As boarding began she had to redirect at least seventy-five percent of those in front of me as they were not in First Class. Had she made one or more clear announcements about boarding procedure I rather doubt such a misunderstanding would have occurred with so many."
Cons: "For the third Delta flight in a row (all First Class) the crew did not make any effort to keep economy class cuctomers form storing bags in the First Class overhead or using the only First Class laveratory during flight. This flight I was unable to utilize the laveratory even once due to this excessive and continuous useage. Trying to do my bit to reduce our carbon footprint, yet I am sorely tempted to return to charter service when disrespect of the airlines own basic service class rules gets piled on top of TSA hassles."

She told me that the ticket I purchased over a month in advance did not guarantee me a seat on the plane (???). She said that if I was bumped from the flight they would reschedule me for the next morning. She was pretty rude and made it seem like I had a 50/50 shot of getting on this plane. I rushed to the airport in hopes that I would be the first from Standby there, and the gate agent told me that I was fine and would board right after first class and be assigned a seat then. Great. Once I got my seat assignment, I board to find out there is someone else sitting in my seat...... They eventually called the desk and had her moved, but it was the weirdest boarding experience I've had.. and I've flown Spirit. These planes that Delta fly's are SO OLD. Both times I have flown Delta the "turbulence" has been so bad and cold air was blowing right on my the whole flight with no option to turn it off (it wasn't from one of the vents, but from the side). Someone close to me works for Delta and I know for a fact that some of their engines blow mid-flight.. and they tell the passengers that it's turbulence.. so that doesn't make me feel very safe. I won't fly Delta again if there is another comparable option."

Customs was extremely fast and efficient and everyone was friendly and did their jobs well. As far as the Panama airlines go, the food was okay, nothing special but not disgusting, and not all the flight attendants were unpleasant."
Cons: "The worst thing that happened was mean spirited security guards at the airport did a security check before allowing us to get to our gate. They forced us to dispose of a bottle of water that we had bought at that very airport. We were then quarantined into a waiting area with no seating and no access to other water, bathroom or food. Then on the plan we were offered beverages twice, so I was only able to get about six swallows of water from Panama to Chicago. Dehydration makes a plane ride a lot less healthy and comfortable. The staff was mostly unpleasant, the seats were really small and uncomfortable (more so than any other airplanes I've been aboard), and for some reasons they kept turning the main lights on and off, allowing us to sleep and then waking us all up for no good reason. Unbelievable."

Until 8 a.m. sullen and silent would be preferable to nice but noisy."

Cons: "Boarding was chaotic - after having first class and preferred passengers board, it was a free for all for all other passengers, which doesn't make a lot of sense and caused a long line. Due to a malfunctioning piece of equipment, the plane was about 90 degrees during boarding and while waiting for takeoff, which was pretty miserable. Temperature was fine after takeoff. The plane itself was very old, seats were cramped, and the screens for movies/tv (and selections themselves) were very poor, which is disappointing for an 8 hour flight. There were no power hookups either, which my Aer Lingus flight a few days beforehand offered. Finally, the passenger in front of me put his seat back while the plane was boarding, making it a struggle to get into my seat while boarding and to get out of it to let others in my aisle out from time to time for the restroom. Can't really blame the last one on the airline, but it added to the misery."

Pros: "Our original flight was delayed an hour, then 4 hours, then eventually cancelled. The last gate crew gave us no updates other than saying it was being delayed to a maintenance check. We eventually had to rebook our direct flight from ORD to CDG to then ORD to LHR and then to CDG. Because of this delay we missed most of our first day in Paris. The flight crew from LHR to CDG was very polite and friendly! I will be doing business with British Airways again in the near future. I will not be doing business with American Airlines anytime soon. Neither will my friends and family once they find out about my horrible experience with their lackluster customer service."

Pros: "I go good service in London with the assist. I liked my seat. All the crew were very helpful. Seat was okay and my travel companions were okay also. The flight was late on arrival in Chicago. But they had wheel chair assist and a nice girl Veronica that stayed with me until I got the shuttle to the Reniassance Hotel in Chicago. Great room and comfortable. Nice to have the dinner and breakfast coupons. I got assist to the airport in the van and help boarding my plane to El Paso. I give British Air ways an excellent star."

Cons: "Booked flight through British air for a reason. Didn’t anticipate American Airlines being used for our flights. The Flight was also delayed but it was never explained why despite dozens of questions from passengers. This caused a missed connection flight and forced us to stay overnight in Chicago with nothing but a $12 food voucher. When we tried t ask what other options were, American Airlines personal offered no sympathy and said the best we would get is the food vouchers and we should be grateful. No other travel reimbursement or vouchers were offered other than a replacement flight. Overall it was a huge inconvenience and caused numerous other expenditures for us."

Cons: "When I purchased my tickets, American decided it would be reasonable to separate my husband, our 1 year old daughter, and myself which I was notified of only when I asked the customer service agent over the phone prior to our flight. She explained that she was unable to do anything about it. I then called American during my trip and spoke with another agent who said it was out of her hands as well and to take it up with an agent at the desk at the airport. When I checked in online, I was able to change our seats myself which was nothing that either agent even suggested. The lack of ability of these agents on the phone to help two parents traveling internationally with a toddler was unbelievable. American has terrible customer service."

Cons: "I was told I would be able to choose the seats only 24 hours before the flight by going online. I tried to choose the seats online but could not have access to the site. I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

While I didn't let him listen to the program, he could still watch violent scenes I would not allow at home. There are plenty of family friendly good quality PG or G rated movies that appeal to everyone. Would it be too hard to get individual screens in 2017?"

People were fighting and yelling and it was an awful experience. We then had to go through SECURITY AGAIN to get to our transfer plane. Our plane was late, otherwise it would have been very tight schedule."

Cons: "Flight was delayed several times - blamed on Chicago ATC. The food offered was not suitable for First Class - there was chicken and vegetarian option. The FA was rather slow in serving and clearing trays. She was not interested in going around and asking for refills - when I inquired about it at dessert time, she didn't come back for 15 minutes and I had to ring the call button - she informed me they didn't have my drink of choice, so it was OK for her not to come back and tell me that. Service was terrible in First Class. American should seriously do something about that."

Cons: "The fact that people carry-on luggage that exceeds the max requirements for carry on luggage so they can avoid the checked luggage fee. It's a disgrace. It time to live by your rules, the same for everyone. I had to be rebooked out a different airport as PGV was flooded. I was seated in 21F which does not recline. AA cancelled my flight out of PGV, a better seat would have been nice since I had to drive an hour to EWN whereas I was staying only 10 mins from PGV."
Cons: "We could not check in online because we refused to pay for seats that I felt that already purchased or was entitled to one so I bought a ticket. When we got to the airport and checked in they did not put me and my traveling partner together meaning they didn't see them together not to mention. Our flight was delayed and we only have 4 minutes to get from gate a to gate. We got to the gate collected our boarding passes found out we were seated at the very very very back of the plane right next to the restrooms.........NICE"
