The front desk asked me to try other ways when I arrived LA to see what can be done. When I entered into the gate, your CS changed my flight to UA after I have presented my case. However, I had to pull the suitcase out from Alaska, paid another $25 to United and started the trip all over again. All the while, your crews expected me (an alien from Asia) that I should have known every thing get it through, or to claim my suitcase charges. I am really disappointed for the lack of understanding. To you, it may be something happened so common everyday. To me, I was totally lost to handle this."

We boarded an hour late, and staff would not answer any of our questions about what was going on or how late we would arrive (they sped up the fight so that we landed on time). Flight ran out of drinking WATER after the first service. Half of our section (Economy Plus) was skipped for snacks. An unruly child was allowed to scream for almost the entire flight & was running up & down the aisles. NOTHING was said to the parents by staff members. Was absolutely the worst behaving child with who I've had to fly."

I do whatever I can to fly on Australian rather than American airlines, as they are always much better in every regard. But in this case it wasn't feasible, and I found myself on a Delta flight. I'd say the overall experience was somewhere between okay-good. Nothing major to complain about, but nothing to rave about either. The entertainment options were decent. I appreciated the variety of newly released movies. However, I would have liked a greater selection of TV shows, and the availability of more episodes. I also appreciated the availability of internet access, but I don't understand why it has to be quite *so* pricey. Surely they could make a bit more on greater volume if they dropped the price a bit. I didn't purchase access, but I would have if it were 40-50% cheaper. The comfort of the plane seemed the same as any of the alternatives. Boarding and deplaning were as they should be."

Virgin Australia and Qantas consistently have much happier crews, who make you feel like a dignified guest, even in economy. The food was average at best, and they served two meals where the Australian airlines would serve three on the same flight. They also offered less in the way of snacks and drink refills. It seemed like they were cutting corners here, which I don't appreciate on a 15 hour flight. Also, they said they "proudly serve Starbucks coffee". After drinking it, I don't think they should be proud of that! Again, overall it was a decent experience. Nothing flashy, but nothing too bad either. If the costs are comparable for your flight, you should certainly choose one of the Australian carriers. You'll get better service from the crew and better food. The one caveat, however, is that Delta has WiFi, whereas at the date of writing this, the Australian carriers do not. While access is exorbitant, if you really need to get some work done on the plane, you might choose Delta for this reason alone."

Or at least done something to act like they cared. I am disappointed by the lack of initiative. I understand flights cannot wait, and I would have greatly appreciated being saved the trouble of running to a different terminal and instead taking that time to change my travel plans. They may see travelers struggling like this daily, but to each traveler, a hiccup in travel plans trip is stressful and urgent. I ask Delta staff to please consider that when they come to work. Thank you."

This does not seem very considerate of our health during a Pandemic especially with their messaging about social distancing. They also did a very poor job of keeping people patient in the deplaning process. They should have better messaging and a very non threatening way of encouraging passengers to be patient and courteous. Maybe they good offer each passenger a choice some type of goodie like a mint or a chocolate that says "please enjoy this while you wait for others to exit the plane"."

After 30 minutes they saw that my seat assignment had been changed and that is why my boarding passes that I had printed at home did not match what their computer showed. I booked this reservation in May and had a seat chosen fairly toward the front. I am 73 years old and the closer to the front I can be helps. When I finally got on the plane to my surprise my seat was the very last seat on the plane across from the restroom. People continued to leave the door open after using the restroom so had to get up and continue to close the door or look at the restroom the whole flight. There was never any explanation as to why they did this. As a result, being lst off the plane, I almost missed my connection as I had to go two terminals over for my connection. At my age I cannot run so I arrived as the last people were getting on the plane. I will never fly American Airlines again."

We got stuck on the terminal in MSP and missed our connecting flight. When we finally arrived the systems were down and could not get new flights or hotels. We were told we could not get hotels and had to argue for an hour. Even though it was a maintenance issue. I arrived a day late and had to take extra leave. The plane from LAX to Tokyo was horrific. I booked a window seat, was stuck in the very middle. There was no way to charge outlets devices. The screen did not work. And my new luggage was also damaged with even more items destroyed."

Cons: "i had my boarding pass and chose my seat some time ago, in row 4. When I checked in, the AA representative switched my boarding card and I was told that my seat was no longer available. When I got to the gate, I spoke to the gate attendant. There were several people also speaking to them about their seats. I did not have a seat assigned to my boarding pass, so I stood until the entire plane boarded and the gate attendants could sort things out. In the end, I was given a seat at the back of the plane, even though booked my seat some time ago and am a Sapphire member. When I boarded, there was no room for my carry-on luggage. The flight attendant already understood what happened. She immediately took my bag, and found a space at the front of the airplane. This is the second disappointing flight in a row in 2 weeks I have had with AA. I'm not sure if it's just bad luck, or has something to do with the company. I had flown with U.S. Airways for years and never experienced any major issues."

Yet at every stage the flight crew and gate staff did an outstanding job communicating and seeking to alleviate passenger woes. With delays, we missed connections, and yet AA worked wonderfully to find alternatives. At the end of the day, we arrived at our destination, and even our luggage made the trip successfully! Wonderful courtesy, adaptability, and determination to serve. Thank you."

Secondly, no snacks were offered on the outbound flight, because "the ground crew forgot to supply the plane". This didn't bother me, but it did infuriate some of the other passengers. Finally, I paid for the GoGo inflight internet, but the download speed was sooooo slow, I finally gave up."

That indeed may be the airline's bad policy, but she also thought her way of expressing it was appropriate, which it is not. That has to come straight from the top. Also, what kinda janky airline doesn't serve complementary water. Probably the biggest deal though was that my flight was delayed for 2 hours both ways due to a maintenance issue. I know air travel is fairly safe, but given the track record of both Allegiant and Airbus, I was a little worried during the flights. Even though this particular route is convenient for me, I'm going to avoid Allegiant."

And i mean SURROUNDED. That cabin is SO tight! So tight in fact the seats are a blow mold plastic with roughly 1.5" of foam and fabric. Think go-cart bucket seat with some foam rubber and pleather. Then there's luggage... My carry on bag (that I've used for 15yrs) was too big for the jig at the counter so got to check it for an additional $10 (above the $30 i had to pay to bring it) and they charged me $40 for my original check bag. The hitch is that they only allow 40lbs ($1/lb) for that check bag when the rest of the industry says 50lbs is the norm. Oops, gotta pay for that too! And wait for it... sodas are $2 in flight!"

You then inquire at the check-in desk can my loved one and I sit together, and they say sure but you will have to do that at the gate. Ok some positive news here...but then it sinks in.. wait a minute what Airline are we flying again? ...Allegiant Airlines, and what is their motto?? If it is simple and easy it shall become both costly and wildly inefficient. You arrive at the gate with hope in your heart and they then tell you, umm no. Who ever told you that is a fool! You can make no changes to your seating this is a 40,000lb aircraft with a 300,000lb lift capacity and it can't handle you sitting next to your girlfriend it would compromise the avionics and we would all surely die. Then why on the app did it show open seats? Seats of course for a price! Not by section like a normal airline ohhh noo a price that was completely different for every single seat as if the seats were in competition with each other in some high altitude economy that makes far less sense at sea level.The helpful response to this inquiry was 'oh well that was then' I am looking at it right now. I don't know what to tell you.. What's next?! A surprise $50 charge per carry-on! Unless you read the small print on one of their emails that is filled with advertisements they make it look like another advertisement, I'm going to go out on a limb and say INTENTIONALLY as it is never mentioned on: (The check-in email, the purchase confirmation email, not mentioned by the ticket counter, not anywhere on the app, not written anywhere on the electronic ticket despite them announcing otherwise) They instead tell you right as you are boarding the plane and have absolutely no choice in the matter and have done this innumerable amount of times as the flight attendant was well versed in de-escalation protocol and a security guard was positioned an arms length away as she deftly charges your card on file... I have run out of characters for this post I can only assume this comment section is run by Allegiant Airlines.."

Customer service agent sent those who were going to have problems with their connecting flights to the United Airlines service desk, of which, there were no customer service agents at any of the four available stations. I waited 10 minutes for an agent & no one arrived. When I went back to the original line I was standing in, I was forced to go to the back of the line rather than the place I was originally standing. Therefore I waited in line an additional 20-30 minutes. Once I was served they did not have any more seats available on direct flights to Melbourne. They wanted me to fly to NY, then Sydney & then Melbourne. Additionally the customer service agent did not seem confident this flight was not going to have any hiccups. Worst of all, I had been planning this trip for months & it was ruined by United Airlines."

He left it inside of the pocket holder of the seat on the plain where the magazine are. He called and was told nothing was there. On our way back home, the flight was delayed 3 1/2 hours behinds. At no moment did the co pilot excused himself nor did he apologized for the the delay. We deserved at least a free meal or some kind of compensation. Instead, the pilot and flight attendants just told us to rich it because we had to leave to L.A! We (8) family members came and this includes an elderly person (my mother who has been fighting cancer for about 2 years, along with diabetes) came to see her grandaughter get married. Now they were rushing her as well? Uncalled for. Now my other brother and his family which was a party of 10 on another flight, also flew to Hawaii. Now that alone tells you how much money was spent. The stay in Hawaii was amazing! We would visit again but the way we were treated on this airline, I don't think we would fly again and choose this airline. To be honest, not even recommend it. I'm ashamed to let others know such as friends and co workers know of this airline's service. To top it off one flight attendant was very rude! She saw us when she handed the other passengers pretzels and skipped my mother, my sister and I. I asked her nicely if we may have some and told her she had skipped us. She said, "I did?" Came back with 6 bags of thenm and was like, "Here!" Like shoving them to me. I felt humiliated! I didn't say anything because I didn't want to embarrass her. But it was extremely rude!!! I read some reviews and I guess it's normal on your end to be the way you treat your customers. We even asked before abording from Hawaii to L.A, what can you do to make up for all this and we were told, "nothing could". So ashamed."

Cons: "All of the screens on the side of the cabin I sat in did not work so even if we chose to pay the ridiculous fees for content it wasn't an option. Charging $16 for internet is gouging to the extreme. Truthfully, I would choose to pay a little more for my ticket if I knew that United did not cram people in like sardines, provided good quality free internet, provided free video content (on consoles that worked), and provided a small snack (better than a little wafer)."

I should have pay for an exstra suitcase 60 dollars so i gave the receptionist my credit card. Yesterday I got my credit details i saw an extra charge of 400 hundred dollars !!!
