The only problem we had was having to wait more than 30 minutes for our luggage. The pilot landed the plane so smoothly it was wonderful.

On time. Following Covid-19 guidelines. Nice to get a cup of coffee on those early flights. Enjoyed the staff.

The seats were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The A/C didn't work and the crew didn't care. There was no in-flight entertainment. It's a must-have for a direct Seattle to Dulles flight.

And for this particular trip the video boards weren't working.. This made it even harder to figure out what baggage claim to go to. And there were few announcements about it. By the time I heard an announcement most of the bags from the flight were being taking off the carousel by an airline rep. Putting the baggage claim on the app, I think, would have made it a better experience."

The flight was cancelled without any notification at the last minute, causing a scramble of insanity as they rebooked all of us on other carriers. We’re standing in line waiting to check bags, kiosks not working, attendants don’t have any information.

The plane was late to arrive at the gate and we were also told that while the pilot was ready to take off, we couldn't leave because we were waiting for a flight attendant to land from Pittsburgh (we were in La Guardia airport in NYC). delta would rather I convenience the flyer instead of hiring more personnel or figuring out standby or backup plans for delayed flights."

Compared to security staff overseas, the U.S. rates the lowest of the 55+ countries I've visited. It does not reflect badly on American Airlines, but it does give travelers a bad lasting impression. Cons: "AA has nine boarding groups, which queue up in two lanes. Each of the two lanes hold about 5 people, at most. This is ridiculous. It creates enormous crowds of people jockeying to be near the tiny lanes for when their number is called 5 or 10 minutes down the line. AA needs to reduce the number of boarding groups, lengthen the lanes, and provide more of them. No other airline boards this way. That's because this boarding method is stupid. Unsurprisingly, our plane took off late because they couldn't get everyone boarded in time."

Somehow European airlines manage not to freeze out all their passengers. It was less than a two hour flight but felt like an eternity because it was so uncomfortable. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people."

Cons: "Seeing as this flight was cancelled and we had to wait as two elderly people until 3pm the next day to get another flight and American Airlines would not compensate in anyway. I would say that we will never fly American Airlines again nor will my family. This was not the only delay or cancellation because of American either. We spent 48 hours traveling because of delays and cancellations and still American would do nothing for us. I'm 66 and my husband is 72 (who also has had back surgery for five slipped discs) and we had to sleep on concrete floors and had very limited money to buy food. It was by far the worst experience of my life and I would encourage everyone to not travel with them."

Blamed on sf construnction...why would you 's hedule a flight into an area that is under construction. Huge delays of all planes really made me wonder what the heck united is doing. No confidence!"

Cons: "Tiny cabin and seats. Aisle barely wide enough to walk through. Had to crouch down (I'm 6'4"), and barely fit into my seat (I'm not overweight. Cabin was frigid as well."

However when i scanned my boarding pass the lady indicated i was in an exit row. 11d was of course occupied. So i moved from seat to seat in the exit row (8) until i finally got the only empty seat which was presumably mine."

When I said to my friend as she was running toward the gate that we didn't hear the announcements. The gate agent told me I was the only one because all the other passengers did. I told him that wasn't true. He would not look at me and repeated to go down the jet way or I would miss the flight. Meanwhile more passengers were running for the gate. The message board message displayed "preboarding". I was sitting in the gate area for 40 minutes."

Cons: "We had confirmed reservations to go visit my daughter and son in law in Nashville. We had purchased tickets to see a concert in Nashville. We missed the concert and a full day of planned activities. We were bumped off the flight although we had confirmed reservations. So we decided to drive and incurred hotel charges. We will be driving back home and will incur hotel charges on the way home. We had to pay for gas and wear and tear on our car. This has been an awful experience."
Cons: "The day we were to return to San Francisco United cancelled our flight making us scramble to get another flight. Thank goodness for Alaska. They got us a return flight and went to Seattle instead of San Fransico. United and San Francisco is a joke. Never again."

Pros: "The associate at the desk confused my flight for the next flight. I was given the wrong information and I watched my plane depart from the gate. Upon realizing that employees of that gate had left, and we're not coming back, I had to ask passing personnel about my flight to find that it left already and that I had already been rebooked without being notified. I now had to fly from Houston to Chicago to Nashville. The new flight boarded almost 2 hours later than expected, and upon landing in Chicago, I had already missed my connecting flight to Nashville by 35 minutes apparently. Unacceptable."

Cons: "People took my seat, family in front of me had tv blaring the entire time and flight attendants did nothing, child next to me threw up on me since there were NO bags in the seats. Took 45 minutes to get luggage. Never again!! And no free wifi?? $7.99 is ridiculous when most other airlines give it for free."
Pros: "The Flight Attendant who was in the back of the place was awesome and very caring."
Cons: "Someone was sitting in my seats and instead of making him move they made us move and tried splitting up my wife and 6 month old child about 4 rows apart. The air started blowing very hot air about halfway through the flight. Everyone was sweating and it was better to just turn the air off completely then keep it on. They tried taking care of it which helped for 5 minutes and then it started blowing hot again. Also the WiFi would kick you off after about 30 seconds and then make you go through a login that takes like 60 seconds. Needless to say... this was the first time I haven't flown Southwest in years... and with the kind of experience it's no wonder why it won't happen again any time soon."

I was pushed out into the isle enough that the attendant rammed my knee with her cart. I was keeled over the isle armrest I develope shoulder and back pain."
