That same flight attendant was sitting in a first class seat scrolling through her phone again, she did look up to thank us though. Overall the plane was nice, but the I wasn’t disappointed with the flight attendants service"

For someone of my height (5’5”) that was problematic. Fortunately another passenger saw my dilemma and held the bin lower to its full opening capacity. This also momentarily slowed down the boarding process."

Cons: "My one piece of hard shell luggage has a special, difficult way of latching. As long as nobody opens it, it stays fine for shipping. The problem is your greedy Chinese luggage handling thieves who work for your airlines in Chinese airports. Whenever they can steal from luggage, they always try to steal from passengers, particularly American. I have had multiple experiences with theft from Chinese airports. I have been to China and back to the USA five times. Many times, items have disappeared from my suitcases in Chinese airports. That is why I decided not to move to China to live but instead move to Indonesia. However, if I fly any plane that transfers my luggage in China, I can usually expect to have my luggage robbed. Although this time, nothing was missing from my luggage, that fact that your people had to wrap my suitcase in plastic (because they did not know the secret for relatching it) and resend it a day later, that is proof that one of your airport personnel opened it to see what he could steal and then got caught because he could not close it again. I am really really really tired of you Chinese thieves. I blame all of you because you are all a product of Mao Tse Tung’s godless atheistic evil society. The Chinese have proven to me again and again that they cannot be trusted. A Kong Chinese official even stole my Ohio driver’s license when I transferred through that airport on a previous trip to Jakarta. I understand your problem. If you fire all dishonest luggage department workers, you will not have any workers remaining. That is why you will always rank as a third world backward primitive society even though you buy expensive airplanes that you don’t build and dress your people up like professionals which they aren’t. AS LONG AS Chinese airport luggage people are dishonest and cannot be trusted, your entire airline is a failure. That is not prejudice against Chinese people. I know some honest good ones. They are all Christians, the kind of good people the corrupt Chinese government hates. An atheistic country is an evil country. Do not expect to be respected by honest people. You people clearly do not deserve it. You are still in the stone age when it comes to professionalism which requires total honesty, a quality which your luggage handlers consider to be dispensable. I kindly asked the flight attendant if I can take empty seat across the aisle from me and was told no without a reason. I thought we were doing social distance ,but apparently not. As for there earlier claim of no 3 seats available next to each other .. it was obviously a lie because the seats just across from me where empty. I hope not to fly on American Airlines again."

Then once everyone was seated, the attendant wheeled them by and passengers had to call out when they saw their bag go by so that they could be issued the corresponding luggage claim ticket. The seat width and pitch was sad compared to 'low cost' airlines like JetBlue."

The attendants gave us little information on flight alternatives and when the flight was finally allowed to board again, they did not announce it and so had I not been waiting close by, I would have missed my flight. It was extremely disappointing but not shocking with all the scandals that have occurred this year with American Airlines. I do not recommend flying with them."

Cons: "The flight on the way west was awful. It left Albany almost two hours late making me miss my connection to LA. At Newark airport the next two flights were overbooked so United put me up in a hotell The next morning the first two flights were overbooked but they put me on the third flight. That was supposed to come into LAX a half hour early but a passenger became very ill so they landed in Des Moines for the medical emergency. I realize that wasn't United's fault, but I don't think it should have taken so long to take off, and we were well over an hour late upon arrival."

Cons: "The prior flight was delayed because after taxing, a crew wanted to remove an uncooperative passenger and went back to the gait. Subsequently, we arrived in Washington DC with only a few minutes before our next flight Albany was scheduled to leave. Because we had to do check our carry-on bags, we were 5 minutes later to the gait where the airline refused to wait for us to board although another passenger who did not have to wait for her bag was able to board the flight Albany. We therefore had to take a shuttle to Reagan international Airport, fly on a different airline to Hartford Connecticut, rent a car and drive 2 hours to finally reach our destination in Albany."

When other people including myself had other connections to get to and made me run through airports and I actually missed a flight and instead of taking one direct flight to Puerto Rico I had to take two more flights."
