Cons: "My bags are lost and no one is helping me I'm very frustrated ."

Cons: "After getting to the airport with 3 plus hours to spare I still couldn't get a seat until 40 minutes before take off. On my first leg of the trip my boarding pass stated I was a "Stand By". That was incorrect I paid full economy fare. The twenty four hours before my trip instead of being filled with anticipation was more a management of anxiety. So everything leading up to the trip overshadowed the actual flight experience. We did fly Aer Linus, but that was booked through British Airways. Also screen to choose movies, TV programs need some new screens not easy to press and get a response."

Cons: "Size of main course food portion. For a tiny bird. Not to mention the size of snack before landing- such an unpleasant joke( food hiden in such a big box, but once you opened there was a tiny muffin with a sip of orange juice) Cmon guys you can give it more. A simple sandwich with cup of tea/coffee would be a much better and sophisticated option. Comparing to competition you are behind."

Cons: "Since I booked with vayama, through kayak, aerlingus wouldn't give me more than basic flight info. I didn't even know if my seats were confirmed, which they weren't on the connecting flight with JetBlue airlines. The website said to contact vayama, vayam said contact the airline. Our bags were not checked through to our destination so we had to collect them in New York. They are supposedly partner airlines but told us we had no choice and had to wait till aerlingus opened customer service. We were stuck for 7 hours outside of security with our bags and 1 Duncan donuts kiosk. The 12 hr overall layover was bad enough without that. I understand that booking through discount sites comes with its own cost, but you should know if you have assigned seats and that your baggage will make it."

Cons: "Was supposed to depart at 850 pm on 15 Nov from Orlando Boarded plane on time then sat on aircraft for 2 hrs due to machanical issues. Was the deboarded and spent 2 hrs wanted for a hotel voucher. Asked to be placed on a different flight due to active duty military status and was given no help. Was not offered to fly on a different airline.. was instead asked if i had looked into getting another flight which if i am correct should be something they should have doing to ensure that i would return to duty on time.. Mind you i was flying with a small child and bussiness class was more important than women with small children or families period. When i was able to catch the flight the following day i didnt not recieve notification that this flight was delayed as well. To top it off this was a red eye flight and they kept the lights on in the cabin and many people were unable to sleep. Due to the flight being delayed i and my small child had to run across dublin international to catch or connecting flight. We made it however our luggage did not. I will not be using this airline again. I would rather spend a little extra money."

On the rescheduled flight we were forced to relinquish priority seats. This was the worst airline experience I have ever been a part of. We sat on the tarmac for 5 hours before the flight was canceled and no other options were left. Our second flight to replace that was rescheduled at a different time without notifying us. No service, no offer to recuperate lost time and money, no compensation offered. Flat out terrible service."

Then at check in we weren't given the seats we chose when we booked the flight, actually we weren't given seats at all until the flight was boarding. And although half the flight had not been assigned seats the boarding agent had an attitude that I wanted to get my seat assigned. The airplane was circa 1992, there was a box tv in the aisle every few rows. We flew NY to San Juan PR in July and had personal entertainment on a 3-hour flight, but not ona 6-hour trans-Atlantic. Then there was a problem with the fuel tanks and apparently it was right in the middle of shift change, so one shift went home and the captain didn't know what was going on. "I'm embarrased" he said and we sat on the ground for almost 2 hours. The crew were great, the dinner was fine but yogurt and a weird muffin top is not ok. The best part of the whole flight was a free jack & ginger ale. Based on this experience alone I wouldn't fly with Finnair again. Our trip was for a wedding and most everyone else flew Air Lingus and had a flawless experience, poor choice on our part!"

When they finally fixed it I was excited to watch a movie like everyone else around me. However, my headphone jack in the armrest did not work properly. I thought it might have been my headphones but I tried two different pairs including the pair provided by the airline. I was only able to hear scratchy background noise but no words. This meant I had to go the entire flight with no movie or music. That was highly disappointing. I told the flight attendant about it and she reset my screen thinking that might be the problem but it did not help at all."

Pros: "It started with a unclear check-in process, proceeded with a multi-hour delayed flight with several reasons given for each return back to gate. Ended with us getting off the plane 4 hours after we were originally due to take off, a further hour delay before they said we could board again but then midway through that boarding we were told the flight was cancelled and no hotels were available and we'd need to return to check-in area to find out next steps. All this with our exhausted 4-year olds. Ended with us leaving the airport at 3 am. I truly never wish to fly American Airlines again."

I bought tickets on Kayak through Justfly.com for a Finnair flight and added an American Airlines (affiliate) frequent flyer number.and reserved my seats early.as I usually do and everything was confirmed by Justfly.com. No problems, right? I did not receive a check in notification. I used the Finnair trip number on my email but it said there was no flight found. I could not initially get hold of Just fly.com. when I did, they said I had to check in through American Airlines. That didn't work initially either. After getting a new trip number I was able to check in but our seats were changed and it was a red eye. When trying to get seats I noticed there are very few seats left. The seats I had selected were now open and would coat another $120 plus. I couldn't even get those. We wound up with some exit seats which seemed fine until my wife couldn't recline her seat. It was uncomfortable for both of us because she had to use my legs to prop hers onto. Im still on vacation so I haven't contacted American for a refund yet."

We then missed our plane because finair informes us after waiting online we needed to go to another terminal to check bags at american airline. That was not initially told to us and now we are spending over $1000 so we can fly tomorrow plus hotel room. It also affected a business trip to vegas which i needed to cancel. My experience was terrible with finair and american airlines with terrible customer support at the airport. Amazing how we need to pay another 1000 for terrible communication."

Cons: "Perhaps it was my own fault, but I kept getting errors trying to check in online at the Finnair website. I was there because up until I tried to check in at JFK, I was 100% sure I booked a Finnair flight, because that's what Kayak told me. I was pretty pissed off when I found out that SURPRISE I was really flying on American Airlines, pretty much the most boring airline on the planet. When I checked in, I was still unable to get a seat assignment, not until I got to the gate where I had to wait 20 minutes for an agent to show up and sort things out. They finally put me in an emergency exit row, in an extremely uncomfortable non-recline seat (I know, regulations). The flight was also an hour late taking off (I know, not AA's fault), which did not help the experience. Will be more careful next time booking on Kayak."

Irish immigration took 45 minutes... a ridiculous amount of time in this day and age. My time with the officer took about 30 seconds, so obviously the problem is that they are understaffed...not the best way to start your trip to Ireland after a long flight!"

Cons: "The premium seating we paid extra for because we need leg room (my partner and I are 6'+) was the first row behind the 1st class seperation wall...so no way to extend legs by placing feet under the seat in front. Not very comfortable or worth $100 IMO."

Cons: "We were traveling from 11 pm local time to 10:30 am local. However they kept all the lights on for nearly the whole flight. In addition, the crew was constantly going up and down the aisle with food or beverages. It made sleep impossible. To make matters worse I’m allergic to dairy and I tried to prebook an appropriate meal but couldn’t and everything had cheese."

In all honesty I'm not a fussy traveller and never write reviews but Air Canada was so bad I thought it might be useful info for someone."

Pros: "The plain was not full and my section at the back was quite empty so I had seats to my self and was able to lay down. The plane had been recently refurbished and everything was clean and new."

"We're still missing passengers" " If you are in section 3 you need to come to the gate right away" he made the second call when there was one person infront of me in the line. Like everyone was in line we just hadn't been processed yet. I don't know why we need to be rushed onto the plane by impatient staff. My entertainment device stopped working in the middle of a movie and didn't work for the rest of the flight."

Cons: "Boarding could be better organized - staff should make sur only the people in the zones called are in line. Not everyone from all zones. The zones 3-5 line isn't helpful. They should change it to "boarding" and indicate only thsoe called to board should be there. Otherwise, they need separate lines for EACH Zone."

Pros: "Not much of anything"
Cons: "Lack of in-flight entertainment, uncomfortable seating"

Pros: "Pretty much nothing, this goddamn company has so little to compensate for the great inconvenience they provide in mismanaging our flights."
Cons: "I was delayed significantly for both flights on my round-trip and all Air Canada can offer is 15% off my next flight with them. What an embarrassment this company is to be the official airline of Canada. They should change their name to Air Rouge and allow some other company earn Canada in the name. What absolute trash honestly, if you like delays because the plane has a technical problem and they can't even sort out a back up plane within 6 hours, at their headquarters with all these hangers and planes at their disposal, then at least you'll get 15% off your next delayed flight with them."

Cons: "1. Too cold 2. Patron behind me was tall and his knees repeatedly pushed into my back through a paper thin seat back 3. Waited 45 minutes on tarmac AFTER landing to deplane"

Pros: "Great great great staff on the flight. Fast direct service ... Landing in T1 Dublin really speeds things . Checkin in good until.... See below"
Cons: "Plane was late leaving. Food was served around 2-2:30 am. Realize this budget but still 750$... Movies - player kept stalling Check in ... Crazy on bag drop at check in #5 lane in departures in Toronto. Perhaps one more staff at high volume to make sure the folk in the bag drop line actually have bag tags. Travel to same route last year at this time and it was the same experience."

Cons: "Was surprised not to have screens in the seats to watch movies on an international flight."

Pros: "It is convenient to take Air Canada from our town and connct in Toronto."
Cons: "The staff are barely polite and do not really care about the passengers. No smiles, Not friendly or welcoming. We trwveled in US last month.. What a difference in attitude. The food was awful, bordering in inedible. (example salad was cold canned corn with shreds of cabbage and no dressing.) Breqkfast was a piece of bread with choice of orange or tomato juice. No tea or coffee. They lost one of our bags, no apology and another company handled the search and return. No reason given to leave it behind. baggage and carry on rules are complex and complicated, and you never know when they will decide to enforce them and penalize you. If you can get there any other way don't go Air Canada."

Pros: "I arrived safely with my children"

Pros: "Flight attendants were rude had to check my carry on since there was no room overhead cabin. This happens frequently with Air Canada"

Pros: "Everything went well"

Pros: "There was an excellent agent during boarding. I didn't catch his name but he was a tall dark skin gentlemen and he went over and beyond to assit me. His kindness left a lasting impression on me. I only wish I had his name, because he deserves to be noticed for his excellent service."

Pros: "The crew was so good and friendly. I had an overnight flight and so having a considerate crew is so important. The comfortability was decent for being a plane and long distance."
Cons: "It was a 6.5 hour flight and there was no entertainment. Every additional amenty cost extra."

Pros: "The crew was friendly and polite."
Cons: "You really need to make those seats somewhat more comfortable. I'm an average sized person I think, 5'6" and 150 lbs, but I found the seats very hard and generally small. Also, please stop serving those hot pockets as a snack and please top charging for potato chips!"

Pros: "The crew was particularly friendly and courteous. The overnight flights are always a bit on the "less-than-comfy" side, but not because of the plane, but because it is Coach seating (where I was.) But, again, as comfortable as it could have been."
Cons: "Nothing at all that I did not like."

Pros: "Food was ok"
Cons: "Avoidable delays caused a late departure from Toronto, then we sat on tarmac waiting for a gate in Dublin. Eventually had to debark into the tarmac and walk in. Delays caused us to miss our next flight to Munich."

Cons: "I almost missed my connecting flight due to AC delaying departure in Vancouver. I received no solid information from the stewardess on the flight on whether the connecting plane in Toronto would wait. I mean, really. There was never any explanation as to why the Vancouver flight was late either."

Pros: "I liked the streaming entertainment I enjoyed the friendliness of the crew I was pleased with the Canada air app allowing check-in and tracking of flight"
Cons: "The comfortability of the flight was poor. Both my wife and I were too uncomfortable to be able to sleep on out more than 9 hour flight. Leg room bad, seats uncomfortable."

Pros: "I liked that the flight was not completely full. we had a hard touchdown"
Cons: "1. These days, I have come to expect a complimentary in-flight entertainment system on international flights. This flight had nothing whatsoever. This is ok, but the customer should be warned when making the flight reservation so they can choose whether to bring an ipad along. 2. Food and service were not as good as a recent Air Canada return trip from Roma to Vancouver which had a first rate crew, food, and complimentary beer. 3. The plane was much older than the recent return trip I had and the air was much more dry."

Pros: "The only thing I liked about my flight to Dublin was the fact that we arrived in the correct city."
Cons: "Once again I found the air Canada staff unaccommodating, un-attentive and basically indifferent to the aircraft's guest. In addition I tried 4 electrical outlets on the aircraft before finding one that worked and the reading lights never did work. I would never recommend this airline."

Pros: "Safe and efficient."
Cons: "Poor seat room. Food quality mediocre."

Cons: "The fact there was no entertainment system available for a 6hr international flight is a crime. Apparently there is some sort of app you need to download on a mobile device or computer BEFORE the flight, Would have made a huge difference knowing that."

Cons: "There were no screens to watch anything on for a flight across the Atlantic. And we were told once we boarded that we needed to download the aircanada app in order to get content. Well by that time I didn't have free wifi and couldn't download the app. Very frustrating. I would suggest announcing this before people board the flight."

Pros: "Got to spread out onto two seats since flight was not crowded."
Cons: "Food options. No inflight seat with entertainment screen."

Pros: "The crew was very nice and friendly and the flight was smooth and short."
Cons: "During boarding, there were too many passengers for seats, so one woman had to leave the plane. Also, 8 people (on this very small flight of maybe 16-18 total passengers) did not get their luggage, including me. They said it would likely be several days before I could get my bag back, which is unfortunate because it contains most of my clothes, my glasses, and all of my toiletries, so I'm going to have to go buy some new ones while I wait for my bag to come home."

Cons: "I am 5' tall and there was no leg room for me."

Pros: "Great flight crew, fairly comfortable seats. Made a 10-hour flight pretty bearable."

Cons: "Air Canada changed my seat assignment at the gate. I had chosen a window-seat, but they switched me to a center seat. Also, there is no free in-flight entertainment if you don't have your own tablet/smartphone (neither of which I have). You can rent i-pads. I wish I had known that before flying."

Cons: "Kayak was a nightmare to work with."

Cons: "The fight itself was fine. Not great. Not terrible. But the airline lost my son's suitcase and has been entirely unhelpful ever since then. Now we have been stuck in a foreign country without clothes and toiletries for 36 hours and Air Canada's "helpline" has been anything but helpful. They can not find any information on the location of the suitcase and hope that they will find it in another 48 hours. Rediculous!! I will never fly them again and suggest that you save your money, effort and vacation by flying with another airline."

Pros: "The flight crew were nice and friendly, though they weren't very on top of trash pickup, but they were chipper and that's always better than grumpy crew that are super-efficient. Also, our luggage made it with us despite a tight connection."
Cons: "53 minute hold time to call center (before my call was even answered) to order vegetarian meals for flight (the day before flight) -wish that could be done online, vegetarian meal request not transferred to new flight after we missed our initial flight due to first flight delay, lights not working properly for half of flight (sleeping child under spotlight), the pasta dish, collecting garbage in my seat throughout flight (particularly after meal service), cramped seating, lack of entertainment, and they are now charging for alcoholic beverages on international flights. I'm not a big drinker, but I still enjoyed that perk."

Cons: "Had to use your own electronic device. Did not know that you had too download an app prior to boarding. No personal control over cooling/heating. Never fly Air Canada Rouge in the future"

Pros: "Toronto is a lovely airport, and it's a short hop to Europe from there, which is why Air Canada Rouge is ok for the trip. It's important to remember that their no frills approach means no TVs. Sleep or plan accordingly."

Pros: "Again the crew was enjoyable and the timliness of the flight and the boarding process was great. Also I appreciated the blanket and pillow given for the flight"
Cons: "There was no entertainment for this 6.5 hour flight, I was very disappointed with that."

Cons: "Where do I start. Plane was very late taking off but the biggest thing was that I paid extra for a premium seat and I think it was worse then any regular seat. Waste of money!! Now the food. It sucked and there wasn't much of it. Dinner was at best skimpy and " breakfast" was a piece of some kind of cake. That was it!"

Pros: "Smooth boarding, friendly crew, pillow and blanket both serviceable. Food was a little better than I expected for economy."
Cons: "Baggage handling ripped handle clean off new suitcase, both ends. Delays in departures from Dublin led to us using stairs off of plane on tarmac. Entertainment mostly dependent on app you can't download on plane if you're using wi-fi."

Pros: "Air staff were somewhat pleasant."
Cons: "Plane (767-300) is so old you have to use their app on your own device to watch movies. Plane is so long it takes forever for even simple beverage service to get to you, blocking aisles for hours while various carts are dragged about. Servings were mean, you could only get the can of soda if you begged, refills were also slim, and ice was a cube, maybe two. At one point I was so dry I had to page air staff to ask for more water (and I Never do that!). Food was mediocre at best. Landing, plane shook so hard I thought it would come apart! Planes like this need to be retired FAST. Last time I will fly this equipment. I'm literally going to pay all those ridiculous fees to change my return flight. Hated this exhausting, inconvenient, unpleasant and entirely too expensive experience. Don't fly Air Canada overseas!!"
