Cons: "Had a connecting flight, both were with Lufthansa. There was an hour between the two flights. We went straight to security and immediately to the boarding gate but they had closed the gate and would not let us board, even though there was 15 minutes before the flight was due to leave. We were refused a refund and had to move flights to another airport 2 hours away and then had a 5 hour delay. We lost our car reservation as we would arrive too late to collect, we also couldn't check in to our hotel as planned as the hotel only allow check in until 11pm; we would have got there at 1am, so then had to book another hotel for the night. Airport staff at Lufthansa told us they could not help and told us to go away!"

Pros: "The crew was pleasant, bathrooms clean. Despite a late departure we arrived on time."
Cons: "It was a bit warm on both flights from DTW to FRA and the return. I usually dress for flying assuming it will be chilly but it was the opposite, a bit warm. No individual air control either. the last meal served was a ham & cheese sandwich which tasted odd..I couldn't eat it, other meals were fine."
Pros: "They put me on another flight"

Pros: "Nothing. Will never travel with airline in the future. Definitely will not recommend."
Cons: "Flights are delayed frequently which resulted in missing connection from Frankfurt to New York. On arrival, passengers are herded like animals from one point to the next with no explanation as to what resulted in the delay or given sufficient supplements for food etc."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Attitude of staff very poor at a request for a drink of water"
Pros: "My wife and I travel frequently and Lufthansa has always been a "notch above" all other airlines in onboard service. Imagine, airplane food that you can actually eat and enjoy!"

Cons: "Overall a very good service and no complaints but if In House entertainment was provided it would enhance the experience."
Pros: "Online check in worked well through app."
Cons: "If you leave something on the plane, don't expect for it to be handed in. My iPad disappeared on the flight. The woman at the boarding gate in Bham kept shouting at everyone, she was really rude, both flights were late taking off."

Pros: "Staff were polite Comfort ok Food was basic No entertainment."

Pros: "Crew was courteous and available. The aircraft was new and clean."
Cons: "Everything.UEverything.United is suck"
Cons: "My first flight was delayed by well-over an hour, having me arrive an hour late for my connecting flight home. There were no efforts to assist me in locating my connecting flight, to set up any accommodations while at the connecting flight's airport for the additional 4 hours of waiting time, no apologies for making me late for wedding rehearsals (I'm the officiant!). I had to actively seek out the ticket counter for another airline, through which my connecting flight was re-routed."
Pros: "Was no flight"
Pros: "Attendants were pleasant"
Cons: "We were delayed on the tarmac for an hour and a half"
Pros: "Ordered Asian vegetarian meal, which was excellent. They even hadMetal utensils, which I don't think I've seen since the 80s. Also had a Seat open next to me, which is unusual.Very orderly and comfortable flight, with a surprising amount of legroom."
Cons: "The automatic boarding system was slow"
Pros: "Lufthansa delivers always a great service. Good timing, schedule and service!"
Cons: "Nothing!"
Pros: "Awesome"
Pros: "It was a relatively short flight. Boarding went well and efficiently. Flight crew was attentive."
Pros: "Friendliness of the crew."
Cons: "It seemed like the seats were even smaller than usual... less legroom! Very tight fit and I'm pretty thin but 6'2'."
Pros: "Service and crew excellent"
Cons: "Boarding took too long as automated boarding was defective."
Cons: "Because of a family illness I had to reschedule my flight 2 weeks before. Because the flight was booked through a secondary company, rebooking the outgoing flight ended upp: a) costing me as much as the whole original return flight; b) was no longer a 1 stop flight as I also had to stop in Frankfurt plus the company would not allow me to choose directly, I sent them details and then they booked what they could find; and c) I lost both the outgoing flight ( which was charged) and the return flight ( which was not changed) premium seat bookings both of which I had to pay for a second time. If I had booked directly with the airline this would have cost a transfer fee and I would not have lost the premium seat bookings. This was therefore a great expense and inconvenience. I will no longer book flights indirectly when using kayak. In future I will search using google flights and then go straight to the airline sites to book. Very disappointed. I never had this problem when booking with kayak before"
Pros: "The boarding was fast and clean, but we still Left with a little delay. The flight itself was fast and we arrived a bit ahead of schedule."
Cons: "The advance we had gained in the flight was taken up by an apron position, slow ground service and a distant arrival gate."
Pros: "In some airlines, you experience a different standard from Europe to America, compared to standard from Africa. Luftansa did not compromise quality. The partner maintained the same. The booking from Kayak was excellent . The travel was seamless."
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "Everything except food"
Cons: "My family took a flight earlier and my daughter complained about giving chicken to her although she was registered asian vegeterian. Same think happened to me as well. I was offered chicken even when i asked for asian vegeterian. When i asked to replace with vege option, the crew member replace with sea food, If this happens again, on my return flight, i am not going to let it go."
