Unfortunately, the Delta 767 doesn't offer any upgrade for a wider seat beyond Delta One, and my employer won't spring for that. Too bad there isn't a premium economy option. Also, the entertainment unit in the seat next to mine malfunctioned, which you wouldn't think would impact me that much except that because it was "seeing" touches randomly throughout the flight, the screen would turn on, off, brighter, dimmer, play random stuff, and just generally be as annoying as possible to everyone nearby throughout an overnight flight."

I didn’t see one of them smile through the whole flight like they were just going through the motions. I’ve worked in jobs where you have to deal with the general public but you have a job to do and must smile and do your best to be helpful. I felt intimidated to even ask for anything like I was wasting their time. I love flying Delta and this was my worst experience yet."

When I went to check in with Virgin Atlantic they told me to go to Delta. When I went to Delta they told me to go back to Virgin Atlantic. I wound up checking in with Virgin Atlantic. Everyone was very polite but check in was confusing. Everything else was wonderful. Cutomer service was great from beginning to end."

And flight attendant helpfully described it as 'chicken'. Breakfast was a cold roll, a piece of cheese and some awful yogurt. This was the most unbearable 8.5 hours of my life."

Cons: "I wouldn't know how our flight to Sioux Falls was. Delta left without us, after they made us late. We left DC late because of Delta's inefficient boarding process. We landed in Atlanta late. Our flight to Sioux Falls left early, without us. My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."

A pleasant flight overall with my first impression being an airline with current popular music playing in the background and flight attendants cheerful. Since I was traveling alone, I opted to not purchase my seat prior to my flight date, instead I chose my aisle seat within 24 hours for free. I checked in my one bag and found out I had pre-checked so my security check went so smooth at the new terminal 2 at LAX. Looking forward to my flight back on June 15."

The third time I got s seat assigned but again, they were very rude. Won't fly delta again."

Pros: "I can’t say enough about the Lufthansa staff- we ran to our gate because our connecting flight was late, and we were greeted by a warm and smiling face who said “It’s alright, don’t run, take your time, we’re waiting for you.” Onboard the crew was phenomenal- Every. Single. One. I have always felt as a burden to crew if I asked for extra water or an extra blanket- not on this flight, not with this crew. They came around multiple times per hour during an 8hr and 20min flight, offering various beverages and checking on everyone. I can’t thank them enough for how caring they were to everyone on board. The captain as well was very professional and had a kind spirit when he spoke. Best experience I’ve ever had- (and I travel multiple times per year!)"

The woman got up to get her stuff out of the overhead compartment even though we were told to stay seated. At no point did any of the crew members do anything in regards to this family and their disruptive actions."

On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

In the mean time, no drinks, no snacks, nothing. So we should depart at 18:00 but it became 19:30. Our first drinks and meal was no earlier then 21:00. The crew should have anticipated better that the technical problem would at least take one hour and give everyone a drink at least."

Cons: "Since we had two extra bags (paid for in Chicago), they demanded to see my receipt before we could board in Amsterdam to Nairobi. We had trouble locating the receipt and we were not given an explanation as to why we needed it again. We were traveling with 5 kids including an infant and we were not allowed to board until we found the receipt. I thought surely they would have record that I had paid, but I guess not. We were the last to board and all very stressed out. The staff seemed not to care the least in our troubles."

Cons: "Sprang for business class. Could not get assigned seats until 24 hours before takeoff unless I paid an extra $200 and therefore got the last 2 seats together. Check in was very slow. The agents disappeared for about 15 minutes. Business class lounge ran out of food but BA gave us vouchers to eat elsewhere in the terminal. Flight left about an 90 min late (seems like it is always late) so had to run through Heathrow to catch the connection. Boarding area was too small and chaotic. Seating in business class was ok for me as I am only 5''7" but would be poor for someone over 6 feet. The steak entree was brown through and through. Overall the experience was disappointing."

Cons: "Incredibly, when we went to the British Airways desk to check in they said they didn't have our tickets (!). They put us on standy-by even though we'd booked the tickets and paid in full seven months in advance. Once we eventually got on the plane, it blew a tire on the tarmac and took five (!) hours to fix. There was another short delay finding a gate once we landed in Heathrow, then they lost my luggage and I've yet to receive it. Far and away the worst flight I've ever taken. Avoid BA if you can."

Pros: "Food was great and the crew was friendly. Overall enjoyed the flight."
Cons: "The check in took way too long. Sat there for an hour to check in my luggage. I thought i might miss my flight but i was two minutes before takeoff."

Pros: "Everything is clockwise precision. All the passengers were well disciplined or rather made to be. Aircraft was very airworthy. The pilot was very experienced and nice soft landing at Mumbai in spite of inclement weather conditions"
Cons: "The food & drinks. Both offered we're mediocre stuff."

Cons: "Unfortunately, the passenger beside me a young man was over served by the flight attendant and became extremely inebriated so that when I tried to ignore him and sleep, he kept touching me, rubbing my arm and leg. The crew were aware of what was happening and tried to reprimand him. It made my flight extremely difficult and it was all because the flight attendant served him doubles of whiskey (which the passenger was drinking neat) on six occasions, two bottles of red wine and that does not include the doubles the passenger procured for himself from other attendants. In all the behaviour of this passenger made my flight a complete nightmare and it was totally unnecessary for him to be served this much alcohol."

Pros: "Flight attendants and pilot very nice and informative."
Cons: "Very small seats in economy for an overseas flight, making it extremely difficult to get comfortable enough to sleep."

Pros: "Pros..Communication was excellent, we knew our flight was delayed hours in advance so we could prepare, they rerouted our connection so we didn't have to worry about that on arrival, and the onboard crew was excellent and caring. They helped a family to sit together by asking for volunteers to move, and they helped me locate my daughter who had been delayed by a problem with gate check in. The flight was smooth and we all arrived safely."
Cons: "The seats in economy were extremely cramped, there was no legroom and I don't know how tall people could fit in there. There is no way a person could get out of his or her seat to go to the bathroom without making the others in the row stand up and get in the aisle and that's pretty uncomfortable to do on an overnight flight when people are sleeping."

Pros: "Grest staff"

Cons: "BA, as well as most airlines, treat their economy fliers with distain. The seat pitch is obscenely too little and possibly dangerous. Their thinking is obviously "make it so uncomfortable that all but the poorest customers will pay more for a modest upgrade'."

Pros: "Staff was friendly and helpful. Meals were decent for airline food. Blankets, headphones, and even a toothbrush were provided."
Cons: "Both flights were delayed departing which made for a long journey becoming even longer. Seating area fairly cramped in economy class (not too surprising I suppose). Rude Brit behind me kicking and pushing my chair because like 90% of the other passengers I reclined my chair on this overnight flight and he took that as a personal affront. Not the airlines fault I had the only jackass on the flight directly behind me, but impactful none the less."

Pros: "A long haul flight in coach can be interesting, but the BA staff, as always, were very cordial. Security was great...thorough."

Cons: "My wife lost her passport aboard the aircraft; it was not recovered. We do not feel that the BA staff did an adequate search. This caused us great difficulties with the immigration authorities at Heathrow."

Bad food options, chicken or veg only. Very "grey" Englush Breakfast. Dinner food option not as announced. The entire experience was poor. Grumpy crew who seemed flustered and were not paying attention to service."

Pros: "The crew s oustanding. They were courteous, helpful, very professional and made the flying experience a pleasure for my family. With respect to the Miami ticket agents, there are 3 people I want to highlight for excellent service. Denise, who courteously accommodated our family and rescheduled our flight as needed, another young lady who checked us in. She was sensitive to our party of 5 and was extremely pleasant. The check in process was chaotic at best and she helped make it a pleasant experience. The person is Diane, the manager at the Miami airport. She helped bring order to a completely disorganized check in process and ended up personally escorting us through security toe sure that we made our flight on time. Diane is an excellent leader."
Cons: "The check in process was completely disorganized, due to a cancelled flight from Miami to Heathrow the night before. And there were 3 scheduled flights already that people were checking in for as well. There had to have been at least 600+ people in line to check in, plus those from the night before. The Miami airport doesn't have kiosks for passengers to easily check in and bag drop, which doesn't make sense in such a large and busy international airport. That would have made a huge difference in this case. Also, we paid for our seats to select them prior to 24 hours and we ended up not sitting together."

Pros: "I Like the check in process, the punctuality of the flight"
Cons: "The food was terrible, they kept me waiting for my strolley on LHR for over half an hour!"

Pros: "I especially liked our seats (we were in the exit row and had plenty of leg room); the crew, and the food."

Cons: "I was told a 2 hour transit time would be sufficient but when we arrived in London, we had to go through several gates with long lines at Terminal 5. I was leary that this was achievable without the long lines but on this day, we couldn't even get past the first gate before they told us that we will miss our connecting flight."

Cons: "The plane itself was old there were no tvs on the seats so the "in flight entertainment" was awful. When you plugged headphones in there was an awful noise that prevented you from hearing anything from the movie/show. Considering this was a transatlantic flight, the plane should have been better. We were also delayed due to maintenance that needed to be done on the flight. Luckily London was my last stop so I was not late for anymore flights but a lot of people on the plane were. I was very disappointed and will be disappointed again if my return flight has the same issues."

Cons: "Seems like each new airplane reduces space for passengers in economy. There are just so many seats you and squeeze in. I am not a tall person, and certainly not overweight, and I felt crammed in the seat. I feel sorry for people who are tall and big. They must have a terrible time. The older 767 from Heathrow to Athens was MUCH more spacious and comfortable. I can't afford business class and certainly not first class. Economy has been squeezed beyond logical levels. Good was so so. Not to my taste. The chicken with mashed potatoes was rubbery and mashed didn't even taste like potatoes. Other than that, trip was on time. So that helped."

Pros: "the window seats have no leg room. There is an entertainment box under every window seat so there is no room for your legs or small bag. I was in pain the last 7 hours of the flight due to leg cramps & spasms."

Pros: "Friendly staff"

Pros: "We took off with an hour delay but we caught up so there were no delays in London. Smooth flight. The guy at check in was great, very helpful and pleasant (I forgot his name unfortunately)."
Cons: "-The crew was pretty unfriendly. They did not smile and one crew basically yelled at me becasue he did not hear my reply when he asked what I want for dinner so instead of asking politely again he started to yell at me "Chicken or pasta?'"- I think Allistair was his name. The other lady also came across rude to me when she said "You have to speak up becasue I cant hear you!"- sorry, English is not my first language but I think the polite way should have been "Sorry m'am I could not hear you, could you please spak up?" - entertainment needs better selection"

Pros: "The plane itself is big enough which makes the ride quite comfortable and less subject to turbulence."
Cons: "Seats do not recline much in economy but that is expected."

Pros: "Breakfast was good and a surprise. Short flight so did not watch any entertainment. Crew was nice."
Cons: "Checking in at main desk was chaos. Waited in line forever only to be overcharged for my second checked bag compared to their website rate. Inefficient people manning the desks. Boarding was just as chaotic. Crew acted new/disorganized. Seats extremely hard, very little padding. Old plane."

I went to the wrong terminal and did not know that the advertised finair flight was actually American Airlines, the AA ticket counter attendant went all out to make sure I made it to the gate. All this with less than an hour before departure."
Cons: "I went to the wrong terminal, the email ticket had finair in large print and in smaller print indicated American. Luckily I was able to literally run and make my flight. Would be better to more clearly indicate actual airline."

Cons: "1) Flight from Dallas delayed and caused me to miss the connecting flight from London to Vienna. 2) Monitor for the entertainment not working AT ALL. Crew tried to reset it multiple times, but it didn't help. So flight was longer due to delay and I was looking at the BLACK SCREEN entire time. 3) I attempted to read my book. Since it was a night flight and overhead lights were off to prevent disturbance, I needed to use reading light. Well, the reading light was not working. I called a flight attendant to assist me. She tried to help me, but confirmed that it was out of order. 4) There was not information regarding terminal for my connecting flight. Captain kindly referred us to look up this information on our individual screens. Mine was not working, neither was the screen of the passengers next to me. Not helpful at all."

Cons: "Tight conditions, lousy movies& music, video system did not work well, 1 hour wait on runway"

Traveling with my elderly dad who had to squeeze between two large men for 7 hours because people who actually booked the airline got priority seating. We had to pay an extra $500 to upgrade to comfortable seats. Not pleased w Kayak."

When I checked online they have nothing but bad reviews. Unfortunately I will not be booking through kayak again in fear of having to deal with airfare."

I usually skip or leave half of the in-flight food served, but this rates as one of the best meals, I've had in an airplane outside of business class. The in-flight entertainment/information service was decent, but perhaps because the plane was still in new condition."
Cons: "On this entire business trip, I booked with other companies, but ended up 5 flights operated by American Airlines. One cancellation, 4 delayed, 3 late arrivals. The last one was the most annoying. I will be avoiding AA in the future. The domestic crews are generally brusque and miserable. The international flight crews were more accommodating and pleasant, but most of them also seemed annoyed at passenger presence. Also, having to pay for a preferred seat on a half-empty airplane is simply unfair. By 24hrs before the flight, AA must have known there were plenty of empty seats."

Cons: "Don't like the habit of having the staff reserve the last 3 rows of the airplane for personal usage when there are no other spare seats on the plane. Then we were lied to by the attendants that they did this to balance the weight across the aircraft. The seats are incredibly uncomfortable to begin with and mine had a broken seat bag making things worse. All in all a miserable flight to Europe for my kids and me."

Pros: "The movie screen was not working but fortunately no one was sitting next to me so I could move over a seat."
Cons: "I would have liked a second cup of coffee as the coffee was better than most airplane coffee. No one appeared with refills, however."

Pros: "Overall smooth trip and congenial staff."
Cons: "This is coming from a western audience but there could have been more entertainment options."
