Cons: "Tray table was broken, I was downgraded from Comfort plus to main cabin after a plane swap with no mention by anyone and no compensation. Flight was delayed 45 minutes because a flight attendant was running late and then to top it off, at the end of. The flight the attendants blocked anyone fromaim cabin from leaving until all of first class had departed, even when no one was coming they still Blocked it off. This is a practice I have never seen on delta and haven't seen in aviation in almost 20 years in the US"

We were told that in Europe passports cannot expire within 3 months of your departure. However, Delta never let us know about this rule until we literally were boarding the plane. With Allegiant I've learned to pack lightly and plan travel carefully. It's been worth it as I have been able to see friends and family more often. We even took an impromptu vacation this year when we found a great deal on airfare."

Upon boarding the flight from Boston to FLL the flight attendant said I would miss my connecting flight to Panama, but when I arrived to FLL I was told I would have had plenty of time to make my flight. Following these events my luggage was misplaced and is still missing, I had no other choice but books a hotel to stay the night until the next flight to Panama which is at 11 P.M. tonight which is coming out of pocket and expense I feel should be covered by the airline. To add insult to injury I was just informed that I would have to check out by 12 Noon today even though my flight isn’t until 11 that same evening"

I never and ever use that Spirit in the rest of my life even though the price is cheap."

He said nervously that he'd have to talk w/ the supervisor again, where she came back & tried to fight about weather issues from BOS to FTL..but she didn't take a second to understand that I was delayed from maintenance in MSP which didn't allow me to leave til 3pm vs 6 am. If i had made my MSP flight at 6am, I would've made my flight in BOS at 2:45 and therefore caught my FTL to SJO flight at 11pm. He then talked her through it once again, and she gave me a voucher very begrudgingly. Wrong person to have in this sort of position there. I didn't catch her name, but she was a very unprofessional supervisor working the late night shift at 11pm in FTL at spirit ticketing desk."

My departure at 8:30 PM on Friday 2/24 was the worst travel experience I have ever encountered. Including a myriad of locales in the Caribbean. The space was hot, crowded, and trashed. Granted, it was late in the day but come on folks, we can understand/forgive 1 of these but not all 3 at once. The gate agents seemed oblivious to the conditions. They need to see the writhing expanse of miserable people and offer acknowledgment and ask for understanding. Also, the line for gate 7 was backed up 70 people deep upon the pre-board announcement and never moved while they called Group1....Group 2...and Group 3. I have decided that the $50 to $100 bucks often saved on your airline is simply not worth the hassle."

Cons: "For the second time this week, spirit has cancelled a flight last minute with no explanation, no phone call, (only an email the morning of the flight) and a 1:45 minute wait on the phone to finally get my money back. I will never buy tickets from spirit again, and would advise others not to as well."

Cons: "I went to spirit.com the day before our flight to reserve 2 seats with leg room, because my son is over 6 ft tall, and was charged $24. Once we were on the plane and seated, the flight attendant asked us to swap with a woman and her service dog because the dog needed the extra space. We were given 2 bottles of water as consolation. I've written to Spirit. On top of that, the Spirit terminal at Logan was dirty and the bathrooms were disgusting. Very disappointed with this cheapo airline."

Cons: "The fare is low because the seats are extremely cramped and there are no additional amenities for entertainment. (No Wi-Fi, television, etc.)"

Cons: "When you buy the ticket in spirit your belief is that you saved money, but when you get to the airport you end up paying a lot more because of hidden fees. How can you charge people double the price compared to other airlines for a checked bag? How can you charge people for regular seating? How can you charge people for a carry on? None of your front desk employees know anything about customer service, we were treated rudely, Spirit does not care about customer experience. During the flight the seats didn't reclined and were not properly cleaned, there was no in flight entertainment and we weren't even offered drinks. I added the cost of the entire Spirit trip and it exceeds the cost of what I would have paid for any other airline."

Cons: "Most uncomfortable seats that don't recline. Tray table is as big as my phone. No seat back pocket. Crammed in with other passengers. Couldn't even work on a Mac book Air, as there was no room, and I am a small person. Felt like cattle. Also, the $45 each way carry on price is absurd. As is having to pay for a drink. Should have just taken Delta, as it would have been cheaper in the long run."

Pros: "I like that you are in control of what you want/need to spend. You don't have spend money on things that are of no consequence to you."
Cons: "The fact that Spirit has a different baggage weight limit than the other carriers was a bit of a shock. We fly a bit and maybe just took the 50 lbs limit to be common. Not at Spirit. The limit was 40 and that kinda made us go "hmmmm". It's not like Spirit hid anything, its just that we weren't looking for the differences to vary from the norm with other airlilnes. Also, the seats. They don't recline and there is much less leg room. This was hard on us as we are all tall. Again, Spirit let us know this was going to happen so there was no "surprise!", but it was uncomfortable on a 3 hr flight. The rest was fine. The crew was very entertaining."

Pros: "Horrible experience"
Cons: "Delayed flight multiple times including the last time as they cancelled flight at about 3 AM stranding families, women and children without any help to find any shelter, accommodations, new flights or refund. Simply unethical and outrageous behavior. I've been traveling for over fifty years and never witnessed anything so grotesque as this treatment of paying customers. Plan to sue."

Cons: "The fact that I had to pay over $130 for my carryon and checked luggage, there was no in-flight complimentary beverage and snack service, the seats do not recline, and I was on a 3 hour flight. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO SLEEP BECASUE I WAS SO CLOSE TO THE PERSON BESIDE ME AND SITTING COMPLETELY UPRIGHT ON A STIFF BARELY COVERED SEAT!!!! My flight out was delayed an hour and a half after we had boarded the plane, and my second flight took off an hour late as we circled around the runway. I could accept those delays but between that and the HORRIBLE SEATS, I will never fly Spirit again."

Pros: "Non stop flight, safe arrival of course."
Cons: "No leg room, extra narrow seats, no complimentary beverages or snacks (in a three hour filght, they did not even provide a free glass of water, at the very least - prices are absurdly high), no headphone jacks/screens/entertainment, no WiFi for one;s own devices. So unprofessional - they do not even have their own gate at Logan airport (had portable stand placed in front of a United gate, on which was not even listed the actual departure time of the flight.). Only reason I chose them was seeming lowest fare. But they ended up wanting $55 additional dollars for my small CARRY ON and $7 to choose my seat! Never again. Delta on way was a zillion times better experience - and cheaper!"
