Beautiful plane, great entertainment system, two bathrooms for economy class, decent food

I love Delta, especially their newer planes that have screens in the backs of headrests and free movies.
Leg room is never enough. I'm 6'1".
Good service, more leg room than American Airlines.

Older plane, no entertainment
The flight was so short we did not even get a snack, only an offer of a bottle of water; this was simply due to to short length of the flight. Basic economy had my wife and I 16 rows apart each in a middle seat. I was in the very last seat on the plane. Flight attendants were attentive and surprisingly very nice, legroom is non-existent (same as every flight in plain coach).
High cost to prebook seats was twice what Spirit or Frontier would charge
Decent boarding group, same snacks, same flight attendants (who were very nice)
My only gripe is that paying for an assigned seat is only allowed 48 hours before takeoff and costs at least $30, twice what Spirit charges to allow you to select a seat during booking, so it is worse. No one watched us to ensure that we didn’t use the overhead bins (a stipulation of the fare) but we did comply anyway. We chose to take our chances and were assigned seats at the gate 16 rows apart and both in the middle seat.
Flight was not full.
Luggage was very late and arrived at the wrong carousel.
They separated my bags, so I had to wait in Philadelphia for my bag to arrive on next flight 2 1/2 hours latter. Not happy after flying from Sydney.
Entertainment, and leg space.
Full plane, long wait to use lavatory. Crew was good, but should have upped their game under the circumstances, especially with regards to keeping the lavatory clean. The noodles for breakfast turned out to be porridge, and went straight to the waste basket.
I found the reason for being late to be questionable They said heavy snow but as i flew in i looked out the window and saw all roads nicely cleared That does not happen in 3 hours
They did not get my liggage to the connecting flight And here i am in Ukraine with no winter clothes at 7 below 3 days later
delayed in piecemeal by 6 hrs before move to another gate. than mechanical delay and then cancelled. Arrived at hotel after midnight without food or drink. Substitute flight was next day noon - original offer was for late afternoon flight! That flight had poor service. Attendant dawdled so there were no drinks served.
Flight was cancelled on our way back home from Gudalajara, was speaking to a representative for almost 2 hours to get me on the next flight the flight representative forgot to put me on hold and told everyone how rude i was, i was not rude i was just trying to get home. The representative couldn’t help me so i asked to be transferred to a manager, after 2 hours i was transferred and the manager hung the phone up. Long story short i called back spoke to another manager Yana and she was the rudest lady ever! She basically told me for waiting to long i will have to be placed on a flight 2 days after my cancellation flight. I started to cry because i needed to be home and she basically did not care so i took the date. Never again and i will warn everyone about this airline and their customer service!
Flight was on time-ish, no trouble really. Call center folks were great.
Our original flight was cancelled with no explanation. My girlfriend was notified of this and I was not. When I called to get my flight details I was informed that I was to fly out on a completely different day instead. After explaining that there was no chance of that happening, the call center rep was happy to help. The flight was now an American Airlines flight booked through Alaska. About 3 days before our flight we both received calls from American saying that they did not have our passenger information. Apparently Alaska just didn't transfer that over. We also now had two confirmation codes as the returning and connecting flights were still with Alaska. Once we got to the airport on the day of I was able to print my American Airlines boarding pass, however I could not print my Alaska boarding pass on neither American nor Alaska's kiosks. It was a redeye flight as well so there was no staff at the check in counters yet. We ultimately did get to our destination, but it was such a completely unnecessary headache to get there.
Delta has better movie selection and that’s not good .
My seat was great . The flight was smooth and on time both ways . The staff was friendly.

Flew Alaska air - Plenty of leg room and much more than any qantas domestic flight!
Phone charging outlet under my seat didn't work.
Crew was very kind and apologetic for delay.

Very friendly cabin crew made this trip pleasant and entertaining.
Despite plenty of empty seats, the ground personnel would not consider changing our seat assignment at the gate to allow us to sit together.
The flight actually left.
Poor communication. Flight originally at 11:35, then 12:05, then 12:15... At 11:55, they said they would start boarding in 20 min. How can you do that and still take off at 12:15? Answer: you can't. Just be honest and keep us informed. Bonus: United sent me an email saying that connection had already left (it hadn't - thanks United! - awesome service as always!)
