled with no rescheduling assistance. Did not have customer service representative tell us the flight was cancelled had to call 1-800 number. It was horrible."
Pros: "The plane was newer at least. And I made a big enough stink when they made me check my bubble-wrapped framed paintings that they actually did get hand carried and made it okay."
Cons: "These are the smallest seats I have ever experienced on a domestic airline. I'm 6'-4" and I couldn't fit comfortably on their newer 737. The thing that took the cake was that the cabin crew absolutely refused to let me take one of the 5 empty exit row seats telling me that it wasn't fair to the people who paid more, which absolutely enraged me. So then apparently it's also fair that their seats will fit someone who is 5'-4" comfortably but not someone who is 6'-4"?? So it's fair that I can't afford to pay an extra $100+ for it after my profession got gutted in the recession and I make a fraction now of that I used to make? Making your customers suffer for no good reason is inexcusable. I will not be flying United again. Ever."

Cons: "Given that both flights were delayed - my luggage managed to not make the second flight leaving me to cancel my plans for the evening. There was more than enough time in between flights."
Pros: "Arrived safely and almost on time despite late departure."
Cons: "Boarded plane in nonsensical manner. Had to try to walk opposite the flow of traffic to find room in overhead luggage compartment. Plane was too cold."
Cons: "The United mobile app as well as my emails stated that the gate was B3. Upon arriving at gate B3 and attempting to board, I was alerted that I was at the incorrect gate. The gate was switched to C11. However, my app did not alert me nore did it reflect the gate change. I didn't receive a text or email update. I had to run to the different concourse nearly missing the fling."

Pros: "The call center that i was forwarded to that did nothing to help at all or the agent who hung up on me while i was trying to get an explanation of why they keft me stranded in the airport."

Pros: "The crew that bothered to show up were fine, not overly friendly as they SHOULD have been due to the extreme delay."
Cons: "I checked in online and printed my ticket a few hours before my flight, so I was dropped off at the terminal where my gate was supposed to be. THEN after I get through security, I find out my gate has been changed to another terminal- one for international flights. I had to walk for 30 minutes with my heavy carry-on to find the correct gate. Then the flight was so incredibly delayed because a flight attendant decided to just not show up for work. So unprofessional! If the flight had been delayed because of uncontrollable conditions, then that would be another story, but come on! A flight attendant not showing up for work? That's pathetic."

Cons: "I purchased two tickets for premium economy. United issued us economy seats and required payment to upgrade to economy plus. In addition the flight was 5 hours late. Very unhappy with United and would not do this again. SAS was great. United did not honor our ticket for Premium economy purchased through SAS."
Pros: "Flight attendant was extraordinarily kind, especially for the couple sitting next to me with their adorable 7-week old baby."
Pros: "Didn't fly to San Diego-got rerouted to LAX instead. Had I continued to San Diego I would have landed almost 6 hours later than my previous arrival time all because of delays at the gate in Harriaburg. An original 30 minute delay from weather is understandable, and by the time the aircraft arrives you'd think they'd be ready to deplane and get it rolling quickly. Nope, not all. I think it was amateur day in Harriaburg because it was like no one knew what to do and nobody could make their minds up."

Cons: "Once we boarded the flight people started getting text messages that there was mechanical issues and there would be a half hour delay. Crew didn't even know. Then pilot said there would be an hour delay because they had to wait for a "deadhead" pilot. That should be unacceptable."

Pros: "The girls at boarding area watched Tucker while I had to go back to the security area to get bracelets that I had forgotten they treated him like a king"
Pros: "Another flight were maintenance became an issue to the point we needed a new plane. What I love about United is that it only took an hour (and not 3+ hours or a total cancellation) to find a new plane and bring it to the gate after they ran into problems. I also love the happiness and relaxed crew after a passenger started an argument and fight with another passenger. They handled it extremely well and made sure that every one else was comfortable."
Cons: "I don't like being delayed, but it happens..."
Cons: "Since plane was delayed I missed my connecting flight so I had to stay the night in the San Fran airport for over 7 hours. For another 1 hour flight. With no accommodations or even a food voucher was just told to find a nice corner."
Pros: "Flight not full so with empty seat beside me I had lots of room to sprawl!"
Cons: "I still think it's wrong for airlines to charge for food so I didn't buy any. Couldn't get United app to work so no in-flight entertainment except what I brought."
