The ground crew was very good. They communicated clearly and continued updating. The flight crew was fine. The flight crew on the March 20th flight from MCI to Portland was excellent.

Everything ran like it should. Staff was professional. Looking forward to flying with them again.

Process of checking bag, boarding, etc. was all very quick, easy, and streamlined. Only problem I had was the seating: very cramped and uncomfortable, but I suppose that’s the perils of coach. Thankfully it wasn’t a super long flight so it didn’t ruin the experience overall.

Didn't buy food and did not use entertainment as these were not the purpose of my flight.

The customer service personnel were excellent. We had pre-ordered two meals but they could only provide one of them; they substituted the meal with a snack at no charge. Flight was on-time.

We had to take the train to our next gate but had time to eat a meal. When to our next gate and asked employee about gate and got informed that gate had been changed so back on train to next gate. So thankful she was there and informed us of gate change. Because of the issue the boarding was slow but employees were there and busy helping all and keeping it organized.

We had a little trouble with boarding as the gate was changed at last moment and we didn't realize it.

The flight crew were excellent but everything up to the flight was not. As we arrived extra early for our flight we had to wait 2 hrs to check our baggage, took 30 min to get through TSA, Alaska changed our departure gate four times, with one gate being at the end of concourse C then changed to concourse N which meant walk all the way back then down to the trams and a ride to N terminal then a walk to the end of this terminal. Once on the plane flight went well.

Through no fault of their own, we took off two hours late because someone on the plane arriving from Las Vegas had been sick and had declared he had the Norovirus. In addition, they were unable to locate a necessary new part for the co-captain's chair. As a result, they FINALLY got us a new plane to board, but, because if was a bigger plane, they had to redistribute us for gravity's sake. Next, they had to wait on paper work, which had to be completed by hand and then put into the computer. The best I can say--which I recognize is the most important thing--is that we arrived in Kansas City safely.

Command crew was excellent in handling dangerous flying conditions (weather).
