Cons: "No tvs at all, narrow aisles, and my bag was lost somewhere between the east and west coasts. Pretty unapologetic, and very little information about recourse. Not a great way to end the trip."

Cons: "My husband is still in Boston because he was not allowed to check in. We tried all morning to check in and we kept getting an error message. I then tried calling and sat on hold for 45 minutes before I was disconnected!! I figured we were close to the airport so what’s the point. We dropped off our rental and my husband realized his cell phone was still in the car, he went back for it. Myself and the other couple checked in and went to the gate. By the time my husband got back to check in, he wasn’t allowed since it was less than 45 minutes before take off! The gate agent told me the flight was over sold and he wouldn’t get a seat anyways. The agents could have cared less. Not accommodating what so ever. Now he sits and waits hoping to fly out at 9 pm, it’s not a guarantee. So now here we are home and he’s not. Very frustrating. No one really seems like they want to help."

Cons: "Sun Country is very hit or miss and it all comes down to the flight attendants. I’ve have previous flights with Sun Country where the flights are smiling, kind, and helpful. However this crew didn’t take the time to be helpful and spoke down to the customers. The carts came by and it wasn’t obvious if everyone got a beverage or if was for purchase only. Either way, not the flight attendant’s fault, for me not knowing, but I was uncomfortable asking them because of the crabby looks on their faces and their unwillingness to politely answer questions."

Lastly, the plane was very outdated with cloth seats and not very spacious & some of the armrest were coming apart."

Heard someone say that a flight was leaving early I went to the gate, plane was still there and they wouldn't let me board. They said they were paging me, but saying my name wrong. I was possible 1 minute (until the normal 20 min boarding), They were of no help and this even started before my trip. After calling several times, they would now give me my flight info, said I had to go thru Kayak. I stated they charged my credit card, they should have the info. A big struggle with them. Not happy, missed a leg of my trip and want a refund."

I also had a backpack and a purse - as did the other 4 people I was traveling with but they did not have to pay for their carry ons and were asked if they wanted to check their bags for free since it was a full flight. Overall the customer service on both my departing and return flights was very poor. Won't be booking a flight with Sun Country again anytime soon. Would rather pay more money for Delta where I get better service and amenities."

Pros: "This was my first trip using Sun Country and the departure and return flights were direct. I would use this airline again. I like their process for boarding flights. The flight staff were kind and courteous. We took off and landed safely (HUGE PLUS)! At the gate, I sat near the counter and saw how the gate staff treated customers. It was evident they cared about their job and the customers they serve. There was a minor issue when 1 of 2 wheelchairs made it to the gate. They worked hard to track down an additional wheelchair for a customer getting off a flight. They treated customers with questions and requested seat reassignments kindly and were clear and composed in their communication."

Pros: "I love flying Sun Country. The staff is friendly, they allow you to check your small carry on at the gate, which allows me to board faster and not worry about anything. You still get a free beverage, which is all really need; just to stay hydrated."
Cons: "Unexpected traffic from an accident delayed arrival and airport, that coupled with long lines made for time tight, girl in front of me at security was also going to my flight so I wasn't too panicked and tad kept telling us it was going to be ok and we'd make it but they pulled me aside to pay me down at security then my companion ran on ahead, they let her on the plane and then shut the door right as I was running up. Then the last was extremely rude to me and told me it was my fault and everyone else made it on time so why couldn't I, them when the second gate agent was going to put me on the new flight the ride lady told her to put me as standby, the agent inquired as to why and said there were open seats, she said do it, standby. And then smirked at me like she'd put me in my place. I was speechless, never delt with suncountry employee who was rude. Really disappointed with this experience"

It made getting off the plane a hassle because we then had to wait for everyone to get off before we could grab our bags. Was never offered a drink either."
Cons: "It was a pretty unpleasant ride, I arrived only to find that the size listed for carry-ons on their website was inaccurate se ended up having to check my bag at the gate for a 25$ fine and had to pay another 20$ on the way back. Really expensive especially for a college student who can barely afford it on top of the nearly 500$ ticket. Definitely not worth that especially if they scam you into paying for checked bags. I don't know if it was just this one flight but I don't plan on flying Sun Country again. Horrible experience."

Everyone should check their luggage or those who carry on should be the ones who pay"

The seats were so small and tight and then we had to get off the plane and take all of our belongings and waited another 3 hours to get back on the plane after they had told us something was wrong with the plane. It was a horrible experience. And we received nothing for the inconvenience when I had to cancel my work day so I had no compensation and lost clients because of cancelling last minute on them."

Trenton and punta gorda airports are small, you have to walk to the plane. I love the small airports, no lines , easy parking!"

It's a budget airline so you have to pay for things like refreshments and snacks (also, carryons and if you want you boarding pass printed at the airport) -- but don't let that sway you! All it takes is a little prior organization (we packed a couple of sandwiches and printed our passes at home, plus packed very light). Overall a great experience."

Cons: "Rental car I paid for on Allegiant website didn't include $50 in airport and sales taxes making it look like the Allegiant rentals were about the same as renting directly from rental car companies. Problem is that Allegiant didn't include taxes in the quote or amount I paid online. Surprise when I got to my destination and was told it would be $50 more. Alamo agent said I wasn't the first person to have that problem. Then on return my bag was damaged and was told I could place a claim at the ticket counter. It would have been helpful to have an agent there or a way to contact an agent. No such luck. After bag charges, poor service and hidden fees Allegiant isn't really a great deal."
Cons: "I understand that Allegiant has a pricing structure to implement, but forcing passengers to keep personal items between their feet when most of the overhead compartments were empty was just insulting and ridiculous - not to mention dangerous. In the event of extreme turbulence (or worse), all those personal items would be flying around the cabin."

The lady behind the counter said I could not check my luggage that the only way for it to get on the plane was to take it through the TSA checkpoint. They confiscated everything in my bag that was over 3oz which was quite a bit of stuff hence the reason why I was trying to check it in. I will not be flying Allegiant air again."

Cons: "I say somewhat cheap, because by the time they ala carte everything, it's not so cheap anymore. As in no longer cheap enough to justify the bare bones service. The flight attendants are basically candy salespeople. I typically need help putting things in the overhead bin, but the flight attendant actually told me it wasn't her job. That indeed may be the airline's bad policy, but she also thought her way of expressing it was appropriate, which it is not. That has to come straight from the top. Also, what kinda janky airline doesn't serve complementary water. Probably the biggest deal though was that my flight was delayed for 2 hours both ways due to a maintenance issue. I know air travel is fairly safe, but given the track record of both Allegiant and Airbus, I was a little worried during the flights. Even though this particular route is convenient for me, I'm going to avoid Allegiant."
