The seats don't recline. Everything is an upsell on Spirit including checking in ($18!). It wouldn't surprise me if they put bill acceptor at the bathroom door to pay $3 a flush.
If you are over 5 feet 10" this will be the most uncomfortable plane ride of your life so beware the cheap flight price.
WOW! Super impressed with the staff. I hadn't flown spirit in years because I had such bad memories about the spirit credit card (false promises) and bad experiences with the staff. But EVERY spirit person was great. From check in, to the flight attendants, to pilots, to people at the boarding gate… really great team now in 2016
Those seats NEED to recline. You have to fix this on your planes. I couldn't sleep I was so uncomfortable and I can usually always sleep…. Pleaseeee recline those joints
I didn't like the way our carry-on luggage were handled. We were asked to keep our backpacks at our feet, and leave the space in our overhead bin for "bigger items" of other passengers.
We weren't provided any food except some snacks and soda.
We had to pay for our entertainment.
First class seats worn thin and uncomfortable.
I've been flying AA quite a bit lately and thought I'd give Delta another try. Too bad, it's clearly not up to today's standards
The nickle-diming of the fares, the long winded check in process, the most uncomfortable seats that I have EVER had the displeasure of occupying, the absence of tray tables or seat pockets and the fact that you had to pay for any beverage or cheap snacks. Not to mention the 2-1/2 hour delay with no explanation. I will never fly them again and will make sure everyone that I know will hear of my experiance along with all of my social media. I could have flown Delta cheaper in the long run and in the future will book with more reliable,up-front airlines!!
the facts that you have to pay for an assigned seat, that you have to pay $55 for a CARRY ON, that you have to pay for any drinks or food.
The fact that I had to change terminal, to go through security again to connect to my flight ....thank God, it was delayed because I would have miss it.
No free water!? Really! No reclining seats! Extra $100 for 2 people's luggage and having to pay $3 for water. Children screaming the whole flight, old people farting and loud mouth people talking the whole time of the flight. Horrible.
The pilot was EXCEPTIONAL!!! One of the best flights I've ever had - scenic - beautiful sunset flight out of Boston and a Flawless expert touchdown in Ft Lauderdale. High Praise!
The alacarte shopping experience was Extremely Annoying - Too much monkey business for the effort and price... Not a bargain and very unpleasant user experience.
Expensive Baggage charges and
Seats that would not recline - very uncomfortable and I now have a sore back.
No decent food
And a thank you for helping to make " Spirit The most profitable airline in the US' ... endless suggestions on how I could help Spirit become better...
Guys - time to be a little more concerned about Keeping your customers by offering a better Product!!! Who is running this company - a millennial?
"Thank you for shopping with Spirit" would be a better tag line.
After a 5 1/2 hour flight from Iceland, we knew we had a three hour layover in Boston, which turned into a 5 1/2 hour layover. The crew was there, but there was no plane. I completely understand weather delays, traffic delays etc, However the gate staff never made any type of announcements with reference to the delay, in fact many of us thought that the flight had an excellent chance of being cancelled. Also we we arrived in Ft. Lauderdale (at 1:30 am) we had to wait almost an hour to get our luggage, something broke (not sure what) and I believe they couldn't get the luggage off the plane. BUT.....there was someone there giving updates every 15 minutes or so which was greatly appreciated.
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
