Total lack of customer service and concern"

Cons: "Had a connecting flight, both were with Lufthansa. There was an hour between the two flights. We went straight to security and immediately to the boarding gate but they had closed the gate and would not let us board, even though there was 15 minutes before the flight was due to leave. We were refused a refund and had to move flights to another airport 2 hours away and then had a 5 hour delay. We lost our car reservation as we would arrive too late to collect, we also couldn't check in to our hotel as planned as the hotel only allow check in until 11pm; we would have got there at 1am, so then had to book another hotel for the night. Airport staff at Lufthansa told us they could not help and told us to go away!"

Cons: "It was a bit warm on both flights from DTW to FRA and the return. I usually dress for flying assuming it will be chilly but it was the opposite, a bit warm. No individual air control either. the last meal served was a ham & cheese sandwich which tasted odd..I couldn't eat it, other meals were fine."

Cons: "My first flight was delayed by well-over an hour, having me arrive an hour late for my connecting flight home. There were no efforts to assist me in locating my connecting flight, to set up any accommodations while at the connecting flight's airport for the additional 4 hours of waiting time, no apologies for making me late for wedding rehearsals (I'm the officiant!). I had to actively seek out the ticket counter for another airline, through which my connecting flight was re-routed."

Cons: "Because of a family illness I had to reschedule my flight 2 weeks before. Because the flight was booked through a secondary company, rebooking the outgoing flight ended upp: a) costing me as much as the whole original return flight; b) was no longer a 1 stop flight as I also had to stop in Frankfurt plus the company would not allow me to choose directly, I sent them details and then they booked what they could find; and c) I lost both the outgoing flight ( which was charged) and the return flight ( which was not changed) premium seat bookings both of which I had to pay for a second time. If I had booked directly with the airline this would have cost a transfer fee and I would not have lost the premium seat bookings. This was therefore a great expense and inconvenience. I will no longer book flights indirectly when using kayak. In future I will search using google flights and then go straight to the airline sites to book. Very disappointed. I never had this problem when booking with kayak before"

Pros: "In some airlines, you experience a different standard from Europe to America, compared to standard from Africa. Luftansa did not compromise quality. The partner maintained the same. The booking from Kayak was excellent . The travel was seamless."

Cons: "My family took a flight earlier and my daughter complained about giving chicken to her although she was registered asian vegeterian. Same think happened to me as well. I was offered chicken even when i asked for asian vegeterian. When i asked to replace with vege option, the crew member replace with sea food, If this happens again, on my return flight, i am not going to let it go."
