Cons: "(1) Was about to miss flight because originally my flight booking was from Benazir International Airport Islamabad but t the time of flight I boarded from a different and new airport in Islamabad which had become operational in Islamabad in the last week of April 2018 . My flight was on 10th May 2018 from Islamabad to Doha to Chicago but neither my online booking site ( Kayak ) not Qatar Airways sent any notification that my Boarding was changed from Banzir International Airport to the newer, bigger airport. Consequently , on the day of flight, I went to check in and board from the Bnazir International Airport but upon reaching the airport I was told that the airport was no more in operation. I was surprised to hear that all flights were to be from the newer airport. By the time I rerouted my taxi to the new airport I was already late for my flight but fortunately the flight from Islamabad to Doha, Qatar was delayed and I made it to the boarding time and flew to Doha , Qatar and then to Chicago."

Cons: "On a 16 hour journey, we only had 2 meals and no snacks. I usually fly Lufthansa. They provide 2 meals and a third snack (usually a pizza) and keep additional snacks and drinks fully stocked in the back of the plane. None of that existed on this flight. The crew was very uninterested. Seemed very absent and not into assisting patrons. Overall, not what I have experienced on prior Qatar Airways flights. To add insult to injury, I was sitting next to an EXTREMELY smelly person, which didn't make the experience any easier :( Not the airlines responsibility to ensure patrons exercise proper hygiene, but that didn't help the situation with my hungry growling stomach."

Pros: "I am always glad to see a working USB port for charging mobile devices on these 12+ hour flights and was not disappointed here. The list of movies was long. Also positive was the tallest headrest I have experienced in coach."

Cons: "The flight departure from Dar was moved up an hour and the congestion at the airport made it close. Also I need a name tag on a checked piece of luggage. When I asked, I was told that none were available. The check in person was not pleasant or helpful. I also had to watch to make sure that the luggage labels were attached to be sure that they would make it to Chicago. Once on the plane there was an unrudy boy sitting in front of us jumping in his seat, never wearing his seat belt kicking the seat, turning on the light beating on the tray table, calling the flight attendant. The adult ignored the child through the flight. It was one of the worse experiences I have had on a plane. I would have to think very hard before I fly Qatar again."

Pros: "The flight was on time. The crew was very accommodating. The food is better than some other airlines. The entertainment provided had a lot of choices I had an 8 1/2 hour layover in Doha. They booked me a short stay in a hotel at no extra charge. This included a car and driver to and from the hotel. It was a nice hotel close to the airport."
Cons: "I was sitting in economy. I booked too late to get any type of upgrade for extra legroom. For Economy it was OK, but cramped and hard to get comfortable on a 13+ hour flight."

Cons: "I pre ordered Hindu meal. The meal selection by the airline was same from Karachi-Doha and Doha-Chicago. There was no choice of menu in the meal on such a long flight. Moreover taste of offered food was not satisfactory."

Pros: "First of all, I want to preface this by saying that virtually every airline is better than the major ones working in the US (American, United, and Delta), and Qatar Airways is amongst this number. The entertainment selection was excellent, the best of any flight I've ever been on. The flight attendants were excellent, again, much better than those on American carriers (I am American, FYI)."
Cons: "The food was terrible. Of course, we know this about airline food, BUT I have been on Qatar Airways flights with GOOD food in the past, so I know it can be better. Also, I sat in the baby section, which also happens to be where they put long-legged people. This is no one's fault, but suffice to say, do NOT sit next to 4 5-month olds for a 15-hr flight! Interestingly, since all flight attendants were women, about 50% of the flight did listen to them since there were many conservative Arabs onboard from Qatar or Saudi Arabia (i.e., those who are taught not to listen to or respect women). This made for some frustrating sites to witness but it's obviously not the airline's fault. Poor women!"

Initially charged $1000 for 3 tickets for modification of return trip - confirmed the same and tickets issued (i'm fine with this). But, after i made arrangements for new date, I got a call saying calculation error and asked to pay another $500 leaving me no choices. How can such a reputed airline have no tools to calculate the pay? Other airlines offered one-way for half of the price i paid. On top of it, online helpdek promised front line seat to satisfy me but nothing was offered even if i ask explicitly. Simply declined saying i am not in priority list. Why do they make false promises? Friends, Just don't fly in Qatar for food....."

The flight crew did not offer any kind of apology or explanation for the delay. Food and beverage service was delayed and the staff was forgetful of guests' requests. Upon our arrival in Doha, checked bags did not arrive until 2 hours after we landed! How does an airport receive a 5-star rating, but takes 2 hours to return baggage to its guests? Overall, a poor experience from Qatar Airways."

Cons: "The experience in the Frankfurt airport was terrible! We had arrived from Rome with an hour between landing and boarding. When we were directed to security at Gate Z, there was a huge mob of people, not really in lines. We didn’t know what we were waiting for or where to stand, but we and others around us were very worried about missing our next flight. There was no Lufthansa representative to help. Finally someone directed some of us to a long roundabout back way to Gate Z security. We did get to our gate in time for boarding, only because it had been delayed. Then we sat in the plane for over half an hour. Altogether, it took off more than an hour late, so we missed our flight from Chicago to Minneapolis."

Cons: "Flight was delayed in Frankfurt due to technical issues. That was fixed, but ended up missing the flight to Minneapolis. Lufthansa provided vouchers to hotel and shuttle to the hotel (holiday inn express) and back to the airport. We stood out in the cold for 45 mins but the shuttle did not show up. Ended up taking Uber to the hotel only to find out their shuttle service does not start in the morning before 5:30 am. They booked me on a 6 am flight with 5:45 boarding time. The hotel scheduled a taxi to pick me up at 3:30 am to make back to the airport on time. I ended up spending $70 and I’m totally exhausted. I wished I just stayed at the airport. Not to mention the quality of the hotel accommodations is less than average. Very disappointed with how this whole situation was managed."

I had to use the leg room of the passenger next to me to put my foot down."

Second serving of food was the worst I have been served on an airplane - a stale pizza. On a number of occasions I asked the hostess for a piece of bread and a glass of wine - she promised to be back and never was."

Cons: "It was awful. The staff was more concerned with flirting with guests than everyone else. The seats were absolutely terrible. Getting off the flight the flight attendant had her back turned to everyone but made sure that the guests in first class were greeted as they discarded the air craft. As soon as she left everyone else from economy off the plane she didn’t even say have a good day, rather she had a nasty look on her face. This will be the last time I fly Lufthansa."

I was stopped by the people in front of the plane putting away their luggage and standing in the aisle. Not enough room between the rows. Passenger in front of me most picture straight into my face"

Pros: "Munich airport on other hand. We got to the airport several hours in advanced. Everything from getting a boarding pass to checking and weighing in your own bag was electronically. Long lines and majority of the systems were not working. After trying several machines and being directed into 3 different lines I finally was able to check my bag in. I had to leave my other family members who were flying with me as they were in another line. At the machine to check my bag in , a airport worker ran up to my bag and slammed it onto the ground as well as ripped off my luggage tags. My bag was upright on the conveyer belt instead of on its side , but how rude the airport workers are, is rediculous. After I asked why she did that she just began ordering me around to move my bag after I got my bag through the machine I asked to speak to a manager as the airport worker was extremely rude and unprofessional. No one would give me the time of day and the same airport working out her hand in my face saying repeatedly goodbye in German. I've never experienced anything like this in my entire life. Trying to get through security a few travelers on a thin patience level started pushing people in line trying to by pass others it was so very chaotic workers had to go in between. Those travelers were complaining, because disabled travelers had a separate line that was faster. The worst airport experience I've ever had. Once on the plane everyone was pleasant. Crew was very helpful and always willing to assists"
Cons: "There was a child on the plane that was screaming and crying on and off for several hours. The parents didn't do anything to keep the child calm. Before we got to Chicago eveyone had to be seatbelt s before landing and the flight attendant asked eveyone to buckle up. The mother of the baby wouldn't listen and began yelling at flight crew. I think the flight crew did a great job, the passenger and child were very disruptive making the flight at times very uncomfortable. I wouldn't suggest infants or toddlers flying for such long trips. No one wants to listen to a child screaming at the top of their lungs."

Pros: "The big deal for me was that I was upgraded (at no cost) to Premium Economy class. I enjoyed the extra leg room and the ability to lie back (further than in regular economy class). The free drinks were also a plus."
Cons: "The only thing I can remark upon is that because someone in front of you can lie back so far, it becomes difficult for the person sitting in the window seat to leave his or her seat without disturbing the person in front of him or her."

After this we were given great service until half way through the flight when I was becoming quite thirsty and kept trying to signal the flight attendant based on my help button, but no one came, so I had to stop a flight attendant that was passing so I could ask for some water to drink. Overall, the flight was OK, even though I felt a little crammed in my seat and the need to fish for a flight attendant just to get water was a hassle."

Pros: "It was my daughter's 16th birthday and one of the spunky crew members helped us to create a little celebration. That was very memorable! Otherwise the flight was late (which was OK, the captain kindly kept us informed), but the plane was clean and quiet. The bathrooms on the lower level provided a space to stretch, but as always, they get pretty dirty on a long-haul flight. Price was quite good. I always feel the flights originating from Europe are nicer than those originating in the US."
Cons: "The food was stuck in the past, roll, white cheese, white cake with sugary fruit, somewhat wilted small salad and a pretty greasy chicken dish with polenta and by that point, stewed veggies. I am not accustomed to eating like that and was disappointed (though hungry!). Not a whole lot of room in my seat, I'm 5'6" and slim, but at least the seats recline and glide forward a bit and the head rest bends to catch your head IF you can nod off. I appreciate the civility that still exists under stressful circumstances."

Cons: "I feel that the there should be NO reclining of seats in the economy section. There is about 10-12 inches of space between my face and the seat back if the seat in front is not reclined. If it is reclined , this distance is reduced to 6-8 inches. Too, too close. And reclining does not add much to the comfort of the sitting position. When the person in front of me reclines, then I am almost forced to recline so I have enough room."

Cons: "I paid money to select our seats on our flights and did not get those seats on any of the four flights we were on. It was a complete scam. I asked a flight attendant and she told me lufthansa does not have the option to pay for seat selection. Every other aspect was good."

Cons: "I am disabled and we called the 24 hours in advance as requested to book seats with more leg room, accommodation for my autistic son's service dog, and special meals for my two children. None of these things were done as were booked even when presented with confirmation number provided by the central booking office. To top it off my daughter is allergic to peppers and her allergen free meal contained peppers."

Cons: "I paid for a reserved window seat so I could sleep. The passenger next to me was such a large man his arms and shoulder came way over into my seat space and I had to sit in an awkward and very uncomfortable position twisting my back for the entire flight. I cannot believe I paid extra to be in this position. My back still hurts from being in that position for 9 hours. I was miserable the entire way. And I paid extra for this discomfort. The big guy was plenty comfortable as he took up my seat space and slept well. Not happy at all with the flight and how Lufthansa crams people into seats."

Cons: "My chair did not recline at all, which make long fly very uncomfortable. When I complained to fly attendant, she said that there is nothing she can do about it. The table in front of the chair was also very hard to open."

Pros: "Smooth boarding. Excellent service and good food. New plane with bathrooms a few steps below the seating area made for a quieter flight with no lines in aisles. We paid extra for Economy seats with extra leg room and it was well worth it."

Pros: "The service was absolutely amazing! Even though I was sitting in economy, I was offered something to drink before take off and at least 5-10 times throughout the 9 hour flight. The food was really good for airplane food and it was a nice touch to have an actual plate and silverware. When you're traveling, those little touches make a big difference. The entertainment was wonderful - the screen on the back of the seat was really responsive and had a wide selection. I watched three movies and played several games."
Cons: "My only criticism was the boarding process seemed a bit disorganized. I guess I'm used to boarding by zones or numbers. This was just sort of a free for all. But if that's my only criticism, that says a lot about the flight!"

Pros: "We went to my brother's funeral. Due to the check-in agent, we were able to sit together which made our return flight more enjoyable. He also upgraded us to Economy Plus which we - of course - appreciated."

My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

We had to stay in Chicago for 12 hours on our own. Neither Etihad nor American Airlines provide any support for that time period in Chicago. Since it was Etihad ticket, According to international norm, Etihad should take the responsibility for this problem and compensated passengers."

On the return flight they fly to Abu Dhabi with no problem. Then, they try to board their connecting flight to Chicago, and they tell my kids they overbooked the flight and they can't travel for at lest 2 more days. If they had to remove someone from the plane, how in the hell do they choose a 14 and 15 year old traveling alone to stay in Abu Dhabi for 2 full days! I'm livid!"

Flight attendants on the flight were okay, not super helpful if you are traveling in economy"

My wife asked for mango juice, and they said, they do not have any left, they only had apple and orange juice. Within 10 min when they replenished the cart, they had mango juice. It seems that they were just plain lazy to do even to cater to the smallest request."

My first seat assignment had to be changed, because the man set to be sitting next to me began murmuring and cursing when he found out that I was to be next to him. My second seat assignment had me sitting in front of a man, who angrily refused to let me recline my seat at all, because it would crowd his leg space. Therefore I had to sit perfectly straight for all 13 hours of the flight. There were no other aisle seats for me to switch to. Most airlines offer eye shades and earplugs for the long haul flights. Not this one. Both were needed on this rather noise, chaotic flight. I guess you get what you pay for ... the cheap fare is not worth it. I don't intend to fly this airline again."

Pros: "There was more leg room than I'm used to and I got to watch Lego Batman"
Cons: "Seats were declined during take off and landing. Kids were running around everywhere, one even jumping into my leg, and one, get this, was running around as we were landing. At no point did anyone say "hey, be a parent and keep your kids in check." The staff seemed kind of lazy and annoyed Just generally a mess of inconsiderate people and the crew not doing their job."

Cons: "As I boarded the aircraft I snapped a photo of my seat. I was yelled at by the manager in front of at least 30 passengers, that it is not allowed to snap any photos on board. Clearly this is a made up rule as all social media accounts are blasted with peoples photos. As well- I work in aviation over 8 years and have never heard about this rule. The fact that he choice to stand on the other side of the aircraft and yell at me, instead of walking up to me and explain nicely was not acceptable. Later I’m the flight, I suggested to him that proper procedure is walking up to the person instead of yelling across, my just that he didn’t apologize, he even replied with a very nasty comment. And this was the flight manager. What I can say for sure, is: NEVER AGAIN FLYING ROYAL JORDANIAN!!!!"

Cons: "My daughter and I asked to move to have more room on the flt to change to a different row the flt was not full at all. The crew said they needed the last 2 rows for themselves which I understood until they pulled out all their bedding and lyed down to sleep each taking a full row. I have never seen this befor on my extensive travels. We were only offered fluids to drink 2 times with meals on a 12 hour flt from Jordan to Chicago. I thought this was poor service and not health for the passengers. My meal was the same both times with small amounts and poor quality. I noted it was much better on the way over along with the service. I assisted with a medical emergency on the flt being a emergency room nurse and I did feel the staff was great full I was able to help. I am sorry to say I will choose air France in the future."

Pros: "The head of crew Mr. Khatieb was very helpful when he learned that my mom has knee and back problem /surgery so he let my Mom sleep in the crew cabin last 2 hours of our flight on April 7th .2017"
Cons: "The check in crew in O'Hare airport (ladies) are bunch of liers .. RJ -Amman gave us 2 weeks ahead of flight oyr set seat K19 and H19 when we arrived 2.5 hr ahead of boarding they told me you have 2 saparet seats.. I told her that my Mom is sick and that I have already sets seat she told me I dont know this is what you have now then i asked for supervisor /another lier who told me that they have no seats and after waiting she gave us 2 seats by each other .. I told her my Mom had problem in her back n knee and I need 1st raw for her she said the dont have while when we boarded there was 1 empty seat in front of us whole flight ....they come from culture of friend and family comes first.. so they give and keep seats for their friend and family ...such a shame.. My Mom suffered from burning and nummbing the whole flight and arrived Amman sick .Will never choose RJ again ."

Pros: "really loved how happy and positive the flight attendants were"
Cons: "didnt like waiting for toilets"

Pros: "I loved the food - some of the best I've ever had in the air! There was a plentiful array of free movies and TV shows available for free. There was room to stretch out in the seats."
Cons: "I found the process of the layover in Amman to be confusing. Apparently, I could not get a free hotel for my layover. I tried to use the Crown Lounge as well but was told I could only use it (and pay to use it) during certain hours, which was confusing."
